One of the best experiences of my life. We set up this tour to celebrate my 60 birthday. We had six people in our group (all adults) and everyone had a great time. Mel was amazing!!! He was extremely knowledgeable about all the varietals and all the vineyards. Everything went off seamlessly. He arrived early to pick us up and everything went off without a hitch. We had a very tight schedule but he made everything work.

We have used Apex 3 (maybe 4?) times and every time was great! Each trip was for a day in wine country.. I honestly have never used any other car service so I have nothing to compare to but I don’t feel the need to try another service. First off, making a reservation with Nelli is super easy and she responds very promptly. Each time we have used Apex, the driver was always on time, pleasant and the cars always super clean! Our latest day trip in Napa was with Mel. He was super cool and chill.. kept us on time from winery to winery (or lunch), entertaining and friendly but not to the point where it was too much or annoying at all. You can definitely tell Mel loves his job and can get along with pretty much any client! Can’t wait to make it back up to wine country… we will definitely use Apex again!

We came to Napa/Sonoma for a couples trip and thankfully booked a stretch limo for two days to take us around. Bruce was amazing! Our family rented a limo for a wine tour in Napa last Sunday. We choose Preferred Limo because the price was reasonable and dispatcher was very helpful on the phone. Even before the tour began, we had a list of wineries that dispatcher of Preferred Limo suggested to us during the booking process. We also asked people around and had some preferences where to go. When limo arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. Just FYI, in order to get to our house, you need to drive quite a road, it is always dirt and mud there. Limo including wheels was spotless. We think driver got there earlier and had time to clean the car. That was a big plus already! Wine tour itself was very interesting and fitted our party just right. Driver looked at our list and made couple suggestions. In 6 hours we were able to visit 7 wineries, had perfect picnic lunch, and over all had a wonderful time! We felt that service was outstanding! If we ever can afford to do it again, Preferred Limo will be the only choice for us.P.S. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

If I was to look back at my life and try to think about a day that stood out for being the most memorable, it would have to the day I went on a wine tour in Napa Valley with my fiance. She had been prompting me to do something romantic for her; something that isn't my strongest suit. Luckily enough, I came across Alex from Preferred Limos. I was reluctant to hire a third person to come along with us, but I was not familiar with the area and my fiance was very eager to travel in a limo. It worked out perfectly at the end, since we were able to experience the beautiful valleys in a lovely black stretch limo. Unfortunately, my fiance dropped our camera and we haven't been able to recover the photographs of our experience just yet. Preferred Limos is one of the most professional wine tour operators I've ever come across. Having already been on a tour of the picturesque Napa Valley with them with my friends, I was initially skeptical about going on another tour, this time with my husband. However, much to my surprise, our driver knew a whole new set of wineries which he took us to. I was not bored for even a second. The limousine was so comfortable and elegant - we really felt classy riding through the beautiful highlands of California in it. Best of all, it came with a fully stocked fridge, with every possible amenity you can think of! Don't hesitate in letting the driver plan out your day - I can almost guarantee he will not disappoint you.

First, the price was great for 7 women touring wine country (final price already included tax and tip and was still less then other companies).Second, AJ, our driver, was on-time, professional, and very knowledgeable of the area, great wineries and where we would have the best time with the time we had.We had received a few suggestions from friends before leaving for Napa and gave those to AJ (though we didn't have to go to all of them). AJ then took into consideration our wine tastes, the number of people in our group, and the amount of time we had to tour. He took us to a total of 6 wineries for tastings, 2 of which were ones that were recommended and the others were at the recommendation of AJ. We didn't have to worry about anything the rest of the day, he handled it all! The limousine was also in great shape, clean and with a fully stocked bar (not that we needed too much more alcohol)! I found Nick through yelp - and I'm so glad I did! Nick was incredible. It was so easy to book and communicate with him and his pricing was incredibly reasonable. We booked him for my sister's birthday. We had Nick plan the day for us - we told him our preferences and he nailed it. He booked smaller, family-owned vineyards which made the experience so special and he booked us private wine tastings. It truly was the best tastings we've ever done - the private wine tastings let us learn so much more about the winery and the wines themselves, and it was an absolute blast. Nick's van was awesome - he had sparkling wine for us as a toast, and his van was stocked with water and fun snacks. He was prompt at picking us up and it was so fun chatting with him as we drove around and hearing the knowledge he had about Napa valley. We learned so much from him! Nick was knowledgeable, friendly, respectful, and courteous! He got us to all of our reservations on time and was a great host with drinks and snacks at the ready. Would recommend!

cannot say enough good things about Nick and the wine tours he plans! Yesterday was my third tour with him and, once again, he knocked it out od the park! Our first tour was 11 years ago, and he has consistently provide a phenomenal experience! Nick has introduced us to wonderful wineries with lovely hosts and hostesses and great wine club options. He picks places that meet the need of the group we are with, and he's consistently hired by our friends when they return to Napa after visiting with us. Nick and his limo van provide peace of mind. Simple as that. My large party of 10 enjoyed touring through Napa's wineries without worrying about a DD. It was such a treat being able to travel, laugh, and sing together in one car instead of three, which really helped us focus on the celebration at hand. Northern California is home to many magical places, but when it comes to food, wine, and scenery, there’s perhaps nowhere more magical than Napa Valley .

Happiness is not a state of mind, but a trip to Napa Valley.

And though no one really needs an excuse to visit Wine Country , we’re always happy to have one, especially when it’s in the form of new places to discover and enjoy. And by “new places,” we obviously mean all the amazing new restaurants , wineries , tasting rooms , and, lately, even some truly fantastic cocktail bars. If you’re looking for an excuse to venture to Napa Valley this year, here are just a few of our new favorite spots to drink and dine.

Well, you have the chance to make that happen as a limited number of festival presale tickets are now on sale at BottleRockNapaValley.com .

These are general admission ducats, costing $426 each (including fees) and are on sale while supplies last. Information about other levels of ticketing (VIP, etc.) will be released at a later date.

The three-day festival will once again take place over Memorial weekend, May 23-25, 2025, at the Napa Valley Expo.

Word of this presale comes quickly on the heels of the 2024 BottleRock, which just finished up its three-day run on Sunday (May 26).

The 2024 festival drew capacity crowds to see such acts as Pearl Jam, Megan Thee Stallion and Ed Sheeran.

Music | jurors in trump’s hush money trial zero in on testimony of key witnesses as deliberations resume, music | review: bottlerock napa valley kicks off 2024 festival with array of highlights, megan thee stallion, stevie nicks headline day 1.

With dozens of acts performing from noon to almost 10 p.m., Friday offered two headliners — Nicks and Megan — who definitely delivered. Yet, there were plenty of fine sets from lesser-known acts on the bill as well. Notably, Chevy Metal turned in two blistering sets of hard rock that had people shouting along in joy.

The festival continues through Sunday at the Napa Valley Expo with such artists as The Offspring, Queens of the Stone Age, Stephen Marley, Norah Jones and Ed Sheeran set to perform.

Of course, music was only part of the story, given that the food and drink offerings — two of Napa Valley’s true calling cards — are also major reasons why this festival keeps selling out year after year.

People just plain adore this festival, which began in 2013 and has been held every year since, except for the COVID-impacted year of 2020. That sentiment is made clear by looking at the sea of smiles in the audience as well as just by talking with people and hearing how much they look forward to attending each year.

And it’s easy to understand why when your talking about a festival that has hosted such acts as Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, Foo Fighters, Stevie Wonder, Modest Mouse and Metallica over the years.

Now, we can add Nicks to that list, since the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer — who was first inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac and then as a solo artist — finally made it to the festival on her third try. She was first booked to play in 2020, which was the year that the event didn’t end up happening, and then again in the make-up year of 2021, only to remove herself from the bill due to concerns of touring in the midst of COVID.

The third time proved to be the charm for Nicks, as she delighted the crowd at the biggie JaM Cellars Stage with a roughly 90-minute set that included such fan favorites as “Stand Back,” “Gold Dust Woman” and “Edge of Seventeen.”

The former Bay Area resident — who attended both Menlo-Atherton High School and San Jose State University — sounded strong on the microphone as she mixed solo hits, Fleetwood Mac classics and covers of the Buffalo Springfield gem “For What It’s Worth” and Led Zeppelin’s powerful “Rock and Roll.”

While Nicks was twirling about the JaM Cellars Stage, Megan Thee Stallion and her legion of accompanying dancers were twerking up a storm over at the festival’s other main showcase — the Verizon Stage.

Megan Thee Stallion was a commanding presence on the stage, drawing big applause from her devoted crowd as she ran through material from her two studio albums (2020’s Good News and 2022’s “Traumazine”) and other offerings. The segment that I witnessed was strong enough to make me even more interested in attending the hip-hop star’s upcoming show at Chase Center in San Francisco on June 23.

Early in the day, BoyWithUke delivered a fun set for a massive gathering of fans, many of whom probably learned about him on Tik-Tok. Sure, he’s got a bit of a gimmick going on, following in the footsteps of everyone from KISS to deadmau5 as he hides his face behind a mask, but it’s the songwriting and pleasant folk-pop sound that really sells the whole thing.

Also, Chris Shiflett — who is best known for his guitar work in the Foo Fighters — did a good job strutting his solo stuff over on the Prudential Stage. He used the time to showcase a whole other side of his music, with his solo material being more along the lines of roots-blues-rock than the Foos’ patented alternative sounds.

Yet, it was another Foo Fighters-related band that arguably delivered the best set on Day 1, as the wonderfully named Chevy Metal kicked off an incredible clinic in hard rock at 5:30 p.m. on the Prudential Stage. (The group also performed earlier in the day on VIP Village Stage.)

The all-covers trio once featured Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins (who died in 2022), but now has his son, Shane, playing drums.

And — wow — can that kid play.

The 16-year-old Hawkins, who reportedly had to get a pass to leave school in order to come play BottleRock, was an absolute beast on the kit as the group tore through such material as Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love,” Thin Lizzy’s “Jailbreak” and the Police’s “Next to You.” Led Zeppelin’s legendary “Moby Dick,” not surprisingly, provided an excellent showcase for the young Hawkins’ drumming.

The song of the set, though, was the cover of Black Sabbath’s mighty “Children of the Grave,” which got an assist from yet another teenager — the Bay Area’s own Grace Bowers — who we were told had just learned how to play those incredible Tony Iommi riffs backstage. (It was a big day for Bowers, who also opened the JaM Cellars Stage at 12:30 p.m.)

Beyond the music, there were also plenty of highlights and hijinks happening on the increasingly popular Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage, where celebrity chefs join forces with rock stars, sports figures and other notables to put on cooking demonstrations, all under the watchful eye of longtime host Liam Mayclem.

And, really, you never know what might happen on this stage. For instance, Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee would close out his segment with chef Tyler Florence by using a pair of large cow femurs to crash out some beats on a drum set built from Williams Sonoma pots and pans.

Yeah, that’s the kind of thing you’re only going to see at BottleRock Napa Valley.
