My Wife and Children really loved the visit to Olympic Tower, St. Joseph's Oratory, Quebec Historic District, Louis Gate, Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Saint Lawrence River and Ausable River. All the Arrangements made were great. Everyone must take this tour with family.

The tour guide made sure to answer all questions, act as a photographer for all of us, and personalize the tour based on our questions and interactions. Although it seems quick it\'s 3 days and 2 nights of pure enjoyment.

What to know about the bus trip from NYC to Montreal

Choose the best bus company for your trip: you can travel this route with Greyhound, Trailways, or Flixbus. Each company offers its own advantages and amenities, so it's always a good idea to compare options and prices to find the best fit for your preferences and budget.

Consider the amenities: the three companies offer comfortable amenities such as WiFi, power outlets, restrooms, and reclining seats. Although Trailways is known for providing excellent customer service, more comfortable seats, and being on schedule, Greyhound tickets are often cheaper and it's easier to find schedules that fit your preferences.

Consider border processing and essential paperwork: Keep in mind that this route goes through an international border, so travel times could vary based on processing wait times at the border control. This also means you must have all the essential paperwork with you, such as a valid passport and valid visa to enter Canada.

Convenient bus stations in New York: The main bus station for both Greyhound and Trailways buses departing from NYC to Montreal is the Port Authority Bus Terminal, located near Times Square in midtown Manhattan. The station has plenty of amenities, including WiFi, ATMs, a food court, and luggage storage services. Plus, it's conveniently located near public transportation. Greyhound buses also depart from the GW Bridge station, which has fewer amenities but may be a better option if you're in that part of town. If you're coming from Queens, the Greyhound bus departure point at Queens Village station might be a good starting place for your journey. You can also find other bus stops around the city with less frequent departures.

Central bus station in Montreal: The central bus station for both Greyhound and Trailways in Montreal is the Gare d'autocars de Montreal. It is situated between Berri-UQAM and Sherbrooke metro stations downtown. Both departing and arriving buses for the NYC to Montreal route use this station. The station is modern and well-equipped, with amenities such as WiFi, ATMs, a food court, and a luggage storage service. It's also easy to access via public transportation.

Enjoy beautiful landscapes: One of the best parts about taking the bus from NYC to Canada is enjoying beautiful landscapes that you would otherwise miss if flying. Just outside of NYC, you'll pass through quaint towns and sprawling farmland in upstate New York. With the Adirondack mountains on the horizon, you travel through cities like Albany and Glens Falls and, along the way, you’ll be treated to a different scenic view depending on what time of year it is. Once you enter Montreal, you'll be greeted by the famous Jacques-Cartier Bridge and the St. Lawrence River, before arriving in Montreal's bustling downtown area. Taking the bus allows you to appreciate these sights at a slower pace and truly immerse yourself in the journey.

Reviews background

I highly recommend Tourika; the trip was very well organized, the customer service was impeccable, the hotel "Home2 Suites By Hilton" was great. But most of all, the driver Ali was a real gem. He made all the difference on this trip! And the guide Nicolas was just as exceptional. Thank you Tourika :)

We just returned last night from a 2-night/3-day stay in New York (Manhattan) with Tourika in the prestige package. It was simply magical! The guide, Normand, is super friendly, funny, patient and knows the city so well. He had lots of anecdotes to tell us too! We really enjoyed his company. The driver, too, Ali, was super nice, punctual and quite a driver; we were impressed to see him go with ease through the sometimes narrow and rather crowded streets of New York. The hotel in New Jersey was very good; clean, comfortable and the breakfast included is good and varied. The tour is very complete and well organized. The activities are relevant and we had several free times as well. I highly recommend 😊👌!

He knows it inside out and always has good advice for the group he's with. The pre-trip chat is efficient and the answers are quick. I recommend Tourika for their professionalism.

I went to New York with my son for the Easter weekend via Tourika tours. I gave a 5-star rating, but if I could give more, I would thanks to our guide Denis. We couldn't have asked for more. Not only did he know the itinerary well, he was very accommodating to everyone's needs and made sure we were all safe throughout the weekend. We got our money's worth with all the excursions included. I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip with them.
