• After successfully completing the pre-sea training course, the candidate must sail for a minimum of 18 months before applying for officer COC evaluations and exams.

Pre Sea Training - Engine Rating

• The training course is intended for those who want to pursue careers as Marine Engineers or Engine Officers in the merchant marine industry.
• Participants will be able to independently and collaboratively oversee maintenance tasks in the engine room and on board a ship while at sea after completing this course.
• After successfully completing the pre-sea training course, the candidate must sail for a minimum of 12 months in order to be eligible for the Engineer COC assessments/examinations.
