An outstanding historic legacy

Overflowing with local heritage, Boston is home to a selection of stunning historic buildings. The Iconic St. Botolph’s Church (known locally as the ‘Boston Stump’) towers the skyline as a commanding structure of impressive heritage, second only to Lincoln Cathedral as Lincolnshire’s outstanding historic landmarks. During the 12th century, Boston was home to one of the most important ports in England, contributing massively to the country’s international trade during medieval times. Also located a short distance from Boston is Freiston Shore , the peaceful sister site to Frampton Marsh.
