Sabrina Carpenter Just Opened for Taylor Swift Wearing a Crystal-and-Lace Corset

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has already stopped at dozens of U.S. cities, but now, it's officially gone international. Last night, Swift descended upon Mexico City, where she'll play four more nights before moving on to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paolo later this year. You know what that means: New countries equal new opening acts, and none other than Sabrina Carpenter is now on the billing. 

Making her Eras Tour debut last night, Carpenter wore a custom outfit by Ukrainian designer Frolov. "The new custom designs we've crafted for Sabrina are essentially twin dresses inspired by the pink gown from our couture collection she wore recently," Creative Director Ivan Frolov said in a statement. "Seeing how she and her styling team loved this look, we've decided to create two new exclusive versions using unique lace designs. The black corset dress has sparkling lace embellished with white crystals and showcases our signature heart-shaped cutout." Scroll down to see the photos and shop Frolov pieces for yourself.

The pop princess is currently on tour opening for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, where many of her heeled boots, short dresses, and mini skirts have gone viral online. Carpenter's style can be described as flirty, fun, and feminine, often using matching gloves, necklaces, platform shoes, belts, corsets, and lots of glitter to accessorize and style different looks.

First known for her role on Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World , Carpenter's style evolution has been interesting to watch. For years, we've seen her sport crop tops and tank dresses on Instagram. With her Disney days behind her, Carpenter developed her personal style to reflect her pop stardom. Since her e mails i can't send Tour, her catchy pop hits along with her sparkly style have been trending topics in fashion and social media.

Carpenter graced the stage at Lollapalooza in this flirty and pink love-inspired look. The embellished Area heart crop top and pink mini skirt embodied Sabrina’s specialization in Y2K-inspired looks.

Sabrina Carpenter brought bejeweled glamour to the stage during Taylor Swift’s “Eras” world tour . The musician opened Swift’s latest show in Brazil during the concert’s international leg — which will also find her performing in Australia and Singapore in 2024, following past appearances in Mexico and Argentina.

While kicking off the concert in Sao Paulo on Friday, Carpenter soared onstage in a pair of sparkling Naked Wolfe boots . The “Emails I Can’t Send” musician’s set — a custom version of the Australian brand’s $245 (was $350) Spice boots — featured stretchy black vegan uppers with closed toes, set atop thick platform soles and 5.1-inch block heels coated in light-catching black crystals.

The sleek pair provided a smooth complement to Carpenter’s attire for the occasion: a black halter-style crop top and matching miniskirt. Each piece was embellished and strung with rows of gleaming crystals in hues of pink, orange, green, blue and purple, creating a bejeweled and multicolored finish.

Carpenter’s appearances on Swift’s tour is continuing her eventful autumn. In addition to dropping her “Fruitcake” holiday EP in November, the “Almost Love” singer kicked off the fall season in September with the release of her latest perfume, Caramel Dream. The sweet fragrance — which retails for $30 on Scent Beauty — features an amber, musk and sandalwood base with notes of vanilla, almond, dark chocolate beans and citrus fruits for a sugary, whimsical scent.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour supports the musician’s eighth album, “Midnights” — as well as the  ten “eras” of albums  she’s released over the course of her career. Held from March 2023 to Dec. 2024, the international concert series features shows in cities including Nashville, Tokyo, Paris and London, with opening acts including Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, Paramore, Gracie Abrams and Gayle. Swift’s “Eras” tour has also featured a variety of “surprise song” performances, special guests — including Ice Spice and Jack Antonoff — and various themed onstage outfits from brands including Christian Louboutin, Versace, Alberta Ferretti, Etro and Roberto Cavalli.

In 2022, the songstress debuted her first fragrance, Sweet Tooth, which was packaged as a chocolate bar and inspired by her love of sweets.

It may be a maxi skirt summer , but celebs have been showing equal amounts of love to the low-rise, super short pleated skirt that was popular back in the 2000s. Sabrina recently performed at the Eventim Apollo in London and was all smiles in a white mini skirt paired with '60s-style gogo boots featuring a chunky platform heel.

She also wore a white bra with heart-shaped cups (see: our earlier comment about Sabs and cute little fashion deets!!) as well as a sheer, bedazzled shirt layered on top.

Her red carpet and concert fashion has become more daring through the years.

Carpenter perfected the sheer trend on and off the stage and is now synonymous with minidresses.

If anyone is in the running for the crown of pop music's princess, it's Sabrina Carpenter .

In the past year, the 24-year-old opened for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour , took the stage at Coachella , made headlines for dating "Saltburn" star Barry Keoghan , and recently released "Espresso," which is on track to become this summer's biggest hit.

But Carpenter is no stranger to the spotlight. Her singing and acting career spans over a decade and includes appearances on Disney Channel TV shows and movies, including "Girl Meets World" and "Adventures in Babysitting."

From child star to pop princess, Carpenter has honed her style just as she has her career. She's become synonymous with playful minidresses onstage and daring sheer looks on the red carpet.

Here's a look at Carpenter's fashion evolution .

During one of her early red-carpet appearances for Nickelodeon in 2014, Carpenter experimented with edgy footwear and darker tones.

She wore a black playsuit cinched at the waist with a silver belt. Carpenter coordinated with a bold silver necklace, keeping her hair in loose, natural curls.

Being around 5 feet tall, Carpenter is known for wearing platform footwear. This early red-carpet appearance, where she wore a pair of black-and-gold laced platform heels with bedazzled stockings, was no different.

She attended her first Emmys in a gothic Gemy Maalouf gown.

The gown featured silver embroidery and a semi-sheer skirt. Carpenter paired it with black strappy heels and a gray marbled clutch.

In 2017, Carpenter was spotted rocking daring fashion in the front row at notable runway shows.

For example, at Coach's NYFW show that year, she wore a sheer skirt with a pink button-up, which she layered under a red biker jacket decorated with poppies and black-and-white lace trim. She completed the look with black stilettos.

That year, she also started experimenting with more daring looks while performing.

In July 2017, she took to the stage in LA wearing a sheer lace dress over black zip-up shorts. Carpenter coordinated her all-black look with chunky black boot heels with gold sequins.

For her first VMAs appearance in 2018, the "Espresso" singer wore an asymmetrical Versace gown, complete with a high collar and slit.

She paired the bandage-style dress with nude pointed-toe heels, white nail polish, and minimal jewelry. She styled her hair in a loose bun.

Carpenter put her signature playful spin on the power suit at the 2019 premiere of "Tall Girl."

She ditched a shirt and accessorized her 1970s-inspired silver look with a dramatic pink dew-drop earring.

The pop princess went all in on the "naked" dress trend at the 2020 MTV Movie and TV Awards.

Her sparkly see-through gown, designed by Ralph and Russo, had one long sleeve. She wore it with black lingerie and platform heels.

Carpenter mastered edginess when she arrived at the 2021 Savage X Fenty Show premiere wearing a white T-shirt as a dress.

The minidress was cinched at the waist with a black studded belt. She leaned into the show's sultry aesthetic with wet hair and red lipstick.

She nailed the 2022 Met Gala's "Gilded Glamour" dress code in a gold ensemble designed by Julien Dossena at Paco Rabanne.

The heavy sequin-and-rhinestone ensemble consisted of a flowing high-waisted skirt and a coordinating bralette. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo heels.

Carpenter described the event as her "Super Bowl" to Vogue and praised her outfit for being "shockingly comfortable," adding to her confidence.

Later that year, Carpenter walked the American Music Awards red carpet in a silver fringed Oscar de la Renta two-piece.

The outfit consisted of a fringed crop top and miniskirt. She accessorized with coordinating silver jewelry and heels.

She partnered with Paco Rabanne again for her daring 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party look.

Her dress featured a ruched white skirt and a semi-sheer top with floral accents around the chest and wrists.

While flashier songs like “Fast Times” and “Because I Liked a Boy” got a lot of initial attention, it was “Nonsense” that grew into the set’s runaway hit — thanks, in no small part, to Carpenter’s hilarious improvised outros on her global Emails I Can’t Send Tour.

In essence, every night Carpenter performs “Nonsense,” she changes the lyrics of the outro on the fly. Sometimes she’s simply paying tribute to the city in which she’s performing — and, other times, she’s testing how far she can push the limits of sexually suggestive lyrics.

The original “Nonsense” outro reads: “This song catchier than chickenpox is/ I bet your house is where my other sock is/ Woke up this morning, thought I’d write a pop hit, ha-ha/ How quickly can you take your clothes off? Pop quiz.”

“Nonsense” peaked at No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 , her second career entry on the chart; the single also reached the top 10 on Pop Airplay (No. 10). Emails I Can’t Send debuted and peaked at No. 23, becoming the highest peaking and longest charting LP of her career.

Taylor Swift announced on June 2, 2023, that she would be bringing her record-breaking Eras Tour to Latin America, with Carpenter serving as her opener across the summer and fall in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. She would also open Eras Tour shows in Australia and Singapore from Feb. 16-March 9, 2024.

Naturally, the singer-songwriter brought her “Nonsense” outro shenanigans to her first couple Eras Tour performances, and she’s already gifted fans with a number of hilarious renditions of the track. Mexico City, Night 1

For the Aug. 24 Eras Tour show — the first of four consecutive nights at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium — Sabrina sang: “I only date him if he pays my rent-ay/ If you are a Swiftie, you’re mi gente/ Let me hear you make some noise DF.”

For her first night on the Australian leg of the Eras Tour (Feb. 16), Sabrina Carpenter took the Aussies right into the deep end with the salacious “Nonsense” outro — and she also impressed some locals with her knowledge of the proper pronunciation of the city’s name.

Singapore Night 2 brought along both a reference to the gorgeous Jewel Changi — an entertainment and retail complex that features an enormous waterfall structure — and a sweet reaction from Carpenter’s Oscar-nominated beau Barry Keoghan. The Saltburn actor cheered as she sang:

Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and actress Sabrina Carpenter kicked off her sold out emails i can't send Tour on Thursday, September 29th at Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.

As part of the highly-anticipated 13-show run supporting her recent album emails i can't send, Sabrina will play major markets across the country and perform at legendary venues such as The Wiltern in Los Angeles and two nights at New York City's iconic Webster Hall.

Sabrina Carpenter treated the crowd to songs off of her latest record including "Vicious" and "because i liked a boy" as well as some of her biggest hits such as "Sue Me" and "Honeymoon Fades."

This tour comes on the heels of the release of Sabrina's fifth studio album emails i can't send which chronicles her various transformations through ultra-personal songwriting as well as passionate, palpable, and powerful performances. Whether it be the extreme dynamics of "Tornado Warnings" or the honest and powerful of "because i liked a boy," the album showcases her at her most raw and real.

In its first week, emails i can't send amassed over 15 million streams and garnered critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, People, Billboard, USA Today, and many more. The album debuted at #23 in the Top 25 Billboard 200 marking her best career chart debut to date.

Sabrina Carpenter has enchanted an audience of millions as a singer, songwriter, actress, designer, producer and style icon. In her music, she has delivered one anthem after another on stage and in the studio, earning multiple gold certifications, and performing to sold out crowds far and wide. Hi Vogue, I'm Sabrina Carpenter,

and I'm gonna show you what I wear in a week.

Okay, this would probably be my

most comfortable studio look.

I spend most of my time in life at the studio.

If I'm not on set, I'll be writing.

I think vintage t-shirts are what I live and sleep

and breathe in all the time.

This one I just found in New York a few weeks ago,

and I'm obsessed with it because it's half Rihanna

have Eminem from the tour that they went on together,

that I was not privileged to go to, but you know what?

We lived through the shirt now, so it's good.

And then this bag, and also this jacket are both from Nell.

I found this jacket like a miracle.

It just like stuck out to me.

And it's been a staple in my wardrobe ever since.

A black leather blazer you can never go wrong with.

Then we have the jeans, which are also like my staple.

I wear these too much,

but I think they're super dope because the way that they

button they have this like weird little cross button

they're a repurposed garment.

And then these shoes are also really fun.

And the funny thing about being in the studio is that

I will take these shoes off.

I will take this jacket off

and it will probably just be me in a t-shirt and jeans

so I can be comfortable and write some songs.

I think shopping vintage also means finding pieces

that are really one of a kind,

especially when I can find like a t-shirt with like an

artist that I love, or it's just a funny graphic.

Like every time I'm traveling internationally,

I always try to go to different thrift stores around

and find pieces that really feel one of a kind.

This would be what I would consider an event look.

Some really cute accessories with this outfit,

which I love that I think really tie it together.

These jewels by Marla Laws, the necklace says porte-bonheur,

which means lucky charm.

I have a tattoo, it's my only tattoo that says lucky.

And it's just always been a really special word to me

for a lot of different reasons.

And it's my birthstone as well.

Taurus, hey, how are you doing?

And then this little bag which I love so much,

it's also kind of like a mint green, lives in the world.

My favorite thing about the look is just

how effortless it feels.

And I think there's something really important about

feeling effortless whenever you can.

One of my worst event wardrobe choices,

and my fans will never let me live it down

was this gold dress.

I was like 15.

We all have our moments good and bad.

It's humbling.

The bad moments are so humbling.

And then one of my best wardrobe moments,

I once wore this pink Selene dress to

a woman in music event and the carpet was also pink.

Some looks age well, other looks don't.

I think this one is kind of guaranteed the age well

because you can't go wrong with black.

Very classic look.

This look is really giving belly button cleavage,

and honestly I'd wear this to Whole Foods.

So I feel like event or grocery store,

you know, produce aisle.

I feel like I'd make a friend in this in the produce aisle.

This is my next look and I think I would describe this look

for me as coming out of a pandemic

and now everyone's doing lunch meetings in person

as opposed to on Zoom.

So now you're dressing up more than you normally would,

but it's still casual.

Put that in writing if you can on the screen.

I think there's something really comfortable

and easy about a slip dress and a huge part of my everyday

style is taking a cool statement piece jacket

and throwing it over that.

The shoes are these Jimmy Choo thigh-high boots.

It's up pretty high, like I'm five foot tall.

So the boot is my leg.

This is a Selene bag and they're all 50 shades of brown.

It's giving fall, it's giving autumn.

Okay, so this would probably be something that I would wear

on a date night.

This isn't a Nanushka suit, black leather pants.

I guess if I'm going on a date with you in leather pants

I'm already in love with you.

But I always would dress it up with like

a white Louis Vuitton.

I think these are kind of my go-to shoes for everything.

A lot of my fans see me wearing white heels

with most of my looks just 'cause I think they always

somehow tie everything together.

And then this cute little handbag, which I love,

which is a Hunting Season handbag, you know, to carry gum.

What else do you need on dates?

Ooh, that's PG-13.

So great, so this bag carries it all pretty much and yeah,

something I feel really confident in.

One of the most important things about, I guess,

a date night or just in general,

like going out with friends,

whenever it would be is to just feel like a more accentuated

version of yourself.

I love menswear.

I'm a huge fan of suits and this is, you know vegan leather,

which I also love,

but just something I feel super comfortable in.

I love the little tube top underneath

'cause it's just very simple and basic.

Yeah and I think it should just like make you

super comfortable to be yourself.

Alright, this is a very quintessential Sabrina look.

But just some of like my classic staple pieces

are in this look.

Basically turtlenecks have been a huge part of my life

as a staple.

When I was little my mom used to wear them all the time

and I always used to make fun of her

and I was like why are you wearing that?

It makes you look like an old lady.

I was a mean kid, I guess.

I think I hit like 15 and I was like, I love these.

This is actually my staple bag.

I kind of take this everywhere.

It's Louis Vuitton.

Little black belt I think is super essential to just have,

this is Nili Lotan.

And this is a little vintage Burberry skirt that I found.

This is actually a coat that I found

when I was scouring the internet.

It's Charlotte Simone.

The last way I would like to spice this up a little bit

is I would change my flat boots into higher,

just for you Vogue.

Just in case you didn't think I was like extra.

Now I am, here's my coat.

And then for the belt you can obviously keep it undone.

I think I'm gonna tie it.

Now I look like I own an empire, you know,

or like I have like six kids and a nanny.

I love this cause it's giving Almost Famous,

which is one of my favorite movies.

I also take a lot of inspiration from like iconic female

movie characters in general when it comes to like

creating fun looks.

And then I love this jewelry.

It's by Jamie Wolf.

The little hearts are something that I kind of put

throughout a lot of my wardrobe.

My nails obviously have little hearts on them.

I like love.

You know who doesn't, it's a fun thing.

Alright, if I was I'm so lucky to be invited to a party,

then this is what I would wear to a party.

So many things I love about it.

One it's like just this little mini dress.

But the dress itself is like a bit of a number,

which is fun.

Dressing it up with some tights.

My classic staple, black Louis Vuittons.

Can't go wrong.

Bienen Davis little bag to hold lint, air, credit cards.

Because you have such a statement piece of a dress

you don't have to do too much to dress it up.

I think something that I really try to channel

when I'm going to parties,

because I don't love going to parties,

I think they're very scary.

So I really try to wear something that makes me feel bold.

I think this dress is definitely like a piece of its own,

which I think just makes you feel more confident

in one of those settings.

And it's very fun.

It's like playing dress up and I loved playing dress up

as a little girl.

So now I just do it as a big girl and yeah,

I think this is what I would wear to a party

or even just going out with friends for the evening.

Actually I have a lyric in a song that said something about

like lips and soles being red.

My lips are not red, so we're gonna ignore that.

But I do love a red sole.

And I think especially with the black and white look,

it just popped, you know what I mean?

Like if they didn't see the dress,

they definitely saw the red sole.

So either way they're gonna talk.

Now I'm on my way to the airport.

This is my airport travel look.

It's the most comfortable outfit I've literally ever put on

in my life.

I feel like I'm in a cloud.

The tracksuit is by a Wet,

which is an all black owned designer that was started

in the pandemic to benefit garment workers in New York.

These sneakers have been worn many times as you can tell.

And then I would probably like

do a little sunglasses moment.

These make me feel like the matrix kind of.

I really do like to travel with my own pillow.

So that's a huge reason why I usually have a big bag.

So this look I would best describe as something that I would

either wear in the travel van on my way to set before I get

into my character's wardrobe or if I'm on tour

and we're, you know, traveling from one city to the next

in the bus just 'cause it's super cozy.

And I don't really have to think about it,

like the top and bottom match already.

So a lot of the work is done for me.

It's monochromatic, it's, it's a vibe.

And that is everything I wear in a week.

For those that know Taylor Swift fans “All Too Well,” you know that Eras Tour ticket holders will have “Enchanted” and “Bejeweled” outfits for the upcoming shows — especially after we saw the way Swifties showed up and showed out for the first leg of the tour.

The Eras Tour began on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona. After traversing the continental United States, Mexico, areas of South America, and Asia, Swift is about to spend her summer touring all over Europe before returning stateside for a run of shows and finally bringing the tour to the Great White North.

In addition to being a crazy-long stadium tour, the Eras Tour is unique in that songs from every Taylor Swift album will be played (and our fingers are crossed that “TTPD” makes its Eras debut this weekend!), inspiring fans to dress up to match their favorite albums — Taylor’s Version, of course.

And make sure you don’t forget the “13”s! Swift’s lucky number used to feature heavily in her tour costumes, and while she doesn’t write the number on her hand before every show anymore, fans definitely still are.

Taylor Swift has smashed a triumphant set in front of enormous crowds in Edinburgh on her record-breaking Eras tour, telling fans it was "the wildest way to welcome a lass". 

As she welcomed the crowd, she announced it was officially the highest attended stadium show in Scottish history.

"Oh hi," she casually told the more than 70,000 people who came to see her perform.

The 34-year-old star initially took to the stage in a diamante encrusted corseted leotard and bejewelled cowboy boots.

She later admitted: "This tour has been the most fun I've had in my entire life….my one regret now is that I really should have come to perform in Scotland more.

"I can't stop staring at you, I'm captivated by this audience."

Blasting through her biggest hits in a set of 40+ songs, on stage for more than three hours, she promised to take fans on a "grand adventure" they'd never forget. She certainly did that.

"After tonight, you're going to think about us and the memories we made," she promised.

The evening was "unforgettable", she told the crowd, while her last song of the night, Karma, was dedicated to the crowd.

"Edinburgh you have given us everything you could possibly give us tonight."

It was a pinch yourself evening for Swifties fortunate enough to get a ticket. Lyrics memorised, costumes perfected.

The show a musical marathon which demonstrated not only why Swift is arguably one of the greatest songwriters of modern pop music but also one of the world's most accomplished performers.

The show itself, paced perfectly to hold the audience's interest with slick dance routines and theatrical, at times fantastical, staging.

The screams of support for her most famous hits were deafening. Countless fans leaving Murrayfield hoarse after she told the story of her eight Eras whilst delivering the ultimate singalong.

This was a long day for many, a hardened few sat outside since dawn to be among the first in-line to secure a front row spot.

"Anything's worth it for Taylor," Julia had told me at 7am outside the stadium. Her friend admitting she'd "sell my kidneys, probably both lungs" to get close to the star.

Why does she elicit such a reaction? Despite her billionaire status, Swift has somehow remained an artist whose voice remains real, authentic and honest.

Her songwriting - a shared diary of sorts - resonating all the more for her openness about her flaws, bad break-ups, sharing with fans not only the joy of falling in love, but the heartbreak.

The crowd at Murrayfield were word-perfect for her hits like You Belong With Me, the stadium echoing with noise during We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

If performing songs from her Tortured Poets Department Era - her latest album written about her ill-fated London loves - took on more poignancy for Swift this being the UK leg of her tour, she gave no indication on stage.

An all but faultless performance but for the acoustic section of her show, where the star was forced to briefly stop playing the guitar, saying: "My hand has frozen in a weird cramp... this is so embarrassing... its like performing with a claw. No one relates."

While it's understandable that many balk at the stupidly expensive price of some VIP packages, few could question Taylor's commitment to offering her fans the ultimate experience. The confetti canons and fireworks, a needless distraction really from what she does best - singing out.

A one-woman economy boosting machine, Swift's 15 UK shows are projected by some to boost the UK economy by almost £1bn with fans shelling out, not only on tickets, but accommodation, travel, and pre-show parties.

I spoke to people who travelled here from Spain, The Netherlands, America, India and even Australia.

Fans who'd spent months planning their costumes, painstakingly threading bracelets, embroidering jackets, which is undoubtedly half the fun.

While this level of pop obsession is nothing new, that one artist can still achieve this in an age where we are swamped with musical choice speaks volumes as to the power of Swift's music.

Forget about politicians touring the country, Taylor Swift's whereabouts will be what's dominating the national conversation for vast swathes of the country over the next month.

While some may scoff at the tweeness of swapping friendship bracelets, dressing-up and glitter - there is a delightfulness to being a part of the Swift crowd which is a warm and welcoming world.

Swift's proving herself to be, not only a prolific songwriter, but the ultimate showwoman.

That's it Swifties, the first UK Eras tour show has come to an end.

Taylor Swift closed Murrayfield Stadium with a huge confetti cannon display as she performed Karma for her adoring fans. 

The superstar has been performing for more than three hours and the crowd has spent that time cheering, clapping and singing their hearts out. 

She will be back at the stadium for another show tomorrow night, and the night after, being moving on to Anfield Stadium in Liverpool. 

Rewinding slightly to the start of the show, here's the moment Taylor Swift spoke to her fans in Edinburgh during her opening act. 

The superstar welcomed them to the Eras tour, telling them the last time she was in Scotland was more than a decade ago. 

"Tonight's concert is the most highly attended show in Scottish history," she said. 

"This is the wildest way to welcome a lass to your city." 

Murrayfield Stadium was lit up by fans during Taylor Swift's performance of Daylight from her Lover album. 

Thousands of fans held up their glowing bracelets and phones during the song.

The show is almost coming to an end and Swift is going out in her Midnights era. 

She kicks off with a rendition of Lavender Haze, emerging on the stage in a faux fur purple coat and black knee-high boots. 

Taylor has moved to her acoustic section now - a moment fans have been waiting for. 

This is the time the superstar performs two surprise tracks, which change at every show. 

Many had thought she might pick Castles Crumbling from Speak Now as a reference to Edinburgh Castle.

But as she begins the set, with Would've Should've Could've from Midnights, she is forced to briefly stop playing her guitar. 

"My hand has frozen in a weird cramp…this is so embarrassing….its like performing with a claw," she tells the crowd.

"No one relates."

A baker has created a Swift-themed cake to celebrate the star's arrival and is hoping it makes it to her. 

Cathryn Klawikowska, 34, took eight hours to bake the nine-layer red velvet treat.

Edyta Matysiak took three days to make the figurine.

Ms Klawikowska, head designer at 3D Cakes near Murrayfield, hopes it will end up backstage at the stadium.

She added: "I'm hoping to get this to Taylor though."

Swift turns now to her latest album - the Tortured Poets Department. 

She kicks off the era with But Daddy I Love Him and comes out wearing a gorgeous white gown covered in lyrics. 

"I love you, it's ruining my life" can be seen across it - lyrics from her biggest hit of the album Fortnight.

E xcitement is building ahead of Taylor Swift’s imminent arrival in the UK and Ireland as ‘Swifties’ consider what imaginative outfits they will be wearing to her energetic three-hour shows.

The Tortured Poets Department singer will kick start the next leg of The Eras Tour at Edinburgh’s esteemed Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, June 7, followed by Liverpool, Cardiff, London and Dublin.

This tour’s set list consists of more than 40 songs grouped into 11 distinct acts that portray all of pop star’s iconic studio albums conceptually.

The captivating sets encompass everything from her self-titled country album Taylor Swift, which was released in 2006 when she was just 16-years-old, up until her eleventh studio pop album The Tortured Poets Department, released in May this year.

To celebrate the evolution of the 34-year-old songwriter, since the tour commenced in Glendale, Arizona, in March, her loyal fan base have been dressing up as their favourite eras, with creative, sparkly and edgy attire.

Here, we unravel some of these trends to provide concertgoers with some inspiration for their own era outfits.

Dakota Fanning Just Wore 5 Different Looks Within 48 Hours

That must be a record.

Dakota Fanning has been running all around town promoting not one, but two, new projects that she’s involved in: her upcoming movie The Watchers and a docu-series she executive produced along with her sister Elle . And given the sheer amount of press photos she’s appeared in these last few days, the actor is clearly working double time to get the word out.

Fanning is no stranger to the media circuit that comes with promoting a film. She has been doing this since she was a kid, after all. It makes sense, then, that the star appeared happy and in her element as she changed into back-to-back springtime looks — all completely different — for two days of events in NYC. This was all after she attended The Watchers premiere wearing a gorgeous green Loewe gown just one day before (as one does).

Dakota’s Five Impressive Looks

Fanning has been working with celebrity stylist Samantha McMillen for years ( so has her sister Elle ). After all that time together, McMillen surely knows what works for her client and what she’ll really like.

Fanning’s first look of the day was a white printed Prada dress covered in sweet purple flowers. It had a thin double belt with silver buckled hardware. Her metallic silver sandals complemented the feminine look.

Fanning changed to a more casual one-shoulder airy linen maxi with flat Mary Jane shoes later in the day. She accessorized with a pair of burgundy tinted wayfarer sunglasses and a woven Bottega Veneta shoulder bag .

The next day, Fanning was up and at ‘em early to appear on the Today Show and dressed in a butter-yellow tailored vest with matching ankle-cuffed trousers from Italian brand The Andamane. Fanning paired her pastel yellow look with a pair of white satin platform sandals, but kept the same square-shaped sunglasses from the day before.

In between meetings, the actress stepped outside of her hotel in a crew neck black sweater and white trousers. She finished the look with nude Loewe sneakers and carried a monogrammed Louis Vuitton duffle. Fanning took some time to greet fans and sign a few autographs.

Fanning wore her fifth and final look yesterday as she filmed a segment for the CBS Morning show. She posed for the cameras outside of their Times Square studio wearing a beautiful jade green short-sleeved midi dress by Victoria Beckham paired with gold strappy sandals.

I can’t wait to see what else Fanning and McMillen have in store. But for now, I hope Dakota gets some well deserved rest.
