Glacier Jetski Adventures is owned and operated by Charlie and Rebecca Howard with their young children Mason and Izzy. Their loyal Alaskan mutt Oso completes this small Alaskan family guiding service.

Alaska Jet Ski Tours brings you 4 hours of adventure on the back of your very own SeaDoo personal watercraft! We promise you won’t get a tour of wild Alaska like this anywhere else—not even on a traditional boat ride.

Our glacier jet ski tours in Alaska are structured to give you maximum exposure to the Alaska wilderness—55 miles of breathtaking coastline from Whittier harbor to Blackstone Bay! Along the way, you’ll also see 10 glaciers, including two tidewater glaciers that often play host to harbor seals.

Blackstone Bay is also home to one of the largest kittiwake rookeries in the region. As you glide along the water, you’ll see flocks of birds nesting high on the cliffs and skimming the water, looking for their next meal. It’s truly a sight to behold!

In addition, there’s always the chance you’ll see various other wildlife along the journey and whatever the weather brings—sometimes bright sunlight; other times, beautiful haze or an overcast picture of serenity.

Our jet ski tour company in Alaska uses only modern, well-maintained equipment to ensure the safety and enjoyment of your tour. Our top-of-the-line, high-performance, 2-passenger SeaDoo GTI SEs have deft handling and precision braking systems, giving you maximum control when idling in front of glaciers or navigating the coast. Enhanced stability, extra cargo capacity and best-in-class safety features make our jet skis safe and easy for anyone to pilot—regardless of skill level.

We provide everything you need to enjoy every moment on your jet ski, including insulated dry gear.

Pricing and Tour Information

We host our Glacier Jet Ski Tours throughout the beautiful summer season. In May – September, tours depart daily at 9am, 10am, 2pm & 3pm.

The cost of glacier jet ski tours in Alaska is $340 per person (16+) and $180 per passenger (10+) .The max weight of each jet ski is 400lb, including dry suits, gloves, boots, helmet and additional cargo.

This place is legit. I highly recommend this activity as you will have fun and will enjoy being so close to nature. You will get into a dry suit for 4 hours so keep that in mind. No bathroom break once you have been zipped. They provide everything, helmets, life jackets , booties and a great guide. You also need to arrive 15 minutes early so you can get ready and leave on time. Once you get on the Jet ski, you are briefed and you start to head over to the Glacier. When you reach the middle of the trajectory, it can get a bit rough as you are close to the ocean but once you passed that, the water gets calmer. (Not by much but a lot better) The closer the you get to the glacier the colder it gets so you need to bring insulation. I used by Under Armour base layer 4.0 and some merino wool socks and I was very comfortable. Once you reach the glacier, you are provided with a surprise and I will not spoil the surprised. Then you reach the glacier and it is breathtaking. It seems like it is not real at all! After you spend a good amount of time there you head back and you have to go thru the rough patch next to the ocean. The total time of the trip was roughly 4:15min and you need to hold your pee and make sure you are not SICK ‍ to your stomach because you have an accident, there is fine to clean it up. If you decide to go, ask for Mango as she was great, very patient and easy going. I am pretty sure everyone is nice therr but I may be a bit bias.

This was by far one of the best experiences I have had. I highly recommend this to other people. We had Mango as tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. We had the best time ever

Snowmobiling on Spencer Glacier- what an incredible experience! Our guide Jake was amazing- thoughtful, laid back and fun! For 2/3 of us this was the first snowmobile experience- and he made us all feel comfortable and confident. Whether it’s your first time or you’re experienced at snowmobiling - they will structure the tour to ensure you enjoy yourself. The woman (sorry forgot your name) who picked us up, got us outfitted and too us to hotel - was equally lovely and friendly. The whole trip was one to remember- Spencer Glacier is breathtaking. Definitely recommend!

Booked a guided snowmachine tour. Easy to book, quick pick up at Alyeska Hotel and off to get changed into the provided riding gear. Short van ride to where we would get on the trail. Jake was a great guide, informative and gave some tips on riding. Visited 2 glaciers on a clear sunny day. Would suggest this tour to any one that would like to learn how to ride and to be able to get to a scenic glacier.

We loved, loved, loved our amazing trip with Wild Guides jet skiing to the glaciers. We apparently had one of the better summer days to see the glaciers and wildlife along the way. Our guide (Jake) did an amazing job of instructing us, pointing out wildlife, taking photos of us when we wanted and letting us zip along the crystal clear, smooth water on the way. The tour is roughly 3 hours of actual jet-skiing and the other hour getting prepared, dressed, rules, instructions, and return of equipment. Whiitier is a beautiful place accessed through the tunnel so you have to time it right.
