You may bring a personal cooler, pillow, blanket and a small carry-on bag with you.

While at the breakfast stop, we will allow you enough time to enjoy breasfast with time to change and freshen up.

You should wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing for you day in New York City.

11:00 PM Departure from Millcreek Mall, Erie, PA 12:15 AM Departure from TA Truck Stop, Harrisville, PA

We will make a couple of comfort stops en-route to NYC. We will make a pay on your own breakfast stop about 1 hour outside of NYC in New Jersey. You will have time to freshen up and grab a bite to eat before you begin your adventure in the "Big Apple". 7:30-8:00 AM Approximate arrival in Manhatten. You will be dropped off at Bryant Park. The day is yours to do as you please. 9:30 PM The motorcoach will arrive back at Bryant Park to begin boarding for the return trip. 10:00 PM Prompt departure from NYC. We will make comfort stops en-route home.

Sunday morning

3:45 AM Approximate arrival back at TA Truck Stop, Harrisville, PA 5:00 AM Approximate arrival back at Millcreek Mall, Erie, PA

Cancellation Policy: 30 days prior to departure - Full refund less any non-refundable charges (i.e. theater tickets, service fees, etc.) unless notification of difference is noted on the tour description.

NO REFUND after 29 days prior to departure.

Written notice of cancellation is required before monies refunded.

Walking Code: 4 This tour requires a heavy amount of walking. To truly experience the program and destination, you need to be able to participate in physical activities such as long walking tours, walking over uneven terrain, climbing stairs and periods of standing. Some of the touring days may be longer, with select included activities occurring later in the evening.

Insurance:   Travel Insurance is optional. To be eligible for the waiver of pre-existing medical condition exclusion, the protection plan must be purchased within 15 days from the time you make your initial trip deposit and for the prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits.  If purchased, the insurance premium is refundable during the 15 day review period, unless you have filed a claim or departed on your trip.  The insurance premium is non-refundable after the 15 day review period . Travelling by Eurotunnel or P&O Ferries to Calais, We travel Directly to Tobacco Road, Just over the boarder to Belgium. A short stop here to stock up on cheap cigarettes, tobacco, wine and chocolates before returning to France. There will be plenty of time to visit many shops and restaurants in Cite Europe as well as the huge hypermarket; we will also stop at Pidou , the wine warehouse.

I've had a Levi's denim jacket for years now and still love it so much and wear it all the time. I've taken it on many trips with me and always find it a great layer to have. Plus, you can totally wrap it around your waist if it get a little warm. I currently only have two pins on it, but I love the look it adds and think it would be a great way to remember your travels!

Hackwith Design House is a woman-owned small business that creates made-to-order apparel. This shirt can be worn as a V-neck, off-the-shoulder, boatneck, V-back, and even open as a jacket. And the color is simple, which means it can be paired well with many different bottoms. 

BuzzFeed Shopping Editor  Chelsea Stuart  says: "I have this shirt and I *love* it.  All credit for its discovery goes to TikToker  @jennifer.bianca  who I happened to stumble across on my FYP. It checks all my boxes: black, comfortable, versatile, and durable. My initial worry was that I wouldn't feel secure in it (I have a 38DDD chest and most wrap tops/dresses I've tried haven't stayed where they're supposed to), but I haven't had an issue with this! Following on from our hugely popular Day Trips to Kildare Village, you can now take an overnight trip with us on 29th May 2024!

Board the coach at your choice of Mallusk, Glengall Street Belfast, Sprucefield or The Outlet Banbridge, and then sit back and relax on the comfortable journey to Kildare Village.

We’ll spend the first day shopping like a VIP in Kildare Village, where we will have a dedicated Style Talk from one of the Personal Stylists in the Personal Shopping Suites.  There will be plenty of free time to browse the 120+ boutiques, enjoying a complimentary goodie bag, VIP discount card and hands-free shopping.  In the afternoon there will be tea, coffee and fizz in “The Apartment”, as well as sweet treats to end a day of luxury shopping!

After the day’s activities, you’ll be guaranteed a great night’s sleep in the luxury 4* Killashee Hotel in the heart of County Kildare.

Day 2 will begin with a delicious Cooked Irish Breakfast in the Killashee Hotel, before we make our way to the World Famous Newbridge Silverware.  Here we will delve behind the scenes on a guided tour of the factory, and also have the opportunity to enjoy the “Museum of Style Icons”, which includes permanent exhibitions such as Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and many more.  Everyone arriving with us will also receive a 20% discount in the Newbridge Silverware Shop.

After 2 fabulous days of luxury shopping, it'll then be time to unwind on the smooth journey back home.

Boarding Points for Day Excursions

You can board your Johnsons Day Excursion from 40  local boarding points including Sutton Coldfield, Pype Hayes and Castle Bromwich in the north; Coventry, Warwick and Leamington in the east; Alvechurch and Barnt Green in the west; Evesham, Stratford-upon-Avon, Wellesbourne and Shipston-on-Stour in the south; and Birmingham and Solihull in the middle. Or you can park for free at our yard in Henley-in-Arden to join your day trip.

We provide full details and times for each Day Excursion so that you can clearly see what is included and how the Excursion has been designed to run. Reserved seating is provided on all day trips. Just choose your seat when you book – we find most people generally like to be near the front, so the earlier you book the better choice of seats you have.

What you can expect on board

Our wonderful fleet of coaches offer a luxury travelling experience with onboard entertainment and spacious seating. With air conditioning for the warmer months and heating to keep you toasty in the winter, we aim to provide total comfort for all our passengers whatever the season. Our large coaches are all fitted with toilets and seatbelts for our customer safety and convenience when on board. We have only run our services with our own high specification vehicles including minibuses to seat 6, right up to luxury charter coaches for 63 passengers.

Memorial Day travelers withstand higher prices in the hurry to kick off summer fun

(AP) - Travelers contended with big crowds and flight delays Friday, which was expected to be the busiest day of the  Memorial Day  weekend.

More than 6,000 U.S. flights were delayed by early evening on the East Coast, continuing a trend that has tested the patience of travelers all week. Cancellations were more modest, at slightly more than 200, according to tracking data from FlightAware.

There were delays on the highways, too.

Along Florida’s Turnpike, Wallis Tinnie said a traffic accident and road work slowed her drive to an African American history commemoration in the Florida Panhandle, the site in 1816 of the first battle of the Seminole Wars.

“But we’re comfortable with it,” the Miami woman said during a stop at Port Saint Lucie. “We left early, and our event is tomorrow. So hopefully — God willing, creek don’t rise — we’ll be there in plenty of time.”

The Transportation Security Administration predicted that Friday would be the busiest day of the holiday weekend for air travel, with nearly 3 million people expected to pass through  airport checkpoints . TSA screened just under 2.9 million people Thursday, coming within about 11,000 of breaking the record set on the Sunday after Thanksgiving last year.

“Airports are going to be more packed than we have seen in 20 years,” AAA spokesperson Aixa Diaz said.

Highways also are likely to be jammed as motorists head out of town and then return home. AAA predicted this will be the busiest start-of-summer weekend in nearly 20 years, with 43.8 million people expected to roam at least 50 miles from home between Thursday and Monday — 38 million of them taking vehicles.

The annual expression of wanderlust that accompanies the start of the summer  travel season  is happening at a time when Americans tell pollsters  they are worried  about the economy and the direction of the country.

“Memorial Day is a holiday weekend. I get to hang with family and friends, so I’d say that’s priceless, right?” Nene Efebo said during a two-hour wait for a delayed flight at Denver International Airport. “Anything to hang out with family and friends.”

Victoria Ramos Valdes of Miami was taking a driving vacation with her husband, Blake, and their children, ages 3 and 4 months old.

“We said, hey, we’re going to go for a $300 budget, and the hotel is around $150,” she said, but it has a water slide, providing plenty of entertainment. “We’re taking a nice family trip and doing our best to have the best Memorial Day weekend possible.”

Some travelers reported  experiencing sticker shock  when they booked their trips. Upon arriving at Philadelphia International Airport, Ciarra Marsh said the city “was not our original destination, but we chose here because it was cheaper.”

At Chicago’s O’Hare Airport, Larisa Latimer of New Lenox, Illinois, said her airfare was reasonable but other expenses for a getaway to New Orleans were not.

“I just have to make the accommodation,” she said. “The rental car is up ... this year, the hotel accommodations were very unusually expensive.”

Kathy Larko of Fort Myers, Florida, used frequent-flyer miles — and some flexible scheduling — to pay for her trip to Chicago.

“I’m really conscious of looking at the cost of the entire trip. We’re staying a little farther out than we normally would” to get a lower hotel rate, she said. “We’re also flying back a day later, because we could get cheaper miles.”

The weekend’s highway traffic and crowded airports could be a sample of what is to come for several more weeks. U.S. airlines  expect to carry  a record number of passengers this summer. Their trade group estimates that 271 million travelers will fly between June 1 and August 31, breaking the record of 255 million set – you guessed it –  last summer .

Missing in houston: beloved high school football coach jon’al white vanishes after trip to houston.

The family of Jon’al White, a 34-year-old former high school football coach from New Orleans , is desperately seeking information about his whereabouts. Jon’al was last seen in June 2023 when he boarded a Greyhound bus from Ruston, Louisiana, to Houston, Texas, in search of job opportunities.

Jon’al’s sister, Reginea White, shared the family’s difficult journey since his disappearance. Despite knowing he made it to Houston, Jon’al’s exact whereabouts remain unknown.

“We were in constant communication via Facebook Messenger since he didn’t have a phone. He had a laptop and used Wi-Fi to stay in touch. But all communication stopped suddenly in mid-July,” Reginea explained. “It’s like he vanished without a trace.”

A few months later the family discovered some activity from Jon’al’s bank account in Missouri City, Texas, but the account was eventually overdrafted and closed, further complicating the search. Reginea described Jon’al as a “big teddy bear” who is very loving, particularly towards his nieces, nephews, and siblings.

Jon’al is known for his quiet and kind demeanor, played football in high school and college in New Orleans. He was completing his bachelor’s degree before relocating to Houston.

“He wouldn’t hurt anyone,” she said. “He’s very athletic, having played football in high school and college, and he was working as a football coach before heading to Houston to find a new job.”

Despite having no family in Texas, Jon’al decided to relocate there, leaving his family puzzled and heartbroken.

The impact of Jon’al’s disappearance has been tremendous, with his family describing it as a nightmare they can’t wake up from.

“Our mother is especially devastated. We were all so close, and his disappearance has left a huge void in our family, making it hard to celebrate holidays and special occasions,” Reginea shared.

“This situation has torn us apart, especially during holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, which he always came home for. What’s the reason to celebrate holidays when we don’t know where our brothers is? This last year was different, we weren’t really able to celebrate because he’s out there.”

As the search continues, the White family remains hopeful that they will soon reunite with Jon’al and urges anyone with information to come forward.

“We just want him home safe,” Reginea pleaded. “If anyone knows anything, please help us bring Jon’al back.”

The family has made multiple trips to Houston, distributing flyers and speaking with locals in hopes of finding any leads. They have even hired a private investigator, but so far, no substantial information has surfaced.

The Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office and Houston Police Department are handling the case, and anyone with information is urged to contact them.
