जानकारी के लिए हम आप लोगों को यह बता दे कि मनाली हिमाचल प्रदेश का एक हिल स्टेशन है जो दुनिया भर में अपनी अपार सुंदरता के लिए प्रसिद्ध है. मनाली हिमाचल प्रदेश की राजधानी शिमला से करीब 250 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर हिमालय की पहाड़ियों पर मौजूद हैं.

मनाली वैसे तो एक हिल​ स्टेशन है और यही वजह है कि यहां पर देखने के लिए विशेष तौर पर खूबसूरत पर्वत और वादियां हैं. लेकिन इनके अलावा मनाली का भारत के इतिहास और धर्म से भी बेहद गहरा संबंध रहा है. इसलिए मनाली में खूबसूरत पर्वत और पहाड़ों के अलावा ऐसे कई धार्मिक स्थान है जो बेहद प्रसिद्ध हैं.

1. द मॉल रोड़​ – Manali Visiting Places

यदि आप लोगों को घूमने फिरने का बहुत अधिक शौक है और आप कुछ हिल​ स्टेशन पर गए होंगे तो आपने Mall Road का नाम जरूर सुना होगा. दरअसल Mall Road उस जगह को कहा जाता है जहां पर खरीदारी करने के लिए दुकानें, भोजन करने के लिए छोटे-मोटे रेस्तरां और ठहरने के लिए होटल होती है.

जिस तरह शिमला और मसूरी में घूमने के लिए Mall Road है ठीक उसी तरह मनाली में भी मॉल रोड़ है जो बेहद पसंदीदा जगह है. मनाली के Mall Road पर दोनों तरफ ठहरने के लिए होटल, खरीदारी के लिए दुकानें और खाना खाने के लिए कई अच्छे भोजनालय मौजूद है.

शाम के समय मॉल रोड़ पर लोगों की खचाखच भीड़ देखने को मिलती है और कुछ खास मौकों पर कई तरह के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं जिनमें अधिक मात्रा में लोग शामिल होते हैं. सच कहूं तो मनाली का Mall Road है वह इंटरटेनमेंट जगह है जहां पर कोई भी व्यक्ति बोरियत का अनुभव नहीं करता हैं.

हिडिंबा देवी का वर्णन महाभारत काल में पांडव पुत्र भीम की पत्नी के रूप में मिलता है. पैगोड़ा शैली में बने हुए इस मंदिर का निर्माण करीब 500 साल पहले राजा बहादुर शाह ने किया था. मंदिर देखने में अत्यंत सुंदर है और यही विशेष पहचान भी है. हिडिंबा देवी के मंदिर के आसपास देवदार के ऊंचे ऊंचे पेड़ लगे हुए हैं जिसकी वजह से यहां का नजारा बेहद मनोरम लगता है.

गर्मी के दिनों में जहां हिडिंबा देवी के मंदिर के आसपास हरियाली नजर आती है तो वहीं पर सर्दी के दिनों में दूर दूर तक बर्फ ही नजर आती है. इसे देखकर ऐसा लगता है कि सफेद चादर बिछा दी गई है. इस मंदिर की खूबसूरती और यहां की लोकप्रियता का आलम यह है कि जो भी पर्यटक मनाली घूमने के लिए जाता है वह एक बार यहां जरूर आता है.

3. रोहतांग दर्रा – Tourist Places in Manali

वो ऐसा कहां जाता हैं ना कि, यदि आगरा गए और ताजमहल ना देखा तो क्या खाक आगरा गए भाई. ठीक उसी तरह मनाली जाने वाले पर्यटक यदि रोहतांग दर्रा ना जाए तो उनकी इस यात्रा अभी अधूरी है. रोहतांग दर्रा मनाली से करीब 50 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर लेह लद्दाख मार्ग पर है.

यहां पर जाने के लिए मनाली से दिन में किसी भी समय टैक्सी मिल जाती है. यहां पर आप लोगों को 12 महीने बर्फ से ढके हुए पहाड़ और प्रकृति का अत्यंत मनोरम नजारा देखने को मिलता है. सर्दियों के दिनों में रोहतांग दर्रा से लेकर लेह तक बर्फ़ बेहद अधिक गिरती है जिसकी वजह से इस मौसम में यहां पर जाना संभव नहीं है.

लेकिन यदि आप मनाली दिसंबर के महीने में जाते हैं तो बर्फ गिरने के शुरुआती दिनों में आप यहां पर जा सकते हैं. इसके अलावा यदि आप रोहतांग दर्रा जाना चाहते हैं तो आप लोगों को खासकर गर्मी के दिनों में जाना चाहिए.

गर्मी के दिनों में भी यहां पर बर्फ से ढके पहाड़ों की वजह से बेहद ठंडी होती है यहां का मौसम भी आशिकाना होता है. यही वजह है कि हनीमून पर जाने वाले कपल या दोस्तों का ग्रुप रोहतांग दर्रा जाना अधिक पसंद करते हैं.

4. सोलंग नाला – Places Near Manali

Manali hill station से करीब 14 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर मौजूद सोलंग नाला को सोलंग नुल्लाह के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. सोलंग नाला को विशेष तौर पर यहां मौजूद 300 फीट ऊंची स्की लिफ्ट के लिए जाना जाता है.

स्की लिफ्ट के Adventure का आनंद उठाने के लिए पर्यटक दूर-दूर से यहां पर आना पसंद करते हैं. इसके अलावा यहां आप लोगों को ग्लेशियर और बर्फ से लदे हुए मनमोहक पहाड़ों और वादियों की खूबसूरती देखने को मिलती है.

साल 2021 में जब मैं पहली बार अपनी मनाली यात्रा के दौरान यहां पर गया था तो जहां की सुंदरता ने मुझे मोह लिया था. सोलंग नाला से कुछ ही दूरी पर जगतसुख नाम का एक खूबसूरत पर्यटन स्थल है जो देखने योग्य है. इस जगह को मनाली की प्रारंभिक राजधानी के तौर पर जाना जाता है.

5. वशिष्ठ कुण्ड

मनाली के The Mall Road से करीब 4 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर मौजूद वशिष्ट कुंड शहर में धर्म और आस्था का एक बेहद बार केंद्र माना जाता है. ऐतिहासिक रूप से यहां पर पत्थरों से बने हुए दो प्राचीन मंदिर देखने को मिलते हैं. इनमें से एक मंदिर भगवान श्रीराम को दूसरा मंदिर ऋषि वशिष्ठ जी को समर्पित है.

इन मंदिरों की एक विशेषता और यह है कि ये एक दूसरे के विपरीत दिशा में है. धर्म और आस्था पर विश्वास रखने वाले पर्यटक ही नहीं बल्कि ऐतिहासिक विषयों में रूचि रखने वाले लोग भी यहां पर आना पसंद करते हैं. मनाली के वशिष्ट गांव में मौजूद इस वशिष्ठ मंदिर के निकट है गर्म पानी का एक झरना है जिसके बारे में ऐसा कहा जाता है कि, इस पानी से स्नान करने से सारे रोगों से मुक्ति मिलती है.

लगभग 4000 साल से भी अधिक पुराना यह मंदिर मनाली की शान मनाया जाता है. इसलिए आप मना नहीं जाते हैं तो आपको एक बार जरूर यहां पर जाना चाहिए.

6. बौद्ध मठ

हम आप लोगों को बता दें कि बौद्ध मठ की अपनी एक अलग ही विशेषता होती है. बौद्ध मठ सिर्फ मनाली ही नहीं बल्कि लेह लद्दाख, सिक्किम और अरुणाचल प्रदेश जैसे सभी जगह के देखने योग्य हैं. लेकिन यदि आप मनाली जाते हैं तो यहां का प्रसिद्ध बौद्ध मठ गोधन थेकचोकलिंग आप लोगों को जरूर देखना चाहिए.

यह मठ मनाली में बेहद प्रसिद्ध है और यही वजह है कि यहां पर दूर-दूर से आए हुए शरनार्थी बसे हुए हैं. गोधन थेकचोकलिंग मठ का निर्माण करीब 1969 के आसपास में तिब्बत से आए हुए शरणार्थियों ने बनवाया था. यह मठ मुख्य रूप से बौद्ध धर्म को समर्पित है और इसलिए इनमें उनकी धर्म और संस्कृति की झलक को साफ देखा जा सकता है.

शहर की भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी से कुछ समय निकालकर लोग शांति की तलाश में इन मठ पर आते हैं. यहां का शांत वातावरण और आस्था का अदभुत संगम स्वयं को ढूंढने में मदद करता है.

8. ओल्ड मनाली

मनाली के बस स्टेशन से करीब 20 से 21 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर पहाड़ों पर मौजूद अर्जुन गुफा का संबंधित महाभारत काल के पांडव पुत्र अर्जुन से हैं. कुछ पौराणिक कथाओं में इस बात का उल्लेख मिलता है कि, पांडवों के 12 वर्ष के वनवास के दौरान अर्जुन ने इस गुफा में तपस्या की थी.

निकटतम रेलवे स्टेशन जोगींदर नगर है जो मंडी-पठानकोट मार्ग पर 148 किलोमीटर दूर एक संकीर्ण गेज ट्रैक है। किरातपुर कुल्लू-चंडीगढ़ राजमार्ग पर 221 किमी दूर एक और रेलवे स्टेशन है। एक और पास का रेलवे स्टेशन उना है जो लगभग 232 किमी दूर है

निकटतम हवाई अड्डा कुल्लू-मनाली हवाई अड्डा है व् मणिकर्ण से 36 किमी दूर है। दिल्ली, चंडीगढ़ और शिमला से उड़ानें उपलब्ध हैं। दिल्ली से, कुल्लू-मनाली हवाई अड्डे तक पहुंचने में लगभग ढाई घंटे लगते हैं।

यह मंदिर एक गुफा में बना हुआ है जो देवी हिडिम्बा को समर्पित है। हिडिम्बा महाभारत काल में हिडिंब राक्षस की बहिन थी। Manali Tourist Places आने वाले टूरिस्ट इस मंदिर की खूबसूरती को देखने के लिए इस स्थान पर जरूर आते हैं।

8.तिब्बती बुद्धिस्ट मॉनस्टरी  (Tibetan Buddhist Monastery )

9.व्यास नदी में राफ्टिंग  ( Rafting in Beas River )

Manali Himachal Pradesh / मनाली, हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्‍लु जिले का एक हिस्‍सा है जो हिमाचल की राजधानी शिमला से 250 किमी. की दूरी पर स्थित है। यह स्थान पर्यटकों की पहली पसंद है और ऐसा हिल स्‍टेशन है जहां पर्यटक सबसे ज्‍यादा आते है। समुद्र तल से 2050 मीटर की ऊँचाई पर स्थित मनाली व्यास नदी के किनारे बसा हुआ है। सर्दियों में मनाली का तापमान 0° से नीचे पहुँच जाता है। मनाली में आप यहाँ के ख़ूबसूरत प्राकृतिक दृश्यों के अलावा हाइकिंग, पैराग्लाइडिंग, राफ्टिंग, ट्रैकिंग, कायकिंग जैसे खेलों का भी आनंद उठा सकते हैं। यह स्थान हनीमून गंतव्य के रूप में फेमस है।

मनाली कुल्लू से उत्तर दिशा में केवल 40 किमी की दूरी पर लेह की ओर जाने वाले राष्‍ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर घाटी के सिरे के पास स्थित है। मनाली भारत का प्रसिद्ध पर्वतीय स्थल है। मनाली के जंगली फूलों और सेब के बगीचों से छनकर आती सुंगंधित हवाएँ दिलो दिमाग को ताज़गी से भर देती हैं। सबसे पहले बर्फ़ से ढकी हुई पहाडियाँ, साफ़ पानी वाली व्‍यास नदी दिखाई देती है। दूसरी ओर देवदार और पाइन के पेड़, छोटे-छोटे खेत और फलों के बागान दिखाई देते हैं।

हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, मनाली का नाम मनु से उत्‍पन्‍न हुआ है जिन्‍हे सृष्टि के रचयिता भगवान ब्रहमा ने बनाया था। ऐसा माना जाता है कि मनु इसी जगह पर जीवन के सात चक्रों में बने और मिटे थे। मनाली की हिंदू धर्म में काफी मान्‍यता है जिसे जीवन के 7 चक्रों रिवर्स सेज से सम्‍बन्धित माना जाता है।

यह जगह जब शरद ऋतु आती है तो नीला आसमान एकदम निर्मल दिखाई देने लगता है। दिसंबर महीने तक हरियाली चली जाती है, लेकिन अब भी जंगल में लंबे-चौड़े देवदार के ऊंचे पेड़ सिर उठाए खड़े रहते हैं। सर्दियां आने पर पहाड़ों की ढलानों पर बर्फ की सफेद चादर-सी बिछ जाती है। इस बात में कोई शक नहीं कि यह पश्चिमी हिमालय की सबसे खुशनुमा जगह है।

मनाली, यहां होने वाली साहसिक गतिविधियों के कारण भी जाना जाता है, यहां कई साहसिक गतिविधियों का आयोजन समय – समय पर किया जाता है जैसे – पर्वतारोहण, माउंटेन बाइकिंग, नदी राफ्टिंग, ट्रैकिंग, जॉरविंग और पैराग्लाइडिंग। मनाली के पास में रोहतांग दर्रा, देव डिव्‍वा बेस कैंप, पिन नार्वती पास, बाल झील आदि है जो पर्यटकों को अवश्‍य भाते हैं। मनाली में माउंटेन बाइकिंग भी की जा सकती है लेकिन यहां बाइकिंग करने का अच्‍छा और उचित समय सितम्‍बर के महीने में होता है। इस दौरान सड़को पर बर्फ जमा नहीं होती है और गाड़ी फिसलने का डर नहीं रहता है।

मनाली से हस्तशिल्प का सामान और कालीन (कारपेट) की ख़रीददारी सैलानी अक्सर करते हैं। मनाली के ऊन के शॉल भी काफ़ी लोकप्रिय हैं। इन शॉलों को कशीदाकारी से सजाया जाता है। मनाली के बाज़ारों में तिब्बती हस्तशिल्प का सामान बड़ी मात्रा में मिलता है। घर की सजावट, उपहार और स्मारिकाओं की निशानी के तौर पर इन्हें ख़रीदा जा सकता है।

इसे मानव बस्तियों की अंतिम सीमा मानने के कारण इसे प्राचीन समय में कुलांतपीठ भी कहा जाता था। लेकिन महाकाव्यों-रामायण, महाभारत और विष्णु पुराण में इसका उल्लेख इसी नाम से हुआ है।

1). रोहतांग पास या रोहतांग दर्रा – rohtang pass in hindi.

यह दर्रा, दुनिया की सबसे ऊंची चलने वाली रोड़ है जहां हर साल लाखों पर्यटक इस लॉफी पहाड़ पर भ्रमण करने आते हैं। यह दर्रा समुद्र स्‍तर से 4111 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित है जहां से मनाली का शानदार दृश्‍य दिखाई पड़ता है। मनाली से इस दर्रा की दूरी 51 किमी. है। यहां से पहाडों, सुंदर दृश्‍यों वाली भूमि और ग्‍लेशियर का शानदार दृश्‍य देखा जा सकता है। इन सभी के अलावा इस पर्यटन स्‍थल में आकर पर्यटक ट्रैकिंग, माउंटेन बाइकिंग, पैरालाइडिंग और स्किंईंग भी कर सकते हैं।

2). सोलांग घाटी – Solang Valley Manali in Hindi

हिमाचल प्रदेश की मनाली घाटी में स्थित सोलंग नाला ऐसा स्थल है जो सैलानियों, साहसिक पर्यटन के शौकीनों, रोमांचक क्रीड़ा प्रेमियों और फिल्मी हस्तियों को बार-बार आने का न्यौता देता दिखता है। सोलांग घाटी मनाली की प्रसिद्ध और नामीगिरामी पर्यटन स्‍थल है।

300 मीटर की ऊंचाई पर स्थित यह घाटी पर्यटकों के कौतूहल को बढ़ा देती है। इस घाटी को स्‍नो प्‍वांइट के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। यह व्‍यास कुंड और सोलांग घाटी के बीच में ही स्थित है। सर्दियों के दौरान पर्यटक यहां आयोजित होने वाली स्किईंग प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेते हैं। यह प्रतियोगिता सर्दियों के दौरान विंटर स्किईंग फेस्टिवल के नाम से आयोजित की जाती है। यहां आकर पर्यटक पैरालाइडिंग, जारॅविंग और घुड़सवारी का लुत्‍फ उठा सकते हैं। यहां एक मंदिर भी है जो भगवान शिव को समर्पित है। यह मंदिर पहाडी की चोटी पर स्थित है जिसमें साल में हजारों पर्यटक आकर दर्शन करते हैं।

3). भरीगु झील – Bhrigu Lake in Hindi

इस झील का हिंदू धर्म में धार्मिक महत्‍व है। यह झील हिमालय नदी के तट पर स्थित है जिसे ऋषि भृगु के नाम पर जाना जाता है। ऋषि भृगु, हिंदू धर्म में माने जाने वाले 7 ऋषियों में से एक है। स्‍थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, ऋषि भृगु ने इस झील के किनारे ध्‍यान लगाया था। इस स्‍थल के बारे में यह भी कहा जाता है कि इसी जगह ऋषि भृगु ने भृगु समिता लिखी थी, इस समिता से भूत, भविष्‍य और वर्तमान की जानकारी मिल जाती है या कह सकते हैं कि आभास लगाया जा सकता है। पास में ही नेहरू कुंड भी स्थित है जो पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र है। यह कुंड एक प्राकृतिक झरना है जिसे ऋषि भृगु के द्वारा सवांरा गया था।

4). हडिम्‍बा मंदिर – Hadimba Devi Temple in Hindi

मनाली के प्रमुख आकर्षणों में से एक हिडिम्बा देवी मंदिर प्राचीन मंदिर है। यह मंदिर ढूंगरी मंदिर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। जो यहाँ की स्थानीय देवी हिडिम्बा को समर्पित है। हडिम्‍बा, हडिम्‍ब भगवान की बहन थीं। पगोड़ा शैली में निर्मित लकड़ी के इस मंदिर का निर्माण महाराज बहादुर सिंह ने करवाया था जिनका नाम मंदिर के प्रवेश द्वार पर भी अंकित है। यह मंदिर मनाली में सबसे फेमस जगह है।

इस मंदिर का निर्माण 1553 ई. में एक पत्‍थर में किया गया था। पत्‍थर को इस प्रकार काटा गया कि उसका आकर गुफानुमा हो गया। इस पत्‍थर के अंदर जाकर श्रद्धालु दर्शन कर सकते है और विशेष पूजा का आयोजन कर सकते हैं। कहा जाता है कि राजा ने इस मंदिर को बनवाने के बाद मंदिर बनाने वाले कारीगरों के सीधे हाथों को काट दिया ताकि वह कहीं और ऐसा मंदिर न बना सकें।

5). मणिकर्ण गुरुद्वारा – Manikaran Gurudwara in Hindi

मणिकर्ण कुल्लू जिले के भुंतर से उत्तर पश्चिम में पार्वती घाटी में व्यास और पार्वती नदियों के मध्य बसा है, जो हिन्दुओं और सिक्खों का एक तीर्थस्थल है। समुद्र तल से छह हजार फुट की ऊँचाई पर बसे मणिकर्ण का शाब्दिक अर्थ है, कान की बाली। यहां मंदिर व गुरुद्वारे के विशाल भवनों से लगती हुई बहती है पार्वती नदी, जिसका वेग रोमांचित करने वाला होता है। नदी का पानी बर्फ के समान ठंडा है। नदी की दाहिनी ओर गर्म जल के उबलते स्रोत नदी से उलझते दिखते हैं।

मणिकर्ण में स्थित यह गुरुद्वारा बहुत ही प्रख्यात स्थल है। ज्ञानी ज्ञान सिंह लिखित “त्वरीक गुरु खालसा” में यह वर्णन है कि मणिकर्ण के कल्याण के लिए गुरु नानक देव अपने 5 चेलों संग यहाँ आये थे। गुरु नानक ने अपने एक चेले “भाई मर्दाना” को लंगर बनाने के लिए कुछ दाल और आटा मांग कर लाने के लिए कहा। फिर गुरु नानक ने भाई मर्दाने को जहाँ वो बैठे थे वहां से कोई भी पत्थर उठाने के लिए कहा। जब उन्होंने पत्थर उठाया तो वही से गर्म पानी का स्रोत बहना शुरू हो गया। यह स्रोत अब भी कायम है और इसके गर्म पानी का इस्तमाल लंगर बनाने में होता है। कई श्रद्धालू इस पानी को पीते और इसमें डुबकी लगाते हैं। कहते है के यहाँ डुबकी लगाने से मोक्ष प्राप्त होता है।

6). मनु मंदिर – Manu Temple in Hindi

मनु हिन्दू धर्म के अनुसार, संसार के प्रथम पुरुष थे। प्रथम मनु का नाम स्वयंभुव मनु था, जिनके संग प्रथम स्त्री थी शतरूपा। ये स्वयं भू (अर्थात होना) ब्रह्मा द्वारा प्रकट होने के कारण ही स्वयंभू कहलाये। इन्हीं प्रथम पुरुष और प्रथम स्त्री की सन्तानों से संसार के समस्त जनों की उत्पत्ति हुई। मनु की सन्तान होने के कारण वे मानव या मनुष्य कहलाए। इन्ही का मंदिर पुराने मनाली क्षेत्र के व्‍यास नदी के तट पर स्थित है मुख्‍य बाजार से इस मंदिर की दूरी 3 किमी. है। कहा जाता है कि मनु ने अपने जीवन के 7 चक्रों को इसी क्षेत्र में बिताया था, इसी क्षेत्र में 7 जन्‍म और 7 मृत्‍यु हुई थी।

7). नग्गर कैसल – Naggar Castle in Hindi

नग्गर कैसल, एक प्राचीन शाही किला है जो लगभग 500 साल पुराना है। पर्यटकों के बीच फेमस यह स्‍थल मनाली से मात्र 21 किमी. की दूरी पर स्थित है। इस मध्‍ययुगीन किले का निर्माण 1460 ई. के लगभग कुल्‍लू के राजा सिद्ध सिंह ने करवाया था। यह किला व्‍यास नदी के तट पर बना हुआ है। इस किले के परिसर में देखने के लिए अन्‍य आकर्ष और दर्शनीय स्‍थल भी है जैसे – मंदिर, आर्ट गैलरी आदि। बालीवुड फिल्‍म जब वी मेट का गाना इसी किले में फिल्‍माया गया था।

मनाली में आने वाले धार्मिक पर्यटक व्‍यास कुंड अवश्‍य आएं, इस कुंड का वर्णन महाभारत में ऋषि व्‍यास के संदर्भ में किया गया है। माना जाता है कि ऋषि व्‍यास ने इसी कुंड में स्‍नान किया था। कहा जाता है कि इस कुंड में स्‍नान करने से त्‍वचा सम्‍बंधी समस्‍त रोग दूर हो जाते हैं। मनाली में स्थित गांव वशिष्‍ठ सोपस्‍टोन से बना हुआ है। यह गांव पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र है, यहां स्थित मंदिर सैंडस्‍टोन से बने हुए है। इसके अलावा, यहां कई प्राकृतिक झरने भी स्थित हैं। स्‍थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, लक्ष्‍मण जी जो भगवान राम के भाई थे, ने यहां एक सल्‍फर झरने का निर्माण कर दिया था। यहां आकर पर्यटक काला गुरू और रामा मंदिर भी देख सकते हैं।

यहां के जगन्‍ननाथी देवी मंदिर को आज से 1500 साल पहले बनवाया गया था जो माता भुवनेश्‍वरी देवी को समर्पित है। यह मंदिर मनाली का मुख्‍य धार्मिक केंद्र है। जगन्‍नाथी देवी को भगवान विष्‍णु की बहन माना जाता है। यहां का अन्‍य धार्मिक केंद्र रघुनाथ मंदिर भी है जिसे यहां आने वाले सभी पर्यटक और श्रद्धालु घूमने आएं। यह मंदिर भगवान रघुनाथ जी को समर्पित है। इस मंदिर से मनाली के सभी पहाड़ो का एकस्‍वरूप दिखता है और भारत के उत्‍तर दिशा में स्थित हिमालय की तलहटी में रहने वाले लोगों के समूह में एक व्‍यापक सामान्‍यीकरण भी होता है, यहां के मंदिर की वास्‍तुकला पिरामिड आकार की है।

मनाली में हिमालयन नेशनल पार्क भी हैं। इस पार्क में 300 से ज्‍यादा प्रकार के जीव जन्‍तु है। यह अभयारण्‍य विलुप्‍त पक्षियों की अनेक प्रजातियों और पश्चिमी ट्रागोपेन के लिए खासा प्रसिद्ध है। पार्क में 30 स्‍तनधारी प्रजाति भी पाई जाती हैं।

मनाली और उसके आसपास के हरेभरे क्षेत्र एक तरफ तो आपको सैर करने की दावत देते हैं तो दूसरी ओर ऊंचे-ऊंचे पर्वत पर्वतारोहकों को चुनौती देते हुए लगते हैं। अगर आप अपनी छुट्टियों में और अधिक रोमांच के क्षण चाहते हैं, तो आपके लिए हेली स्कीइंग के सर्वाधिक लोकप्रिय स्थल भी यहां पर हैं।

मनाली कैसे पहुंचे – Manali Himachal Pradesh in Hindi

मनाली से 50 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर भुंटार में नज़दीकी हवाई अड्डा है। मनाली पहुँचने के लिए यहाँ से बस या टैक्सी की सेवाएँ ली सकती हैं।

जोगिन्दर नगर नैरो गैज रेलवे स्टेशन मनाली का नज़दीकी रेलवे स्टेशन है जो मनाली से 135 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर है। मनाली से 310 किलोमीटर दूर चंडीगढ़ नज़दीकी ब्रॉड गेज रेलवे स्टेशन है।

मनाली हिमाचल और आसपास के शहरों से सड़क मार्ग से जुड़ा हुआ है। राज्य परिवहन निगम की बसें अनेक शहरों से मनाली जाती हैं।

Manali Tourist Places in Hindi- यह भारत का सबसे प्रसिद्ध हिल स्टेशन में से एक है मनाली है जो हिमाचल प्रदेश में स्थित है. मनाली देश भर में पर्यटन, हनीमून स्पॉट के लिए काफी प्रसिद्ध है. हिमालय के गोद में बसा ये शहर अपनी प्रकृति खूबसूरती और साथ ही अपनी एडवेंचर गतिविधियों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है. हर साल लाखो की संख्या में सैलानी यहाँ पहुचते हैं और यहाँ की पारंपरिक संस्कृति का अनुभव लेते हैं.

मनाली का सबसे खुबसूरत माना जाने वाले स्थान है रोहतांग दर्रा जो सफ़ेद चमकती बर्फ से ढकी हुई है. इस जगह जाने के लिए मनाली के टूरिस्ट ऑफिस से स्पेशल पास लेना पड़ता है. यह आकर्षक जगह पर ये जवानी है देवानी, जब वी मेट आदि फिल्मो की शूटिंग की गयी है. यहाँ पर आप बर्फ में स्की कर सकते हैं. यह रोहतांग दर्रा मनाली बस स्टैंड से 51 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर स्थित है.

2. मनाली के प्रसिद्ध दर्शनीय स्थल हिडिम्बा देवी मंदिर- Manali Ke Prasidh Darshniye Sthal Hidimba Devi Temple in Hindi

अगोड़ा के डिजाईन जैसा दिखने वाला मनाली का हिडिम्बा देवी मंदिर भीम की पत्नी हिडिम्बा देवी को समर्पित है. इस मंदिर का निर्माण मुख्यता लकड़ी का प्रयोग कर के किया गया है. गर्मियों के छुटियों में यहाँ सैलानी उमड़ के आते हैं और मंदिर के अन्दर दर्शन के लिए मंदिर के चारो ओर घुमावदार लाइन लग जाती है. इस मंदिर को 16 वीं सदी में बनवाया गया था.

3. मनाली में घुमने की जगह सोलंग घाटी- Manali Me Ghumne Ki Jagah Solang Valley in Hindi

मनाली से 13 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित सोलंग घाटी है जो मनाली के सबसे लोकप्रिय मनोरंजन स्थलों में से एक है. यहाँ पर बच्चो और बड़ो के मनोरजन के सैकरों इंतजाम है. यहाँ पर आप रोप वे, पैराग्लाइडिंग, एवं अन्य खेलो का मजा लिया जा सकता है साथ में ही आप कुछ दूर स्थित एक शिव मंदिर है जहाँ पर जा सकते हैं. यहाँ जाने के लिए आप ATV मोटर वाहन, घोड़े की सवारी और पैदल जा सकते हैं.

मणिकरण के तरह वशिष्ट मंदिर में भी गर्म पानी के कुण्ड है. लेकिन ये जगह मनाली के समीप ही है. यहाँ पर औरतो और पुरुषो के लिए अलग अलग कुण्ड बने हुए हैं. जहाँ पर आप पृथ्वी के अंदर से निकलते हुए जादुई पानी से नहा सकते हैं. मंदिर के पास कई दुकाने भी है जहाँ से आप अपने दोस्तों, परिवारों के लिए खरीदारी भी सकते  हैं.

मनाली के बस स्टैंड से 24 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित मणिकरण एक पवित्र जगह है. जहाँ पर श्री मणिकरण साहिब गुरुद्वारा, शिव और राम जी के मंदिर मौजूद है और साथ में यहाँ गर्म पानी के झरने भी है. यहाँ पर गर्म पानी में नहाने के लिए कुण्ड भी बने हुए हैं. जहाँ पर नहाने से कहते है कई बीमारियाँ ठीक हो जाती है.

कुल्लू मनाली से 40 किलोमीटर दूर एक खुबसूरत घाटी है, जहाँ की वादियाँ लाखो सैलानियों को आकर्षित करती है. ट्रैकिंग और पानी के खेलो के लिहाज से ही कुल्लू काफी लोकप्रिय स्थान है.

7. मनाली में घुमने की जगह जोगिनी झरना- Manali Me Ghumne Ki Jagah Jogini Waterfalls in Hindi

मनाली के वशिष्ठ गाँव में स्थित जोगिनी झरना जो शहर के भीड़ भाड़ से दूर 3 किलोमीटर के दुरी पर स्थित है. यहाँ 160 फिट की उचाई से गिरता पानी का लुफ्त उठा सकते हैं. यह झरना प्रकृति प्रेमियों पसंद करने वाले लोगो के लिए बहुत अच्छी जगह है.

11. अटल टनल- Atal Tunnel

अटल टनल मनाली से 28.5 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर स्थित है. इसकी ख़ास बात ये है की ये दुनिया की सबसे लम्बी टनल है जो की समुंद्र तल से 10000 फिट उचाई पर बनी हुई है. इस टनल की लम्बाई लगभग 9 किलोमीटर है. यह टनल कुल्लू से लाहौल स्पीती को जोडती है. जहाँ पहले लाहौल स्पीती जाने के लिए आपको 5-6 घंटे का वक्त लग जाता था अब वही सफ़र आप 30 मिनट में पूरा कर सकते हैं.

12. सेथन गाँव- Sethan Village

1. रोहतांग पास (rohtang pass).

3. हिडिंबा देवी टेम्पल (Hadimba Devi Temple)

यह मंदिर मॉल रोड पर स्थित है। यह सन् 1553 में बहादुर सिंह ने स्थापित किया था। यहाँ 14 मई को हर साल देवी माँ का जन्मदिन मनाया जाता है। इस मंदिर के चारों तरफ जंगल है। अगर आप मनाली जायें तो हिडिंबा देवी टेम्पल की गौरा पूजा में जरूर जायें।

4. मणिकरण गुरुद्वारा (Manikaran Gurudwara)

मणिकरण गुरुद्वारा काफ़ी प्रसिद्ध है। यह 80 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। आप यहाँ का लंगर खाना न भूलें। आपको गुरूद्वारा के बाहर शिव मंदिर मिलेगा। इस गुरुद्वारे की पवित्रता यहाँ की नदी से जुड़ी है। यहाँ एक गर्म पानी का कुंड है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि यह पानी बहुत ही पवित्र है और त्वचा के रोग को सही कर देता है।

5. मनु टेम्पल (Manu Temple)

यह टेम्पल मनाली के माल रोड से एक किलोमीटर पर स्तिथ है। ऐसा कहा जाता है की यहाँ धरती पर पड़े पहले छाप के निशान है। यहाँ सप्तऋषियों ने ध्यान लगाया हुआ है। यह काफ़ी पवित्र स्थान है जहाँ आपको जरूर जाना चाहिए।

6. ओल्ड मनाली (Old Manali)

10. वशिष्ट टेम्पल ( Vashisht Temple)

मनाली से लगभग 6 km की दुरी पर स्थित वशिष्ठ गांव में मौजूद है यह टेम्पल, जिसे वशिष्ट टेंपल कहा जाता है 4000 साल से भी जयादा पुराना यह मंदिर कहावी नदी के तट पर बसा हुआ है इस मंदिर में एक पानी का कुंड भी है जहा से हमेशा गर्म पानी निकलता है ऐसी मान्यता है जो इस पानी में स्नान कर लेता है उसकी सारी स्किन प्रॉब्लम दूर हो जाती है यह स्नान करने के लिए महिला और पुरुष घाट अलग अलग है।

To reach Manali by railways you have to get down at the nearest railway station to Manali which is Joginder Nagar Railway Station at a distance of 162.6 km from Manali . There is no direct rail connectivity of this station to major cities in India. You have to first take a train to Pathankot and then take another train from Pathankot to Joginder Nagar Railway Station. You can take a taxi from the railway station which will take around 4.5 to 5 hours for you to reach Manali. Also, there is an alternative if you are planning to come by train. Chandigarh Railway Station is at a distance of 315 km from Manali. You can take a train till Chandigarh Railway Station and then opt for a cab or a bus from there. It is a better option as there are a number of trains going to Chandigarh Railway Station connecting a number of major Indian cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, Indore, Kolkata, Madurai, Lucknow and many more. The journey from the station to Manali will take about 8 to 8.5 hours.

Since Manali is a very popular hill station, the roads connecting to this place are very pleasant. It should be a beautiful journey if you are travelling by road with scenic views of the mountains and the river. You can opt to self drive or hire a taxi. Make sure the driver knows how to drive on hills as there are some sharp cuts en-route. Moreover, there are a number of state buses as well as private buses plying to Manali. Semi-sleeper Volvo buses are very common going to Manali and are easily available.

From January to March, it's possible to ski and snowboard there, and a gondola carries visitors 1.3 kilometers up to the runs. After the snow clears, paragliding becomes popular. However, keep in mind that it's not well regulated and there are safety concerns (people have died in the past).

Additionally, many people who visit Solang Valley opt out of the adventure-seeking to experience a bit of culture by visiting the Shiva temple above the village. If you don't want to walk up to it, it's possible to ride a pony there.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass is a popular day trip from Manali, although heavy traffic can be an issue that makes it a challenge to reach. Situated a two-to-three-hour drive from Manali town, it connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti valleys of Himachal Pradesh.

Due to its high elevation of around 4,000 meters (13,000 feet), it's often subject to bad weather. The main attraction at Rohtang Pass is snow, particularly when it has already cleared from other places. Unfortunately, waste management is poor and facilities for visitors are lacking. The number of vehicles is also restricted and it's necessary to obtain a permit at least a day in advance to visit.

Still, once you get to the Rohtang Pass, there are plenty of snowsport activities offered when there's snow on the ground. Additionally, you can stop by Beas Kund, an igloo-shaped temple on top of Rohtang Pass that has a spring which is the origin of the Beas River.

The powerful Beas River flows rapidly through Manali and provides plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation in its waters and along its banks. However, due to the rapid flow of the river, it can be quite dangerous even for the most experienced rafter, especially after the snow melts in the spring and the water levels rise. Tourists are advised to avoid the river from March through April as a result.

If you'd prefer to be more active while visiting the Beas River, zip-lining (flying fox) across it and rafting down it are popular options. Numerous companies in the Kullu Valley offer river rafting, commonly along a 15 kilometer stretch of Grade II and III rapids from Pirdi (near Kullu town) to Jhiri. The rafting season is best from mid-April to June, and mid-September to October. Trips can easily be arranged in Manali.

Uphill above the bustle and chaos of Manali town, you'll find the relatively peaceful village of Old Manali , which is dotted with simple traditional-style homes.

Old Manali is a laid-back traveler center, and the road here is lined with guesthouses, cafes, and small shops—ideal for chilling out and watching the world go by. Right at the top sits Manu temple, dedicated to sage Manu, who was the first man created by God according to Hindu mythology. The views are worth the steep but scenic walk to get there.

Hadimba Temple

Stop by Dhungri forest on the way to Old Manali to visit the ancient Hadimba temple (also known as Dhungri temple). The temple, a four-tiered pagoda, was built in 1553 and has a facade of wood carvings. It's dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, the wife of Bhima from the Hindu epic The Mahabharata .

Yak rides and huge fluffy angora rabbits ready to pose for photos are added attractions there. Additionally, a fascinating three-day temple festival takes place here in mid-May every year, and people from all over the region come to attend it.

Manali Nature Park

If you love immersing yourself in nature, don't miss taking a stroll through the thick cedar trees in Manali Nature Park, which borders the Beas River between Manali town and Old Manali.

The towering trees of Manali Nature Park provide a dense shield from the outside world, giving the park a magical, mystical feel. There's also another similar park, Van Vihar Park, with the entry adjacent to Manali town, if you want to continue your exploration of the natural beauty of the region once you've finished hiking through Manali Nature Park.

Another travelers' hangout with inexpensive guesthouses, Vashist is situated on the opposite side of the Beas River, about 10 minutes uphill from Manali town.

If you're interested in alternative therapies such as Reiki, massage, past life regression, and tarot, there's an excellent Reiki center there. It's open from April to October, and regular spiritual retreats are held throughout the regular season. Otherwise, the main attractions are temples and hot springs.

Jogini Waterfall

A picturesque and enjoyable short hike through the hills behind Vashist will take you to Jogini waterfall. The waterfall itself is not particularly impressive but a dip in its chilly water is invigorating, and the surroundings are truly enchanting. There are a few small restaurants and guesthouses along the way, so you can stop for a meal before or after you take a dip in the refreshing waters under Jogini Waterfall.

Buddhist Temples

There's a small Tibetan colony just south of Manali town that's worth visiting for its serene and soothing Buddhist temples, and shops selling Tibetan handicrafts and carpets. One of the temples, the Himalayan Nyinmapa Gompa, is home to a huge gold statue of Lord Buddha. The temple is beautifully illuminated at night.

Gelukpa Cultural Society Gompa, further along on the same lane, has an atmospheric prayer room filled with small statues. Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa was built by Tibetan refugees in 1960 and is covered in brightly colored frescoes. Inside there's a medium-sized Buddha statue. The temple also has a list of Tibetan martyrs killed during 1987 to 1989 in the Tibetan unrest.

Many travelers use Manali as a base for trekking through the surrounding mountains.
