Al via l’undicesima edizione del Vertical Summer Tour , l’evento itinerante più atteso sulle spiagge italiane. Si parte da Bibione il 22-23 luglio con la novità di Bilboa come “title partner”.

Il format del Tour si conferma quello del Maxi Village , un villaggio itinerante che propone attività dalla mattina alla sera e per tutto il week end, su una superficie di 2.000 mq sulla spiaggia, con ingresso libero e gratuito .

Il Tour offrirà a tutti la possibilità di praticare sport sulla spiaggia (e in acqua) ma anche di rilassarsi tra i vari stand, sentire musica e divertirsi vivendo le tantissime esperienze ed attrazioni presenti, accompagnati dal sound estivo di Radio Deejay .

Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket Announce Summer 2024 Tour

Gin Blossoms have announced a co-headlining tour with Santa Barbara’s Toad the Wet Sprocket . Joining the alternative rock bands on tour are special guests Vertical Horizon. See the groups’ tour schedule below.

In a press statement, Gin Blossoms singer Robin Wilson said, “We have a lot of history with Toad the Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon, and it’s always fun to perform with them.” He continued, “I know our fans and theirs will enjoy the shows. I’m looking forward to an awesome summer of fine rock.”

Toad the Wet Sprocket added, “In August of 1992, we embarked on our first headlining shows where we got to pick an opening band for the whole tour. There was a tremendous amount of buzz about a band from Arizona called Gin Blossoms. A mutual friend had given us an advance copy of their first EP, Up and Crumbling , back in 1991, and we all loved it. That tour was the beginning of over 30 years of us playing shows together. There was always a spirit of friendly competition between our two bands, and also wonderful support for each other as the audience for this music continued to grow. As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our album Dulcinea , it is fitting that we mark this milestone with some of the best friends we made along the way.”

Toad the Wet Sprocket shared their latest album, Starting Now , in August 2021, and Vertical Horizon issued The Lost Mile in February 2018.

THE RETURN OF THE VERTICAL SUMMER TOUR

The ninth “summer” edition of the Vertical Summer Tour, Italy’s most famous travelling holiday village, will start on 24 July from Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). Considering also the corresponding 12 “winter” editions, this brings to 21 a very successful and successful format that, even in pandemic times and in compliance with all safety regulations, brings fun and light-heartedness to beaches all over Italy.

THE VERTICAL TOUR FORMAT

The Vertical Tour format is a large container capable of containing, in turn, other containers such as sports activities, games and entertainment through which the brand image is conveyed in an engaging and highly participatory manner. There are many advantages, and not only those linked to economies of scale, among them: For a brand, being part of the Vertical Village schedule means benefiting from a daily window of 10 hours of exposure of the target audience to an immersive and, because of this, more impactful message. A large event, capable of conveying and keeping a high number of people gathered in the same place with a high attendance time allows a considerable optimization of visibility through BTL with a low CPC. For partners, on-site presence means, having the opportunity to personally meet their audience in an atmosphere of leisure and relaxation that is favorable to promotional activities since it is disconnected from their hectic and intermittent day-to-day environment. This condition increases message’s potential for penetration: the public is more receptive and better disposed even when collecting leads. The Tour’s fleet of seven wrapped cars allows the brand to continue to be visible while on the road, taking advantage of the road trip’s visibility without any increase in cost. The big news this year is the entry of Iliad, the mobile operator that revolutionized the telephone sector, as Title Partner. As Main Partner, Bpay, the digital payment service of BANCOMAT S.p.A., the payments market leader in Italy, will be present, testifying to the continuous growth of the format and its success. Given the important results of the previous editions, and with the valuable and timely support of the local administrations, the Maxi Village offers activities from morning to evening and throughout the weekend, on an area of 1,500 square meters on the beach, with free admission. For everyone, therefore, there is an opportunity to play sports, have fun, listen to music and enjoy the experiences proposed by the Vertical Village while listening to Radio Deejay’s summer soundtrack.

THE DAY AT THE VILLAGE

It starts in the morning (from 10am to 1pm), in a more ‘family’ and peaceful context, with muscle awakening, yoga (with the ever-present sun salutation!), water aerobics and many other activities on the central stage (each resort will have one and it will be the hub of interactive activities, just like in a real tourist village) such as group dances and games with prizes provided by partners. In the afternoon (from 3pm to 7pm), the Iliad Vertical Village will be transformed into a sports citadel, while maintaining activities and attractions suitable for all ages. And, of course, there is Beach Volleyball with the tournament sponsored by Iliad, which rewards the winning teams with SIM cards, and which also enlivens the entertainment on the beach with the Rocket Race: a competition for the bravest, ready to compete in a real obstacle course until they reach the iconic Iliad rocket, which has always been typical of the operator’s communications with its innovative character and irreverent tone of voice. In addition to the Iliad SIM cards, prizes for the winners of these and other activities: beach towels, inflatable balls and beach rackets, as well as beach mats and useful smartphone holders personalized by the brand, will be distributed at the Vertical Village. Among the novelties coming up with Iliad, this year it will be possible to attend an enthralling show called The Transparency Show, which will be held on the stage of the Vertical Village and will be hosted by a performer who will perform inside a transparent sphere. Thanks to the presence of Iliad as Title Sponsor, this year it will be possible to sign up for a SIM card during all the stages of the Tour directly at the Vertical Village, via the Simbox, the now well-known Iliad SIM distributor that allows you to sign up and activate a SIM card in just a few minutes, or with Iliad Express, the channel through which you can purchase an Iliad SIM card in a practical pocket pack that can also be activated later with a personalized code. And then the fleet of 10 inflatable SUPs (stand up paddleboards, the discipline – now very popular in beach resorts – that is practiced by paddling upright on a board) with a dedicated instructor who will allow everyone to learn the basics. For the “better” ones, there is the Bpay SUP Race, a fun challenge open to people aged 16 and over (divided into three categories: men, women, under) that will see them compete in a race from the beach to the nearby buoy (and back), with final prize-giving in the evening.

New in 2021 is sparring, a mix of tennis, beach volleyball and table tennis that is the brainchild of a group of friends and tennis enthusiasts. It is often impossible to play tennis because a partner is missing. Thanks to sparring, it is possible (with the famous giant rackets) to play anywhere, even alone. Here too, there is an ever-present instructor and never-ending challenge with the Tonno Nostromo Sparring Cup. Nostromo, as Official Partner, will make everyone become a bit of a fisherman at its stand with a game testing the ability to choose the fish with the fewest calories. Whoever succeeds in the challenge will receive a free packet of Nostromo Zero, natural tuna already drained, a product particularly suitable for summer and wellness, with zero fat and gluten-free. And could the table football be missing? In a summer dominated by European Championship football, absolutely not! So here’s the chance to play table football and, why not, challenge each other with the Ricola Table Soccer Cup, while enjoying a candy or sipping a cold Ricola herbal tea, also available to everyone for free. Ricola will also be a partner in sustainability and recycling. A special area will be set up where bathers will be able to throw away the plastic produced during the day. For each bottle deposited, which will then be recycled, you will be able to pick up a dedicated gift at the Ricola stand. When the sun goes down, the fun does not end, thanks to the DJ sets offered by the personalities of the radio media partner, Radio Deejay: many guests are scheduled, from Fargetta to Rudy Zerbi, from Andrea & Michele to Gianluca Gazzoli, as well as Chicco Giuliani and the Vitiello. We cannot fail to mention Puma, technical partner for the staff’s clothing, Toyota, the car partner, and Tahe, the world leader in the production of SUPs.

Originating from Tallahassee, Florida, Creed achieved mainstream success as an American post-grunge band. Weathered, My Own Prison, and Human Clay are the band's three studio albums.

The band officially achieved mainstream success with their second album, Human Clay, in 1999 and 2000. The album's first song, Higher, held the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart record for 18 weeks, and later, With Arms Wide Open, was a huge hit. Human Clay is their most successful album, and has gone 11-times platinum. Weathered, their third and final album, was released in 2001. It topped the Billboard Top 200 for eight weeks, a record Creed shares with The Beatles. Hit singles, My Sacrifice and One Last Breath drove its breakthrough. The album is 6x platinum.

Creed split on June 4, 2004. Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, and former bassist Brian Marshall created Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy, while Scott Stapp had a solo album, The Great Divide, with Roadrunner Records artist Goneblind.

What is the sundance ziptour.

Experience Sundance Mountain Resort and the breathtaking views of Mount Timpanogos from the sky! The Sundance ZipTour is one of the most exciting and scenic ZipTours in the world, boasting over 2,100 feet of vertical drop — the most of any zip line tour in the United States. The ZipTour is a series of four zip line spans each with two cables offering a unique shared zip line experience. Guests can ride side-by-side on the ZipTour’s double cables and control their speed, cruising up to 65 miles per hour, or stopping mid-air to soak up the expansive views.

How long are the zip lines?

How much does it cost.

The price for the Sundance ZipTour is $150. The Full Moon Ziptour includes the demo and Outlaw Spans and is $75.

What are the hours of operation?

Office Hours

Open daily from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The Sundance ZipTour package will operate starting at 11:00 a.m. on Monday – Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Friday-Sunday. The Full Moon ZipTour package will operate with tours starting at 8:00 p.m.(only available on select dates through the summer). You will need to arrive 20 minutes earlier than your scheduled tour time for check in and equipment fitting. The last Sundance ZipTour leaves the Resort base at 4:00 p.m daily.

Do I need to make a reservation?

We highly recommend that your reserve your ZipTour in advance as there is limited number of space on each tour and tours can sell out on any day.  You can reserve online at www.sundanceresort.com /ziptour or by calling 844-ZIP-TOUR.  Our reservation line voicemail is always available and calls will be returned promptly during operational hours, however, a reservation is ONLY confirmed with payment by credit card, or prepaid by check or cash. All group reservations must be arranged through the ZipTour office.

How do we book?

You may book online at www.sundanceresort.com/ziptour or by calling the reservation office at 844-Zip-Tour. Guests may register and check in at The ZipTour Office 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. seven days a week. 

What time do I need to arrive?

It is required that you arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled ZipTour. As the ZipTour can be sold out on any day, it is important to arrive on time. There are no refunds if you arrive late and miss your session, or cancel within 24 hours of a scheduled tour. We will attempt to put you in to a later time slot if available but there is no guarantee. Factor in extra time for driving to Sundance Mountain Resort, parking, getting to the ZipTour Office, completing the necessary paperwork, visiting our retail store and making use of our outlets.

Is there any paperwork to fill out?

All participants must complete a Release of Liability prior to beginning the adventure. A signature from a parent/guardian is required for all participants under the age of 18.  Liability releases can be completed online as well as on most mobile devices once you arrive at Sundance Mountain Resort.

What should I wear?

The Sundance Mountain Resort ZipTour is an outdoor adventure with points high up on the mountain in an alpine environment. You may experience variable weather conditions. Wear comfortable clothing that allows free movement. 

• Shorts should reach mid-thigh or longer to allow for a comfortable fit of the safety harness.
• You may want to dress in layers if you are zipping early or later in the day.
• Shoes should be comfortable and flat soled, such as sneakers or hiking boots. No open-toed or open-back shoes are permitted.
• Be sure to hydrate before your adventure.
• Take precautions for being in the sun, such as applying sunscreen, as you will be out in the open for the entirety of the tour.
• No necklace, lanyard, or loose-fitting clothes permitted.

Are there any age, height or weight restrictions?

Participants must be at least 10 years old, weigh between 50 and 260 lbs. and be between 48” and 82” tall. (Please expect to be weighed and measured upon arrival.) Participants must also be able to walk 1/3 of a mile with a 10 lb. backpack and have no history of neck, back, or spinal injuries. Women must not be pregnant.

Can my son or daughter under 18 go through the ZipTour alone?

Guidelines are as follows:

• Ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
• ZipTour riders must be willing and able to operate the equipment on their own as each ZipTour rider will ride each line independently.
• Accompanying parent/guardian can, and in some cases will, be required to ride on the line next to the minor but will be on a separate line.
• For youth ages 10 – 17, a parent must sign a waiver which may be completed online or in person.

What do I have to carry, and for how long?

The ZipTour trolley is the primary piece of equipment you will be carrying and/or suspended from throughout the duration of the tour. The trolley weighs approximately 10 lbs.  When not in use suspending you from the zip line cable, you will carry it in a back pack specifically designed for it.  Depending on the tour, you can expect to carry/wear the backpack for 2-3 hours.  This means you will carry it from the training area to the chairlift and while you walk to and wait your turn to zip each line.

Can I bring my camera or video recorder?

Yes, you may bring your camera or video recorder. However, you may not use the equipment anytime you are suspended on a zip line with the exception of a GoPro that is mounted in a secure way that does not interfere with the zip line, trolley or harness and is hands free.

Are there storage or changing facilities?

We have lockers available for rent, they are a self-service system that accepts cash or credit cards. Exact change must be used when paying with cash.  The locker rentals are good for one full day with unlimited access. No changing room facilities are available. There are restrooms in The Lookout building near the ZipTour office that may be used.

Are there restrooms available on the tour?

Restrooms are available in The Lookout building near the Zip Tour Office at the base of the mountain. On the mountain there are three available restroom facilities:

• At Arrowhead Summit near Bearclaw Cabin there are restrooms available that use a Clivus Multrum system. • At the end of Bishop’s Span there will be a port-a-potty available to use. • There is no running water on the mountain.

Is there a guide with you on the tour?

You will receive a safety briefing and training from our ZipTour staff as you begin your adventure and you will meet your guides at each platform. You will always have the opportunity to ask questions and/or seek advice from our ZipTour staff. Please note: The guides reserve the right to remove guests from any of the courses if safety equipment and/ or procedures are not followed.

How high off the ground will we be?

While on the tour you will experience the following heights and elements:

• Zip lines 14 to 480 feet above the ground. 
• Preparing to zip while standing on platforms as high as 15 feet above the ground. 
• Zipping above, as well as within, the trees.

Can I watch if I am not participating?

As a non-participating group member, you will have a chance to watch your group complete the Demo Span and Bishop’s Span with the purchase of a $25 Scenic Lift Ride pass. You may also ride a shuttle bus to our upper parking lot to watch riders complete the final Outlaw Span.

What happens in bad weather?

Sundance’s ZipTour will not operate in weather conditions which indicate that lightning may be in close proximity, or in sustained winds in excess of 30 mph. Our ZipTour office staff will contact you if we have advanced notice of inclement weather and need to reschedule. If the weather is marginal, please call us for a status update. Do not assume we have cancelled the tour if you have bad weather where you are— we may have sunny skies!

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your reservation by calling the ZipTour Office line at 844-ZIP-TOUR. The policy reads:

• Cancellation three or more days prior to scheduled tour, may reschedule or will be issued a refund
• Failure to arrive at your scheduled tour date and time forfeits all payment.
• One complimentary reschedule if more than 24-hour notice is given. There will be a $10 rescheduling fee per person for each subsequent rescheduling.
• No refunds can be given after the tour has been rescheduled.

Please note: Your reservation is not considered canceled until you have verification from a Sundance ZipTour Office associate.

Occasionally we may need to close the ZipTour for reasons beyond our control. If you have already started the tour, we will do our best to find alternative dates or times for you and your party to visit us again. A “rain check” will be issued to be used before the end of the current season. Rain checks do not have cash value and are only valid for the adventure for which it is issued. Groups of 20 or more participants require seven days’ notice for full refund minus a 10% processing fee. Groups of 20 or more participants cancelling 6 days or less will not receive a refund and has lost all payment.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome at Sundance Mountain Resort but must be supervised and remain on a leash at all times. You must clean up after your dog while on Resort property. However, your dog cannot accompany you on the ZipTour and dogs are not permitted on the lifts. During the winter sports season, dogs are not allowed on any snow surface.

If I have a season pass is it included?

Season Pass holders will receive 20% off the ZipTour for them and 3 guests.  Reservations can only be made over the phone or in person and the current season pass must be shown at the time of check-in.

Do you have group rates?

Yes. Pricing is dependent on the group size:

• A 15% gratuity will be added to groups of 50 or more riders.

Can I participate in the ZipTour if I am pregnant or have a pre-existing medical condition?

The staff at Sundance Mountain Resort are not medically qualified and are not in a position to assess the capacity of participants with pre-existing medical conditions to ride the ziplines. It remains your responsibility to undertake such an assessment prior to taking the tour. You may wish to contact your doctor for further advice.

Individuals who are pregnant or may be pregnant should not ride the ZipTour. The harness must be adjusted snugly around the waist area, not hips, and the braking process can create a sudden and unexpected jolt to the rider if they do not slow down and stop at the designated unloading point. Persons who have recently had surgery or who suffer from chronic back/neck and/or spine problems are strongly advised to not take part in the ride. We are not medical experts and therefore suggest that you seek advice from your doctor on medical matters. If you decide to proceed, you do so with the full knowledge that the zipline tour may incur risks to an unborn child and may complicate preexisting medical conditions.

After months of iffy weather across much of the globe, summer is nearly here in North America. And, lucky for its residents, many standout artists are looking to take advantage of the sunshine with some live tours.

Alanis Morissette

One of Canada's most well-known musical exports is hitting the road again. Alanis Morissette will navigate venues across the United States during her "Triple Moon Tour," which will feature 33 dates running from June to August. Morissette will not go it alone, though, as she will be accompanied on stage by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts alongside singer Morgan Wade. Morissette released her tenth LP in 2022, but the "Triple Moon Tour" will mostly be in tribute to the 25th anniversary of her fourth studio album, "Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie," which was released to critical acclaim in 1998. 

While "Family Guy" may have once described him as "just some guy with a hat," singer Jason Mraz is the recipient of two Grammy Awards and remains one of the most popular guitarists and singers of the last decade. Beginning in June, Mraz will venture on his "Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride Summer 2024," with shows in more than 25 locations in the United States and Canada through August. The artist behind the hit single "I'm Yours" named his upcoming tour after his 2023 LP of the same name, his eighth studio album overall and his first in three years.

Chicago/Earth, Wind & Fire

Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire , two of the most popular bands of the 1970s, are combining for a mega-concert journey, the "Heart & Soul Tour," from July to September. Each leg of the tour will feature the "timeless music of Chicago and the iconic catalog of Earth, Wind & Fire," according to the band's website , and will "culminate in an encore performance with both bands on stage together." This timeless music will likely feature hits from both groups, including iconic soul soundtracks like "September" and "Shining Star" from Earth Wind & Fire, and rock ballads like "You're the Inspiration" from Chicago. Combined, both groups have won 11 Grammy Awards and sold more than 200 million albums. 

Melissa Etheridge/Jewel

Singer Melissa Etheridge has won dozens of accolades and played thousands of venues over her decades-long career, and now she is getting ready to head back on the road. She is teaming with singer Jewel to launch the duo's summer 2024 tour . The tour covers the majority of the summer and runs from July to the beginning of October, with locations throughout the United States and Canada. Etheridge, perhaps best known for her 1993 single "Come to My Window," last released a studio album in 2021, but does not appear anywhere near the end of her journey. 

Mannequin Pussy 

Philly's punk rock icons are returning to the stage with a new tour. Mannequin Pussy will be embarking on their "I Got Heaven Tour" throughout July and August; the group will begin with shows in the U.K. and Europe before heading home to the United States and Canada, where they will play a series of shows before crisscrossing back to Europe again. Mannequin Pussy's music is "built on big emotions and inside jokes," said The New York Times , and the group is touring to promote their most recent studio album and fourth LP, "I Got Heaven," which was released earlier this year. 

Foo Fighters

Dave Grohl and his band the Foo Fighters will be traveling down a sonic highway when they embark on their "Everything or Nothing at All Tour" in July and August. The tour comes a year after the group released their 11th LP, "But Here We Are," dedicated to both Grohl's mother Virginia and deceased band member Taylor Hawkins . The Foo Fighters will be playing shows in Manchester, Glasgow, London and other cities in the United Kingdom before playing a series of concerts in the United States. Once in America, the group, which was born out of the iconic 1990s grunge band Nirvana, will play 14 shows in 11 different cities.

Undoubtedly one of the most unique bands on this list, the psychedelic rock group Phish has formed one of the most loyal followings in music over a 40-year career (Drew Carey "talked to God" after seeing them, the television host said on X ). Now, Phish will grace the stage again with their summer 2024 tour in the United States, which will run from July to the beginning of September and will coincide with the release of their 16th LP, "Evolve," set to drop on July 12. This will mark the group's first official studio album in four years, though they did release a 2022 album under a different name. 

Green Day released their 14th studio album, "Saviors," earlier this year, and they are not wasting any time promoting it. The punk rock icons are venturing on a concert tour of the same name from July 19 to Sept. 28. The band will play their popular LPs "Dookie" and "American Idiot" in their entirety, and it is very much a global endeavor: Green Day will play venues in Spain, France, Germany, the U.K., Austria and more before crossing the pond to play shows across the United States and Canada. The band is keeping busy now, as they recently headlined a UN-backed climate concert in San Francisco. 

Kings of Leon

Many of the biggest names touring this summer are rock bands, and Kings of Leon are no exception. The Nashville-based group will head out on a summer 2024 tour from August to mid-October, beginning in European destinations such as the U.K., Austria, Ireland and France before playing 27 cities in the United States and Canada. The tour will be supporting Kings of Leon's ninth studio album, "Can We Please Have Fun," which was released this past February. Notably, this is the band's first album to not be released via their original recording label, RCA. 

You can usher in the end of the summer on a high note by seeing one of the most notable R&B singers of all time, as Usher is embarking on his "Past Present Future" tour beginning at the end of August. The singer is riding high after a notable performance in February at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, the city where Usher also held multiple residencies totaling 100 shows. Usher will tour cities throughout the United States on his concert venture and is planning on touring Europe throughout 2025. His ninth LP, "Coming Home," was released to coincide with his Super Bowl performance.

'Heartsick' Jennifer Lopez cancels upcoming summer tour to spend time with family

• Jennifer Lopez has called off her upcoming 30-date US & Canada tour.
• "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," Lopez wrote.
• Last week, the star shut down a question about the status of her marriage to Ben Affleck.

Jennifer Lopez has announced her decision to cancel her upcoming North American tour to spend more time with her family, telling her fans she is "devastated" about letting them down.

The singer and actor was due to kick off her first tour in five years in Orlando on June 26 before hitting up several other US and Canadian cities and ending on August 31 in Houston.

On Friday, a representative from events promoter Live Nation announced that the tour was canceled, sharing a statement to Billboard that read: "Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

They added that those who bought seats via Ticketmaster would receive refunds automatically, while those who went through third-party resale sites would need to contact their points of purchase for more details.

The 54-year-old also told fans about the cancellation in her newsletter, "OnTheJLo."

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," it read.

"Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary.

Lopez announced the tour in February. It was originally conceived as the "This is Me… Now: The Tour," seemingly to accompany her 10th studio album and Prime Video movie of the same name.

As Variety noted, by April, the tour had been rebranded to "This Is Me... Live: The Greatest Hits." The outlet theorized that this was due to low ticket sales and an attempt to entice fans of Lopez's entire discography rather than her latest material.

However, Entertainment Weekly reported that it understood that Lopez "made no changes to the planned setlist or the content of the show itself and that the tour was always intended to be a celebration of Lopez's career."

The cancellation of the tour comes as reporters have begun asking questions about Lopez's personal life.

Last week, she shut down a question about the status of her marriage to Hollywood star Ben Affleck while promoting her movie "Atlas" in Mexico City.

As seen in a video shared on X by Glamour México y Latinoamérica, she was asked by someone during a question-and-answer session: "Your divorce with Ben Affleck is real? What is the truth?"

Lopez's costar, Simu Liu, intervened, responding: "OK, we're not doing that."

Lopez then added: "You know better than that."

Lopez and Affleck married in June 2022 after rekindling their romance almost two decades after they broke up and called off their 2003 wedding.

The couple were seen together this week attending Affleck's daughter Violet's graduation ceremony, People reported.

Lopez had quietly canceled seven dates in March for the struggling tour, her first in five years, which has been plagued by low ticket sales. Keanu Reeves' band Dogstar announces summer 2024 tour for their first album in 20 years

Keanu Reeves and his band Dogstar are going back on the road.

Following the group's first performance in 20 years last summer, Dogstar announced Tuesday that its members are embarking on the Summer Vacation Tour 2024 across North America.

"We can’t wait to see everyone! Thank you all for all the love and support," drummer Rob Mailhouse commented under the band's Instagram post. "We can feel it every time we take the stage. ❤️"

Dogstar, currently on tour in Europe, will be visiting 29 cities starting with the Indiana State Fair on Aug. 8. Their last show is Dana Point, California's Ohana Fest on Sept. 27.

The pre-sale begins Wednesday at noon local time; tickets can be found at dogstarofficial.com .

Last October, Dogstar — which comprises Reeves, Mailhouse and guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose — came out with its first album in two decades, a 12-track record titled "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees." It was released by their own label, Dillon Street Records and featured their single "Everything Turns Around."

The "John Wick" star, the alt-rock band's bassist, formed the band with Mailhouse and the group's original guitarist and lead singer Gregg Miller in 1991.

Before ending their 20-year hiatus with a performance at BottleRock Napa Valley music festival in northern California last May, Reeves told  Billboard  that being with Dogstar was "something I’ve always missed."

"I missed playing together, I missed writing together, I missed doing shows together," he said. At the Napa Valley festival, the band played tracks from the previous albums, 1996’s "Our Little Visionary" and 2000’s "Happy Ending," as well as several songs from their yet-unreleased "Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees."

Three months later, Dogstar went on to tour two dozen cities in North America and Japan in its Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour.

It’s a love story at the Eras Tour!

Taylor Swift sweetly congratulated a couple after she witnessed them get engaged during her combined “Folklore” and “Evermore” set at her Eras Tour show in Edinburgh, Scotland, Friday night.

“I love performing this entire show in the sunlight ’cause I’m pretty sure I just, like, saw somebody get engaged over here,” the pop star told the crowd at Murrayfield Stadium in a clip shared on Threads .

Once fans confirmed the exciting news, the “Karma” hitmaker, 34, pumped both her arms in the air and screamed, “Yes!”

“Congratulations, wow!” she enthusiastically added. “I just saw that whole thing. Man, that’s amazing … Thanks for doing that at my concert; that’s a big moment!”

Friday night’s concert marked the first of three shows Swift has scheduled in Scotland .

She then tours the rest of the UK, hitting Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin before venturing elsewhere in Europe.

The milestone moment for Swift’s Scottish fans comes as engagement rumors continue to swirl around the Grammy winner herself and her NFL star beau, Travis Kelce.

Earlier this year, a person close to the famous couple told Page Six that Swift and Kelce have “discussed” taking the next step in their relationship and that “there is a plan.”

“They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July,” the source further claimed.
