A fun day out for your class.

Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel and Spa are delighted to announce our new school tour packages for 2024. Our onsite packages include lunch for all the children as well as planned activities which are tailored to the different age ranges. Teachers and SNA’s will be given complementary tea/coffee and scones.

Our full-day school tour package runs from 9.00 am – 3.00 pm.

We also offer a half-day school tour package from 9.00 am-1.00 pm with one lunch break.

We run our tours by splitting year groups depending on the number attending and work an activity plan out tailored to your needs and requests. Not all classes will want to do the same activities, which we are aware of, so have options to keep all age ranges entertained.

SCHOOL SWIMMING LESSONS

If you would like to organise swimming lessons for your class (primary or secondary school), we would be happy to talk to you about putting together a custom-designed programme for your school or class group.

Lessons take place in our heated indoor swimming pool for an agreed time period over a number of weeks.  Lessons will be delivered by our qualified swimming instructors, experienced in working with children and young people.  We also offer complimentary on-site school bus/coach parking.

We are delighted to send you our 2023 Primary school tours Adventure day special deal which is going down a storm with schools for kids aged between 7-12. Our 80 acre adventure park situated in Shanagolden, county Limerick is the perfect setting for an action packed day out that your students will never forget.

Splatball: Kids are kitted out in camouflage overalls and then broken into two teams that will battle it our over four action packed missions in our specially designed forest Splatball mission zone.

Forest Archery, Once we train the kids on how to shoot a bow and arrow they will set off into the woods in groups under our close supervision where they will seek out 18 3d targets to test their shooting skills on. The targets are set at various distances and difficulty levels that will ensure they are challenged and entertained throughout.

We have a five star Tripadvisor rating and all our staff are Garda vetted. Onsite we have a beautiful sheltered picnic area where your students can relax and enjoy their lunch. We even have a teacher chill out area where you can relax and enjoy your day while we take care of your group.

School tours ideas in Limerick are guaranteed to be a huge success with the team at Delta Lazer and Adventure Centre .

This adventure centre offers a super day out for kids with multiple activities available and some great bundled school tour packages. This is a large play and adventure centre located in a 55,000 square foot facility in Delta Retail Park, just off the main Ballysimon Road. Already a keen choice for schools in the immediate area, visitors are also coming from further afield to enjoy an action packed day out which can be tailored to meet the requirements of teachers and supervisors.

While the class enjoy climbing frames, obstacles, slides and lots more, there’s plenty of room for teachers in the ‘Jolly Roger Cafe’ where hot meals, snacks and drinks are served by friendly and helpful staff.

School Tour packages include both indoor and outdoor activities. Outdoor activities are weather permitting but it’s doubtful the kids will even notice!, with the vast majority of visitors perfectly happy to stay in and enjoy numerous activities like the Soccer Pitch, Bungee Trampolines, Slides and an abundance of climbing frames plus much more. If that wasn’t enough, when they move outdoors they have access to the fab Pirate Ship, Astro Turf Pitch and a host of challenging climbing frames.

This venue mentions Lazer in its name and is renowned as a venue for Lazer tag games. Lazer tag is amn action packed and fun shooting game, using premium quality electronic laser guns with a range of 100mtrs.  Scoring a hit on an opponent means ppoints and teams can battle it out amongst obstacles to earn the most points. The minimum age for Delta Laser Tag and it’s usually priced at about €8 per head. This consists of a 30 minute game of Lazer Tag with a 10 minute briefing beforehand.

ZIPIT Farran Wood, Co. Cork -  a high wire forest adventure park with a difference …  a place where children can climb high into the treetops, swing into cargo nets and whizz down ziplines, secured in their safety harnesses .   Enjoy an exhilarating and challenging outdoor activity in a natural setting, building confidence, teamwork and self-esteem. PRIMARY SCHOOL TOURS: Created to provide students with a greater appreciation of wildlife, Fota Wildlife Park courses are suitable for students from Junior Infants up to 6th class. The content is simplified or made more challenging depending on the age group, but is based on the national education syllabus requirements and can be tailored to compliment any work being completed in the classroom.

GUIDED EDUCATIONAL TOURS: Add a touch of the WILD to your class visit and experience one of the Park’s fun and informative education programs! Make a connection with wildlife during an on-site tour of the park and receive an insight as to what daily life is like for its 1000+ residents!  Explore the Tropical House and Animal Care Building and see many new species!

Students are introduced to woodland ecology and are provided with an opportunity to experience what the life of an ecologist involves.
