Following up on the huge success of their sold-out event at Howler earlier this year, Melbourne progressive and psychedelic bands Khan and Lucid Planet are taking their show on the road for Lucid Planet’s first ever Australian tour; a mind-expanding co-headlined music event like no other, set to hit six stages across five states and territories between late August and early October this year!

----------------------------------------------------- Lucid Planet is a psychedelic, progressive band from Melbourne, Australia combining influences of psychedelic bass music with djent, tribal and progressive rock for a divergent sound that interfuses genres. Following explosive performances at 170 Russell, Tanglewood Festival and a sold-out Howler Melbourne event, Lucid Planet embark on their first ever Australian Tour, bringing forth their unique and powerful display of music, visuals and lights (with the added special inclusion of a brand-new song!), performing some of the most popular tracks from their self-titled debut album Lucid Planet along with songs from their most recent album Lucid Planet II,  MetalStorm.Net 's Best Progressive Album of 2020. ----------------------------------------------------- Khan meld hazy psychedelia and heavy stoner riffs with a penchant for progressive rhythms and almost dirge-like, industrial-scale crescendos. The songs are lyrically evocative, exuding a sense of despondency and melancholy. Vocally, their songs waver from ethereal falsetto and hypnotic crooning to impassioned wailing punctuated by occasional guttural screams. After touring Australia, Europe and the UK in 2022, Melbourne-based heavy psych/prog trio Khan return in 2023 with their third album 'Creatures', their heaviest, darkest and most dynamic release to date.

They will be joined by instrumental desert/heavy psych cosmonauts OKO and fuzzy instrumental post-rockers New Life Odyssey.

About Lucid Planet

Lucid Planet is an Austin, Texas based Alternative Rock/Punk band comprised of lead singer/guitarist Laura Alonzo, bassist Alex Valdez, lead guitarist Jared Richter, and drummer Kyle Christy. They released their debut album ‘Walls & War’ in 2017, which showcased the band's signature sound of heavy punk riffs coupled with softer alt-rock vibes. The LP earned the band recognition among the Austin music scene, and they soon began receiving invitations to play festivals such as SXSW, Levitation Festival, and Blues On The Green. Building on their success, in 2020 they released their follow-up album ‘Side Effects’. The eleven track record is a more mature offering that incorporates elements of classic hard rock and modern post-punk. They have been performing around the country to promote the release, and their fan base continues to grow.

Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance to Make Public Debut During Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 23, 2022

Professional driver Ben Collins will pilot the 1,050-hp Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance at Goodwood Hillclimb

NEWARK, CA — June 21, 2022 — Lucid Group , Inc., (NASDAQ: LCID) today announced that the Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance will make its public debut at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, from June 23-26. This all-electric luxury sedan will make multiple runs up the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb each day of the festival, piloted by professional driver Ben Collins .

With 1,050 horsepower (783 kW), the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance is the most powerful electric vehicle currently available in North America – and with an EPA-estimated driving range of 446 miles, still more than any other brands’ electric vehicles, it doesn’t compromise.

Although the Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance is currently available only in the US and Canada, two Lucid Air models that will be offered in Europe will also be on display at the Electric Avenue area throughout the event: Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance, with 1,111 hp (828 kW) and an estimated 900 km* of driving range; and Lucid Air Grand Touring, Lucid’s initial volume product, with 819 hp (611 kW). Further information about Lucid’s launch plans for Europe can be found here .

The year 2022 is shaping up to be a seminal year for Lucid on a global scale, with deliveries of Lucid Air Grand Touring and Grand Touring Performance in progress to customers in North America, the opening of the company’s first  European Studio in Munich, Germany , and the announcement of its first overseas manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia .

Visited the Lucid Studio at Valley Fair where they have 2 cars you can look at. Fortunately it was not crowded when I stopped by, so there was no wait to check out the inside of the car. The car definitely feels luxurious, with its customizable seats that adjusts a bazillion ways to your liking. These are also massaging seats. Very spacious inside. There is a touch screen to control everything, and this control pad retracts to allow access to some storage space behind it. The only thing I didn't like about the control panel is having to use it to pop open the glove box; there is no physical button or level to open it manually. Of course this adds to the streamlined appearance in the interior of the car.

Horrible experiencia con un empleado de esa agencia se llama Christian, llegamos totalmente emocionados en la presentacion de la nueva camioneta Gravity, vimos que habian personas viendo el nuevo carro por dentro y al entrar a verlo esta persona fue muy grocera y prepotente, nos trato de una manera sumamente racista hacia nosotros anexo fotografias en el que hay personas dentro viendo el mismo carro y a las cuales no tuviermos ningun atercado con esta persona (Christian) y que al ir vestidos de forma de casual y mexicanos penso que no podiamos adquirir una camionera de esa gama, por cierto manejamos un Tesla y pensabamos en optar por adquirir la nueva Lucid pero el trato de esta persona hizo que nos amargara el gran momento de ver el carro que queriamos adquirir, creo que todas las compañias tienen que capacitar de una manera muy exaustiva a su personal con el trato al cliente, y mas aun cuando es el primer dia en la exibicion de un nuevo carro, que triste la verdad que haya este tipo de personas que aun nos traten de esta manera tan discriminatoria hacia los mexicanos. por cierto solicite varias veces hablar con el gerente de la agencia pero nunca estuvo disponible. Aun estando el presidente de la compañia Lucid trataron de alejarnos oara que el no escuchara nuestra incorformidad con el trato hacia nosotros.

I had a fantastic experience today with Alan Wong. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Alan fully educated me about the Lucid sales experience as well as the functionality of the car. The test drive and overall studio experience was exceptional. If you're interested in buying a Lucid please ask for Alan--you won't be disappointed!

I placed a down payment for Lucid in November 2022 and was invited to order in March 2023. Each time I asked about the car's status, I was invited to order more options, "as this would help get it to the assembly line sooner. I was so disappointed to read a recent Wall Street Journal article that put the Lucid orders in perspective. The company has so far only delivered 1406 units so far this year. The Saudi Arabia Sovereign Wealth Fund now owns 62% of the company. With Saudi's human rights record, I decided to cancel my order and bought a new Tesla instead. The Lucid was my car of choice.

We just canceled our order. We loved the car and we want to purchase a Lucid Air Touring, however, there is no one to answer questions or to clarify details. There seems to be no communication at t Lucid and we receive inconsistent answers. We have tries multiple times with different people and we are so frustrated that we have decided that this is not the fun experience we should have when purchasing a car. It feels like no one at Lucid is really interested in selling us the car.

Horrible stage room only one car to go inside and take a look. A guy sat in there for 15 MINS no joke while the salesperson spoke to him inconsiderate of the line waiting. Keep the sales pitch short and the time inside short. Another sales guy told them to wrap it up and they didnt. Can't even consider the car when you can't even get to see inside it. From what we did see it was not impressive for the markup. I'll stick to Tesla.

I already have been driving a TESLA but was curious of the LUCID models that I've seen on YouTube channel. So I gave them a call and arrived at the San Jose Fairfield mall location. They had a 2016 prototype on the floor but the most recent model was parked outside for test drive to those who can put down a deposit of $300-$1000 for one of their two models for a grand touring edition and a pure edition vehicle. Chad was the sales man who previously worked for Tesla a few years ago was quite helpful very informative and generous on his customer service. He had a great energy and really believes in what he is representing in which is the reason why he left Tesla. Your Lucid vehicle is something to check out because it reminds me of the S class level Mercedes interior with lots of cargo space and very very powerful with a range that is plentiful for traveling.
