: Sir/Madam We have participated in group tour Assam Meghalaya Arunachal Pradesh started on 9th December and ends on 20 December. It was a really great experience with team Veena World. In a difficult sector Our team maneger Mr. Rohan Deshpande and Mr. Vignesh Sathale took our care as a family member and we don't get any problems. Itinerary (Day Wise)

Guwahati – tezpur (1 night).

Tour Guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival at Guwahati – Capital city of Assam, Veena World Tour Manager will meet all tour guests and proceed to Tezpur – a city located on the backs of river Brahmaputra. En route we visit Maha Mrityunjai Temple – renowned as the World's Tallest Shivling at about 126 feet high.

Tezpur – Bomdila (1 Night)

Today we visit Mahabhairab Temple – an ancient temple located on a hillock. Later we proceed to Bomdila.

Bomdila—Tawang (2 Nights)

Today we visit Bomdila Monastery – a beautiful monastery amidst nature. Later we proceed to Tawang, enroute we visit Sela Pass and Sela Lake which gives some delightful views of eastern Himalayan ranges, followed by a visit to Jaswant Garh Indo Chinese War Memorial – a memorial in honour of late Jaswant Singh Rawat and Kiwi garden. Note: Tawang is situated at a high altitude, which may pose challenges for guests with certain health conditions. If you have pre-existing health issues, we strongly recommend consulting with your doctor before planning your visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Note: Kiwi Garden is operational in Apr, May & Nov. Therefore, guests booking for that period can enjoy the Kiwi Garden.

• Night Stay in Tawang
• Tea/Coffee en route to Tawang, Tea/Coffee and Pakoda at Tawang

Today early morning we proceed to Bum la Pass – Situated at the Indo-China border, 15,200 ft. above the sea level. (Please Note: We visit Bum la Pass if we get permission from the Indian army. Also only if the roads are operational). Later we proceed to visit Peng Teng Tso Lake and Shungatser or Madhuri Lake – which became popular due to its appearance in the Bollywood movie Koyla. It is also known as Madhuri Lake as it is named after the lead actress in the movie. In the evening we visit we visit Tawang War Memorial - built in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Sino-Indian war and enjoy the Sound and Light Show. Note: Foreigners and NRI's are restricted to visit Bum la Pass, Peng Teng Tso Lake and Shungatser Lake.

• Tea/Coffee and Instant Noodles at Bum La Pass or Madhuri Lake, Tea/Coffee and Veg Momos at Hotel

Tawang – Bomdila (1 Night)

Today we visit Tawang Monastery – the 2nd largest monastery in Asia. Later we proceed to Bomdila. Enroute we visit Nuranang waterfall at Jang – one of the most spectacular waterfall which offers a pristine and beautiful experience.

• Tea/Coffee en route to Bomdila, Tetra Pack Juice at Nuranang Waterfall, Lassi/Chaas during journey, Evening Tea/Coffee at Hotel.

Bomdila – Kaziranga (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Kaziranga - where wildlife roams fearlessly and enjoy a beautiful rendezvous with nature. En-route we visit Nag Temple – a Temple dedicated to snake god and Agnigarh – the site of a fortress, which as per the Hindu mythology, was built by Banasura to keep his daughter Usha in isolation. On arrival at Kaziranga, we have some free time for relaxing.

• Morning Tea/Coffee and dry Pohe en route to Kaziranga, Tea/Coffee in the evening.

Today we experience a thrilling jeep safari at Kaziranga National Park for wildlife viewing. We will come face to face with one horned rhino’s, elephants, deer’s and rare migratory birds. Later we visit Orchid Park – an orchid house with over 600 species from Northeast India, bamboo and medicinal herb gardens, a cactus house and a handicrafts museum. In the evening we enjoy the spectacular Bihu dance – an indigenous folk dance of Assam.

Kaziranga – Shillong (3 Nights)

Today we proceed to Shillong – The capital city of Meghalaya. En route we enjoy the view of beautiful Umiam Lake.

Shillong – Mawlynnong – Shillong

Today we explore Mawlynnong village which has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge – Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots. Later we proceed to see the crystal clear waters of Dawki river and enjoy boating on the river. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) constructed by British in 1932. We also visit India - Bangladesh border at Tamabil. In the evening, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.

• Tea/Coffee en route Mawlynnong & Local fruit at Living Root Bridge, Tea/Coffee at Shillong in the evening.

Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong

Today we visit Cathedral of Mary, Elephant Falls and Ram Krishna Mission. Later we proceed to Cherrapunjee – officially known as Sohra. It is the wettest place on earth. We also visit Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai fall – the tallest plunge waterfall in India. In the evening, we have free time to enjoy shopping in local market.

• Morning Tea/Coffee and Momos en route Cherrapunjee, Butter Milk at Lunch point and Evening Tea/Coffee enroute Shillong.

Shillong – Guwahati (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Guwahati. Upon arrival we visit the Kamakhya Temple – one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in the country and enjoy a ride in the longest river ropeway over the Brahmaputra. Get a panoramic view of Umananda Temple, Peacock Island, the Brahmaputra River and the surrounding hills. Later we sail over the River Cruise in Brahmaputra.

• Morning Tea/Coffee en route to Guwahati, Jhalmuri (local bhel) at Guwahati and Evening Tea/coffee on the cruise.

Guwahati – Departure to Hometown

Arrival in Guwahati

As soon as you reach the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati or the railway station you will be received by the Swan Tours representative who will further accompany you to the first location in a transfer on a drive that is Shillong that lies among the seven sisters of Northeast. After reaching Shillong that is also known as the Scotland of the East, you will go out on a short visit to the largest artificial lake that is the Umium Lake followed by boating to spend quality time at leisure. Undergo the check-in formalities in the hotel that are pre-booked followed by an overnight stay!

Shillong to Cherrapunji (Excursion)

Enjoy having the early morning breakfast and buck up to go out on an extremely wonderful excursion to the wettest land in the country that is Cherrapunji that is also known as Sohra which receives even ad plentiful downpours throughout the year followed by the elephant waterfalls, nohkalikai falls and Mawsmai cave, and 150 Mtr cave while returning back to Shillong. On arrival at the hotel, stay overnight after having dinner!

Shillong to Mawlynnong

Wake up to the morning breakfast and meet the new day with your departure for the cleanest village in Asia that is Mawlynong. Upon arrival, you will come across the living root bridge that is naturally made with the roots of trees which offers excellent hiking for an hour to its visitors. Later, in the evening return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Shillong to Kaziranga National park

Post waking up to breakfast, you will move out on your next guided transfer to Kaziranga after check-out from the hotel in Shillong. Soon after you reach the land of wildlife, you will check-in the hotel and stay for the night after having dinner!

Day out in Kaziranga National Park

Wake up to the morning breakfast and get ready t to proceed for catching insights of the wonderful fauna species in Kaziranga on a jeep safari or elephant ride that lets you explore a lot of animals namely, One-horned Rhinoceros, Wild Buffalo, Hog Deer, Swamp deer, red-headed bill and various flora as well. Get back to the hotel and stay overnight after having dinner.

Kaziranga National Park - Dirang

Start the day with the morning breakfast and start with your morning journey to Dirang after checking out from the hotel. En-route cover Tippi that is situated on the banks of the mighty river Jia BHorali at an escalation of 190 m. You will get to explore wonderful orchids in this place which Arunachal Pradesh is especially famous for. You will be going through enchanting falls and sceneries and after reaching the hotel, you will have lunch and check-in the hotel. Watch out the local apple baby room, kiwi ranch, dzong (fort), warm water springtime after lunch followed by an overnight stay!

Dirang - Tawang

After having the morning breakfast, you will carry out a guided drive to Tawang that starts with the check-out from Dirang. On the way stop by to cover the Sela Pass that is situated at an elevation of 13, 700 feet above the sea level followed by other sightseeing spots like, the kiwi garden, warm spring & Jaswant Garh. After completing the check-in formalities take rest in the hotel! In the evening head to the Tawang Monastery and PT Tso lake followed by an overnight stay!

After getting treated to the morning breakfast, you will start with sightseeing in and around Tawang that is one of the most beautiful places in Arunachal Pradesh. Start with the lakes followed by bird watching and also cover the 300-year-old Tawang Monastery that is locally called Gompa. It is the largest in India and the second largest in Asia after the Lhasa in Tibet. Have lunch and go out for some shopping where you will be delighted to count on some of the local items that are special out there followed by the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village. Tawang to Bomdila

Start the morning breakfast and get along with the day with your drive to the next amazing location in Northeast, bomdila. This place is elevated at a height of 8000 ft followed by the snow-filled peaks and exotic greenery. Soon after having lunch, visit the GontseRabgyaling Monastery from where you get the panoramic views of the sceneries. Stay overnight in the hotel ater checking in at Bomdila!

Bomdila - Bhalukpong

Have the morning breakfast post which you will take a drive to Bhalukpong which is another location famous for sightseeing in Northeast. Day 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK   (365 Kms – 7 Hrs Drive)

After morning breakfast, transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel/Lodge/resort, Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Kaziranga.

Day 05: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – DIRANG (250 Kms / 7 Hrs) Early morning explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world’s endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world’s population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher’s paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla’s Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here. We will return to the resort for breakfast & then we will experience a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park. After then leave Kaziranga for Dirang.

Dirang is famous for its apples. It has also started Kiwi cultivation in the winter. Day 06: DIRANG – TAWANG   (146kms. / 5hrs Drive)

Early in the morning, leave for Tawang. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – the Sela Pass which runs through a small ridge and along a placid Lake called the Paradise Lake. On the way cross the National Yak Research and Breeding Centre, Natural Hot Water Spring and Jaswantgarh.Jaswantgarh is a memorial to the brave soldier who single handedly tried to hold of the approaching Chines from the pass during the 1962 Indo – Chinese war. Day 07: TAWANG In the morning go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. Day 08:  TAWANG  – BHALUKPONG    (285 KM. / 07 hrs approx) After morning breakfast, we will depart for Bhalukpong.

We visited North East, mainly Kaziranga and Shillong, Cherapunji with NatureWings in last December with my family and friends. Our tour started from Guwahati and first we visited Kaziranga National Park. In Kaziranga Western Range, we took the early morning Kaziranga Elephant Safari . It was an amazing experience as through elephant safari in Kaziranga Western range, we went to very close to the One-horn Rhino teams. In the afternoon we went to Kaziranga Central Range for the Kaziranga Jeep Safari . In the open hood Jeep, we entered into the central range, which is consists of mainly tall grass and we could locate Rhinos from little bit distance. Our Kids were extremely happy to enjoy the both Kajiranga Jungle Safari. From Kaziranga we went to shilong and Cherapunji, where we have enjoyed all the sightseeing including Dawki River and Seven Sister Falls. Our Special thanks to Mr. Sandip Raha, Director NatureWings and his entire North East Team who made our trip perfectly flawless and memorable. We will certainly take their help in future travel and recommend to others too.

We have taken Kaziranga and Arunachal Trip through NatureWings in this year January month. It was Nine Nights trip with my three friends and their families. Our trip includes Kaziranga, Tawang, Dirang, Bomdila and Bhalukpong. We are from Mumbai and we got the reference of NatureWings from one of my close friend, who took the North East Package from NatureWings last year and suggested me to take the Kaziranga Package Tour along with Arunachal with NatureWings only as they were extremely happy with NatureWings Service. So after a discussion, we did lots of customization as our choice and they revised the itinerary happily so many times. We have planned for Kaziranga Jungle Safari for long and our first day was in Kaziranga Jungle and on the next day early morning we took the famous Kaziranga Elephant Safari . It was only once in a life time experience as we could see the One Horn Rhinos just from few metre distance. In the afternoon, we took the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in the central range and that too was great experience. We stayed in a nice resort close to Kaziranga Western Range and resort was very beautiful with nice ambience, food and service were extremely good. Next day, we started for Western Aurnachal and we visited Bomdila, Tawang, Diranga and Bhalukpong and overall Arunachal experience was also very good. Thank you NatureWings for providing best experience in our North East Package.

We had visit the Kaziranga forest with Naturewings this January and it was an awesome experience. Kaziranga Sanctuary has a variety of flora and fauna, the one horn rhino, tiger and elephants could be seen from here, with a variety of birds. We woke up early in the morning that day for the Kaziranga elephant safari, it was about an hour we had the trip. We had the luck to see the Rhinos just at a few meters of distance from us. After finishing the safari we had a great breakfast at our hotel (which was booked by Naturewings team) and went for a drive to the part of the Kaziranga, Kaziranga Central range to enjoy the Jeep Safari in Kaziranga through the dense forest. NatureWings has arranged everything perfectly for Kaziranga Jungle Safari and we had a really good time there and highly satisfied with service of NatureWings. Will recommend all of my friends or family to go with them only.

Kaziranga is the best place to spot endangered One Horned Rhino. This sanctuary is divided in 4 ranges and the western and central ranges are the best to spot the Rhinos. It has to be done through the Kaziranga Jeep Safari in central range or the Kaziranga Elephant Safari in western range which anyone will love to go for. The elephant safari gets start by 5.30 in the morning and tickets were arranged by Naturewings team. We had a zeep safari so got a chance to see the lush greenery of the dense forest from the close. We spotted the tiger from a long distance luckily and got the glimpse of the famous one horn rhino. The best part of the trip is we avail the full service of Naturewings which was extremely satisfactory and hassle free. We thank Mr. Raha and his team for all their help and making our trip memorable.

Remarkable Experience, It was my first visit with NatureWings to Shillong, Cherapunji & most importantly Kaziranga National Park in the mid Feb. The best part to highlight is about Kaziranga Elephant Safari in Bagori Range though we have experience both Kaziranga Jeep Safari & Elephant Safari . But Elephant Safari was really unforgettable; It gives us better view of One-horned Rhino, dense forest & other wildlife. We must suggest all to visit Kaziranga National park and experience Kaziranga Jungle Safari and get the experience of staying at the forest. Last but not the least, I would like to give special thanks to NatureWings team who just haven't book the perfect hotels and all other arrangements, they have taken care of every small points and organised perfectly which made our trip a remarkable one.

Day 01: Arrival Guwahati – Shillong

Day 04: Shillong – Kaziranga National Park

Morning drive to Kaziranga National Park (280 kms / 06 hrs). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Kaziranga National Park, situated in the central Assam with an area of 430 sq kms, is the home of the great India one horned Rhinoceros (Unicorns). The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reed, mellow marshes and shallow pools are hidden many other animals. These animals are very much part of complex ecological balance of the park. Elephant, Indian Bison, Swamp Deer, Sambar, Hog deer, Sloth, Hog Badger, Capped Languor, Hoolock Gibbon Jackal, Goose, Hornbill ibis, Cormorants and many more. All these are joined by a number of migratory birds during wintertime. Afternoon is free to enjoy the beauty of the national park or to explore Kaziranga National Park by own (subject to operation). Day 05: Kaziranga National Park

Early morning (0500 hrs) explore Central Range of Kaziranga National Park by Elephant Safari & explore the Western Range by Jeep Safari (subject to operation). Return back to the hotel. Later on proceed to explore Eastern Range of Kaziranga National Park by Jeep (subject to operation). Return back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Kaziranga.

Day 06: Kaziranga – Nameri

Morning drive to Nameri National Park (120km / 02 hrs). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Nameri National Park – the last house of White winged Wood Duck along with much others wildlife in the likes of clouded Leopard, Tiger, Indian Bison and capped Languor etc. Afternoon is free to explore the natural beauty of Nameri National Park. Day 07: Nameri – Dirang

Day 09: Dirang – Tawang

Morning drive to Tawang – "the blessed land of Monpa's". Enroute visit the great Tsela Pass (13700 ft) and Tsela Lake at the height of 14000ft and also see the Jaswantgarh a 1962 Indo-China War Memorial – which is built in memory of a one brave Indian soldier named Jaswant, who fought alone and managed to stop the Chinese army for 72 hrs in Indo-China war in the year of 1962. Continue drive to Tawang, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 10: Tawang

Morning proceeds for half-day sightseeing of Tawang, covering the famous Tawang Monastery – the 300 year old Monastery, locally called 'Gompa' is considered to be the oldest in India and second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet. The Monastery is standing on the spur of a hill over 12000 ft. above the sea level. Over looking the wide valley and surrounded on all sides of the towering mountains. 12 kms on the north west of Tawang is the Brandung Chung Ani Gompa, the monastery of the Nuns. Also Visit to Ani Gompa, Museum, Emporium and local markets for shopping. Return back to hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 11: Tawang – Bomdila

Morning drive to Bomdila (185 kms / 07 hrs) – the head quarter of west Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 8000 ft, has a marvelous view of the snow capped mountains and inhabitant of mixed tribal group of Monpa, Sherdulpen, Aka, Miji, Bhugun and Tibetans. Enroute visit Jung Waterfall – the beautiful waterfall with great views. Continue drive to Bomdila, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the local market & emporiums of Bomdila on your own. Overnight at Bomdila.

Day 12: Bomdila – Balipara

Morning proceeds to explore upper and lower Gompa (Buddhist Monastery), Museum etc. and drive to Balipara (140 kms / 05 hrs). On arrival transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceeds to explore the Tea Plantations of Assam & enjoy the beauty at Balipara. Overnight at Balipara.

Day 13: Balipara – Guwahati

Morning drive to Guwahati, covering 190 kms / 05 hrs. Enroute visit Tezpur – "the city of blood" & explore the Chitralekha Udyan (Cole Park), Mahabhairava Mandir dating back to 06th Century at Tezpur. Continue drive to Guwahati, on arrival transfer to hotel. Later on enjoy the River Cruise on the River Brahmaputra. Rest of the day is free to explore the handicrafts market of Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 14: Guwahati

Morning proceeds for half-day sightseeing of Guwahati, covering Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, Assam State Museum and Assam State Zoo & Botanical Gardens followed by visit to the State Handicraft Emporium & local market for shopping. Return back to hotel. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 15: Depart Guwahati

Arrive Guwahati

On arrival at Guwahati airport/railway station, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. In the evening visit Kamakhya Devi Temple and in the evening enjoy a sunset cruise in the mighty Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Guwahati - Kaziranga, 220 km

Today after breakfast in Guwahati we will leave for Kaziranga, the Rhinos country. The drive from Guwahati will take a minimum 05 hrs. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, we will check into a wildlife resort.

Fresh-n-up and then you can go on a guided tour of the forest near your accommodation or along the river bank. You can also visit the tea garden and rubber plantation. Later, return to the resort for overnight stay.

Get up early for a wildlife safari in Kaziranga. Our representative will take you to the riding point by jeeps. The wildlife safari is best mean for viewing wildlife as the wild animals are not afraid of the themselves and possible we can have the glance of them from the very close.

Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast, we will go for Jeep safari. Later return to the resort for fresh-n-up and spent the time till lunch. After lunch we will go on our second jeep safari of the day, this time we will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spent some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. Later return to the resort for overnight stay.

Kaziranga – Bhalukpong, 135 km

In the morning enjoy jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Later return to the hotel for freshening up. After breakfast we will leave for Bhalukpong (Arunachal Pradesh). This is the perfect place for wildlife enthusiasts, nature lovers, and even adventurers as it serves as an ideal destination for hikers, rafters and anglers. Bhalukpong, Arunachal Pradesh is a little town on the Kameng River and lies along the dense forests that form the border of the Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary. The Nyethidow festival celebrated in the month of March is a must visit occasions for the tourists to Arunachal Pradesh Bhalukpong. On arrival, check into a hotel.

Later, we will make a visit to Tippi Orchidarium and local market. Overnight stay in the hotel of Bhalukpong.

Bhalukpong – Dirang, 195 km

After breakfast drive to Dirang, bye-passing Bomdila, an ideal getaway in West Kameng district with beautiful apple orchards and sheep breeding farms. Nearby are hot-springs, where people go for holy dips, and Kalachakra Gompa. On arrival, check into a hotel for overnight stay.

Dirang – Tawang, 145 km

In the morning after breakfast drive to Tawang, en-route Sella Pass at 13,700 ft. Tawang is located at an altitude of 3500 m above the sea level and was at part of the Kingdom of Tibet during the medieval times. It was ruled by the local tribal rulers from time to time. It was declared as the off-limits area in 1873 AD. The area around Tawang was the reason of disagreement between India and China after the Independence of India in 1947. Tawang was invaded by the Chinese army in 1962 but they later withdrew.

There are various other tourist hotspots like the Beautiful Land of Monpas, the Hidden Paradise and the land of Dawn-lit Mountains. On arrival, check into a hotel for overnight stay.

This day is dedicated for hiking around Tawang, visit the famous Tawang Monastery, Penga Ten Tso (PTTso) Lake, craft centre and local market. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang – Bomdila, 185 km

In the morning drive to Bomdila that is situated at an altitude of 8000 ft. From here one can see the brilliant landscape and snow-clad mountains of the Himalayan Range.

Upon arrival, check into a hotel. Relax for some time and then we will visit the Buddhist monastery of Bomdila, which is the repository of culture and is among primary attractions of the place. Further, Bomdila is having a number of tourists attractions like apple orchards, snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Buddhist Gompas. On arrival, check into a hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Bomdila – Tezpur

Post breakfast we will drive to Tezpur, en-route visit the Orchid Center at Tipi. Tipi houses over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species like the Dainty Lady’s Slipper or Dendrobium.

Upon arrival, check into the hotel and later we will take you for a sightseeing tour of Tezpur. Also known, as ‘The City of Blood’, Tezpur is a place steeped in mythology, legend and folklore. Situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this is a town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Tezpur – Itanagar

After breakfast drive to Itanagar. It is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, also known as 'the Land of the Dawn Lit Mountains'. Nestled on top of low flat hills, amidst beautiful and booming surroundings with a pampering climate, Itanagar offers a lovely and lively atmosphere to the tourist. Remnants of an old palace and other such monuments boast of the glorious past of the city to the visitors from all around. Some historians identify Itanagar as the ancient 11th century BC capital of Mayapur, under the Jitari dynasty. Itanagar today is divided into two parts; each is 10 km apart from the other, and the older one is named Naharlagun. On arrival, check into a hotel.

Itanagar – Ziro, 140 km

After breakfast drive to Ziro. En-route visit Nishi Tribal Villages. On reaching, check into a hotel.

Ziro is the headquarter of Lower Sabansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh, located at an altitude of 1560 m. It is a plateau surrounded by Apatani Tribal Villages, Dibbo- Hija- Bulla- Hari and Hong Village. Hong is the second biggest and most organized tribal village in Asia. Further, the uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tattoo on women & men and a nose plug in women.

Ziro – Daporijo, 180 km

After breakfast, we will leave for Daporijo. It is the headquarter of upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh. Daparijo is situated at an altitude of 600 m and is an abode Tagin tribes. En-route to Daparijo, we will visit to Hillmiri tribal villages. These are the major tribes of Arunachal from mongoloid racial stock inhabiting lower and upper Sunbasiri districts. These are also called as Abotani tribes and are famous for their rich traditional knowledge relating to the use of plant products for curing a number of diseases and ailments. The people of Hillmari live in perfect harmony with nature and derive their minimum daily requirement from their natural surroundings

Continue drive to Daparijo. Open arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening go for hiking around the place visiting the Meghna Cave temple, dedicated to lord Shiva. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Daporijo.

Daporijo – Along, 160 km

Drive to Along in the morning. Located at an altitude of 300 m, it is the headquarter of West Saing district of Arunachal Pradesh. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. After freshening up, head off for an excursion around the villages and meet the inhabitants of Adi tribes. We will also visit the Kamki Hydropower Dam, Mithun and Jersey cross breeding farm. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Along – Pasighat, 120 km

Post breakfast we will leave for Pasighat. It is the headquarter of East Saing District. On the way to Pasighat, we will stop at Adi (minyong) tribal village and will interact with the people. Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

In the afternoon we will visit the Daying Ering Memorial Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary has an area of 190 sq km. 75% of the sanctuary is the alluvial grasslands and 15% is the wooded areas and rest is water. It is a series of river islands. The extraordinary ecosystem of water bodies is home to thousands of migratory birds from Siberia and Mongolia. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Pasighat – Dibrugarh

This morning we will leave for Dibrugarh via Ferry Ghat (boat point). During our river cruise, we will cross the mighty Brahamaputra River and enjoy the country made ferry. The 5 hours long ferry will take to us to Dibrugarh. The river Brahamaputra is the confluence of the Saing and Lohit river of Arunachal Pradesh. The ferry service Pasighat to Dibrugarh is a lifeline for these tribes. Upon arrival, check into a hotel for overnight stay.

In the morning, transfer to the Dibrugarh airport to board the flight for onward destination.

A Week-long trip To Tawang and Bum la including Bomdilla, Dirang, and Sangti Valley – Arunachal Pradesh

Day 1 – guwahati to dirang .

We start from the Guwahati airport in the morning and enjoy our drive through the golden fields of Assam before we start ascending the hills of Arunachal Pradesh , taking a newly built road that makes for a fantastic drive and even better views.

On our way, we stop by the beautiful Gyuto monastery and spend some time exploring it. We stop for lunch at a small Tibetan settlement en route for lunch before proceeding further ahead. We halt at a lovely little town Dirang, overlooking two mountain rivers, for the night.

Day 2 – Dirang to Tawang.

We start for Tawang today and en route stops at the Nyukmadung war memorial and pay our respect to the fallen soldiers there.

Next, we stop at the mighty Se la and soak in the gorgeous views on and around it. We visit & pay our respect at the Tawang war memorial there and then warm ourselves with piping-hot tea at the army canteen there before we resume our onward journey. We stop for a small stroll by the lovely Sela Lake if time permits and then start for our next stop, the Nuranang waterfall, the sheer grandness of which is sure to make your jaws drop.

We reach our lovely homestay in Tawang by late evening and call it a day.

Day 3 – Tawang Tour.

We start our day by visiting the largest monastery in the world, the Tawang Monastery . We explore the place at our own pace before heading to the Urgeling monastery, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama and the Ani Gompa.

In the evening, we visit the war memorial and experience the light and sound show there.

Day 4 – Penga Teng Tso, Madhuri Lake and Bumla.

We start early today to explore the beautiful lakes and valleys in the higher reaches of the region. On our way to our first stop, the Penga Teng Tso, we drive through what was once the battlefield.

The scars of the war can be seen scattered all around. From there we head to the uniquely beautiful Sungester Lake , also known as the Madhuri lake of Koyla (the Bollywood movie) fame.

Finally, we head towards the India-China border at Bum-la and spend some time at the border before starting our return journey to Tawang.

Day 5 – Tawang to Bomdila/Dirang.

We drive down to the Buddhist town of Dirang/Bomdilla today, taking the same road we took on our way up to Tawang. Only this time we will stay at a unique and special place for the night instead of staying at the same homestay (if staying in Bomdila ). By evening, we reach Bomdilla and stay in the monastery for the night(if available) or else at a lovely Monpa homestay, of course after exploring it.

If we stay at Dirang, it will probably be the same wonderful Dirang homestay of ours that will be your stay for the night.

Day 6 – Bomdila/Dirang to Gauhati.

We wake up early today so that we can explore the monastery once again, this time while the monks are busy praying.

After a hearty breakfast at the monastery, we start our return journey back to Guwahati which marks the end of this beautiful trip.

Day 1 : GUWAHATI - BOMDILA (338 KMS, 8 HRS DRIVE)

At Present It Accommodates Over 500 Monks and Houses Priceless Buddhist Texts and Scriptures. later, We Will Go On a Short Trek to Bramdungchunganigomap, Which is the Abode of Nuns and the Oldest Anigompa in Tawang. the Gompa is Situated in the Lap of a Far Off Mountain Laced with Natural Scenery and Comes Under the Administration of Tawang Monastery. in the Evening We Will Visit Urgelling Monastery, Situated 5 Km to the South of Town. It Was Here in 1683 Tsangyanggyatso, the Sixth Dalai Lama Was Born. We Will also Visit the Monpa Village. Overnight Stay At the Hotel in Tawang.

Day 5 : Tawang - Bomdila (180 Kms, 5 Hrs Drive)

Today After Breakfast We Will Drive Back to Bomdila. On the Way We Will Stop to Visit 1962 Indo-china War Memorial, Which is Dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, of the 4th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles Infantry Regiment. He Showed His Heroism By Fighting and Holding the Attack of China Back for 72 Hours all Alone. Singh Remained At His Post At An Altitude of About 10,000 Feet Before Succumbing to An Enemy Bullet During that Bloody Winter War. the Memorial is Located 25 Km Before Tawang and is Surrounded By Scenic Terrain Just Below the Sela Pass. after Visiting the War Memorial, We Will Continue Our Drive to Bomdila. En-route Enjoy the Beauty of Snow-clad Peaks Namely Kangto (7090 Mt), Nyegikangsang (7050 Mt), Gorichen (6488 Mt). upon Arrival At Bomdila, Check Into the Hotel. ARRIVE GUWAHATI

Greetings & Welcome to your tour. Arrive at Guwahati airport by 10am. On the way to hotel visit Maa Kamakhya temple. Check-in upon arrival enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon depart to enjoy a river cruise on the Brahmaputra River. The rest of the day at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Guwahati.

It is advised to reach by 10am if you wish to cover both the sightseeing's in Guwahati.

Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti worship worldwide. The temple is renowned for the annual Ambubachi Mela, a four-day festival held during the monsoon season. Inside the temple, you will find images of Lord Ganesha, Goddess Chamundi, and various dance fixtures. The temple's architecture resembles a beehive-shaped Shikhara. Additionally, there are ten Mahavidya temples dedicated to deities such as Bhuvaneshvari, Bagalamukhi, Chinnamasta, Tripura Sundari, Tara, Kali, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Matangi, and Kamala in and around the main Devi temple. Guwahati, known as 'The light of the East,' is the commercial capital of the North East, situated along the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra River.

NOTE 1.Temple doors remain open for devotees from 08:00 AM to 01:00 PM & 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 2. River cruise depends up on the availability, water level and river condition.

GUWAHATI - DIRANG     (310 Kms/8 Hrs Approx)

After breakfast, check out from hotel with your luggage and proceed to Dirang (4910 ft). On arrival check into your hotel and evening at your leisure. Dinner & Night Halt in Dirang.

DIRANG - TAWANG    (135 Kms/6 Hrs Approx)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang (10,000 ft). On the way, you will pass through the picturesque Dirang Valley, known for its monasteries, apple and kiwi orchards, sheep breeding farms, and charming valleys. Witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 13,700 ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.

Jaswant Garh War Memorial: Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place.

Sella Pass: @13700 ft, the Sella Pass is snow-covered (full or partial) all throughout the year and has breathtaking mystic views. Close to the Pass is the beautiful Sella Lake, a heart-shaped lake chiseled between the mountains, which intensifies the beauty of the region. The Lake is mostly frozen in winter. The Sela Pass is the main route to access Tawang town and is located 78 kms before reaching Tawang.

After breakfast we begin Tawang sight seeing which includes visits to Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Anti Gompa, and the Buddha Statue. Later, explore the War Memorial. In the evening, enjoy a captivating light and sound show. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang is the beautiful land of the Monpa tribes. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparalleled purity of nature.

The Tawang Monastery, also known as the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” is one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia and is the largest of its kind in India. The Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. It stands at 10,000 feet amidst the exotic Himalayan ranges and overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. The Urgelling Monastery is located 5 km from Tawang city, and is the birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, born in the 17th century. The monastery was established by the Lama Urgen Sangpo in the 15th century. Mongpa village visit will acquaint a visitor to their lifestyle, culture and traditions. The villages are located amidst exquisite beauty.

TAWANG - DAY TRIP TO BUMLA PASS

After breakfast proceed for an excursion trip to Sangestar Lake, Bum La Passand China Border (subject to permission from Indian Army). Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.

The Sangestar Lake, or more popularly known as the Madhuri Lake, is about 20 kms from Tawang, en-route to the road leading to Bum La Pass. The lake is surrounded by the majestic snow-capped mountains and a marvelous valley offering spectacular views.

The Bum La Pass is one of the four officially agreed BPM (Border Personnel Meeting) point between Indian Army and People's Liberation Army of China for regular consultations and interactions between the two armies, which helps in defusing face-offs. The other BPM points in India are - Chushul in Ladakh, Nathu La in Sikkim and Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand. Overnight in Tawang.

TAWANG - DIRANG     (200 Kms/6 Hrs Approx)

After Breakfast check out from hotel with your luggage and proceed to Dirang. Enroute visit Jung Falls and in Dirang visit the Dirang Monastery. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening free at your

leisure. Dinner & Night Halt in Dirang.

DIRANG - GUWAHATI     (365 Kms/08-09Hrs Approx)
