Everything we know about Ariana Grande's Eternal Sunshine Tour tickets, prices, presale, dates and setlist so far.

Listen to this article

I'm so into the idea of seeing Ariana Grande do an Eternal Sunshine tour this year, I can barely breathe...but is it happening?

Last time Ariana Grande released an album, it was the pandemic and she told Zach Sang that she had no interest in touring Positions until it was safe to do so. She said that she didn't want to put her fans in any danger. Ariana also teased that she liked touring Sweetener and Thank U, Next together and likely wouldn't do another tour until she had another album out.

Fast forward to 2024 and the Eternal Sunshine era is officially in full swing. Is Ariana Grande going on tour this year though? If she is, what are the tour dates, locations, ticket prices and presale codes? Here's what Ariana has said about it so far.

When is Ariana Grande going on tour?

Ariana Grande Tour 2024: Tickets, prices, presale, dates, setlist and everything we know

Will there be an Eternal Sunshine tour?

Talking to Zach Sang about a potential Eternal Sunshine tour in February 2024, Ariana said: "I would love to do shows. I love being on stage. I miss being on stage. I miss my fans so much. That's the honest to god truth."

However, Ariana then admitted that she struggled with touring in 2019. She said: "I had a really hard time emotionally on my last tour but I think that's because of where I was at. Just like with music, I'm really excited to redefine my relationship to shows when I'm ready and to see what that looks like."

As for if there's time in 2024, Ariana added: "I do have a very busy year with this [album] and with Wicked , and then next year I also have Wicked Part Two . I'm interested to see what that would look like. It would obviously be shorter if it were anything it would be a littler something."

Ariana ended by saying: "I definitely do have the itch. But then again, I’m not ready to announce any sort of thing, or get people too excited because I don’t want to disappoint."

With this in mind, it appears that no tour is currently set in stone. However, Ariana may still do a small run of shows so bookmark this page for updates.

Ariana Grande tour presale codes: How to find a presale code for your country

As it stands, Ariana has said nothing official about a tour so far. A couple of fan tweets have gone viral suggesting that there is a tour presale access code in her website coding but these all appear to be fake with fans simply using it as a way to encourage people to preorder Ariana's album. Nevertheless, if a tour happens, there will likely be a presale.

If Ariana follows in the footsteps of artists like Beyoncé , Taylor Swift and Harry Styles , she will probably have a Citi Verified Fan Presale in the US and an O2 Priority Presale in the UK. There may also be separate Live Nation and fan presales.

If Ariana does announce a tour, it would be wise to sign up to her mailing list to get any presale information as soon as it becomes available.

Ariana Grande tour ticket prices: How much will the tickets be?

Prices for an Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine tour will likely depend on what kind of venues she performs in. Tickets for her last arena tour cost between $35 and $225. Based on her telling Zach Sang, she'd like to do something smaller, there's a chance that venues will be smaller and tickets will be more expensive.

Eternal Sunshine Tour dates: When is Ariana Grande going on tour in 2024?

Again, there's no news yet on whether Ariana is touring this year so no dates are currently available. If she does tour in any capacity it will have to take place before official promotion for Wicked starts. Wicked comes out in cinemas worldwide on November 27th. Taking this into consideration, any tour would likely wrap before November.

Ariana Grande tour locations: What cities will Ariana Grande play in?

While I think we would all like an Eternal Sunshine world tour, Ariana's Zach comments suggest that whatever she does for Eternal Sunshine will be on a much smaller scale than Sweetener.

With this in mind, it's unlikely that there will be shows outside of the US but she could have a livestream or filmed show planned.

Eternal Sunshine Tour dates: When is Ariana Grande going on tour in 2024?

Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine tour setlist: What songs will she play?

Without any tour announcements, there's no knowing what songs Ariana Grande would perform on an Eternal Sunshine tour at the moment. Nevertheless, Ariana tends to heavily feature her recent projects in live shows, so expect lots of songs from Eternal Sunshine and Positions to feature alongside her biggest hits.

If Ariana does one-off Eternal Sunshine shows, it's also possible that she will opt to perform the album in full instead of a more traditional setlist.

Launching her artistic career with performances on Broadway and childhood acting, Ariana Grande has earned her place as an accoladed pop star with numerous number-one albums. Born in 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida, Grande rose to fame young and continues to deliver chart-topping hits.

Praised for just about every facet of Grande’s artistry, be it her personality, her presentation, or most of all, her incredible voice, Ariana Grande has earned multiple American Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

As a young girl, Grande wanted nothing more than to record an R&B album, but her journey would first include numerous roles on stage. One of her first breaks into the music scene was in a supporting role in the Broadway musical 13. This role earned Ariana the National Youth Theater Association Award for Best Supporting Actress.

From here, Grande’s career continued to blossom. She landed a role on Nickelodeon’s Victorious, her first big break that made her a household name across America. Ariana worked on the show for three seasons, starring as Cat Valentine, a goofy but loveable aspiring singer-actress. When Victorious ended, Grande went on to star in the spin-off Sam & Cat.

During all her early television fame, Grande continued to pursue her musical dreams. As she acted, she also worked on her debut album while training with vocal coach Eric Vetro, who had also worked with Katy Perry.

Grande completed her debut album, Yours Truly, in June 2013. When she released it in the U.S. on August 30th, it debuted at number one. This made Grande the 15th female artist to have her debut album top the charts. From this album, Grande gained incredible accolades, with critics comparing her vocal range to that of Mariah Carey. The album’s lead single, “The Way,” quickly became a top hit, increasing the popularity of the young artist.

The success kept building from there as she was named one of Billboard's hottest acts under 21. At this time, Ariana went on tour with Justin Bieber on the Believe Tour.

Grande managed to fit in a couple of performances at the White House before releasing My Everything in August 2014. With the release of her second album, Grande’s popularity rose to a whole new level. Seen as a sign of her maturation, My Everything spawned worldwide super-hits like “Problem” (featuring Iggy Azalea) and “Bang Bang” (with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J). Grande would spend 34 weeks with hit singles in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

In the following year, Grande headed out on her first world tour — the Honeymoon Tour. Ariana used this tour to promote My Everything while continuing to pursue her next album release.

In 2016, Ariana dropped a third studio album, Dangerous Woman. Once again, the album was an instant success, with the title track debuting at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. This earned Ariana the unique position of being the first person in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart to have lead singles from their first three albums launch within the top ten spots.

Two years later, after touring, Grande released her fourth album, Sweetener. This album would go on to win the Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy in February 2019. Immediately after, she began her Sweetener Tour, her longest global tour yet with over 100 shows.

In 2019, Grande released Thank, U, Next, followed by her 2020 studio album Positions. Both albums were smash hits, and were certified Platinum by the RIAA. Since the release of Positions, Grande has also collaborated with other top performers on a string of chart-topping singles, including “34+35” (with Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion), “Save Your Tears” (with The Weeknd), and “Just Look Up” (with Kid Cudi).

My sister really loves Ariana Grande and one day I had some extra money so I surprised her with tickets to a live show. She is a popular singer and my sister really loves her but I was pretty skeptical,I really wanted to do something nice for my sister though so I went anyways.

When she introduced herself at the start of the concert she had a really heartwarming voice and just seemed like such a nice person. The crowd got all quiet when she started singing and there was an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation in the air. She started singing and her voice was hauntingly beautiful, all my skepticism evaporated in a wave and I found myself hanging on her every word, especially during "Almost is Never Enough" and "Honeymoon Avenue".

The lyrics of her music were incredibly well crafted and her voice was perfect for them. I felt like I was experiencing something unique and was very glad to have come. Ariana looked amazing in her dress and just seemed really classy overall,it made it really easy to respect her as a singer. The crowd just remained quiet throughout and everyone was watching with respectful interest. My sister had a fantastic time and overall I had a much better time than I thought I would too and was glad I went.

I went to Ariana Grande's concert in San Jose at the SAP Center, and it was one of the best concerts I've been to. I went with my mom, aunt, and cousin, and we all had a great time! Ariana threw a great concert! Her two opening artists were both great and built up the excitement in the crowd. Cashmere Cat might not be for all, but Rixton had a very great set and interacted with the audience. When Ariana came on stage, I could feel the excitement throughout the whole arena and Ariana's voice was phenomenal! I could tell that she was not lip-syncing or using auto tune and she was very energetic throughout the show. She had many costume changes as well as changing the stage, and she even came in on a cloud and chandelier. Her closing song was Problem and I could tell that she totally enjoyed singing for all her fans.

Overall, I would most definitely go to another one of her concerts! Her presence was powerful and her singing was spectacular, and it was all around a great show! Honestly, this show is more for younger girls/boys and teens but I saw a lot of moms and dads enjoying themselves at this concert. The screaming is loud and merchandise is a bit pricey, but it is totally worth it. Thanks for the great show Ari!

I am so disappointed .

I tried to send this message lastnight. But never seem to be able to contact the ticket company.

I paid a lot of money for these tickets , paid airplane tickets & hotel to go to this concert with my young daughter for a birthday present.

I have found it extremely difficult to actually get my tickets in hand , have made many phone calls to ticket master, chasing around to agents in ibiza to try get them printed ana ALL with no luck.

And they were not sent to me.

We have arrived here to pick up the tickets at office at Palau San Jordi and have been told that my tickets cannot be printed . I have paid €330 for these , plus all the other expenses ana cannot enter ! It's ridiculous. You had more than half a year to get my tickets to me and yet failed.

I would like a refund totally and some compensation as have made a wasted trip to Barcelona from ibiza for this!

Please can someone call me on 0034 657729330 to sort out

Ariana Grande is the latest american teen star to make it big globally. With a vocal likened to the iconic Mariah Carey and a string of international hit singles from her 2014 album 'My Everything', she is one of the most in demand stars of the moment.

Her live performance is polished and concise, perhaps due to the theatre background she came from before her breakthrough. Often performing elaborate dance routines during her hits such as 'Be My Baby' she still hits every note intended and wows fans all at once. The petite star is relatively humble despite her seemingly overnight transformation into a megastar. She is confident yet still acknowledges fans throughout and performs sections of songs on the front row.

The place erupts in cheers for her solo hit 'Problem' and although there is no guest appearance from Iggy Azalea, she tears through this pop gem. Encore track 'Bang Bang' is slightly anti-climatic as the majority of the vocal is actually Jessie J yet Ariana puts her own sugary sweet spin on the track to the delight of the crowd.

Yesterday I went to the Ariana Grande concert in Hamburg. I really enjoyed the show, she sang so good and hit some high notes! The background effects were also very cool and matching to the songs. If you’re into her music i’d definitely recommend going, because it’s an awesome performance to watch. You should keep in mind that the screen is kind of small, so if you want to have the best experience, get your seats in the front or buy tickets for the standing area. All in all, I absolutely recommend going, even if you’re not the biggest fan of her, because the light effects (there even was a moon hanging down) are breathtaking, but if you’re more into acoustic concerts, you should overthink going. Anyways, I loved the concert and totally enjoyed it!

I was at the show you did in São Paulo and I loved the show, but since nothing is perfect, the organization left something to be desired. Outside, there was no queue and the organizers said, "Do not queue up! Get together and walk according to the schedule movement!" And so it was each one pushing the other all day, because of that we could not go to the bathroom, eat or even sit. We could not do anything. When we got in, they searched us and when we got inside, we saw people with accessories that were forbidden in the regulation, like: camouflaged print clothes or big bags.

The stage was very far away and the screen was of poor quality.

The organization of the "Dangerous Woman Tour" could have been better.

Thanks for listening!

The show was incredible. She is the most talented person with the voice like an angel. One of my dream came true. She sang live with backtracks but an live band. The dance moves were flawless and the outfits stunning. Of course her make up too:). I'll go to another concert if she's coming to germany. The songs were so cool, but I think that she could took more of the TY,N album or dangerous women. So and one more thing.. the prebands were a little bit boring bc idk social house was fine and there are so cool but Ella May was a bit boring. She's a good singer but the show was....

But idc. I saw my idol live!!!

Best concert I have ever been to. Ariana is my absolute inspiration for everything and she is so strong and brave regardless of everything she has been through. She made everyone at the concert smile and have a blast. She has the voice of an angel and made sure to not let anyone down. if I were Ariana's mum, I would be more than beyond proud of all her achievements. I had the most magical time and I hope to meet Ariana one day.

Ps: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH ARIANA AND THANK YOU FOR BEING THE MOST AMAZING ROLE MODEL FOR ALL GIRLS OUT THERE AND FOR ME. I HAD THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!

More Information

ariana grande tour in uk

With her powerful vocals and astonishing range, Ariana Grande has emerged as one of the most magnetic and massively successful performers in pop music today. At age 25 she’s delivered three platinum-selling albums and surpassed 18 billion streams, in addition to nabbing four Grammy Award nominations and landing eight hits in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. With 2016’s critically acclaimed Dangerous Woman, Grande both boldly defies expectation and reveals the full force of her voice (recently hailed as an “extraordinary, versatile, limitless instrument” upon Grande’s appearance on Time’s “100 Most Influential People” list).

Since making her full-length debut with 2013’s Yours Truly (featuring the game-changing, triple-platinum smash “The Way”), Grande has brought her striking vocal presence to a genre-blurring breed of pop, taking on R&B, soul, and electronic music with equal nuance and assurance. Arriving in 2014, her sophomore effort, My Everything, garnered a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album and spawned the 6x-platinum hits “Problem” and “Bang Bang” (a Grammy nominee for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance). Grande embraced a more uncompromising vision than ever before in the making of Dangerous Woman. With People noting that the album “celebrates feminine might,” Entertainment Weekly praised Grande for “having something meaningful to say with that jaw-dropping voice — one of the most exquisite in pop today.” Grande wrapped up her widely lauded Dangerous Woman Tour in support of the album last year, performing 85 arena shows worldwide.

Through the years, the longtime actress and former Broadway star has proven the scope of her talent by appearing on Scream Queens and Hairspray Live! and showcased her comedic chops by hosting Saturday Night Live. With her social media following now surging past 200 million, Grande has also earned numerous accolades from the MTV Video Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, and American Music Awards (including the highly coveted Artist of the Year prize).

Ariana’s recent single “No Tears Left To Cry” debuted at #1 on iTunes in 88 countries worldwide and began the next era for her upcoming fourth full length studio album Sweetener. With the release of “Not Tears Left To Cry” she became the first artist in music history to see the lead single from her first four albums debut on the Top 10 on Billboard Hot 100. This year she has graced the prestigious magazine covers of TIME’s Next Generation Leaders, FADER, and British Vogue. The highly anticipated album, Sweetener, was released in August 2018 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart.

Ariana Grande Sweetener UK arena tour support act announced as Ella Mai, more UK dates added

ariana-grande-twitter-february-20-2019-1100.jpg

Ariana Grande has extended the UK leg of her Sweetener world tour, taking her total of UK dates to nine.

The star's global jaunt reaches the UK on August 17 with three shows at London's O2 Arena before heading to Birmingham, Glasgow and Sheffield.

An extra two dates have been added, both at London's O2 Arena, on October 15 and 16. Tickets for the additional shows go on sale on Friday June 14 at 10am.

London R&B star Ella Mai is supporting the shows as a special guest at all the dates. Ella's self-titled debut album reached Number 5 on the US Billboard chart, and she's scored two hit singles overseas - Boo'd up and Trip. Both peaked just outside the Top 40 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Ariana has lots of new material to play on the road. Since her last tour she's released two albums, chart-topping records Sweetener and Thank U, Next.

The singer also scored three UK Number 1 songs across 2018 - 2019, meaning she joins Elvis, John Lennon and Justin Bieber as the only artists to ever land three Number 1 songs in under 100 days.

Manchester Arena bombing inquiry: The victims of the attack, remembered by their loved ones

Thursday 17 June 2021 22:17, UK

Manchester attack victims

Twenty-two men, women and children lost their lives in the suicide bombing attack at an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena in May 2017.

Bomber Salman Abedi's device injured hundreds more.

The inquiry into the 2017 terror attack has published its report into the security operation at the Ariana Grande concert.

Here, the families of those who died remember their loved ones.

Saffie Roussos

Saffie-Rose Roussos

Eight-year-old Saffie never wanted anyone to be sad and smiled her "big" and "infectious" smile at everyone she met.

Saffie was always active. She enjoyed gymnastics and dancing and was often found riding her bike or scooter or seeing how many jumps she could do on her pogo stick.

Her mum, Lisa, told the inquiry she found joy in everything she did and had so much to offer the world, describing Saffie as a "beautiful soul who touched people's hearts with her kindness".

Her dad, Andrew, said he's never going to accept life without Saffie, adding: "She is my star, my admiration, my perfect daughter".

Olivia Page Campbell-Hardy

Olivia Campbell-Hardy. Pic: Greater Manchester Police

Music and singing were Olivia's passions, passions she had dreamed would turn into a career.

The 15-year-old, from Bury, sang in a choir, performed at Manchester Arena and auditioned for Britain's Got Talent. She loved to sing at family parties.

Her mum, Charlotte, told the inquiry she had wanted to sing on stage in London's West End or become a music teacher one day.

Olivia's dad, Andrew, said his "loving" daughter was "born with a twinkle in her eye".

After her death, her family set up Liv's Trust in her memory, to help under-25s in Greater Manchester with music and dance lessons.

Marcin Klis and Angelika Klis

Angelika and Marcin Klis

Marcin and Angelika Klis were "soulmates" who fell in love and married in Poland before the family moved to York in 2007.

They loved to travel together and regularly planned family days, where they would visit theme parks, go hiking or out for meals with their two daughters, Aleksandra and Patrycja.

Marcin enjoyed photography and rock music, and Angelika liked watching films and sunbathing.

Their daughters told the inquiry the couple were "so in love, as if they were teenagers without a care in the world".

They said: "We haven't just lost our parents, but we have lost our best friends and protectors."

Georgina Callander

An undated photo from the Instagram account of Georgina Callander, identified in media reports as one of the victims of the blast at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester May 22, 2017

Georgina's bedroom walls were covered in concert tickets and pictures of places she'd visited. Her brothers described it as an "amazing timeline of her life".

The 18 year-old student from Hesketh Bank in Lancashire was an Ariana Grande superfan. She'd previously met the star and tweeted a photograph of them together the day before the arena was bombed.

Georgina's mum Lesley told the Inquiry: "She was like a beautiful melody who lit up the room with her famous smile" and that she'd been looking forward to studying paediatric nursing at university.

Michelle Kiss

Pic: Greater Manchester Police

Mum-of-three Michelle was described as the "hub" of her family who had "a natural ability to bring people together".

The 45-year-old spent hours driving thousands of miles to take her children to sporting activities, auditions and rehearsals.

Her family said she would have been proud when her youngest got a part in a Hollywood movie a year after Michelle was killed in the bombing.

She met her husband Tony when she was 15 and they were married in Barbados in 1995.

Michelle had visited Manchester Arena many times, including seeing her favourite band, Take That, six times.

Tony said: "How sad to think that a place that brought so much joy to my family would be the place forever to take away that joy."

Courtney Boyle

Manchester bombing victim Courtney Boyle

Courtney Boyle was a huge fan of WWE, but preferred to be out of the spotlight herself. Her worst nightmare, her mother Deborah Hutchinson said, was school prom.

"She hated being a girly-girl. She hated getting photographed as it made her feel very uncomfortable."

The 19-year-old university student had dreams of becoming a criminal psychologist and was nervous about receiving her end-of-year results when she was killed.

Her stepfather Philip Tron also died in the atrocity.

A week after her funeral, she was awarded an honorary degree by Leeds Beckett University.

Her family and friends describe her as a "friendly character, always giggling" who loved music festivals and saved hard to attend them. "She wasn't finished. She was on her way to being truly happy."

Philip Tron

Philip Tron was killed as he waited to meet his daughter, Nicole, who was at the concert. His stepdaughter, Courtney Boyle, who was with him, was also killed

A family-loving man with a huge personality, Philip Tron was the one at parties who could get older relatives on to the dance floor.

His family remember how helpful he always was.

"Philip was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He would give anything a go.

"This is probably one of the ways where he's most missed. Now there's not that friendly voice at the end of a phone who would agree to come and see you, see what the problem was and see what he could do to resolve it."

The 32-year-old water conservation engineer was killed as he waited to meet his daughter, Nicole, who was at the concert at the Manchester Arena the night it was bombed.

His stepdaughter, Courtney Boyle, who was with him, was also killed.

Megan Hurley

Megan Hurley, a huge Ariana Grande fan, was desperate for tickets for her UK tour

Teachers wanted all students to be like her, dentists wanted every patient to have teeth like hers and neighbours wanted their daughters to grow up to become her.

Megan, 15, was described as having a "gentle, quiet nature that everyone was endeared by". She loved helping others, often breaking into her birthday money to help out friends.

Her brother Bradley, who had nicknamed her "Megatron", said they were best friends.

"This was the case up until our very last night together at the concert. We were sat in the bar instead of watching the support acts, where we chatted, laughed and shared stories."

Martyn Hett

Martyn Hett

Coronation Street superfan Martyn Hett had an extraordinary energy that family and friends described as infectious.

The 29-year-old PR manager from Stockport was just about to go on the trip of a lifetime around America when he was killed in the Arena bombing.

Since the atrocity his mother, Figen Murray, has been campaigning for "Martyn's Law" calling for better security arrangements at venues.

She said her son "had such a hunger for life that he lived it at 100 miles an hour, hardly any of us could keep up."

His father Paul told the inquiry: "We get asked many times is Martyn Hett your son?

"We reply with all the pride in the world: 'Yes, Martyn's our son.'"

Sorrell Leczkowski

Sorrell Leczkowski

Sorrell Leczkowski, 14, from Leeds was a creative, talented, and ambitious schoolgirl who dreamed of studying architecture in New York.

She was at the Ariana Grande concert with her mother Samantha and grandmother Pauline who were both injured in the explosion.

Her mum told the inquiry: "I have no life without Sorrell, I don't care that my leg doesn't work properly, I don't care that I'm constantly in pain from it because the pain in my heart is the worst pain I have ever had and it won't go away.

"I want her home. I want us to all be together again. The four of us could conquer the world together and now a family is left broken."

Alison Howe

Alison Howe died in the Manchester Arena bombing

Alison, 45, from Royton near Oldham, was devoted to her family. She was waiting to pick up her two daughters when she was killed in the explosion. She also had four stepsons - collectively they were known as her "super six".

Her husband, Steve, told the inquiry how their paths had crossed a couple of times but then one evening when he'd hurt himself, Alison, a trained nurse, looked after him.

"When I regained consciousness, I think I told her I loved her and one day we'd be married, and that' s pretty much what happened.

"I can't believe there's anybody I've ever met who was as caring and as well-liked in her circle of friends."

Her mother, Sue, told the inquiry: "You could never be sad or feel depressed when Alison was with you because she would always know the right things to say and do to snap you out of it."

Nell Jones' family have set up the Remembering Nell Foundation to improve the lives of children throughout northwest England

Cheshire schoolgirl Nell Jones, 14, was a creative, hard-working, and charismatic student.

Her family have since established the Remembering Nell Foundation to improve the lives of children throughout northwest England.

Her eldest brother, Sam, told the inquiry: "If you were a friend of Nell's, you were in good hands. She hated any form of unkindness and she would protect her friends to the hilt.

"She lit up our days with her youthful energy and her passion for life. Every day was an adventure for Nell, and we were all carried along with her."

John Atkinson

John Atkinson suffered a heart attack after the attack

The 28-year-old's parents told the inquiry that he was "the centre of our world".

As a youngster he was extremely clever and had a Mensa IQ of 137 at the age of eight.

He worked as a healthcare assistant and loved sessions in the gym and swimming pool near his home in Radcliffe, Bury.

His older sister Laura told the inquiry: "When we were growing up, he was like a whirlwind, never a dull moment. As he grew up, John became the most thoughtful, loving, caring young man I have ever come across."

Eilidh MacLeod

Eilidh MacLeod

Schoolgirl Eilidh MacLeod, from the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, was described as a "friend for life" by her mum, Marion.

The 14-year-old loved music and played the bagpipes. Her tutor told the inquiry in a video tribute: "As we say on the islands: 'She had the music.'"

One of Eilidh's primary school teachers remembered a girl full of potential.

She said: "You are taught not to have favourites, but some children just stick with you, and Eilidh was one of the girls that stuck with me."

"She had a special sparkle in her eyes. She was such a loving young girl. She loved, she laughed, she smiled."

Elaine McIver

Elaine McIver

Described as having "gusto and gung-ho," Elaine McIver's sister Lynda remembers her as a cheeky little girl from the moment she was born.

But she was a private individual and her family say she would hate to be remembered as a victim.

Elaine was a police officer, joining Cheshire Constabulary as a special before becoming a regular officer in 1998.

She met her partner Paul Price in 2014 through their shared love of music.

Mr Price was seriously injured in the arena attack which killed Elaine.

"If I took the loss of Elaine out of the equation and it was just me, with the life-changing injuries I have, that alone would be all-consuming," he said.

Wendy Fawell

Wendy Fawell

A true feeder, Wendy Fawell's family have fond memories of her Christmas dinners.

The 50-year-old mother-of-two from Otley, loved children and spent much of her life working in primary schools - at a before and after school club, and as a dinner lady too.

"Children warmed to her and enjoyed spending time with her," her family remember. "She worked in this job until the time of her death. Her death left all the 15 children she cared for bewildered."

Wendy's father never got over her death when he passed away 11 months later. "We have never felt such grief," her family said.

Her mother Julia remembers the barbecues in Wendy's back garden. "There was enough food to feed an army. This was Wendy at her best, looking after everyone."

Kelly Brewster

Kelly Brewster

"A funny, intelligent, opinionated woman who had a thirst for life", is how the family of Kelly Brewster described her.

Known to her friends as "Brucey", they describe her as the "life and soul of the party" who had a "contagious" laugh.

The 32-year-old from Sheffield had a passion for travel, music and was "always seen on the dance floor."

Her family said she was trying for a baby with her "soulmate" and had accepted an offer on a new house on the morning of the bombing.

Lisa, 43, was killed six months before the birth of her second grandchild.

Her husband said she had a "passion to succeed" and still had "so much more to give".

Lisa was a beauty tutor who had set up an organisation treating and comforting young people who were dying.

Her husband described her as "a true angel, caring and beautiful, both inside and out".

She left behind two daughters, India and Lauren who she told "could achieve anything in life".

India said her mum was "the most beautiful, selfless and positive person I knew".

Liam Curry, 19 - killed in Manchester attack

Cricket fanatic Liam Curry was at the Ariana Grande concert with his girlfriend Chloe Rutherford, who was also killed.

The couple were from South Shields and had a relationship described as a "love story".

The 19-year-old was described as a "fine cricket player" and as someone who loved to cycle and ski.

His mother said Liam "took everything in his stride and was laid back as ever", but that he had dreams of working as a police officer.

The teenager's parents said "Chloe and Liam were made for each other - just completely at their best when they were together."

Chloe Rutherford

Chloe Rutherford, 17 - killed in Manchester bombing

Chloe, 17, had "a musical ear" and a "secret passion" for writing songs.

The teenager, who was at the concert with her boyfriend Liam Curry, was described by her father as a "gorgeous young lady", with "her life ahead of her".

Her mum described her grief as "a searing pain that won't ever recover". Liam and Chloe "brought so much joy to our lives," she added.

Chloe had started a travel and tourism apprenticeship, but it was her creativity that shone through. Her father said, "No doubt Liam was at the forefront of her mind when she was being creative."

Jane Tweddle

Manchester Arena attack victim Jane Tweddle

The daughters of 51-year-old Jane Tweddle described their mum as a "warrior" who treated "everyone with kindness, decency and respect".

Jane, from Blackpool was also a "loyal sister" and a "loving auntie", her family said.

Her daughters said "our house was always full of love and laughter. You never failed to make us smile."

They said the secondary school receptionist was "made for the job - friendly and full of life" as well as being a "shoulder to cry on and a source of support for many".

A Grande Experience - The Girl Behind The Show

From just a tender age of 3, Kearra was born for the stage. A young female artiste originally from Leigh, near Wigan, where her singing career started. Fairly new to the circuit she had recognised that she specialises in musical theatre, power ballads and classical, her wings could even be spread to west end! Although she has the voice, she certainly has the personality to go with it. From witty banter to quick come backs, audience participation is a major part of the fun.

In 2015 Kearra came across some of Ariana's music videos online, falling in love with her music, dress sense & personality. Learning nearly every song, Kearra could have been Ariana.

Back in 2017 on 22nd May, Kearra attended the fatal Manchester Arena but was very fortunate to not be hurt or effected by the explosion. But this was the boost that gave Ariana the flag she deserved after the courage she showed alongside the confidence to perform once again in Manchester.

Kearra developed her tribute show in 2018.

A Grande Experience is currently the UK's leading theatre touring tribute act to Global Icon, Ariana Grande.

Manchester Arena bombed during Ariana Grande concert

ariana grande tour in uk

Just moments after Ariana Grande finished the final song of her May 22, 2017 concert at Manchester Arena, a suicide bomber detonated an explosion on the premises, killing 22 concertgoers and injuring 116 more . ISIS  claimed responsibility for what was the deadliest act of terrorism in Britain since the 2005 London metro bombings.

A scene of youthful fun turned to panic and violence as shrapnel and fire tore through the crowd pouring out of the Arena’s busiest exit. Witnesses said they heard an explosion and saw a flash of light. Some were knocked down by the blast, while others scrambled for safety in the chaos.

Frantic parents , family members and friends began what would be an hours-long search for their children, and those from whom they had been separated when the rush to safety began. Others took to social media with photos of their loved ones, using #manchesterarena to ask if any of them had been seen alive after the explosion. More than 240 emergency calls were made; 60 ambulances and 400 police officers helped in the search. The youngest victim was 8-year-old Lancashire native Saffie Roussos .

The attacker was later revealed to be 22-year-old Salman Abedi, a Manchester native of Libyan descent whom investigators believe was radicalized after spending time in Libya in 2011. Although he was known to British security services, he was not part of any active terrorist investigation at the time of the bombing. Evidence shows  that others, including Abedi’s brother, were aware of his plans, and may have helped to carry them out.

Just after the attack, Grande tweeted : “from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.” Eleven days later, she returned to Manchester, visiting wounded fans and victims’ families.

Ariana Grande Teases ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Music Video: See the Preview

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Ariana Grande ‘s “The Boy Is Mine” is getting a music video, and a release date has been set.

The Eternal Sunshine singer posted an incredibly brief but intriguing preview of the video on Instagram on Monday (May 27).

“meow,” Grande captioned the clip, which reveals that the video for “The Boy Is Mine” will be unveiled on Friday, June 7.

The music video preview shows an unidentified actor placing a drink down, then filling a bathroom sink with a bucket of ice that he dunks his face into. Meanwhile, a hand wearing a claw-like glove creeps around the nearby doorframe. Before the viewer can see who or what is behind that door, the video’s title and release date flashes on the screen.

A little over a week ago, Grande uploaded a couple photos to Instagram that fans speculated were from the set of an upcoming music video. She wears a cat-ear headband in the pictures and has “TRUE LOVE” and “BE MINE” hearts affixed on her wall next to a painted portrait, showing the portrait’s subject only from his bottom lip down to his shoulders. No caption was provided for the pics.

Director Christian Breslauer, who worked on the visuals for both “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” from Grande’s Eternal Sunshine album, commented on her Monday teaser and shared the sneak peek on his own Instagram account. “Get your popcorn, take your seats,” Breslauer wrote on the pop star’s post; “ACT III… soon,” he teased over on his page.

While Grande’s ready to drop “The Boy Is Mine,” current single “We Can’t Be Friends” sits at No. 1 on  Billboard ’s  Pop Airplay  chart (dated May 25). The Pop Airplay chart, which began in October 1992, ranks songs by weekly plays on over 150 mainstream top 40 radio stations monitored by Mediabase, with data provided to  Billboard  by Luminate. “We Can’t Be Friends” previously  hit No. 1  on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart dated March 23, the same week that Eternal Sunshine   soared in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Instagram confirms test of 'unskippable' ads

Instagram confirmed it's testing unskippable ads after screenshots of the feature began circulating across social media. The change would see the social network becoming more like the free version of YouTube, which requires users to view ads before and in the middle of watching videos. It makes sense that Instagram would consider going this route, too, given that it has also shifted over the years to become more of a video-sharing network, thanks to features like Stories and Reels, rather than a place to only share still photos.

Jimbo talks who she hopes to see on her Canadian tour

Social sharing.

Canada has had a steady stream of internationally renowned drag queens in recent years.

The Ru Paul's Drag Race franchises are in part responsible for creating Canadian mega-stars in the drag world.

There are now several seasons of Canada's Drag Race , and Canadian queens have been cast in popular spinoffs such as UK vs. The World (where internationally known drag queens compete against their British counterparts) and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars , now in its ninth season.

Now, Jimbo the drag clown is arguably Canada's most famous drag queen, after participating in all three shows (and winning All-Stars). During that time, she's generated a healthy buzz around her bizarre comedy and big-budget looks.

And she's gearing up for an international tour, with shows across Canada this month. Below is a conversation between Jimbo and CBC's Teghan Beaudette. It has been edited for length and clarity.

ariana grande tour in uk

All the world’s a stage for Jimbo the Drag Clown

TEGHAN BEAUDETTE: I felt kind of a groundswell of recognition when you did UK vs. The World , and I'm wondering for you when you felt like, "OK, I am now in the international drag celebrity club"?

JIMBO: I think it was probably when I was messaging with Ariana Grande on Instagram and she started following me and she was like, "I love your drag. I love your message. I love your energy." And she said I was a star, and it just blew my mind. I love Ariana. I think she's such a little cutie pie. So that was definitely a big thing where I was like, "Oh my God," you know.

And other celebrities reaching out ...  when you have that, it kind of opens your eyes. There's a huge audience base around the world for this.

TB: You have a really, really wide influence right now and —

JIMBO: Are you talking about my butt?

TB: Yeah, we'll get to that part later. You have a really wide influence across drag. Trixie Mattel on The Pit Stop was talking about how Miss Plane Jane has a very clear Jimbo influence, and that there's this whole generation of baby drag queens who are really Jimbo-inspired. I'm curious what it feels like to see yourself emulated?

JIMBO: I am all about more weird, more fun — everyone feel your joy and find what's inside of you that you want to share, and share it. You know, I love Plane Jane, and I think it's f--king awesome. I love her fashion. It's awesome to be able to look at another queen or another performer and go like, "Oh, I would wear that," or "Oh, I really like that!" — so I think it's really fun.

Drag is all about individuality, but at the same time it's also about bringing people together through commonality, common joys, shared joy, shared aesthetics. I think that it just makes sense that drag's all about borrowing from each other and trying things on.

The drag queen Jimbo appears on Ru Paul's Drag Race: UK Versus the World television show. Jimbo is wearing a green dress with black circles.

Pamela Anderson's influence on Canadian drag

TB: I have to talk about the influence of your breastplates, because I've never seen bigger boobs in my life. How did that become a part of your drag aesthetic? How did you decide that was the thing?

JIMBO: Well, I guess, like, being a child of the [1980s] and kind of like early '90s, there's a lot of that aesthetic sort of in there. Baywatch , Pamela Anderson, that kind of vibe. And then also Elvira, Mistress of the Dark [is a] big influence of mine, Dolly Parton's an influence, as well — so big-breasted women. My mom has and had big breasts, my sister, you know, it runs in my family. Drag has a lot to do with proportions, and I'm a bit of a tall, bigger guy, so in order to proportionize I need to have bigger breasts to suit this body size. And I'm also a clown so I need big tits, and I need them even bigger because I'm a clown.

TB: I love that it has a Canadian origin. Now, for your tour, I know Kitchener-Waterloo, Ont., is close to your heart, and I know Victoria, B.C., is close to your heart.

JIMBO: Kitchener-Waterloo is where I moved after living in London going to university.

That was where I found my artist group of people. That's where I was really encouraged to to really be weird and to step outside of my science [studies]   and all that stuff. Growing up closeted in London and being in science, and then moving out of my hometown, kind of opening up and experimenting — I got to learn a lot about myself. They really encouraged me, before I went on to Victoria, to get into theatre and to get into drag and all those things.

So now I get to go back to my roots ... in Kitchener-Waterloo and show them what I've been working on and show them how I've grown and developed for the past 15 years.

TB: You might be the biggest household Canadian drag name right now. What show would you want to host?

JIMBO: I have a dream for my own show, which is House of Jimbo , which is like a Pee-wee's Playhouse -esque, improv- style, sketch comedy show. Something like a Pee-wee's Playhouse slash Saturday Night Live , but through my lens — kind of twisted with lots of drag characters and things. That's my dream, is to have my own show and to do what I've been doing, but even more, and really dive deeper into my world.

Tipping culture in the U.S. vs Canada

TB: There's such a storied history of sketch [comedy shows] in Canada. It would be a great addition to it. Is there a difference between the American fans at shows versus Canadian?

JIMBO: There is definitely a little bit of a difference in terms of the tipping culture and the drag culture. The fans in the States are used to going out to bars and really seeing drag and tipping and kind of interacting in that way, whereas Canadian drag does not.

There is a bit of a tipping scene here, but it's not quite the same as in America where they're like, "Let's make it rain on these girls!" They bring the dollars, and then we have the five-dollar [bill], which is, you know, it's kind of like giving five tips in one in the States.

People are a little bit more picky-choosy with that tip.

TB: Yeah, because what you do with a loonie? There's nothing you can do.

JIMBO: Well, you toss them in! Toss them down the well. [Gestures to breasts]

The Black Keys have abruptly canceled their upcoming North American tour .

The Black Keys have also removed the upcoming North American tour dates from their website , except for a lone appearance at Chicago’s NASCAR Street Race on July 6.

Billboard reached out to the Black Keys’ representatives for comment.

On Sunday, the band posted an update on X (formerly Twitter) in the afternoon, writing, “The band wants to assure everyone that Dan & Patrick are alive and well.”

They continued, “Following the recent run of shows in the UK & Europe, including stops at iconic venues like Brixton Academy and the Zenith in Paris, we have decided to make some changes to the North American leg of the International Players Tour that will enable us to offer a similarly exciting, intimate experience for both fans and the band, and will be announcing a revised set of dates shortly.”

“Everyone who had purchased tickets and/or VIP to the initial tour dates will be fully refunded – and when the new plans are announced, will be the first to be able to buy tickets. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for the surprise change… We’re pretty sure everyone is going to be excited when you see what we have in mind though, and look forward to seeing everyone soon,” the update said.

The tour news arrives on the heels of Black Keys’ appeared on NBC’s The Voice , where members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney performed their song “Beautiful People (Stay High).” The pair also recently completed the European leg of their tour in mid-May.

From legendary DJs to the hottest pop stars and rap gods, Gov Ball is gearing up to be sizzling hot, so below we’ve listed out all the important information — including bag rules, as well as where you can still snag last-minute tickets to the three-day festival.

Governors Ball 2024: Location, Schedule

Gov Ball 2024 is set to take place in Flushing Meadows Corona Park (located in Queens) from Friday, June 7 to Sunday, June 9. There are three stages in total, including the main stage where all the headliners will perform.

Post Malone will be headlining on the 7th, The Killers and a major performance from 21 Savage on the 8th, with the festival closing out with SZA on the 9th. Other noteworthy performers include Rauw Alejandro, Dominic Fike, Labrinth, Alex G, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sabrina Carpenter, Sexyy Red, Doechii, Reneé Rapp, Don Toliver, Victoria Monét, Faye Webster, Kevin Abstract, Cannons, Chappell Roan and more. Editor’s picks, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term, the 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history.

You can also buy individual one-day tickets (with limited Friday and Saturday options available now) if you’re only interested in seeing certain artists.

You can also buy tickets from the Gov Ball website itself , although the coveted Platinum tickets are long sold out.

Governors Ball 2024 After Parties

Governors Ball will be presenting an “After Dark” series this year presented by Bud Light from Thursday, June 6 through Tuesday, June 10. Artists like Teezo Touchdown, TV Girl, and Farruko are expected to play late night sets at various venues around New York City, so check out the full lineup below.

Governors Ball 2024: Bag Policy

Governors Ball has a pretty strict bag policy , so make sure you don’t carry your tote or backpack to the event. Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller don’t need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket. All other bags larger than 6″ x 9″ must be smaller than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and clear. Clear bags can be the better pick because you can store more in them — like your phone, portable charger, empty water bottle and an extra mask. But, if you want the least amount of weight on you while you dance, stick to a low-maintenance clutch bag.
