Capacity (100 people at one time) Our pavilion is a great place to host corporate or large group events looking for a genuine rustic mountain adventure experience. This is a unique and memorable adventure that everyone will be talking about for years to come. The pavilion can host groups of up to 100 people and we have catering options available. Pavilion and Tower Our pavilion is a three sided wooden structure with a large fire pit situated on the top of Panorama Peak in Roosevelt National Forest. The longer open side facing south east looks down on the beautiful mountains and city lights of Down Town Denver and the front range of Colorado. (See Pictures) The Viewing Tower a short distance from the Pavilion is three stories high with the inner room newly remodel as a wine tasting room that has full size windows on three sides with a tasting table and wine decor. To top it off venture to roof where it is open air with a railed rooftop and seating. The views will take your breath away from its 360 degree views of not only the entire mountain range and Estes Park but the entire Front Range of Colorado, and on a clear day 4 states. Under the tower is a nice seating area with a gas fire pit for those that want to keep their feet on the ground. History of Trail Our off road tours and special events access our pavilion and viewing tower via Pole Hill Road. This is a class 5 off road trail that was the main route for pioneers and Native American tribes when accessing Estes Park before the 1930s. Therefore any tours or events at the pavilion will have transportation provided by our guides and our amazing fleet of rock crawling off trucks. Wahoo! Catering and Food Options We offer catering and can usually accommodate special requests such as live music on all of our tours/events.. We have options from either a simple hot dog weenie roast, amazing sandwich box lunches that includes chips, cookies, and small salad from Shakes Alive, a wine and cheese tasting in our tour or the most common is Smoken Daves BBQ that we have a full feast your group can enjoy. We have had events where the people have their own chefs and decorations and we provided the location and transportation for set up crew along with the tour on the day of the event for the guest. You can talk with our staff at any time for custom experiences you would like to create. We have had many successful large group events at our pavilion and would love to show you and your group what we are made of! Hope to talk to you soon!

About the Business
First and Foremost. We absolutely are living our dreams because we really love what we do. Participate as a guest on one of our tours and you will immediately feel like you are part of our extended family. Our goal is that you will feel great, leave your worries behind and participate in an adventure that you and your family will be talking about for years to come. My mom and dad took me and my three brothers to truly beautiful places on real off-road adventures with the mighty Toyota Land Cruiser. They taught us how to fish, canoe, read a map, shoot a gun and really have fun on our expeditions. As I got older I kept working in the city but was drawn to move back to the mountains. My family and I eventually moved to Estes Park and started a little company with one truck and one guide. Just me. What make us really different from anyone else in the field is that we re-invest and re-invent ourselves constantly. As an example our flagship vehicle that we designed and built is the first vehicle ever to have 9 foot gull wing doors with a convertible Lexan top that can transform from near full convertible to fully closed and maintain a staggering usable viewing area of over 96% when it is closed! Don't be surprised when total strangers start taking pictures of you and your group in the truck. Seat quality and and seating configuration also plays a big role for your comfort and safety. If you are looking at other companies ask about seating, your back will thank you... …

I cannot speak more highly of Wildside!!! Our Jeep tour was the #1 highlight of not only Estes Park, but our whole Colorado trip! Our guide Aaron was absolutely incredible. Funny, knowledgable, so passionate about what he does, the nature, the wildlife, trees, everything. Even checking in at headquarters was a joy - everyone working was so happy, friendly, welcoming, and wonderful. Instant mood booster! Aaron customized our tour to what we were interested in / what we wanted to see and it was nothing short of spectacular. We saw hundreds of elk, a MOOSE, birds, deer, waterfalls, just so much wildlife. We had visited the park that morning for a few hours and went to totally different places that we would have never seen otherwise. Do not look further than Wildside to make your trip exceptional!

I would give Dave, our tour guide, 10 stars if I could. He was everything we needed and wanted in a tour guide (and then some). I can't say enough great things about this tour from start to finish. We were in Estes Park for the week with my parents who have mobility concerns. Before we booked, we expressed some of our concerns to the owner who responded promptly. Talk about a great start! The day of the tour, Dave was energetic and entertaining. The custom-made jeeps were perfect for the trip, and Dave provided an incredible wealth of information. Weather prevented us from our expected tour (Top of the World), but he quickly redirected us and found other areas to explore instead. We have no regrets! Remember what I originally asked about my parents? Dave went out of his way to make sure my father could get on and off the jeep, assisting throughout the tour. That alone is incredible! We won't hold his Chicago preference over him, though I suppose I should deduct some points for that (I kid, I kid). Seriously - this tour was simply wonderful, and we had no regrets. We had spent 4 days in RMNP prior to the jeep tour, and we still loved every minute of it!
Moose at Sheep Lake - not a guarantee on a tour, but a pleasant surprise!
If I could leave 6 stars I would. A friend recommended this business to us for an off road 4X4 excursion up in Estes Park. We are SO glad they did! Everything about it was perfect, from booking to the end of it. We booked the Panoramic Peak Photo Tour, considered a moderate off road excursion. It was perfect! A HUGE shout out to our driver/guide Sadie-she was so knowledgeable, so fun-you could tell she really enjoyed her job. The truck was fabulous with just a tiny bit of roller coaster-y action (however, definitely empty your bladder before you hop on!) The tour was 3 1/2 hours and we went all over! I learned more about Aspens than I ever knew, we enjoyed incredible views and had fun the entire time. I would recommend this company to anyone!
Amazing views and knowledge on the entire tour. Jesica was fantastic!
We took the Winter Wonderland Tour at the end of December and it was wonderful! Our guide, Floyd, was incredibly knowledgeable about the town and national park and was a masterful storyteller. He sincerely engaged with our group and ensured we were comfortable and entertained throughout. Our group ranged in age from 2-71 and everyone enjoyed it. You can't get better views than those provided in the glass top vehicle and we were very warm and cozy throughout. We highly recommend!

Hello Megan! Thank you so much for your review! We are thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed your tour with Floyd! Our guides are top-notch and go above and beyond for our guests! We hope to see you again for more adventures!
Wayne did a phenomenal job leading us through an unforgettable adventure on the TOP OF THE WORLD TOUR. When I was planning my family trip, I received a lot of negative comments telling me this would be a waste of money since I also have a rental car. I am so glad I DIDNT listen! The knowledge is invaluable. From learning about medicinal plants to history and even a love story, we were entertained and amazed the entire trip. No amount of photos can truly capture the elegance and grandeur your eyes will witness, therefore if you are on the edge about making that reservation- click that book now button and get ready for a great adventure. Thank you Wayne for being so accommodating and making my family feel at home.

Took roller coaster tour June 2023, this is a great way to see the mountains and learn about the ecosystem, plus super fun! Guide took care of everyone, brought lots of water and snacks and gives plenty of time for photos and rest. Also drives a wicked backwoods course.
We did the top of the world tour. Floyd was our guide and he absolutely made the tour fantastic! He's super knowledgeable and gives lots of interesting facts with lots of back story and at the same time puts some fun flare to it. I will say if you're going when it's cold... dress extremely warm because it was super cold. I had a blast though!
We had a awesome time! It was well worth the money. We will do it again when we visit Estes Park in the future. Jessica was a great guide. Not only was she a awesome off road driver, she was very knowledgeable on the Aspen tree. I know she taught our group!! Thanks from the Indiana Crew
Fantastic fun, beauty and informative tour I have ever experienced! Dan Your knowledge of the Park, animals. Rocks trees and every fun joke made this trip the very best!! This company has it ALL! Great guides, beautiful comfy seats, great prices, and value their guests with fluffy blankets, snacks, and water.
