Barcelona City Tour is an official Barcelona’s sightseeing tour, with a panoramic deck affording unique views over both the old and the new Barcelona.

Using your ticket as often as you want over the course of either 24 or 48 hours,  you can hop on and off at any of the 35 stops along our two routes , which divide the city into Green/East and Orange/West.

As you board the bus you will receive a brochure with details of our two routes and the most iconic places in the city. You will also find exclusive discounts with the purchase of your ticket.

Hop On Hop Off Barcelona Hours

We offer an uninterrupted service throughout the year, except for Christmas Day (25 December) and New Year’s Day (1 January).

• Duration: The estimated time for each route is around 2 hours to 2 hours 30 minutes depending on the season.
• Departure time : The bus tour starts at 9:00 a.m. and the last tour starts at 7:00 p.m. from Stop 1, on Plaça Catalunya.

Service frequency varies between 7 and 25 minutes , depending on the time of the year. Please bear in mind that, occasionally, this may be altered by different circumstances that affect city traffic (demonstrations, works, sporting events, etc.).

Pre-recorded audio guide in 15 languages

Each bus has an automatic audio guide system in 15 languages providing information on each point of the trip.

All you have to do is plug in the free headphones we’ll give you and enjoy finding out about the city.

Our fleet of double-decker buses

Barcelona City Tour boasts a fleet of 40 double-decker buses with  a panoramic upper deck affording a unique view of the city.  Remember that our entire fleet is red in colour, indicating on the front which route is being covered at any given time.

To ensure a smooth service, all passengers should enter by the front door and exit from the rear. Also, our buses have two sets of stairs linking the two levels: the front one should be used to go up and the rear one to go down, to  save time and make our trips even more enjoyable.

The Barcelona Hop-On, Hop-Off tour allows you to discover the many attractions of this delightful city at your own pace. From the unique Gaudi architecture to the lively beaches; all of Barcelona is explored onboard the red, open-topped buses.  Hop on and off a double-decker bus as many times as you wish or just sit and enjoy the view. The same ticket is valid for the company’s three different routes . The red route and the blue route take approximately two hours to complete , while the green route only takes 40 minutes.

Green Route

The green route stops at the Forum Building, Parc Diagonal Mar, Poblenou, Bogatell Beach , Port Olímpic , and Poblenou Cemetery.

The blue route stops in Barcelona’s following landmarks: Monastery of Pedrables , Güell Pavilions, Camp Nou , Diagonal , Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona , Plaça Catalunya , Fundació Antoni Tàpies , La Pedrera , Sagrada Familia , Gracia neighborhood, Park Güell , Blue Tram - Tibidabo and Sarriá.

All routes depart at  9 am  and the last departures leave at 7 pm . The buses come approximately every 20 minutes.

Depending on the season, the bus frequency varies, between 5 and 25 minutes.

The blue and red lines run every day all year round and the green route only runs between 15 April and 25 September.

Night Tour Bus

It's always a magical experience to explore a city at night-time   when it's beautifully lit up and serene. The Bus Turístic organizes a unique night bus ride from June to September and it drives past Barcelona’s most emblematic landmarks all lit up.

The night bus service leaves from Plaça Catalunya at 9:30 pm and the tour lasts two hours and a half.

A ticket for an adult (over 13 years old) is €17  and for children from 4 to 12 years old is €10.
