Pelaksanaan Field Trip Fakultas Pertanian Tahun 2022

Fakultas Pertanian UMSU telah melaksanakan field trip Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022. Kegiatan ini  merupakan field trip pertama sejak adanya pandemi COVID-19. Field trip dibagi menjadi empat tujuan yaitu Sufi Agrifarm , PPKS Aek Pancur, Taman Wisata Alam Sibolangit, dan Wisata Kebun Madu Efi. Kegiatan field trip diikuti oleh seluruh mahasiswa dan didampingi oleh dosen dan tendik. Berikut ini merupakan beberapa foto dokumentasi dari kegiatan field trip yang telah dilaksanakan.

Terlaksananya kegiatan field trip ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat mempelajari bagaimana ilmu yang telah didapat mampu diterapkan di lapangan.

Metode field trip atau karya wisata merupakan metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, di mana siswa diharuskan belajar di luar kelas atau outdoor. Bukan sekedar keluar kelas lalu belajar, namun dalam field trip siswa diajak untuk melihat dan mengamati objek yang dipelajari secara langsung. Wang dan Carlson (2011) mengemukakan bahwa “ A field trip is a common strategy used by educators to bring out-of-scool learning experrience into schools ”. Pernyataan tersebut mengandung makna bahwa field trip adalah suatu strategi umum yang digunakan oleh pendidik untuk membawa pengalaman belajar yang ada di luar sekolah ke dalam sekolah. Rusyan dalam Abimanyu (2008: 7.6) menambahkan bahwa walaupun karya wisata banyak unsur nonakademisnya, tetapi tujuan pendidikan dapat pula tercapai terutama mengenai wawasan dan pengalaman tentang dunia luar seperti tempat yang memiliki situs bersejarah, musium, peternakan atau pertanian (agro wisata) dan sebagainya. Tempat pelaksanaan field trip tidak harus tempat yang jauh, ketika tempat tersebut memiliki objek dan sumber informasi yang lengkap terkait materi pelajaran, tempat tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai field trip.

Field trip bukan sekedar kegiatan rekreasi semata, melainkan belajar dengan melihat objek secara langsung untuk mempertegas gambaran yang didapat siswa ketika di kelas. Batic (2011: 79) menjelaskan bahwa “ Education field trip enable pupils to gain new experience and make them more aware of the world in which they live ”. Penjelasan tersebut mengandung arti bahwa field trip dalam bidang pendidikan memungkinkan para siswa untuk memperoleh pengalaman baru dan membuat mereka lebih sadar akan dunia di mana mereka hidup. Pelaksanaan field trip memberikan pengalaman unik pada siswa dengan menampilkan meteri pelajaran secara nyata. Field trip menuntut guru untuk dapat merancang kegiatan pembelajaran secara jelas dan menyenangkan. Anitah (2009: 5.30) supaya field trip berjalan dengan optimal, guru harus memiliki kemampuan sebagai berikut:

• Mampu mengidentifikasi objek karya wisata yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran.
• Mampu membuat perencanaan dan panduan siswa.
• Mampu mempersiapkan bahan dan alat dalam karya wisata.
• Mampu mengontrol, memfasilitasi dan membimbing aktivitas siswa selama kegiatan.
• Mampu menilai karya wisata.

Langkah-Langkah Pembelajaran  Metode  Field Trip  (karya wisata)

Ada beberapa langkah-langkah yang  harus dilakukan guru dalam menerapkan  metode field  trip pada  pembelajaran.  Abimanyu (2008:  7.8-7.8) menyebutkan langkah-langkah tersebut yaitu:

• Kegiatan Persiapan meliputi: merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran; menyiapkan meteri pelajaran yang sesuai silabus/kurikulum; melakukan studi awal ke lokasi sasaran karya wisata dan menyiapkan skenario pelaksanaan karya wisata.
• Kegiatan Pelaksanaan Karya Wisata Kegiatan pelaksanaan field trip meliputi kegiatan pembukaan, inti dan penutup.

Kegiatan pembukaan dilakukan di sekolah sebelum berangkat ke lokasi karya wisata atau dapat dilakukan di lokasi karya wisata sebelum turun ke lapangan. Kegiatan ini meliputi: mengingatkan kembali pelajaran yang pernah diberikan melalui pertanyaan apersepsi; memotivasi siswa dengan membuat kaitan materi pelajaran yang akan dipelajari dengan peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi di masyarakat; mengemukakan tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dipelajari dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang harus dilakukan untuk mencapai pelajaran tersebut selama karya wisata dan mengemukakan tata tertib selama karya wisata.

Kegiatan inti , kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh siswa saat berada di tempat yang dikunjungi. Kegiatan ini meliputi: melakukan observasi terhadap objek sasaran belajar; mewawancarai nara sumber dan mencatat informasi yang disampaikan secara lisan oleh nara sumber; mengumpulkan leaflet booklet yang ada; sesuai dengan skenario yang disiapkan guru dapat juga diselenggarakan seminar atau diskusi dengan nara sumber.

Kegiatan penutup , kegiatan mengakhiri karya wisata ini dapat dilakukan ketika masih berada di lokasi karya wisata atau setelah kembali ke sekolah, kegiatannya meliputi: menyuruh siswa melaporkan hasil karya wisata dan membuat rangkuman; melakukan evaluasi proses dan hasil karya wisata; merupakan tindak lanjut berupa tugas yang sifatnya memperkaya hasil karya wisata.

Kelebihan dan Kekurangan  Metode  Field Trip  (karya wisata)  

Abimanyu (2008: 7.7) menambahkan ada beberapa keunggulan dan kekurangan dalam menerapkan metode field trip , keunggulan dan kelemahan tersebut yaitu:

1. Keunggulan Feild Trip

Keunggulan metode field trip yaitu: siswa dapat belajar langsung di lapangan sehingga pengetahuan yang diperoleh nyata, hidup, bermakna dan komprehensif; siswa dapat menemukan sendiri jawaban dari masalah atau pertanyaan tentang materi yang dipelajari dengan melihat, mendengar, mencoba dan membuktikan sendiri secara langsung; motivasi dan minat belajar siswa tinggi; guru diperingan tugasnya dalam menyampaikan materi pelajaran, karena materi disampaikan oleh nara sumber atau observasi langsung oleh siswa sendiri; siswa aktif belajar melalui observasi, wawancara, percobaan, menggolong-golongkan dan sebagainya.

Kelemahan metode field trip yaitu: memerlukan persiapan yang melibatkan banyak pihak; memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama; memerlukan biaya yang relatif tinggi; memerlukan pengawasan yang ketat agar siswa fokus terhadap tugasnya; serta laporan hasil karya wisata biasanya diserahkan tiidak tepat waktu.

Prodi Usaha Perjalanan Wisata

FIELD TRIP KE SUMUT MAHASISWA ANGKATAN 2022 PRODI UPW FISIP UNRI

(Pekanbaru, 13 November 2023) Field trip merupakan kunjungan wisata atau kunjungan yang dapat menunjang pengetahuan mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran diluar kelas dengan mendatangi beberapa destinasi yang telah ditentukan. Dengan dilaksanakannya field trip diharapkan mahasiswa dapat belajar dan memperoleh pengalaman. Contohnya adalah belajar bagaimanan cara menjadi tour guide.

Pada field trip tahun ini Program studi Usaha Perjalanan Wisata FISIP Universitas Riau mengadakan field trip ke Sumatera Utara pada tanggal 6-10 November 2023. Beberapa destinasi yang dikunjungi adalah Danau Toba, Kampung Siallagan, Berastagi, Hillpark, dan mengunjungi kampus Politeknik Pariwisata Medan. Di hari pertama mahasiswa menempuh perjalanan jauh dari Pekanbaru ke Danau Toba sekitar 16 jam. Di hari kedua sudah sampai di Danau Toba untuk menyeberang ke Pulau Samosir mengunjungi Kampung Siallagan. Di kampung ini mahasiswa diajari cara menari tor-tor, dan diceritakan sejarah raja-raja dan adat istiadat kampung ini.

Di hari ketiga mahasiswa mengunjungi destinasi yang ada di Berastagi dan ke Hillpark. Kemudian di hari keempat mahasiswa mengunjungi kampus Politeknik Pariwisata Medan. Disana mahasiswa diberikan materi tentang pariwisata yang ada di Sumatera Utara, dan mahasiswa diajak mengelilingi kampus.

Itulah beberapa destinasi  Field Trip yang dikunjungi oleh mahasiswa Program studi Usaha Perjalanan Wisata FISIP Universitas Riau  yang mana tujuan utama dari Field Trip adalah memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa serta pembelajaran nyata di lapangan.

Mahasiswa S2 IKT Filed Trip ke Kulon Progo

Tropmed UGM – Guna mendukung pembelajran di kelas, mahasiswa S2 Ilmu Kedokteran Tropis FKKMK UGM melakukan kunjungan (field trip) ke Kulon Progo. Field Trip ini merupakan rangkaian perkulihaan dan praktik lapangan. Kunjungan ini pada tanggal 21 Februari 2019 dikoordinasi Prof Wayan (dosen pengampu) dengan Pak Barandi (dosen GIS).

Seluruh mahasiswa angkatan 2018, melakukan kunjungan ke Balai Besar Veteriner Wates. Di sini pihak Balai Besar Veteriner Wates menyambut dan memberikan perkuliahan. Kemudian dilanjut dengan pemaparan materi dari pihak Dinkes Kulon Progo. Dua instansi ini memberikan informasi tekait penyakit-penyakit yang ada di Kulon Progo dan sekitarnya.

Usai pemaparan, rombongan mahasiswa diajak mengunjungi laboratorium yang ada di Balai Besar Veteriner Wates. Tiap mahasiswa diterangkan secara singkat berkaitan dengan ruangan-ruangan yang ada di dalam, maupun jumlah petugas yang bekerja. Kunjungan laboratorium ini ditujukan agar mahasiswa menjadi sedikit lebih paham alat-alat yang tersedia, dan bagaimana dalam menangani sebuah penyakit.

Kunjungan selainjutnya menuju Puskesmas Girimulyo II. Di sini kembali mahasiswa mendapatkan informasi terkait penyakit yang ada di Girimulyo. Pemaparan materi juga terkait penyakit antraks yang sempat ada di Kulon Progo.

Kegiatan terakhir yang dilakukan mahasiswa adalah mendatangi rumah warga terkait informasi penyakit antraks yang tahun 2016. Mahasiswa ditemani pihak Dinkes dan Puskesmas bekunjung ke rumah warga. Mahasiswa mendengarkan informasi langsung dari masyarakat tentang penyakit yang pernah merebak di tempat mereka.

Selain mensosialisasikan bahaya penyakit antraks, rombongan dari S2 Ilmu Kedokteran Tropis juga langsung praktik pemetaan wilayah menggunakan pesawat drone. Di sini mahasiswa dipandu dosen untuk memetakan sebuah wilayan menggunakan drone.

Field Trip ke Kulon Progo merupakan rangkaian matakuliah One Health , praktik ini diharapkan menjadi pengalamn baru bagi mahasiswa kala terjun ke lapangan. Selain itu, harapannya agar masyarakat itu sendiri benar-benar tahu bahwa penyakit antraks memang berbahaya, dan harus turut serta dalam menanggulangi secara bersama.

Moscow Metro Station Proposal

A proposal by London-based design and architectural studio VariantStudio to create a noise-absorbing metro station. The station would be covered in porous ceramic panels that would absorb the train noise and the echo from the tunnels, therefore providing a more relaxed atmosphere in the station and creating a much more positive journey. The quietest metro station in the world? Possibly!

Design Team

In the subway tunnels and its premises, the underground trains and a constant passenger flow create a lot of noise and a strong echo. The conceptual idea of the architectural design for Novoperedelkino station in Moscow is to cover the walls and ceilings with acoustic and sound absorbing elements, therefore reducing the possibility of the sound waves to bounce off the walls and ceilings and create echo.

The three dimensional pyramid and prism panels would be created from lightweight and porous ceramic, that would be sound absorbing and fire safe. The finishing of the station would not only absorb noise, but it would be also used as an element for passenger navigation. The walls, floor and ceiling would form a pattern that would point the way to the platform, nearest exits and indicate from which side the train is approaching, therefore helping the passengers to navigate easier in the subway station. Walls and ceilings are created in a neutral ochre tone, but functionally significant elements that require attention are highlighted in more bright blue indigo.

Though the station requires only low and simple maintenance, we've also developed an innovative solution for cleaning the platform wall. The platform walls would be cleaned with a method used in car washing—during the nighttime, incorporated brushes move along the wall and remove tough train grease.

The visual language of the entrance pavilions reflects the main purpose of the station: simple movement. The area between the pavilions is provided with multi-level green zones, pedestrian walkways, shrubs, flowerbeds and recreation zones. Just like the station itself, the green zone is designed to absorb noise from the nearby highway. The bushes are planted and trimmed, therefore absorbing a noise of 40 decibels from the passing vehicles.

Architectural design will provide the passengers comfort and safety.

The quietest metro station in the world? Possibly!

There are many Montreal stations that had a bright style to them when new.  Now, half the lights are continually burned out and spider webs seem to never be removed.  Let alone the inevitable filth of 100,000 people bumping in and out everyday.

Looks annoying to clean.
