Inscription aux Tests des Exigences Préalables à l’entrée en formation (TEP)

L’IPMS organise des sessions de passage aux TEP. Pour vous inscrire, il vous faudra :  1) Remplir le formulaire d'inscription ci-dessous  2) Joindre les documents obligatoires  3) Régler les frais de dossier de 75€ Vous recevrez ensuite une convocation par mail .

L'Institut Professionnel des Métiers du Sport ( IPMS ) est un organisme de formation pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent devenir animateur et éducateur sportif. Depuis 25 ans, l'IPMS prépare ses étudiants au diplôme d’Etat d’Educateur Sportif : le Brevet Professionnel (BPJEPS). L'IPMS compte 18 établissements : Tours, Paris-Nanterre, Grenoble, Le Havre, La Rochelle, Nantes, Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux, Metz, Reims, Strasbourg, Saint-Louis, Saint-Denis, Limoges, Lille, Toulon, Pau, Dijon.

Avec le BPJEPS en poche, il est possible d'encadrer tout type de public dans une pratique de loisirs et de découverte des activités physiques ou sportives. 

L'IPMS propose 3 spécialités parmi la vingtaine existante pour le BPJEPS, les 3 spécialités retenues sont celles qui offrent le plus de débouchés en terme d'emploi. il s'agit de : 

• BPJEPS APT :  Activités de la Forme
• BPJEPS AF :  Activités de la Forme
• BPJEPS AAN : Activités Aquatiques et de la Natation

L’IPMS propose également une classe préparatoire au BPJEPS qui permet d'acquérir les compétences techniques, pédagogiques, théoriques et professionnelles pour entrer en formation BPJEPS.

Acteur de la formation professionnelle dans les métiers du sport depuis 25 ans, l'Institut Professionnel des Métiers du Sport, présent sur Paris-Nanterre, Tours, Nantes, Strasbourg, Lyon, Bordeaux, Metz, La Réunion, Le Havre, La Rochelle, Nice, Grenoble, et Reims.  Nous avons su nous développer en tenant compte des différentes évolutions du marché, afin de toujours rester en adéquation avec la demande des entreprises et des institutions délivrant les diplômes. Notre établissement s'est orienté à ce jour sur 3 spécialités (Activité de la Forme, Activité Physique pour Tous et Activité Aquatique de la Natation) qui correspondent aux BPJEPS les plus porteurs en termes d'emplois.

Le titulaire du BPJEPS devient animateur et éducateur sportif. Il encadre tout type de public dans une pratique de loisirs et de découverte en utilisant les activités physiques ou sportives comme supports techniques. Il organise et accompagne les projets d’activités de sa structure.

Consider volunteering your time for nats 2024, embassy suites pre-registration. hot 03/26/24 update.

 Attached is the link for the Embassy Suites Pre-registration form. This form DOES NOT book your room, it simply puts you on the list for the block rate of $209/night. The first 185 people that are registered via this form will have first access to the block when Embassy Suites opens its online reservation system. When Embassy Suites goes live with their reservation system, the first 185 people on this list will be contacted that reservations are open, and those people will have a limited window of opportunity to complete their reservation. If you do not respond within the time limit, then you forfeit that position and the next person in line (#186-) gains the opportunity.  

We are sorry that this has turned into a convoluted process – but this is a brand-new hotel and we are on their timetable. Although the hotel will be open well before our convention in July, it is NOT YET open, nor is Embassy Suites taking reservations. Do not waste time calling Embassy Suites, they will not take reservations over the phone for this specific hotel.

 Pre-registration will open on the 3rd of February, 2024 and will close on June 15th, 2024. It offers discount as well as allow you quicker access to the convention upon your arrival. Non-members of IPMS may also attend.

International Plastic Modelers' Society / USA

About ipms/usa.

IPMS/USA is the United States Branch of the International Plastic Modelers' Society, whose roots can be traced to the startup of the first IPMS National Branch during the 1960's in Great Britain. In 1964 a US-based modeler applied for a charter to start the US Branch. In the ensuing 4 decades, IPMS/USA has become a 5,000 member, all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the modeling hobby while providing a venue for modelers to share their skills in a social setting, along with friendly but spirited competition in the form of local, regional, and national contests and conventions. As this is written, there are over 220 active US chapters (including groups in Canada and the Philippines as well as one "cyber-chapter" existing entirely on the internet). These chapters are organized into 13 geographically-determined Regions, overseen by Regional Coordinators. The IPMS/USA Executive Board, made up of elected and appointed members, serves as the overall governing body for IPMS/USA.

IPMS/USA produces the Modelers' Journal, an all-color magazine supplied to our members 6 times each year. Sample copies of the Journal are available upon request, and you'll find several cover shots elsewhere in this handout.

In addition, IPMS/USA maintains one of the largest and most-visited public websites in the modeling community ( ipmsusa.org ). Members and visitors can view product reviews, chapter and contest information, see examples of members' work, and view images of contest, museum walkarounds, and the like. A members-only Forum allows discussion of specific topics of interest amongst our membership. The remainder of the website is open to the modeling public and sees thousands of hits weekly.

IPMS/USA runs a host of programs designed to attract novice and experienced modelers, and a very specific program to honor and reward our troops posted in harms' way overseas. A brief summary:

Local, Regional, and National Contests and Conventions

IPMS/USA manages a three-tiered structure of these events throughout the 50 States. Contests range from local, chapter-led invitational gatherings through larger Regional events and up to the National Contest and Convention, held every summer in a rotating location, often featuring over 2,000 entries along with seminars, tours, banquets, and the making and re-establishing of friendships, both domestic and international in nature.

ABC (Adult Basic Course)

A six week course targeted for newer, novice, or returning modelers interested in learning the basics of model building. ABC promotes the hobby by offering a consecutively scheduled, 6-week, 2 hour per session course. Attendees learn every aspect of model construction using a donated mid-level kit, which is completed during the 6 weeks of coaching.

In summary, IPMS/USA is the only national organization that provides an organized structure for scale modelers to meet, exchange tips and techniques, socialize, and enter their projects into competition at three distinct levels.
