Une fois votre forfait tout inclus réservé auprès de Voyages Bergeron, vous recevez d’abord un courriel de confirmation. Que vous réserviez vous-même en ligne, par l’entremise de votre conseiller en voyage au téléphone ou en agence, ce courriel est envoyé lorsque votre réservation est complétée électroniquement. Il confirme votre achat et résume votre forfait. Il ne constitue un document officiel ni pour le transporteur aérien, ni pour l’hôtel. C’est l’occasion pour vous de revalider les informations.

Plus ou moins 3 jours après votre réservation, votre facture vous est envoyée. La facture est le document officiel qui confirme votre achat, mais encore une fois, ne sert pas de document de voyage.

Entre 21 et 14 jours avant votre départ, vous recevrez vos véritables documents de voyage par courriel!

Quelques petits rappels:  

– Un seul document vous est envoyé. Il est valide pour l’aller et le retour.   – Personne ne conserve vos documents (ni aux aéroports, ni à l’hôtel). Vous pouvez en imprimer plus d’une copie par précaution, mais voyager avec une seule copie ne serait pas dramatique!   -Il est IMPÉRATIF de les avoir en main pour votre enregistrement à l’hôtel.

Chez Vacances Air Canada, Vacances Westjet, Vacances Transat et Caribe Sol, les documents de voyage sont présentés de façon similaire.  

-On retrouve un billet d’avion par personne (1 pour l’aller/retour). -On retrouve un bon d’hébergement par chambre.

Quelques précisions:  

Vacances Air Canada ajoute une section concernant des taxes aéroportuaires. Bon nombre de passagers se demandent si ce montant est à payer en plus du forfait. Je vous confirme que non. Air Canada rend accessible l’information concernant les taxes déjà payées sur les documents de voyage tout simplement.

Vacances Transat a attribué l’appellation : Accommodations au bon d’hébergement.

Vacances Sunquest fournit un billet d’avion par personne, un bon d’hébergement par chambre et un bon d’échange pour les tranferts par personne.

Vacances Sunwing/Signature fait les choses différemment. Il n’y a qu’un seul document pour tous les voyageurs d’une même réservation.

Caribe Sol reprendra ses opérations dès novembre!

6 octobre 2021 – Avec l’assouplissement des mesures d’entrée à Cuba Caribe Sol est heureuse d’annoncer la  reprise de ses opérations vers Cuba à compter du mois novembre.  

Caribe Sol offrira des vols et forfaits vers les destinations les plus populaires de Cuba dont  Holguin avec les destinations de Santa Lucia et Santiago desservies à partir de l’aéroport de Holguin avec transferts terrestre aller et retour. Santa Clara pour les hôtels de Cayo Santa  Maria, Cienfuegos et Trinidad. Varadero avec transferts pour les hôtels de La Havane et les  séjours combinés La Havane et Varadero ainsi que Cayo Coco pour les forfaits vers Cayo Coco,  Cayo Guillermo et Cayo Cruz. Les vols de novembre à janvier s’effectueront sur les ailes d’Air  Transat tandis que les vols avec OWG débuteront à la fin du mois de janvier.  

La brochure électronique 2020/2021 est toujours disponible pour consultation sur le site  Internet de Caribe Sol , les mêmes produits seront commercialisés en 2022. Il est également possible de se procurer des copies imprimées en faisant la demande au: [email protected]

If you are planning a trip to Cuba , here is some important information :

This island nation of the Greater Antilles archipelago is situated between the Caribbean Sea to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. It is south of Florida, east of Mexico, west of Haiti and north of Jamaica.

Tropical. Dry season from November to March, and rainy season from April to October. Hurricane season mid-May to November. Average annual temperature: 25 ◦C.

Up to 6 months for Canadian travellers. Request for extension must be made at a tourist office or immigration authority before the 90 th day following your arrival in Cuba.

The convertible peso (CUC) is the currency used by foreigners.

Locals use the Cuban national peso or moneda naciona (CUP), whose value is less than the CUC: 1 CUC = 25 CUP.

You cannot obtain Cuban currency outside of Cuba.

It is better to convert Canadian currency to Cuban currency, since there is a 10% surcharge applied to convert American dollars to CUCs.

Converting currency can be done at hotels, airports, in urban areas and of course banks.

Normally open from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Cash advance on a credit card is not possible.

All prices are shown in convertible pesos: CUC. It is not easy to use a credit or debit card when out-and-about on the island, and automatic teller machines are rare. However, VISA credit cards and VISA debit cards from Canadian banks are accepted in most hotels and commercial centers run by the Cuban government.

Telecommunication

A telephone network provides service inside and outside the country, and many hotels have Internet connection and access to WiFi, however access to these services is not free. You can purchase calling cards and Internet access in hotels and from local phone companies.

Your Canadian passport must be valid for at least one month after departure date from Cuba.

Tourist Card/Visa

A visa, known as a ‘tourist card’, is required for entering Cuba. The airline company will give you one at the airport or on the aircraft.

Other Entry Requirements

You must have valid health insurance covering your entire stay in Cuba.

Departure Tax

A tax of 25 CUCs per person must be paid to leave the country. This tax may be included in the price of your airline ticket or travel package.

You can get around by bus, taxi, coco taxi, scooter rental, car rental, bicycle, private transportation and excursions through your on-site representative.

Be careful when you rent a car or scooter. If you are responsible for an accident, Cuban authorities have the right to stop you from leaving the country until you have paid damages plus interest, or, if a trial is required, until the end of your trial.
