Wow, it’s hard to give advice for the entire USA. It’s so diverse. I would say wherever you go – think of it as having its own culture and be ready to dive in and experience it, like one of my favorite places, Hawaii!

Always bring extra memory cards and batteries for your camera. It’s been my experience that you can never take enough picture of places like the National Parks or the New York skyline.

With such a diverse climate from Alaska to Arizona and New York to San Francisco, there’s really never a bad time to travel through the U.S. You can always find something amazing.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a large-scale mountain sculpture by artist Gutzon Borglum. The figures of America's most prominent U.S. presidents - George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln  and Theodore Roosevelt - represent 150 years of American history.

The Memorial is located in the Black Hills of South Dakota . The name “Black Hills” comes from the Lakota words Paha Sapa, which mean “hills that are black”. Native Americans came to the Black Hills to seek visions and to purify themselves. Paha Sapa was considered a sanctuary and was a peaceful meeting ground for tribes at war. Exploration of the Black Hills by fur traders and trappers occurred in the 1840s. In 1874, General Custer led an Army exploration into the area and discovered gold. When word got out of the discovery of gold in the Black Hills, settlers soon followed.

The romance of Route 66 continues to captivate people around the world. Running between Chicago and Los Angeles , “over two thousand miles all the way” in the words of the popular R&B anthem, this legendary old road passes through the heart of the United States on a diagonal trip that takes in some of the country’s most archetypal roadside scenes.

If you’re looking for great displays of neon signs, rusty middle-of-nowhere truck stops, or kitschy Americana, do as the song says and “get your kicks on Route 66.”

Located in the heart of the Black Hills of western South Dakota, Crazy Horse Memorial is the world's largest mountain carving in progress.

When completed, the depiction of the great Lakota warrior will be 641 feet long and 563 feet high. The purpose of the project is to protect and preserve the culture and living heritage of all North American Indians.

It’s no surprise that Chicago is one of the most interesting tourist destinations in the USA - with miles of beaches, world-class museums, and some of the friendliest city-dwellers out there.

There are plenty of things to do in Chicago, including tours, spectator sports, shopping and other attractions. The nightlife doesn't stop either with plenty of bars and nightclubs, live music and comedy clubs.

Niagara Falls  is one of the world’s most stunning Natural wonders.

The 7-day Southwest Highlights tour was amazing! Alex and Amber were terrific guides that helped to give us options to make the most of our time at each tour stop. They also took care of setting up camp most days and prepared great meals throughout the trip. The trip was well organized, and we stopped often during the drive. I recommend this tour to people who want an active vacation, checking a number of National Parks off their list, but don't want to do all of the research needed to make it happen.

Most Amazing Family Vacation Ever! The 7-day private tour of the Southwest National Parks (hotel version) Hard to put into words but this was the perfect way for our family to experience the dramatic sites and cultural experiences of the southwest National Parks! We had the most amazing tour guide (Thanks Marie!) and the agenda was the right balance of keeping us engaged while covering so much ground. Each National Park had its own unique and wonderful qualities and this 7-day tour gave us just enough time to soak up the natural beauty. Also, there are hikes and tours for all ages (we let the boys take on the more difficult hikes while Mom and Dad took the more accessible routes. The pick up and drop off in Las Vegas was very convenient and allowed us just enough time to enjoy a few nights in Las Vegas. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Person struck by Holiday World bus overnight in Warrick County

TENNYSON, Ind. (WFIE) - One person had to be treated for injuries after an accident involving a Holiday World bus Thursday night.

According to officials, the incident happened near Tennyson in Warrick County.

We reached out to Sheriff Mike Wilder and he tells us a Holiday World bus his a bicyclist.

Officials say the bicycle rider was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Holiday World sent us a statement:

“During a routine evening route, a Holiday World Transportation Bus collided with a bicyclist riding on State Road 62 in Boonville. All Holiday World Team Members are okay. Holiday World Transportation Drivers are all licensed Class B CDL drivers and have additional safety training.”
