1. If pregnant, have pre-existing neck and back injuries/conditions, or experience motion sickness you are not allowed to ride! 2. You may get wet! 3. Watch your Step and use the handrails when boarding! 4. Sit down and Buckle up! 5. Kids must be able to sit in their seats without assistance; infants or children riding in laps are not allowed! 6. You must sign the waiver release online before boarding! 7. No Food or Beverages! 8. Hold on to your Hat and Sunglasses! 9. Keep phone and cameras in a waterproof enclosure for Blast Off!

Yes, there is a per boat weight limit of 500 lbs. A small child (under 50 lbs) is allowed to sit in the middle. You must be 18 years or older to drive a boat by yourself.

Any health restrictions?

Part of the fun at Speed Boat Adventure Tours is that, at times, they will be riding in open water. Although usually calm, the harbor can be choppy at times. *They do not recommend guest with neck or back problems or a recent surgery to participate. Pregnant women should not participate.

What to bring/wear?

Can we switch drivers?

Absolutely! They will stop several times during the tour and you can switch drivers if you like.

What if I have never driven a boat?

No problem! The boats are very simple to operate and they will make sure you are fully comfortable with the operation before they leave the dock.

What if I am by myself?

If they have another single on your tour then they will pair you together and you can make a new friend (or love connection). If not then you get the boat to yourself.

We also offer romantic boat  and retro boat rentals of our rare fiberglass boats from the jet-age era (1958-1963.) These classic boats are available for the whole family or friend group to enjoy. Take on the Downtown Tampa waterways with fanciful fins, vintage headlights, retro cool colors, and chrome details; they’ve kept their vintage style but have been retro-fitted with electric motors. They’re quiet, allowing conversation, and they’re environmentally friendly!

Ahoy, adventurers! Thank you for your interest in the R iverwalk Boating Company . The idea for RBC came one day when I was driving on Bayshore Blvd. in 2014, looking out towards Hillsborough Bay, when I realized something. As much as I love to be out on the water and exploring, I never had a chance to explore Tampa’s waterways. As a Tampa Bay native, I could not let this stand. So, I set out on a mission to find something that was affordable and fun to go out on the water… for myself. It wasn’t until I started thinking about my childhood trips to Disney World that my idea grew. I used to beg my parents to let me rent one of the little mini-powerboats that were out at the resorts for a ride around on the lakes. At that moment, lightning struck! I was going to bring a little piece of Disney to Downtown Tampa for others to experience, emulating the same attention to quality and enjoyment that they provide.
