Journeys carries a lot of the latest and greatest footwear and accessories. I appreciate how bright and organized Journeys stores are, and this 5th Ave Mall location is no different. Most employees we've encountered have been helpful. During our most recent visit, my spouse was able to find the Murse he wanted. Great place to get trendy children/baby shoes as well.
I'd definitely say the little spanish girl was very nice !!! and spoke mexican to others spanish people. Kudos !
I haven't set foot in here for years after the way I was poorly treated (and cussed at) by an associate with an attitude problem at another location. I finally went back for some shoes I knew they had... or at least the website and the associate I talked to on the phone said they had plenty in my size. When I got their I was told they never got any shipment of the shoe I wanted and tried to get me to buy something very different. I asked if they could order one from another store and was told they had absolutely no way to look at other stores inventory or any way to order it. I pointed out the fact that they used to, that was usually how I shopped before I stopped going there. They said there is a way but only managers could do it and they could get fired for it. When I asked if they had a manager there they said the manager already left for the day and had the next few days off. I called the customer service number and they said everyone has the ability to view other stores inventory and order from them. So I went back and talked to them again. They told me that the person I talked to was misinformed and said not all stores work that way, then said they don't even ship to Alaska. I called customer service back, they asked to speak to the employee, then after speaking to them and walking them through the steps the person went to the back and came out with a manager. I guess they just didn't know how and would rather lose customers than learn.

Cat who was 4 times average size steals hearts with weight loss journey
OTTAWA, Ontario (CTV News) - A Canadian cat has become a TikTok star as he works to slim down from weighing 43 pounds.
When Kristine Seguin, the director of the Ferdinand and Friends Animal Rescue Network, rescued a cat named Axel Biggie Smalls, she put him on a diet and exercise plan.
“He was 43 pounds when we took him in, so he was four times the size of the average cat,” Seguin said.
Seguin and her family are now sharing Axel’s weight loss journey on TikTok . He has lost 10 pounds since February, which Seguin says is “incredible.”
“Our goal is not only weight loss but being a cat: getting to jump on things, getting to enjoy things. I mean, he’s only 7 years old. He still has a lot of time left in his life, and we want to make sure he gets to enjoy that,” Seguin said.
Axel clearly loves food. While he’s been shedding the pounds, he does occasionally get “hangry,” like anyone on a diet.
“That’s when he claws at you. Sometimes he’ll try and steal food from other cats, so we’ve had to really be creative about where we feed the other cats in the house,” Seguin said.
While it’s not clear how Axel got so big, his owners say the cat was probably fed human food.
“We didn’t get much backstory, but when I’m cooking pizza, anything with cheese, he’s begging. He’s clawing at me. So, I’m assuming he got human food because he wouldn’t really eat cat food when he came,” Seguin said.
Seguin and her family hope to raise awareness about pet obesity through their TikTok videos. They also want to raise funds for the rescue Axel came from.
“I’ve fostered hundreds of cats, and he’s just like a toddler. He’s one of mine now, so he’s part of our family,” Seguin said.
The hope is for Axel to lose another 10 to 15 pounds over the next year.
