Note that there can be multiple Railcards selected, and a number value (Number of Passengers with Selected Railcard) must be sent for each one selected. The way it works is all selected "Railcards" are sent as a comma-delimited list in the rc field, and all the "Number of Passengers with Selected Railcard" are sent as a comma-delimited list in the rcc field which matches the order of the Railcards in the rc field. So if there are two "16-25 Railcards" and one "HM Forces Railcard" it will be sent as:

Also note that WebTIS doesn't handle Railcards very well, so this might not work well anyway. :(

  • You can hop on and off as many times as you want during the day on all the different routes, so you will spend less time on public transport during your trip. Let´s be honest, you get to see much more on the top deck of a bus than on the London Underground!

Routes and Timetable for London’s Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus Tour

There are 4 different routes which will take you to see London’s top landmarks. You can hop-on and hop-off of any of the routes as many times as  you like, and change routes whenever you want. This just makes sightseeing in London very easy, and it saves you having to use public transport in London to get from one place to another.

It’s also good to know that you can start your journey on the sightseeing bus tour at any bus stop, on any route, so you can start your journey at the bus stop that suits you best.

⇒ Here you will find a map with the routes and timetables: London Sightseeing Bus Tour Map .

1. Classic Red Tour

The first bus of this route departs at 8.10 am from the stop located just in front of Green Park underground station, on Piccadilly Street and there are buses approximately every 5 minutes. This route is the Classic Tour, a route that passes through 15 of the most important tourist places in London, including Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Big Ben, Covent Garden, the Tower of London and St. Paul’s Cathedral among others. The red route has a live commentary in English, and there are also recorded commentaries in several languages.

The red route takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes, and has several stops in common with the blue route: stops from 2 to 5, from 7 to 11 and stop 15. It also coincides with the green route at stop 9.

2. Big Blue Tour

The first bus of the blue route departs at 8.36 am from stop number 2, which is located at Hyde Park Corner, and there are buses approximately every 5 or 10 minutes. The nearest underground stop is Green Park. The blue route is a slightly longer route, and coincides in almost all the stops with the red route, but also goes round Hyde Park, passing through the South Kensington area, where the natural history museum, the science museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum are located. It also goes past Harrods and towards Regent’s Park stopping at Baker Street, where the Sherlock Holmes museum and Madame Tussauds wax museum are located. The blue route has recorded commentaries.

The blue route takes almost 3 hours and coincides with the red route at stops 2 to 5, from 7 to 11 and stop 15. It also connects with the green route at stop 9 .

3. Green Link

The green link is very short and connects the famous Trafalgar Square with King’s Cross and St Pancras underground and train stations, going past the British museum. If you are going to spend a day in London and arrive at the King’s Cross – St Pancras station, we recommend that you use the tourist bus, since you can start the route here, change at Trafalgar Square to another route and see London easily before returning to King’s Cross with the green link again if you need to.

The first bus on the green route leaves from Covent Garden at 8.20 am, where it also links to the blue and red routes.

4. Night tour: Hotel Return Service

The purple route is the hotel return service. It covers the areas from Marble Arch to Gloucester Road, so it’s ideal if your hotel is anywhere in between – such as Paddington, Bayswater, Notting Hill or Kensington. It runs up to 2 hours later than the other routes mentioned above.

Bus stops and timetables

Here you can find a list of the bus stops from the RED and BLUE routes, and the time of departure of the first bus at each one of them. After that, buses run every 5 – 10 minutes. Guide: Red Route ( RR ), Blue Route ( BR ) and Green Link ( GL ).

FREE River Cruise when you buy Hop-On, Hop-Off Sightseeing Bus Tour tickets

A Thames River Cruise is honestly one of the best things you can  do when visiting London, this is something that I always recommend friends and family do when they come to visit us. If it’s your first time in London I can guarantee that a cruise on the Thames will leave you speechless, as you can see many famous landmarks from the river. And the best thing is: You get a free river cruise with the London hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus tour tickets. Boom!

The river cruise included is a one way ticket if you’re buying a one day sightseeing bus tour ticket, or a return ticket if you’re buying a 2 or 3 day bus tour ticket. The cruise runs from Westminster Pier to Tower of London. If you have a one day bus tour ticket you need to do the river cruise on that same day, but don’t worry as there is plenty of time do both, you would even have time to go on the London Eye on the same day.

Free Guided Walking Tour

You will also be able to make the most of your sightseeing bus tour tickets by joining the free walking tour that’s included in your ticket. The tour starts at the Big Bus Tours Bus Stop in Trafalgar Square at 10.20 am, and you will be able to enjoy the Changing of the Guard at 11.00 am at Buckingham Palace and learn all about St James’ Palace.

In this post, we will cover how you can use 2-for-1 ticket deals at many popular London tourist attractions to save 50% off retail prices.

As local tour guides who lead pay-what-you-wish walking tours of London , we know a thing or two about great deals.

And we use these deals quite regularly ourselves, particularly when we have visitors in town.

We've used our own personal experiences as well as those of the members of our popular London Travel Tips Facebook group to write this post.

  • Gold Record Card
  • National Rail issued smartcards

Luton, Stansted, and Gatwick Airport train tickets qualify if bought from the railways, but the Heathrow Express and the TFL Railway do not.

Tickets Must Be Purchased at National Rail Stations

The 2-for-1 promotion is only valid with tickets purchased at National Rail stations.

Tickets issued from the London Underground stations are not valid and will not be accepted.

National Rail Stations are stations with the symbol seen below.

2 for 1 Tickets National Rail

If you’re looking for a station near you, check the National Rail stations page.

A zone 1-6 off-peak one-day Travelcard is £14.40 (£7.20 child)

You Must Travel to Your Chosen Attraction

All valid train tickets should show that you have traveled to the attraction by train.

So, make sure that the destination on your ticket is as close as possible to the location where you plan to use this deal.

If your tickets show that you traveled to another part of the city, they may not be accepted for this promotion.

Keep Your Train Tickets

You must present your National Rail ticket along with the 2-for-1 voucher for the location of your choice to receive the deal.

Businesses need to confirm that you were there specifically to visit their attraction.

Don't put a single ticket into the entrance/exit barrier, as the ticket machine might eat it.

If a National Rail employee asks for your tickets, make sure to inform them that you plan to use the 2-for-1 promotion.

Print Out Your 2 For 1 Voucher Before Leaving

2-for-1 vouchers can be downloaded/printed from the Days Out Guide website.

As of 2024, advance online booking is available for many attractions and activities included on this site, including locations like the London Eye, SEA LIFE Aquarium, the London Dungeon, and several others.

For locations accepting online bookings, all you have to do is search for the attraction page and fill out the details to purchase valid tickets ahead of time.

You must use a voucher in combination with your National Rail tickets in order to take advantage of the promotional offer.

Paper vouchers do not have to be validated on the specific date you choose before downloading them, so you can print them out a day or two earlier and they might still be valid a few days later.

You Must Purchase Tickets on the Same Day

To qualify for the 2-for-1 offer, the travelcard or ticket you use must be valid for the day you visit the attraction.

Oyster Card or Travel Card

For a single journey ticket, this means your attraction tickets must be purchased on the same day that your rail ticket was validated.

This is a great option for anyone who will be in London for more than a few days, as it allows you to choose when and how you use the 2-for-1 deal.

Some Attractions Have Blackout Dates

Another thing to keep in mind is that some popular attractions will have blackout dates, which means that they won’t honor the 2-for-1 program during those times.

This typically happens during peak tourism weeks in the summer, but you should check the voucher for the attraction of your choice to find out which days aren’t available.

We recommend taking advantage of this deal during quieter times such as weekdays and shoulder seasons to avoid missing out.

Skip-the-Queue Tickets Are Not Included

The 2-for-1 deal cannot be used to purchase skip-the-line tickets.

You have to present your National Rail tickets at the ticket booth for the deal, so you won’t be able to skip the ticket line.

If you’re short on time or you don’t want to wait in line, consider getting a London tourist pass instead.

Not Included with the Oyster Card

This promotion is not available through the Oyster Card, contactless payment cards, or Freedom Passes.

They will not be accepted as evidence of traveling by train at any attraction or venue.

Regular Oyster Card

However, if you have a National Rail Annual Season ticket loaded onto an Oyster Card and you also have the accompanying Gold Record Card, you can use the Gold Record Card as evidence.

That all being said, if you’re looking to save money on travel, you might want to consider the Oyster Card .

This service can save you quite a bit of money on train tickets, so it’s an excellent alternative if the attraction of your choice isn’t included with the 2-for-1 program.

Things to Consider

With all of the rules, you must follow, some readers may be wondering if the 2-for-1 promotion is worth the hassle.

The short answer is that this is a great way to save money on a variety of popular attractions, but there are easier options you may want to consider in London.

If you don’t want to worry about whether or not you have the right type of ticket and you’re not interested in downloading vouchers, it’s worth noting that there are several London tourist attraction passes that include most of the popular activities you can enjoy with the 2 for 1 deal.

A 4 step guide to getting the London 2 For 1 discount. Image source: Days Out Guide.

Most of the tourist passes available in London come in the form of either a card or an app that you can use on your phone for admission to various attractions.

You won’t have to worry about holding onto any tickets/vouchers, where you purchase them if they are valid, or anything else.

For the most part, tourist passes need only be presented at the ticket booth to get inside.

If this sounds like a far less confusing prospect, check our post about London tourist passes for more information.

Is the 2-for-1 Program Worth It?

Yes, it is. Let’s use the Tower of London as an example since this is one of the most popular (and most expensive) attractions in town.

Here’s an example of how much money you could save.

Tower of London 2 for 1 Ticket

Normal Price:

  • £28.80 for 2 one-day travelcards
  • £59.80 for 2 full-price adult Tower of London tickets
  • Total cost: £88.60

2 For 1 Program Price:

  • £28.80 for 2 travelcards
  • £29.90 for 2 Tower of London tickets
  • Total cost: £58.70

This would mean that your daily travelcards actually paid for itself!

The 2-for-1 offer is a great way to save money on travel and several fun activities in London.

If you are interested in the program and you come along on one of our London walking tours , simply ask your guide to point you in the direction of the nearest rail station at the end of your tour so you can start choosing, using, and saving for yourself.

Our group consists of locals, like our tours guides, expats, regular visitors to London, as well as newbies.

You don't need to be a member to search for and read the posts, comments, and suggestions.

Where Do I Find More Information?

All rail stations in London should carry promotional leaflets advertising the 2-for-1 offer for you to pick up and browse.

Alternatively, you can also visit the Days Out Guide for all the information you could possibly need.

OTHER TOURIST DEALS

Most of the sites and activities included with the 2-for-1 program are also available at a much lower price with a Go City London Pass and other similar services.

If you’re planning to purchase tickets for more than a few attractions, this may be a better opportunity.

There are several different types of tourist passes available in London.

While an all-inclusive Go City London pass will give you access to dozens of popular activities for one flat price, you can also choose to pay for only the locations you want to visit.

There are also prepackaged passes which include a set number of specific attractions for one flat price, as well as bus tour combo tickets that include admission to a few popular sites in the city.

No matter what your plans are, you’ll probably find a pass that can save you money on our post covering every major London Pass .

2 for 1 sightseeing offer with Travelcards/trains

Tower of london, madame tussauds, london eye... at half price admission.

2 For 1 Londondon Sightseeing Offer

The National Rail 2 for 1 admission voucher promotion to many of London's top attractions is a little publicised scheme that has to be one of the biggest bargains available for visitors to London (and beyond).

What is the railways 2FOR1 scheme?

Essentially it's a scheme sponsored by lots of local rail operating companies in the UK to encourage people to travel to attractions all around the UK by train including London.

By presenting your printed voucher at the ticket desk of the attraction together with a valid rail ticket two people can gain entrance for the price of one adult.

The coupons are freely available, you can download and print them from the promotional website, the only limit being that you can only download up to 3 vouchers per attraction for up to 6 people, at any one time. You can add as many attractions as you like.

Supported attractions   2FOR1 for overseas visitors   About 4ravelcards and 2FOR1   Zones for 4ravelcards   More about 2FOR1   Advance online booking   About railcards   Alternative - London Pass

You will need to register at the 2FOR1 website before you can access the vouchers. You can alternatively pick up the vouchers at train stations themselves which often have a limited supply, they may not have the voucher you are looking for.

For some of the most popular attractions in London, you can now buy 2 for 1 admission tickets in advance on-line from within the promotion website. You must bring a printed voucher with you along with your valid train ticket to qualify for the promotion. Currently vouchers shown on a mobile device are not accepted.

Which attractions support the 2FOR1 scheme?

The scheme is supported by many, if not most of the major London attractions as well as many you won't have heard of.

Below is a list of the post popular attractions included in the 2FOR1 scheme , many more can be found on the Railways 2FOR1 website .

The 2 for 1 offer is not limited to attractions, there are opportunities to use this scheme on  hop-on buses , at  galleries  and  museums , on walks and tours,  boat trips and cruises ,  theatre tickets,  restaurants and non London attractions such as  Warwick Castle  and  Shakespeare's Birthplace.

Before you make concrete plans on using 2 for 1 do check your required vouchers are available for the dates and attractions you want to visit.

Some of the most popular attractions like the London Eye, Tower of London etc may have blackout dates or withdraw from the scheme during peak summer visitor weeks.

Can overseas visitors take advantage of 2FOR1?

London Zoo included in railways 2 4 1 scheme

Although the promotion is set up assuming most participants will be from the UK making day trips from their home, there is nothing to stop overseas visitors taking advantage. The hurdle for most visitors is the requirement for a valid train ticket, along with printing out a voucher if you have not planned your trip before leaving home.

It can be a bit confusing for the first time visitor to the UK. Airport trains from Gatwick and Stansted Airports do qualify if bought from the railways, but the Heathrow trains , the Heathrow Express and TFL Rail Heathrow do not. London Underground tickets also do not qualify you for the scheme.

You must have a valid train ticket for the day you visit the attraction. A standard open return ticket normally spanning a month covers all the days between the outward and return legs of the ticket for 2 for 1. A single ticket is valid for 2 for 1 just on the day of travel. Brit Rail passes are also valid.

If you are using the train coming into London to qualify for this promotion you will probably have separate tickets for outward and return legs of your journey.

It is essential that you do not go through the automatic ticket barrier at the London terminus as the barrier will gobble up your ticket and not return it. You will need the ticket when you present your credentials at the attraction you want to use 2 for 1 with. Use the manned exit instead, retaining your ticket.

London Travelcard qualification for 2FOR1

Travelcard with Rail logo on (bottom left corner)

If you don't have a train ticket, then the Travelcard London public transport pass is the way to qualify for the promotion. Nearly every visitor to London will have to buy a Travelcard or Oyster public transport pass to get around.

The question of which, Travelcard or Oyster is very complex - but the savings you can make using a Travelcard with 2 for 1 admissions will far outweigh any savings of Oyster over 4ravelcards just for the transport.

However, not any old Travelcard will do to qualify for 2 for 1, the key requirement is you must purchase from the railways, (not from the Underground).

  • To qualify you must purchase the Travelcard from a railway station in London. Such 4ravelcards have the rail logo on it like the image right.
  • 4ravelcards bought from any other outlet are not valid. Oyster Cards are not valid either.
  • You can buy 4ravelcards from the ticket offices of the following mainline rail station ticket offices: Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, St Pancras, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, Fenchurch Street, London Bridge, Charing Cross, Waterloo and Victoria. 4ravelcards sold at airports and underground stations or other agents including on-line are not valid for 2 for 1.
  • 4ravelcards can be bought for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month and 1 year durations. Full details are at our Travelcard page. If you buy a 7 day or a 1 month Travelcard you will need a railway photo card. This will be issued by the railway ticket office free of charge but you must bring along a passport size photo.

4ravelcards & zones 2024

In 2015 1 day 4ravelcards for zones 1-2 were withdrawn, the cheapest Travelcard is now a zone 1-4 Travelcard (£15.20 in 2024).

The daily cap on the alternative transport pass an Oyster (in zones 1-2) is £8.10. Therefore for 1 day, if you are staying in zones 1 or 2 (which nearly all visitors do) you are paying a premium of £7.10 for buying a 1-day Travelcard to qualify for 2 for 1 over an Oyster Card that is not valid for 2 for 1. So do factor this price penalty into the savings you are making on the 2 for 1 tickets.

Other points about the 2FOR1 promotion

Madame Tussauds with 2 4 1 promotion

The vouchers you print from the website (link at top of page) have expiry dates. The promotion is long standing but attractions supporting do come and go.

You can print as many vouchers as you like from the website, the only limit being that you can only download up to 3 vouchers per attraction for up to 6 people, at any one time. You can though add as many attractions as you like. Stations often have vouchers too, but they may not have the vouchers you want so it's best to print from the website.

Vouchers are normally for walk-up standard admission, not fast track tickets - though do read each promotions detail page to understand exactly what is on offer. There are now a few attractions in London where you can book 2 for 1 tickets in advance from within the promotion website.

By 2 for 1 it means that two people can enter the attraction whether they be adults, children or seniors for the price of one adult admission - though again do read the detail page of each offer.

Each person covered by the voucher needs a valid rail ticket or Travelcard as detailed above.

When you print the voucher from the website you will be asked things like travel date, station from which travelling, address etc. Don't get hung up about it, if the date or station proves to be incorrect it doesn't affect their acceptance.

2FOR1 advance online booking

London Dungeon 2 4 1 Railways promotion

You can now book in advance 2 FOR 1 tickets for a few of London's main attractions (The London Eye , The London Dungeon , SEA LIFE London Aquarium , Madame Tussauds London , Shrek's Adventure! London ) avoiding queuing on the day.

You purchase your tickets to these attractions direct from the 2FOR1 website (banner link at top of page), not through the attraction website or a third party.

On the 2FOR1 page for the attraction instead of selecting the 2FOR1 voucher menu option, you instead select the Buy Online option. If you are not already registered you will have to register for 2 FOR 1.

After selecting the buy online option you will typically be given a unique promotional code and switched to the attraction's own website and taken through a special ordering process.

Most of the attractions available this way are the busiest ones and you are prompted to select the day you want entrance and the entry slot (often a 30 minute window of time).

You pay for the tickets there and then. Note - you will still have to show your qualifying rail tickets on arrival.

Acceptance of rail tickets for 2FOR1 qualification

London Eye with 2 for 1 promotion

Whether or not your train tickets are accepted for 2 for 1 is a major talking point for our 2 for 1 discussion page.

The promotion was designed with the English domestic traveller on a day trip or weekend break to London in mind, the point being to encourage people to travel to the attraction by train instead of taking the car and/or London Underground.

Precise rules beyond a simple return (round trip) train ticket to a London terminus railway station are not set out and attractions do vary widely with the degree of scrutiny checking the rail tickets and their interpretation of the rules. Make no mistake you will not have problems with a straight forward return (round trip ticket) into London, this includes the airport trains from Luton, Gatwick, Stansted and Southend Airports.

The issue arises for visitors who do not naturally require a rail ticket or a railways issued Travelcard for their travel needs in London and still try to qualify for 2 for 1 at as little expense as possible. The most common questions on this are dealt with on our 2 for 1 discussion page, but at the end of the day the person selling you the ticket has final say on whether they accept your railway tickets for the promotion.

Which tickets are valid for 2FOR1?

St Paul's Cathedral 2 4 1 Railways promotion

As a quick overview the following types of tickets are valid for the 2 for 1 promotions, it is worth noting our above comments about how sometimes this results in confusion for overseas visitors who are looking for the cheapest way to qualify for the scheme. Use these as a guide and check our FAQ on 2 for 1 if you are still unsure.

These are currently the tickets valid for 2 for 1, some of which will not be applicable for the overseas traveller:

  • National rail orange paper tickets including Advance, Anytime, Off-peak, Super Off-Peak and 4ravelcards purchased from a National Rail station only.
  • Brit Rail passes
  • Print @ home or Mobile tickets (m-tickets) for travel on National Rail services (these are the tickets that show the National Rail logo).
  • Carnet tickets, Season tickets, Annual Gold cards, Gold record cards and Train company issued smartcards.

These are currently the ticket types advertised that cannot be used for 2 for 1:

  • Oyster Cards
  • Freedom Passes
  • Contactless payment cards or mobile payments
  • Transport for London issued Travelcards, inc those bought on visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk
  • Heathrow Express and Heathrow connect tickets
  • Stansted Express and Gatwick Express in-flight or mobile tickets (where National rail logo is not shown - this can be confusing as these tickets can be used, as can be found on their respective sites, having a ticket with the National Rail logo on is key here)
  • Digital tickets without the National Rail logo
  • Eurostar tickets
  • The London Pass
  • MegaTrain tickets
  • London Underground issued tickets, including Travelcards

The London Pass - the other Sightseeing Pass for London

The London Pass is a flat rate sightseeing pass to many (but not all) of London's main attractions. You can buy a London pass for 1, 2, 3, 6 or 10 day durations. It gives you entry into around 80+ London tourist attractions. You have paid a set sum per person in advance and then you just show your card at the entrance or ticket office of any attraction included on the London Pass, they will swipe it through a card reader and you will be allowed entry, some attractions you will get fast track entry.

You can also opt to have a public transport pass, the Visitor Oyster Card included to get you around London.

You can have the London Pass shipped to your home address (for a shipping charge) or you can collect the tickets in London for which there is no charge. If you choose to collect your order in London you will need to print and bring with you the London Pass voucher which is emailed to you on completion of your online order. The collection point is off Trafalgar Square which is geographically the centre of London.

2FOR1 offers

Half price admissions for you and your travel partner at all the most important London attractions with all National Rail tickets

london bus tour tickets 2 for 1

The Days Out 2FOR1 offers are special discounts valid for some of the most well-known London attractions. Even though many people don’t know about the 2FOR1 offers, they can actually save you quite a bit when visiting the city.

Sign with popular places in London

What’s great about these offers is that you don’t have to purchase a particular tourist pass to enjoy them, they are simply offered to any user who purchases National Rail transport tickets.

All 2FOR1 offers are also valid as long as your National Rail ticket is. This means that if you have a multi-day ticket or a return ticket, you can enjoy the 2FOR1 offers from the first day your ticket is valid until the last.

Our recommendations

In this article, you’ll find all the information you need about what the 2FOR1 offers are, how to use them, the benefits, the limitations, how to get them, and what railway tickets guarantee the offers.

What is the 2FOR1 offer?

The 2FOR1 offers are a discount scheme valid on select London attractions, tours, and activities . The discounts are offered to visitors who have purchased National Rail tickets or passes.

These discounts usually take the form of a voucher that guarantees two entries at the price of one , hence the name. However, you can also find other forms of discounts (10% or 20% off) and three entries at the price of two (3FOR2 offers).

, and they are always free to download and print.

How to use the 2FOR1 offer

To redeem the 2FOR1 offers, the three essential steps are the following.

  • Get your transport tickets, making sure that they have the National Rail logo and that it is valid on the day of your intended visit.

Once you have done this, you can simply go to the attraction you are interested in and by presenting your National Rail ticket and your voucher, you will get your two entries for the price of one.

The vouchers are always free to download and print , and you can do so with as many as you want. The only limit is that you can download only up to 3 vouchers per attraction (therefore valid for a total of 6 people). There are, however, a few things to keep in mind when using the 2FOR1 offers.

  • 2FOR1 offers guarantee two tickets for the price of one , rather than a 50% discount on every ticket. This means that, unless stated otherwise on the website, 2FOR1 offers are applicable for every two tickets purchased per attraction.
  • While one voucher is valid for two people, both of them need to have a valid National Rail ticket at the time of their visit to the attraction.
  • Most 2FOR1 offers are valid on full-price adult tickets only . If you are purchasing a full-price adult ticket and a concessionary ticket, the cheapest of the two will normally be deducted.
  • Offers are valid up to and including the day of their expiration .

. On the page, you will see the details of the offer and any existing exclusions.

After making sure the offer applies on the day of your intended visit, you can add the number of visitors (4, in this case), the date of your visit, and your station of departure. Once you click on the “get voucher” button, the vouchers will be added to your basket. At this point, you can immediately download them or keep adding other vouchers for different attractions and activities.

When you are done, you will have to download and print the vouchers for yourself and your friends. On the day of your visit, simply go to the Tower of London ticket office, present your National Rail tickets and your two vouchers, and you will only pay for two out of the four entry tickets.

Additionally, some of the attractions are now available to book online in advance . In this case, you will simply have to present your pre-booked and discounted tickets along with your National Rail tickets. The printed Days Out voucher is not necessary with pre-booked tickets.

Taylor Swift Adds 3 Opening Acts to London Eras Tour Shows: 'I Chose Artists Whose Music I Love Listening to'

On Monday, May 27, the pop megastar announced that she would be adding three opening acts to her Wembley Stadium shows in June

The Eras Tour just got even better!

On Monday, May 27, Taylor Swift announced on her Instagram Stories that she would be adding three opening acts to her Wembley Stadium Eras Tour shows in London — Mette on Friday, June 21, Griff on Saturday, June 22 and Benson Boone on Sunday, June 23.

"I just found out Fortnight is #1 on the UK airplay chart!!!!" the "Cruel Summer" artist, 34, said alongside an Eras Tour poster. "Thought this might be a fun time to announce the first group of opening acts I'll be adding to the London shows, going on before Paramore . I chose artists whose music I love listening to, and I can't wait for them to add an extra jolt of excitement to our shows."

Her new opening acts all replied to the news with excitement on social media.

"It’s a new ERA for ya girl… Opening the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour” on June 21st at Wembley Stadium in London. Thank you @taylorswift13 - Never been so excited in my entire life!!! #TSTheErasTour ," wrote the "DARLING DRIVE" artist, 32, on social media alongside the tour poster.

The "Vertigo" performer, 23, shared a photo of the tour poster and a shot of her and Swift eating French fries together at the 2021 BRITs on social media : "TAYLOR SWIFT HAS INVITED ME ON THE ERAS TOUR!!!!!! 8 yr old me who had fearless on repeat wouldn’t believe this. So unbelievably grateful to Taylor for all the love she’s shown me and my music. See you at Wembley on June 22nd. Ly 📷 📷 📷 #TSTheErasTour ."

Swift previously gave Griff a shout-out in September 2023 on her Instagram Story, writing “Damn Griff I love this one,” as she shared her single "Vertigo."

“Her popping up the other week and posting ‘Vertigo’ is the most crazy thing because it's like — she never posts and she really doesn't have to do that. So it's really kind of her to be so generous with promoting that,” she told PEOPLE. “It's really cool.”

After she saw the post, Griff thought “What the f---?” and then, “How do I even thank her?”

The "Miss Me Too" singer said that while they don't "have a constant point of contact," Swift has become "this fairy godmother that pops up and makes things amazing for me."

The "Slow It Down" musician, 21, reshared the 14-time Grammy winner's Instagram Stories with the caption, "@taylorswift so excited to be a part of the show thank you for having me 😭❤️."

'Absolute chaos': Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Lisbon delayed as fans waited to enter

london bus tour tickets 2 for 1

LISBON — Chaos and madness. Two words that fans may fit into "Blank Space" lyrics were instead two words frantic Swifties used to describe Taylor Swift’s first-ever show in Portugal.

“I’m just sad,” says Noelle Vavuris who went to the Eras Tour in Santa Clara, California, and wanted to see the new “Tortured Poets Department” addition at the Estadio da Luz. “I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars to see Taylor. Please. I just want to be inside.”

Vavuris lives in Amsterdam and came to the concert with three of her best friends.

“We’ve been waiting in line for an hour and a half and we just got all the way to the stadium and then got sent all the way outside,” she says, trying to find her correct gate after multiple attempts. “We’re herded cattle. There’s absolute chaos.”

Show opener Paramore went on after 7 p.m. The tickets said the show was supposed to begin at 6 p.m. You could hear Hayley Williams singing her last song “This is Why” booming from the open-roofed stadium as Vavuris made it past security.

“There was a massive bottleneck at the security checkpoint to get rid of water bottles,” says Malika Nunes, who lives in Lisbon and was in the same line as Vavuris. “And then people were jumping over the barricade, pulling them apart. We stood behind a post."

Security opened the gates to more areas and fans ran by the hundreds to the stadium doors.

"They finally got more police and more security people," Nunes says. "There's soccer games here weekly with as many people, and those are organized. This is chaos. I've never seen anything like this."

Temperatures hovered in the mid-70s. When Swift took the stage at 8 p.m., the temperature was 66 degrees. In a last-minute change by producer Last Tour, fans were allowed to bring a plastic water bottle into the open-roofed stadium up to 50 centiliters (about 16 ounces). No glass, hard plastic or metal containers were allowed inside according to an informational packet released .

When Swift came on stage, she didn't mention the delay or the wait. Her team didn't respond to an email asking about the late start.

"This is my first time getting to come to Portugal, and this is how you welcome us," she said, and the crowd went wild. "When I first walked out in the show and I looked out and saw the crowd, you took my breath away. My heart was beating so fast. You just made me feel so loved. Thank you so much."

Swift will play one more night in Lisbon before going to Madrid.
