The Cost of a Scottsdale Bachelorette Party

According to Casey Hohman, founder of Scottsdale Bachelorette, most Scottsdale bachelorette party attendees are spending between $800 and $1,200 excluding airfare. There are lots of affordable vacation rental homes in close proximity to all of the best restaurants and nightlife, which makes it much more affordable than other big cities like Miami or San Diego.

Where to Stay in Scottsdale

Hohman recommends booking a vacation rental home near Old Town Scottsdale using sites like Airbnb or VRBO. The good thing about booking a rental is that you can take over the accommodations and transform the home into your own oasis for the weekend. For example, you can book a private chef in your own kitchen or arrange a My AZ Picnic setup in your backyard. However, be sure to always keep in mind the occupancy rules when booking a home, advises Dr. Terika L. Haynes, CEO and lead travel consultant of Dynamite Travel. "These are usually strict so travelers need to make sure that they adhere to these rules to avoid any issues."

If you're planning on staying at a hotel, though, some of the top options include The Scott Resort & Spa , set in Scottsdale’s historic town with amazing décor; or Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows , featuring 185 spacious bungalows and suites, three luxurious pools, renowned dining, and more.

What to Pack for Scottsdale

As with all trips, what you choose to pack depends on the weather of the locale during the time you plan to visit. For Scottsdale, the best time to visit is anytime from March to June. "The temperature is ideal during this time of year because it’s not too hot," says Hohman. "If you want to do more outdoor activities, March, April, and May are the best months. May through June starts getting hot, which is great for pool parties."

Therefore, when packing your bag you’ll want to bring a mix of summer casual and athleisure outfits for the daytime, along with nice dresses or jeans for the nights you go out. Don’t forget to pack sneakers, sunglasses, a light jacket (for when the temperature drops at night), and sunscreen. Of course, bring bathing suits since the weather will be ideal for daily pool activities.

What to Do in Scottsdale

The unique thing about Scottsdale is that each trip can be a completely different experience depending on the bride’s interests. According to Hohman, brides should try a Pedal Bike Pub Crawl tour, hiking Camelback Mountain , doing a Jeep or ATV tour to explore the desert, day-tripping to Sedona, or planning a Vegas-style pool party at Maya Dayclub and W Hotel . If you’re into the nightlife scene, check out Riothouse or Whiskey Row to dance the night away. 

If partying isn’t your thing, you can plan workouts with the group at local spots like Balanced Bachelorette , which offers yoga classes for the bride and her friends with different packages and types of flows. 

If your group loves sweet treats (who doesn’t?), make a stop at Bear and the Honey Bakery , a BIPOC woman-owned bakery that specializes in gluten-free treats and other dietary restrictions. Another local bakery suggested by Hohman is Cookie Brokers , which can create customized cookies decorated however you’d like. These treats also make a cute gift for the bride’s friends, whether it’s for dessert one night or on their beds as a surprise upon arrival. 

According to Dr. Haynes, when traveling with a large group, be sure to set a few guidelines to ensure everyone remains together and safe for the duration of the trip. "Travel during the day for arrival and departures rather than after dark/at night for safety precautions," she shares. "Pre-arrange as much transportation as possible; create a 'buddy system' where no one is going anywhere alone; [and] do not post on social media real-time—wait until afterward so that the location is not disclosed."

Scottsdale Bachelorette Party Itinerary

Ready to plan the ultimate Scottsdale bachelorette party? Here's a sample itinerary to follow when putting together this pre-wedding celebration.

• Morning: Enjoy a light bite at your accommodations and get ready for an adventure. This morning, go on a hike through Camelback Mountain. You’ll be able to see amazing views from every corner and get a workout in to kick off the weekend. Climbing the mountain is no easy feat, but there are different trails to choose from depending on the group’s hiking ability. 
• Afternoon: Grab brunch at Hash Kitchen and then head back to your Airbnb to throw an at-home pool party with Scottsdale Cabana Boys , a cabana boy and bartending service. • Morning: Start your second day off with an ATV tour with Desert Monster Tours for a fun way to see the desert scenery. Don’t forget to bring personalized bandanas for all your friends like these on Etsy .
• Afternoon: After a full day of adventures, throw on your swimwear attire and head over for a pool party at Maya Day Club . Scottsdale is all about fun and there is so much to do and see. Here are our top 10 things to do for a Scottsdale bachelorette party!

1) Arizona Party Bike Scottsdale

Rent a giant bar on wheels with your girlfriends and pedal your way through Old Town Scottsdale! At least you get your exercise and earn your cocktail calories, its like spinning and drinking combined 

Scottsdale is world-renowned for its amazing spas and there is no shortage of excellent ones here in the Valley. The Phoenician , Sanctuary Spa , and Joya Spa at Montelucia are just a few of my favorites. Relax with your girls and indulge a little.. or a lot!

Fantastic golf courses are everywhere in Scottsdale and from the Phoenician Golf Course to Mountain Shadow’s short course and Top Golf at Talking Stick , there is no shortage of great golf in town. If your group loves to golf then Scottsdale is an excellent choice for your bachlorette party!

4) Spring Training

If you are planning your Bachelorette party in March, there are spring training games and stadiums all throughout the Valley. The bars are packed and it’s a fun time to be here in Scottsdale. It’s also very a popular time for Bachelor parties so it makes for a great time to socialize for your crew!

The Valley has some of the best hiking trails in the country right in town. Hike challenging Camelback or Mummy Mountains , Pinnacle Peak for the views, or Gateway Trail for an easier 4-mile loop. Bring lots and lots of water and sunscreen. The desert sun is strong and you will need it!

6) Make Your Own Wine

At Su Vino Winery in Scottsdale, you can learn more about the winemaking process and make your own custom wine with the help of their Wine Consultants.

If you want to skip the big parties but still want some sun, most resorts in Scottsdale have beautiful pools, and renting a cabana with your girls is a popular way to celebrate.

8) Festivals

From popular food festivals like the AZ Taco Festival , Uncorked and Devoured to the Polo Tournament and music festivals like Goldrush , Country Thunder , and Innings Festival . Check with websites like Eventbrite to see what’s happening while you are in town.

How To Get To Scottsdale

One of the things that makes Scottsdale an ideal destination for bachelorette parties is that it is easily accessible. You can drive to Scottsdale from any of the surrounding states or you can fly in. 

The closest airport to Scottsdale is the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). From the airport to Scottsdale it is just a quick and easy 15-minute drive. Taxis and UBER are readily available at the airport and throughout Scottsdale so there’s no need to rent a car. 

Best Time To Have A Scottsdale Bachelorette Party?

Try to avoid June, July, and August in Arizona because the temperatures reach triple digits daily. You should also try to avoid December and January when the desert temperatures dip into the 30s at night. 

The best time to have a bachelorette party in Scottsdale is in the spring or the fall when the weather is warm but not too hot during the day or too chilly at night.

Scottsdale is one of the most popular bachelorette locations in the country for good reason! There is something for every group to do in Scottsdale. Not only are there tons of fun activity options, the housing is typically more affordable than other bachelorette hubs and the Phoenix airport is only about a 20 minute drive to all of the downtown fun. This Scottsdale bachelorette party guide will walk you through the best activity options, places to eat and bars/clubs.

The best time to visit Scottsdale, AZ

The best time to visit Scottsdale is early spring and late fall but really, you can go anytime of the year. Temperature will be most mild during those time frames.

I planned my bestie’s bachelorette in Scottsdale in July of 2021. While it was HOT this time of year, it was still completely manageable because of the variety of activity options that either take place indoors or on water.

Scottsdale is also a great winter bachelorette destination if you are looking for something warm that time of year. It is way more unique than jetsetting to Florida while looking for a warm winter getaway!

Where to fly for a Scottsdale bachelorette

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) will be the most affordable airport to fly into to visit Scottsdale. It is about a 20 minute drive to Old Town and approximately a $20 Uber or Lyft ride (give or take depending on surges).

Transportation in Scottsdale

Uber and Lyft

One of the benefits about doing a bachelorette weekend in Scottsdale is that Ubers and Lyft are very accessible and affordable! Our group was easily able to split into two cars to get to all of our local destinations and to/from the airport.

If you opt for an activity listed below that is farther outside the city, I highly recommend booking a party bus to drive your group for the day. While this is an additional cost, it provides your group peace of mind that you will have transportation ready and you can BYO booze and food on the bus!

Scottsdale Party Bus & Limo is the best company to book private transportation for your bachelorette party. They even stocked the bus with extra water and ice which was necessary in the Arizona heat!

Boondocks is known to be one of the most fun spots in Old Town, Scottsdale. Our group did not manage to go here because the line was already down the block at 9:30pm! If you get downtown early enough, check out this scene.

Pattie’s First Avenue Lounge

Pattie’s is a famous Dive Bar in Old Town with dollar bills hung up all over the bar. This would be a fun spot to check out during the day or before your group transitions to a club later in the night!

Here, you can enjoy light snacks, cocktails, and entertainment every weekend (DJ spins Friday-Sunday, 1 to 5 pm) from March to October. The pool at the resort offers a laid-back atmosphere, which was just what my group needed after a wild night.

However, for those seeking more of a daytime “club scene”, I highly recommend checking out Maya Day Club or WET Deck instead.

P.S. If you already have a pool at your VRBO/Airbnb, then plan a pool party at your place and hire Scottsdale Cabana Boys who will act as your bartender, DJ, photographer…you name it!

Alternative Option: Enjoy a rejuvenating spa day at the Well & Being Spa located at the Fairmount Scottsdale Princess. They offer a special “Spa’rty” package tailored for groups of five or more, making it an ideal choice for bachelorette parties. The package includes a complimentary lunch and access to the spa’s amenities, such as a sauna and adult-only rooftop pool.

Cap off the weekend with a final dinner at Craft 64 . Located across the street from Hotel Valley Ho, you can easily head straight there after your day at the pool. Craft 64 offers a laid-back atmosphere and features made-from-scratch wood-fired pizza.

For a trendy AND relaxed atmosphere, consider checking out Zinqué , a new addition that serves French-inspired dishes. The menu features small plates, making it an excellent choice if you wish to sample a variety of items and share them with your group.

If you want to have one last hoorah but are looking for something a bit more laid-back, try Boondocks Patio & Grill (casual spot with indoor/outdoor bars, games, and live music), Pattie’s First Avenue Lounge (no-frills neighborhood bar), or Kazimierz (swanky cocktail bar).

For large groups celebrating a bachelorette party, I would recommend you stay near Old Town, which is the center of Scottsdale’s best shopping, dining, and nightlife! By doing so, you can also cut down on your expenses for Uber/Lyft rides.

The City of Scottsdale has strict policies regarding noise disturbances and imposes fines accordingly. Prior to booking a home rental in Scottsdale, make sure to carefully review the property description to ensure it aligns with your group’s noise preferences and follows local regulations.

All the recommendations below are situated within a 5-minute Uber ride to Old Town and welcome bachelorette parties (though still remain mindful of the noise level).

Scottsdale, Arizona has some of the best golf courses for your bachelorette weekend getaway!  Mountain Shadows happens to be one of my top five favorites and it is a par 3; in the shadows of camelback mountain, with some of the most epic views. I love how their golf carts come with a little cooler filled with ice cold waters, and they also offer a “party cart” which seats four people!

One of their restaurants, Rusty’s at the Short Course, is perfect for lunch after your golf game. They feature refreshing cocktails, yummy snack options and signature lunch items. I would recommend ordering as many items as you and your group care to share, and trying them all!  (I really can’t tell you a favorite choice because I enjoyed them all)

The Phoenician golf course is full of some of the best views and is also a gorgeous resort and a great place to stay. Their beautiful 18 hole course features stunning views of Camelback Mountain and has a top notch locker room you can use when you finish up!

The Phoenician features the 19th Hole Grill and Patio bar with delicious menu items, and refreshing beverages during or after your play!

If you enjoy the outdoors, and you are an avid hiker, I would highly recommend hiking Camelback Mountain . A few things to note about this mountain in particular; make sure to wear close toed shoes, bring at LEAST one larger bottle of water, and please DO NOT hike this mountain hungover or you and your pals will be spending a pretty penny to be helicoptered out. (I know, a helicopter ride sounds fun, but maybe book a hot air balloon ride over all of Phoenix instead 🙂 ) Also, parking is very limited here so I would suggest taking a Lyft or Uber if you come anytime after 6am.

When you make it all the way to the top, the views over all of Scottsdale are absolutely breathtaking.

Gateway Loop Trail is another great hike, and more moderate. It’s about 25 minutes from Old Town and parking is free, and spacious! It’s more of a scenic hike with a few smaller inclines here and there but ends up being a full loop where you finish where you started.

The trail also has restrooms at the start and finish open to the public, and a water fountain you can refill your water bottles at!

• Pool parties

There are some amazing resorts near Old Town Scottsdale with beautiful pools and lively entertainment that you can grab a day pass at to utilize the pool areas!

If you’re looking for more of an upscale environment I would recommend The Royal Palms Resort : A high end resort 1 mile from Camelback mountain, featuring Spanish designs and beautiful landscaping all around. They showcase an elevated cocktail lounge, an outdoor pool and hot tub with poolside service.

Mountain Shadows is an upscale environment with a casual classy vibe. They offer two pools, with spectacular views and light music playing in the background. They have a poolside menu including yummy margaritas, champagne & a few other beverage options, as well as a variety of food items from a sandwich or burger to veggies with hummus or their decadent truffle fries. SO YUM. Grab you suits, head over, and get your sip and sun on!

You can reserve a cabana for a fee, or you can use the poolside chairs at no cost- both options provide a great experience!

Omni Montelucia ; set at the base of Camelback Mountain is another gem of a resort and pool spot. This posh, Spanish/Mediterranean -inspired resort is 5 miles from upscale shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and 3 miles from some great restaurants! They have two outdoor pools, a delicious poolside menu and if you’e feeling extra, their spa will not disappoint.

Arizona Party Bike pub crawl is a fun way to cruise through Old Town Scottsdale and check out some of our oldest and off the beaten path bars. Sumomaya is an Asian-Mexican Fusion restaurant, with an eclectic cocktail list and a beautifully designed interior. Great for a brunch spot on the weekends, and or dinner any night of the week! From their pomegranate guacamole, to their fresh sushi selection, their menu will have you wanting one of everything.

Make sure to call ahead to make your reservation, & don’t forget to ask about the tres leches cakes too!

Maple and Ash   is an upscale, high-end steakhouse with seafood. Their extensive wine list and cocktail menu has something for everyone and they are also known for their martini list-my favorite. I would highly recommend making your reservation in or near the bar area.

If you want to celebrate your bach with extra elegance and class- Maple and Ash has an incredible brunch menu, featuring sweet and savory items and their dinner menu is delicious as well- (if you do go for dinner, ask for the homemade noodles at the end of your meal if you order anything in a skillet with their butter and chili seasonings, thank us later!)

Toca Madera is a modern Mexican steakhouse. They serve an amazing weekend brunch menu and have an eclectic dinner menu as well!

Hash Kitchen is home to the original build your own bloody mary bar; so many yummy toppings you will want one of each!

Hash kitchen has a live DJ on the weekends and pancakes sweeter than your grandma’s homemade apple pie, this place will SURELY catch your eye, or palette.

Prep and Pastry serves not only delicious food, but the presentation is beautiful! Their American brunch features fruity, modern cocktails, and warm, mouth-watering pastries! Right across the street from Olive & Ivy, also great for cocktails and a quick snack- Prep and Pastry is located right next to Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Steps from Scottsdale Fashion Square, with a menu full of delicious menu options, there isn’t a single menu item I didn’t enjoy. The cinnamon roll warmed up is a definite yes- and I really enjoyed their fruity mimosas, absolute must trys!

Farm and Craft is a modern bistro serving organic and gluten free menu options. Farm and craft is known for their healthier menu and cocktail options, while still presenting delicious flavors.

Placed in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, and with a menu that will treat any palette! They have a yummy brunch menu, lunch menu and dinner menu! They also have great juices, smoothies and fun refreshing cocktails!

Upscale Dinner Restaurants

Steak 44 is an upscale, high-end steakhouse.

With a beautifully designed atmosphere, a delicious menu selection and where sides are ordered to share family style. This place should definitely be on the top of your list, along with the beignet tower with the creamy sweet dipping sauces for dessert; it is everything! There is truly nothing on this menu I haven’t tried and it is all incredible.

Mastros is a high-end steakhouse featuring seafood, live music, and an elegant atmosphere.

Their world class service makes every visit enjoyable and with more than 17 years of service, you won’t want to skip out on this place. With an amazing seafood tower, delicious appetizers and my favorite sea bass in town, you cannot go wrong making a reservation at this spot.

Be sure to finish off your meal by ordering the butter cake and an espresso martini for dessert, always compliments to their chef.

Ocean 44 is a premium seafood and steak restaurant with a modern cocktail bar and an open kitchen concept. A fare for the most elevated foodie of them all.

When making your reservation to dine here, I would suggest asking for the chef’s table (you can see right into their beautiful kitchen space) and it makes for an even more exquisite evening. I would recommend ordering the wagyu steak pre-sliced, with a side of hot crab- my mouth is watering just typing this. Their sides are meant to order family style and share as well, with every single one of them being incredibly delicious. To finish the evening off, the ultimate warm vanilla cake is literally the ULTIMATE.

Nobu is an elevated sushi experience with an upscale atmosphere. Nobu does offer other menu items besides sushi and they are all incredible. Nobu is a worldwide name with over 50 locations and it is very simple why- they are the best in the business when it comes to sushi and mixing eclectic flavors to bring you an over the top explosion of an experience for your palate when you dine with them.

From the beginning to the end, every course is delicious. If you love amazing sushi, and you’re looking to try a little of everything I would HIGHLY recommend ordering the “chef’s choice dinner” you will be served multiple courses with a unique twist in each one surprings your palette with some AMAZING flavors. If you’re wanting to just order right off of the menu, there isn’t a single item I would not recommend.

Buck and Rider uses the best and most fresh ingredients, directly from fishermen and farmers, and with fish and oysters flown in daily; they have a menu that will want you to keep ordering more.

From their fresh seafood, perfectly cut filets and delicious cocktails, Buck can satisfy any palette. Don’t forget to ask about their lemon meringue pie for dessert.

Francines is an upscale french restaurant, featuring salad Niçoise, grilled branzino, steak frite and bouillabaisse. This is the perfect place to celebrate in Scottsdale before the veil!

Casual Dinner Restaurants

Cala features a beautiful light, modern coastal atmosphere, with a Spanish, Italian inspired menu,and delicious wine and cocktail list. Cala is perfect for a lunch date if you’re looking to enjoy some yummy eats and a bottle of wine, or a lively Sunday Funday where shots and cocktails are flowing!

Los Olivos is a casual restaurant and has incredible, authentic, Mexican cuisine. Featuring the most friendly staff, it is located in the middle of old town scottsdale. If you like heart and soul authentic Mexican cuisine, you need to check this place out. They have two salsas they serve with chips, and mixing them is the way to go! Perfect for lunch or dinner time.

Marcellino Ristorante , if you love Italian, you’ll love this spot. With daily homemade fresh pasta, a perfectly paired wine list and a beautifully designed atmosphere, you can’t help but overindulge here.

Olive and Ivy is a Mediterranean inspired restaurant featuring a great wine list and some of the best pesto and bread! Even their french fries are a perfect little snack! They have a beautifully designed indoor space as well as a comfortable patio with fire pits and seating that will make you feel like you’re on the beach.

Diego Pops puts a modern twist on traditional Mexican food, and does not disappoint. From their tacos to their brussel sprout nachos, you’ll want to try one of everything. They have a creative cocktail list, with the best margaritas and a laid back atmosphere. Located in Old town Scottsdale, you can walk to the entertainment district.

The Montauk features a Hamptons like vibe with live music and late night DJs. Their eclectic menu will have you snacking on fried chicken sliders, lobster rolls and deviled eggs, while sipping champagne at the same time! The W Hotel rooftop pool: As we mentioned above in our fun places to stay section, the W rooftop pool is also a great place to head over and check out even for just the day! Their lively pool area features beautiful views of Scottsdale, AZ, live music, and a delicious poolside menu. They also have a glass bottom area where you can see down into the hotel, a super cool feature! Grab your girls and head over for a fun pool day!

• Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, these “Terms and Conditions” or “Agreement”), govern your access to and use of our services, including our website, and any content, functionality, and services accessible from the website (the “Services”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before you start to use the Services.

By visiting the Services, using any information, materials, features or services, including but not limited to any reservation or ticketing services, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not access or use the Services or any of the services.

AZ Wine Wagon may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time, and all users will be bound by such revisions for all use of the Services after the revision is posted. Revisions will be posted on this page and users are responsible to review the page from time to time to ensure compliance.

• Refunds and Cancellations

Most shuttle services offered are fully refundable when cancelled at least 7 days prior to departure. Specific cancellation and refund policies are noted on all other services in the description details. If you fail to show up for the shuttle service, the booking is considered a no show and no refund will be granted.

If AZ Wine Wagon cancels a shuttle service for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the deposit. In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to modify, shorten, or cancel any shuttle service to prevent damage to vehicles or to avoid unsafe conditions. Full refunds or the option to re-book will be provided if we are unable to run a shuttle service due to bad weather or other cancellations.

Guest understands that unforeseen traffic due to weather, accidents, or roadwork may affect the timing of pick up or drop off, and may cause delays during the shuttle service.

• Shuttle Information

Pick up and drop off service may be available with confirmation from our reservations staff. In many circumstances, pick up and drop off service may only be available at a single specified location. Gratuity is not included in our rates and is payable at the guest’s discretion.

All guests must be 21 years of age or older and must provide proof if asked.

Winery locations and itinerary may change due to traffic or a previously booked special event at the location.   Shuttle service cost does not include any winery fees except where expressly indicated.  

AZ Wine Wagon and any shuttle service drive has the ability and right to end a shuttle service at any time due to over-consumption of alcohol and/or related sickness. We are not responsible for any wineries determination not to serve alcohol to you. No refunds will be given if a winery refuses service to you. AZ Wine Wagon is not responsible for you or anyone in your party once the shuttle service has concluded and you have been dropped off. Please watch your alcohol intake and please do not drink and drive.

Guests will be fully responsible for any charges related to sickness in a vehicle due to alcohol consumption, and a minimum cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed if the vehicle needs extensive cleaning due to sickness.

• Shuttle Service Waiver and Release Notice

All guests who book and/or participate (the “Guest”) in a shuttle service with AZ Wine Wagon (the “Company”) hereby agrees to these Terms and Conditions, including the Guest Code of Conduct, and the following:

Guest desires to participate in the shuttle service offered by the Company (the “Shuttle Service”).

Guest is able to participate in the Shuttle Service and fully agrees to do so.

Guest fully comprehends and understands all of the risks associated with their participation in the Shuttle Service.

Guest grants Company the right and authority to use Guest’s name, likeness, photograph and/or picture for any and all commercial and non-commercial purposes without further obligation or compensation to Guest.

GUEST’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SHUTTLE SERVICE IS AT GUEST’S OWN SOLE RISK. GUEST, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELF AND/OR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY ACTING THROUGH OR ON BEHALF OF GUEST, HEREBY FOREVER AND UNCONDITIONALLY RELEASES THE COMPANY, AND ANY AFFILIATED ENTITIES, PARENT COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, PRESENT AND FORMER EMPLOYEES, OWNERS, OFFICERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, PARTNERS, CONTRACTORS, INSURERES, SHAREHOLDERS AND DIRECTORS OF THE FOREGOING (COLLETIVELY THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, LOSSES, COSTS AND EXPENSES IN ANY WAY ARISING OUT OF, OR RESULTING FROM GUEST’S PARTICIPATION IN A SHUTTLE SERVICE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, AND LIABILITIES FOR DEATH, INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GUEST, TO ANY ONE ELSE, OR TO ANY PROPERTY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT SUCH INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL CONDUCT OF THE COMPANY OR ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. GUEST, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELF AND/OR ANY PERSON OR ENTITY ACTING THROUGH OR ON BEHALF OF GUEST, FURTHER AGREES TO DEFEND AND INDEMNIFY THE RELEASED PARTIES, AND TO HOLD THE RELEASED PARTIES HARMLESS, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES, CLIAMS, ACTIONS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEY’S FEES) AND LOSSES OF ANY KIND OR NATURE WHATSOEVER IN ANY WAY ARISING OUT OF, OR RESULTING FROM, GUEST’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SHUTTLE SERVICE.

This Waiver and Release of Claims constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between Guest and the Released Parties, and cancels, terminates, and supersedes any prior agreement or understanding relating to the subject matter hereof. There are no representations, promises, agreements, warranties, covenants, or undertakings other than those contained in this Waiver and Release of Claims.

None of the provisions of this Waiver and Release of Claims can be waived or modified except expressly in writing signed by Guest and the party against whom the waiver or modification is sought to be enforced. Failure of any of the Released Parties to enforce any of their rights hereunder at any time shall not act as a waiver to enforce their rights under this Waiver and Release for same or similar acts at any subsequent time.

• Guest Code of Conduct

You agree to follow the following code of conduct when using the Services and services: 

• You agree to and will abide by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws;
• You will only provide truthful and accurate information, including confirmation of your date of birth;
• You will not harass, threaten or abuse other people when using the Services or the services;
• You understand and acknowledge that smoking is prohibited in all vehicles at all times;
• You understand that pets are not permitted unless agreed upon in advance;
• You understand that AZ Wine Wagon is not responsible for lost or damaged items or any items left in the vehicle during or after use of our services;
• You will not interfere with others’ use or enjoyment of the Services;
• You will not post any content that is obscene or may be hateful or offensive on racial, ethnic, sexual or any other grounds; is harmful, vulgar or distasteful; or is defamatory, libelous, or invades another person’s privacy or proprietary rights;
• You will not collect or store personally identifiable information about any other individual on the Services, or otherwise stalk, contact or harass another user;
• You will not impersonate any other person or misrepresent a relationship with any person or entity, including misrepresenting a relationship with AZ Wine Wagon; similarly, you will not adopt a false identity if the purpose of doing so is to deceive or defraud another;
• You will not post any content that contains any viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code, or other computer software or program designed to interrupt the website or the Services we provide, users’ ability to enjoy the Services, or the proper functioning of any software, hardware or equipment or materials used in connection with the website and the Services;
• You will not use any information on the website or the Services for any commercial purposes, except as expressly authorized by AZ Wine Wagon;
• You will not search, mine or link any data or information to or through the Site without our express consent and authorization; and

AZ WINE WAGON’S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM AMOUNT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL AZ WINE WAGON’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED FIVE DOLLARS ($5.00). THIS LIMITATION IS AZ WINE WAGON’S CUMULATIVE TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY CLAIMS, DEMANDS OR ACTIONS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT, THE SERVICES, OR ANY INFORMATION OR MATERIALS ACCESSIBLE ON OR FROM THE SERVICES.  

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BEHAVIOR WHILE ON THE SERVICES AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD AZ WINE WAGON, ITS LICENSEES, SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS, HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, LIABILITY, COST OR EXPENSE OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) THAT WE MAY INCUR IN CONNECTION WITH A THIRD PARTY CLAIM OR OTHERWISE, IN RELATION TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES (INCLUDING POSTING OF ANY CONTENT) OR ACCESS TO THE SERVICES, OR YOUR VIOLATION OF EITHER THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY.  

• Governing Law

The internal laws of the State of Arizona, without reference to any choice of law provisions, shall govern any claims relating to any use of, or information on the Services.

• Entire Agreement

Together with our privacy policy as posted on our website, these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement (collectively, the “Agreement”) between you and AZ Wine Wagon and any Parties and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter, and may not be amended or modified except in writing or by making such amendments or modifications available on the website.

How far in advance should I book?

'The Bachelorette' 2024 cast: This Arizona man will compete for Jenn Tran's heart

The cast of Jenn Tran's season of "The Bachelorette " has been announced: 25 men will vie for her heart and one of them is from Arizona.

Dakota, a 27-year-old from Paradise Valley , will be on Season 21 of "The Bachelorette" when it premieres in July.

Jenn Tran was on Joey Graziadei’s Season 28 of “The Bachelor” and was among his final six women. The 26-year-old physician assistant student is the first Asian American lead in Bachelor franchise history.

Jenn is from New Jersey and lives in Miami. She is of Vietnamese descent and is bilingual. She enjoys reading, paddleboarding and traveling, according to ABC.

'Bachelorette' 2024 cast: Meet Dakota from Paradise Valley

Dakota is a sommelier and, according to the bio of an Instagram account @kotablue associated with him by Reality Steve, Dakota supposedly works at “SilverLeaf.” There's a Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale.

According to Dakota's bio from ABC, he is ready to sweep Jenn off her feet with his good looks, goofy personality and eternal optimism. He has been a caretaker of others for a lot of his life, and wants a relationship with Jenn where they can be there for each other.

The bio says he is “wise beyond his years” and that he is “very proud” of his career as a sommelier.

“I truly believe the Bachelorette came at a divine time with where I’m at in my life, and Jenn is the kind of woman I hope to meet,” Dakota said in his bio for ABC.

This Scottsdale sewer project is 6 times over budget, but some say it will jump-start development

Scottsdale officials are spending nearly six times more on a city infrastructure project than they originally budgeted for two years ago, one of Scottsdale’s many multi-million-dollar project cost increases over the past few years that have generated controversy.

But it’s not the result of some budget error. Instead, the project was overhauled from a tiny initiative to a massive public infrastructure investment that will make possible some of Scottsdale’s most prominent upcoming developments.

The project is called the “Greenway Hayden Loop Sewer Improvements.” It involves expanding Scottsdale’s sewer system to the largely empty area that sits directly southeast of the Loop 101 and North Scottsdale Road intersection, just north of TPC Scottsdale golf course.

The barren area is a hotspot for developers who want to stake claim to one of the last unused bits of land around Scottsdale. The Arizona Coyotes sought to build a new NHL arena and entertainment district just across the intersection, and the semiconductor manufacturing company ASM also owns a chunk of property there.

That potential for economic growth drove the city's massive and seemingly abrupt increase in spending on the infrastructure project. Some leaders raised the specter of a giveaway to a private developer and questioned if the city had planned poorly at the expense of taxpayers.

City officials originally set aside $12 million for the effort in 2020, when the project was only meant to allow the upcoming Optima McDowell Mountain development to connect to Scottsdale’s water system.

That price ballooned to nearly $68 million over the past five months, with a $25 million uptick in February and a $19 million increase last month. The former was to bolster the city’s work on its own property, while the latter was to reimburse Optima for its private sewer work — something that irked City Councilmember Barry Graham who felt the city could be getting ripped off.

“The original budget was $12 million and now we’re looking at $68 million … This is a 560% increase,” said Graham, who was the only ‘no’ vote on the project plan. He later added that “I question whether we’re getting the best deal,” and argued the reason for the cost increase wasn’t entirely clear.

But the reason behind the increase may be more reasonable than the price hike suggests.

Scottsdale had to change its plan to connect a long list of other high-density developments that are now slated to crop up earlier than was originally expected. They include everything from the Princess Resort to Axon’s future headquarters to a new Banner hospital.

The city’s $25 million expense funds the additional piping needed to cover a larger area around Optima, wider pipes to deliver the needed amount of water to those upcoming developments and the sped-up construction process that will shave four years off the original schedule.

And that dramatically expanded network has to flow through Optima’s section of the sewers, which forces the private developer to construct a larger and more expensive system than it actually needs. The $19 million will cover that excess cost, but Optima still has to fund the 12% to 26% of the system it will actually use.

“We can’t make a private property pay for future private properties. They’re covering their own (costs). We’re simply reimbursing them for things that have nothing to do with them,” said Councilmember Tammy Caputi.

She went on to address criticisms about the overall price hike, saying “it’s a whole different project now. … You’re not even comparing apples to apples anymore.

The city also won’t be stuck with the entire bill when everything is said and done, according to the head of Scottsdale Water Brian Biesemeyer. Owners of the upcoming developments will have to cover at least some of the $19 million reimbursement payment, he said.

“As future development comes, they will have a payback agreement on their parcels to pay for this sewer as it develops,” said Biesmeyer, who echoed Caputi in saying that this has become “a substantially larger project than was envisioned” in 2020.

The scope increase wasn’t the only factor that drove up the cost, however. Biesmeyer said the city opted for longer-lasting and more expensive pipe materials, and it was budgeted using 2019 dollars before the cost of construction materials shot up 40%.

But the broadening of the project plan is far and beyond the largest driver behind Scottsdale’s $25 million increase to fund sewer work on city-owned land in February, which then necessitated the Optima reimbursement last month.

However, Scottsdale would have had to do that work in the future to accommodate the area’s upcoming developments anyway.

Delaying that would have required the city to take a “piecemeal” approach to building out the network, replacing Optima’s smaller pipes with the larger ones the area requires and redesigning the entire network so that the bigger pipes could fit.

Caputi said that strategy would have ensured “construction, traffic, irritation of the residents, more expense down the road.”

Councilmember Solange Whitehead agreed.

“We’re talking about building the whole system now instead of doing it piecemeal,” she said. “One of the problems with doing it piecemeal is that if Optima built just for their specific needs, and down the road all of the rest of the land gets built, the cost of changing (Optima’s whole system) … is on you and me.”

“This is truly saving money in the future by doing the whole project at once. There’s less disruption and less cost.”

Past ‘Love Island USA’ contestants from Arizona

The upcoming "Love Island USA" season doesn't have any contestants from Arizona, but past seasons have.

Johnnie Garcia entered “Love Island USA” Season 5 as one of the Casa Amor girls. She lived in Phoenix and got dumped on Day 30.

Season 5 also had Kenzo Nudo – a bombshell from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, who was living in Scottsdale – and Carmen Kocourek, a 22-year-old who lived in Scottsdale who entered the villa on Day 2.

Kenzo and Carmen came in fourth place at the end of the season as a couple and are still together .

Fan favorite Mackenzie Dipman was on two seasons of “Love Island USA.” The Arizona State University and Chaparral High School (Scottsdale) graduate first appeared in Season 2 on Day 1 and was dumped on Day 26. She had coupled up with Connor Trott . Dipman returned for Season 4 and entered on Day 23 but chose to leave the island on Day 28.

When does ‘Love Island USA’ 2024 start?

"Love Island USA" 2024 premieres at 6 p.m. Pacific time and 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday, June 11. There will be a new episode every day during premiere week and then episodes will stream from Thursdays through Tuesdays.
