Plan Your Visit to Boulder

Getting to Boulder is easy thanks to its convenient location. Start making your travel plans and exploring things to do in the place we call home.

Excuse/Visit Verification

Excuse/visit verification forms are issued only when a student attends a formal experience hosted by the Office of Admissions. This includes in-person formalized experiences as well as virtual experiences run by Admissions. An excuse/verification form may also be issued if a student officially meets with our counselor on duty or Admissions personnel who are able to log the interaction on the student record.

Explore CU Boulder

• Events fill quickly and we cannot predict how long registration will be open, once a date is full, it is full. Due to space constraints and to maintain guest safety, we are not able to add additional spots or make exceptions.  
• We highly recommend you register for the event of your choice and then book your travel (flights, hotel, etc.). If you book travel and then try to register for an event that is already full, we are not able to make an exception . 
• If you register for the waiting list, we cannot predict the chances of being moved from the waiting list. Folks will be moved into the event, from the waiting list, if someone cancels their registration. If you are moved from the waiting list, you will be notified via email.
• We are not able to accept walk-ins for our events.
• This program is for prospective students and those who have started and/or are close to completing the application.
• Students who have completed the application and are awaiting their final admission decision may attend, but please note that this program will have detailed information on how the application process works.​
• Up to 3 guests are welcome to join the student for the program. We allow only three (3) guests per student to maximize space for prospective students.
