Our three week trip to Australia

Our three week trip to Australia was organised by Jindy. It was a complex visit with three city stays and numerous pick-ups, flights, tours and hotels. Remarkably, each and every arrangement went according to plan and totally met our expectations. The trip simply couldn’t have happened without Audley’s expertise and I would recommend them to anyone considering such a journey. Their backup and documentation was of the highest quality and although we never needed any assistance it was a comfort to know it was available. All in all, top class.

A second successful holiday through Audley Travel.

Having booked our very successful 2019 holiday to Canada through Audley Travel I was totally confident I would receive the same high level of service for my recent trip to Australia, and I was right. From start to finish all related matters - flights, pickups, hotels, excursions, and car rental - were managed totally professionally. I did request minor adjustments and these too were handled seamlessly. First Class service from Jindy Sangha supported by Aly Findlay. A BIG THANK YOU from a very satisfied customer!

Our recent trip to South Africa for our…

Our recent trip to South Africa for our 55th anniversary was amazing. Thanks to Jeremy we stayed at two wonderful game reserves and spent time by the Indian Ocean as well. He helped us fulfill our wishes to watch elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and even dung beetles! All the arrangements for flights, drivers and accommodations were perfect. Everything went smoothly. Jeremy even told the lodge that it was our anniversary so we had a bottle of champagne waiting. This was our second time using Audley’s services and we have been very pleased both times. Thanks again Jeremy!

Great company to work with!

Great company to work with! Not only able to customize our trip and incorporate the activities and dates we had in mind, but also made some valuable suggestions to make our trip even more memorable. Our specialist was always available in a timely fashion and made sure we had the necessary info - even worked in some last minute requests for day trips. Our trip to Spain was planned by Eric

Our trip to Spain was planned by Eric. As usual at Audley, Eric laid out our trip with meticulous detail even though he had a very short timeframe in which to do it. But what really matters most is the help you get when you’re in a foreign country and don’t speak the language. We missed our flight and had multiple medical issues. The only person we could turn to was Eric. Despite major differences in the time zones he started to make the situation right. His help made a Big difference, his intervention saved the trip and made a bad situation much better.

Usually very good, now very disappointing.

I have worked with Audley many times in the past. Usually they are 5 star all the way from the agents on the phone to the ground people in country. I have merely had slight hiccups, which are to be expected. I recently used them for a trip with my husband, who now uses a wheelchair. I asked specifically if you can handle a wheelchair tour in Egypt. Yes definitely the agent said. Whenever I spoke to him I emphasized that we needed a wheelchair accessible van and accessible bedroom. He promised me these things. neither were available for this trip. We had to haul my husband in and of a regular van with brute strength. We stayed in three fabulous hotels. Only one had a handicap room available when we arrived. We made do with what was available. In Aswan we were scheduled for several trips on a boat. I questioned if this was possible . The agent Assured me they would be able to do it. Wrong again. We were there three days and only went to on museum. The rest of the people in our group had a wonderful time, but I was seriously disappointed. Usually when I return home, the country specialist arranges a call to discuss my experience. This didn’t happen for this trip. Poorly done Audley, very poorly done.

Peru, our best holiday so far!

We returned last week from our recent wonderful trip to Peru, the latest of several trips that we have made with Audley. Caroline Revnell was our specialist this time and after taking the time to get to know us and our expectations, she advised and planned the trip perfectly! Everything ran like clockwork; the hotels were all great, the local drivers and guides an absolute pleasure to spend time with, and all our excursions so enjoyable and with so many highlights. Simply flawless

Simply flawless! I booked a holiday through Audley Travel for myself, both my parents and my partner. I wanted to give my family an experience they would never forget. It began before we stepped foot out of the house. The extra touches that Cassie provided were fantastic. Welcome pack, the phone call and email check-ins. The transitions between airports was an incredibly nice touch. It really put my parents mind at ease. And the South African Safari at Geiger camp was absolutely out of this world. Amazing trip to Lisbon and Porto

One of the best holidays we've had - South Korea

The advanced planning with Charlotte was very effective. It was a very busy week but everything was perfect for us and our guides (Yumi for Seoul and Hong for Busan) were exceptional. We normally organise everything ourselves but decided South Korea needed more local knowledge and boy did it deliver, Exceeded our expectations and probably one of the best holidays we've had (and we have a lot). Everything went smoothly apart from one pickup, and even then I got instant support from the UK, brilliant. I would highly recommend using Audley Travel and when the situation arises we would definitely use them again :-)

Incredible Mistreatment on Solaris/San Jacinto “Cruise” to Galapagos: February 26 to March 4, 2024

My husband and I paid dearly (more than $16,000) for Audley Travel to book/arrange for us a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Galapagos. We expected excellence. We received the opposite. Here is the cautionary tale about Audley (the center of greed) and the half-wit thugs who ran the boat. Let it serve as a warning to others to never use Audley for anything and to never arrange any excursion of any length with San Jacinto/Solaris if you care about quality and the kindness or competence of the boat crew.

Cancun very expensive 60 dollars for an 8 minute trip to the hotel

Tropic Air was interesting 10 seater propeller plane so no air hostess !! Good places to stay, not beach people so one day less on the beach would have been better but Lamanai and Black Lodge really good and Xunantunich and Lamanai ruins worth seeing! Snorkeling at the beach resort also very good and saw lots of fish in soft coral ( not seen that before)

Has anyone used this agent before Audley Travel ( http://audleytravel.com )?

I recently signed up for a holiday to South America and was a last minute addition to the tour of 7 of us. I am only sharing a triple room and for a 10 day tour to Rio, Bueno Aires and Iguazu Falls it is costing me £2850.

To top it all off it is actually only 9 full days not 10 as one of those days is flying back to the UK,

I realise I had a choice as to whether or not I agreed to go but due to recent stresses in my life I needed to get away and it was just a phone call to the agent to get this sorted. I guess I signed up stupidly not realising what terrible value for money it was, which is unlike me.

I was curious if anyone else found the same with Audley Travel?

Next time for sure, I will be organising myself and will never use these services again.

If you type Audley Travel into the search box just above your question, and from the drop-down menu choose "All Forums" that search will yield many forum topics over the years.

Sounds like you booked quickly because of stresses in your life, wanting to escape for a while. That's understandable. Travel companies put together package trips that may not be the best value. They are obviously in business to make money, so are often more expensive than trips you independently researched and booked yourself. I think they rely on people assuming they couldn't organise it all themselves, so go for the convenient option of a package trip. But when they start looking into the components of the trip they see it's not top quality or good value.

You have booked it, and probably can't cancel or you would face stiff penalties. Maybe just try and enjoy the trip, relax and explore South America. Getting away might be just what you need. Then for future travel get a package trip quote, then use tripadvisor and other resources to see if you could do it better and cheaper yourself.

Safe travels.

Audley Travel have been around for quite a number of years, so imagine they are doing something right. If I was spending that amount of money on a holiday I would certainly have done plenty of research BEFORE I booked. Travel companies ar businesses that need to make money. You may possibly been able do have booked the same trip yourself at a much cheaper price.

The above to me sounds like a plausible and fairly logical explanation.

As for the £1000-1500 you're "probably going to spend", that is mere speculation and comes across to me as considerably high average daily spend on food for just 9 days. What you choose to or choose not to spend on food, is beyond the control of the travel agent. The final figure you've arrived at of £4000+, is *not* what the agent is charging.

It is unfortunate that you had stresses in your life, but nobody can reasonably expect agents to discount prices based on such circumstances.

And you have a number of flights and accommodations that this will apply to.

It is also normal on a tour to have to forgo days of exploration to travel between places. When you have time to plan you can take this into consideration and make an informed decision but I'm guessing that you just wanted to go.

It is actually not excessively steep for the destination and what you will see. It will refect the last minute nature of the trip.

Go and have a great time, unwind and enjoy the beauty of the place. Good memories are priceless and you will have them always.

I appreciate it is last minute, however my family booked a while ago and they are all paying £2500 each! I am paying an extra £400 for the last minute nature but even if I booked a while ago, it is still costing £2450 per person for 9 days in South America.

Seems very steep to me.

Did you complain to the rep/agent at the time, so they could have had the opportunity to solve the problem whilst you were there?

Our travel expert Brittany was EXCELLENT

Our travel expert Brittany. We decided to see the tulips in the low country on short notice. Brittany was knowledgeable and saved us from making the mistake of renting a car...something we typically do in Europe. She was able to get us great guides and access to the sites we hoped to see. She never 'over sold' us on what could be accomplished on short noticed and we were thrilled with what she planned. This was our 6th trip with Audley and we could not be more pleased.

Pulling Teeth

My Wife and I spent considerable time looking at a 2 centre Holiday in Europe (same country). We researched the Country we wanted to visit forensically, candidate Airlines and associated Airports, Logistics around Transfers, areas we wanted to Visit, type/style of Accommodation, availability etc So we had a pretty thorough itinerary with some flex on dates. We decided to invite Audley Travel to help us given their excellent reputation. Therefore, we provided a detailed brief which we felt covered all the bases. The initial e-Mail reply was encouraging the only question missing was budget. Given we’d indicated that we were seasoned Travellers we preferred Audley Travel to cost it out themselves as they might have different ideas given their vast experience so didn’t want to lead the witness. They did have a couple of reasonable and understandable questions so that was encouraging, which we answered immediately. The representative seemed to want to talk further which is some ways was fine but there was really nothing else materially to add as we had covered everything even down to what Trains we might want to catch! It was also an incredibly busy and stressful time for us hence looking to engage their Services. This Ping Pong started to become quite frustrating so we asked another specialist in the Travel industry to get involved. Within 24 hours they provided a fully costed itinerary which was first class. We thought we’d ask Audley Travel again as the representative seemed polite although unable to provide what we wanted. We hinted at a reasonable Budget, more than what we’d been quoted to be “advised” that it wouldn’t be enough for what we were looking to achieve. We’ve given the review 3 stars as we do think AT are a good business but, on this experience, they could have tried much harder especially given what we had done so in realty should be less. Bottom line their competitor showed more interest and initiative,

South Africa with teenagers

Robyn came up with a great itinerary for our Cape Town, garden route and safari brief. Being from South Africa and studying in Cape Town meant that she had lots of great ideas, especially for doing things that would keep the interest of our 16 and 14 year old. She had done most of the trip as a teenager herself so the advice was all spot on. Can highly recommend Audley and Robyn, it made the planning and travel super easy for us so we could just enjoy it!

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic trip with friends to Paris, Giverny, Honfleur, the beaches and museums at Normandy, Mont Saint-Michel, and the Chateaus and a winery in the Loire Valley. We were very impressed with the extremely knowledgeable and personable guides and the attention to detail by each of them. The drivers that took us between towns and to many of our tours were excellent and conscientious. We love the freedom and ability to customize our travel, and Audley made this dream trip for us possible. Kelsey White stepped in when our travel original trip planner at Audley left the company shortly before our trip, and Kelsey ensured that things ran very smoothly, and even helped us secure an additional airport transfer, the day before the trip when our flight suddenly got changed. Family Adventure in Vietnam

If you're seeking efficiency, a dedicated point of contact, and to review creative options to an open-ended destination mandate, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Ironically, if you already have a destination in mind, they seem to insinuate that you'd be better off booking it yourself at a cheaper rate. Engaging with this company is akin to trying to start an old, unreliable car - it's hard to get it going. Their priority seems to be determining if you're a fit for them rather than finding a holiday that fits you. I provided clear holiday criteria, but with no specific destination (just something exotic) as long as the flights were direct and a rough budget estimate. However, their convoluted business model, reminiscent of a medical triage system, involves multiple layers of administration and specialists. Their first line triaging contact suggested Thailand as a suitable destination. I said, sounds fine, but I requested minimal phone calls and emails and simply wanted emailed options and ideas to review before further discussion. Despite assurances, this request was disregarded. The specialist then got in touch, not via email as requested, but via a call. She said my £10k budget was insufficient. After an unnecessary remark about booking cheaper elsewhere, I reiterated that cost was not a concern, it never was, I wanted some ideas to show my wife. Yet, the conversation continued to drag on with little progress. The reluctance to invest effort without a commitment to cost and detailed specifications on location is frustrating. They treat potential clients as if interviewing you for a job, requiring exhaustive discussions before providing concrete ideas. I made the mistake of telling the specialist that the triage person had suggested Thailand, and whilst it sounded fine, I wasn't fixed. The specialist then wanted to return me to the triage stage for further discussion - the process was exasperating, especially given my time constraints, and especially that I made it clear I just wanted to book something, but needed to see some options. Dealing with them felt akin to navigating the bureaucracy of the NHS. I contacted them to streamline the holiday planning process, and take on that effort, not to endure endless conversations before they commit pen to paper. Ultimately, their failure to deliver timely options and their repetitive, protracted process suggest they may soon be outpaced by AI technology. Clients seek their expertise to craft unique experiences and find a destination that aligns with their aspirations, not to endure endless assessments of their suitability without tangible results. I suspect this company comprises "one man band" individuals more interested in selecting clients and securing large commissions ahead of putting in the hard work you are employing them for. Unless you have a specific destination in mind (and query how useful they are then given other options), this process and their reluctance to start doing the work and provide options, avoid. I work long hours and just need someone to do the work and show me the options... money isn't the issue, it's time. Unfortunately, their tone and approach cost them a commission in my case.

Our trip to Thailand "the land of smiles" was fabulous

Our Thailand trip was fabulous. With expert guidance from Saskia at Audley we visited golden temples, ancient ruins, vibrant markets (even one on a railway line!) and a variety of stunning landscapes. The smell and taste of Thai street food and fruit beyond imagination. The music of the rainforest- gibbons, birds and cicadas calling. The serenity of the hill tribe people. The poignant Burma Railway sites and the most beautiful cemetery. Fantastic tea tasting. Getting up close and personal with gorgeous elephants. Staying in a lovely selection of boutique hotels. I unhesitatingly recommend visiting "the land of smiles" Thailand with Audley to tailor the trip to your individual needs.

Vietnam Honeymoon

Having not used a tour provider before, we chose to treat ourselves for our honeymoon. Off the back of some recommendations and good online reviews we opted with Audley. The initial process was incredible easy, we set up a call with Christian almost immediately. Within a week we had a draft itinerary in place. Following a couple more short calls it was fully booked. The whole experience was unbelievably easy and throughout it all Christian was friendly, funny and helpful. We were very happy with the whole booking experience and then when we got out to Vietnam it got even better. The hotels, guides and excursions were all fantastic. Everything was organised for us and the guides were all incredibly helpful. Which meant throughout the whole trip we could just relax and enjoy it, despite moving around to several different cities and hotels. It's a trip we'll remember for a long time and for that we couldn't thank Christian and the rest of the Audley team enough.

The Holiday that kept on giving

We booked our Holiday last year to Vietnam and Cambodia for April this year to celebrate our 30th Annivesary along with our friends and we all had big birthday celebrations through out the year. The itinerary that Joanna put together for us, had a few hiccups that was beyond Audleys control, but they came back with better alternatives, upgrades and extras. The hotel La Siesta in Hanoi was fab, the street food tour was interesting, we also had a walking tour, got in the water puppet show and open top bus tour. Not sure I could do another cruise after being out in Halong Bay on the most amazing Heritage Line Ylang for two nights. Starting with an upgrade to a suite which was so spacious you would be hard pressed to think you where on a boat, along with a complimentary massage. Kayak trips, fresh fruit bowls and drinks greeting you on the beach after kayaking, hikes and bike tours on an island that is part of the itinerary. Morning Tai Chi on the sun deck, And the most outstanding meals that you could wish for. They really spoilt us on our annivesary and they didn't forget our friend had recently celebrated her 60th. The team on the Ylang are the most friendliest and fantastic crew that we had the pleasure in getting to know. Onto Siem Reap with an upgrade to the Shinta Mani due to our original booked hotel closing for refurbishments, along with another complimentary massage. Joanna also arranged a sunset canopies and cocktails at Amok Khmer evening for our anniversary and the team there are brilliant. The tours of the temples where great and sunrise at Angkor Wat is definitely worth the early morning alarm. Phnom Phen was a totally different experience to Siem Reap, we stayed at Le Royal Raffles and it was everything you would expect from the brand. We had a brilliant Street Food Tour with our guide Maria. Make sure you do something nice if you have The Killing Fields and musuem on your to do list , We had a little trip to the Royal Palaces which was a nice end to a hard hitting morning. Onto Saigon (Ho Chi Min City) We stayed at the Hotel de Arts, which has the most amazing roof bar and pool taking in the whole city views. We got to experience a street food tour on the back of a Vespa, definitely not for the faint hearted, but an amazing experience. We went to the Cu Ci tunnels by speedboat for the morning followed by a trip to the war musuem in the afternoon. Our last part of our adventure was a chillaxing 3 days on Pho Quac island at the Verandah Hotel. All the hotel Staff our tour guides and drivers throughout our 18 days were all so attentive and friendly and could not do enough for us. If the region is not on your radar or bucket list get it to the top you will not be disappointed, it is definitely our favourite continent. This is our 2nd holiday we have booked with Audley and it won't be our last. They don't do holidays they do Adventures and the most fantastic ones at that. Three perfect trips with Audley

This latest trip to Vietnam was the third time that we have used Audley Travel. In all three occasions we were listened to, so that they could try to put together a holiday that suited us. Flawless Experience

My wife and I turned to Audley Travel to book our tour of Scotland, and we approached the whole experience in a bygone, let-the-travel-agent-handle-the-arrangements manner. After two calls with the Audley representative, we had an itinerary that, at least on paper, matched our preferences. Then, on the first day of the trip, beginning at the local airport, everything fell into place… flawlessly. And everything that followed fell into place… flawlessly… for twelve days straight. We would simply show up, say our name, and… ta-dah… room reservation would be found or tickets would be found, and off we went. We did not have reason to use the local customer support (but knowing that it was there was a quiet comfort). More importantly, each accommodation, each tour, and each activity was perfectly matched to our preferences and our pace. We saw more, did more, and enjoyed ourselves more all thanks to the Audley representative’s talents.

Trip of a lifetime - 5 star service from Audley

It’s really not surprising that Audley has a 95% five star rating. We have just returned from a long awaited trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Dan, who initially organised our holiday for April 2023, went above and beyond to rearrange our trip when due to ill health, we were unable to make it that year. Not once was he phased by changing flights, hotels and at the last minute changing our daughter’s flight to come home earlier. The holiday was a dream from the professional and knowledgeable Agents used in both Vietnam and Cambodia to the private trips and experiences. With Audley, it all starts with the travel consultant on the phone. They do seem to take real care in first assessing your own outline thoughts and plansd re destination and type of trip, and then selecting the consultant with the right first-hand experience to fine-tune those ideas, sort out the logistics, and turn the dream into a coherent plan and itinerary. In this respect, we were fortunate to work with Charlotte Callin, whose experience and know-how is combined with friendly but professional communication skills, and unbounded enthusiasm for her specialist region of South East Asia.

Fantastic tour of New Zealand

Just back from a fantastic tour of New Zealand, which was organised by Audley Travel. The trip ran very smoothly, although we stayed at a lot of different venues. All the excursions organised by the company were great and we had a brilliant time. Paris&London, Mother&Son and a Trip Never Forgotten

Many 5-star reviews over promise and under-deliver. Mine, hopefully will not. From end-to-end our entire experience was positive. Our planner, Lily, was knowledgeable, understanding and creative. She tailored this trip to meet the needs of my mother with walking/stair climbing limitations. This was a life-long dream for my Mom to step foot on the European continent and visit Paris/London. We were worried she would not be able to due to her heart/health issues. However with proper planning, preparation and budgeting for taxis, Uber's and Audley's private drivers the trip was a resounding success. The hotel accommodations met and exceeded expectations, the tour guides were phenomenal (and future pen-pals), and the time saved dealing with 30+ reservations, itineraries, etc. was worth the money spent on our program; remember you're paying for peace of mind and that is what Audley delivered. So, take a chance. Save up the money and plan that dream vacation, photos and souvenirs cannot replace the memories we created in this trip. You never know how much time you have to take a vacation like this, and while pricey, the value will return back to you and then some. It already has for me. Well Done!

The planning for our trip was flawless

The planning for our trip was flawless. Drivers were always on time and uniformly helpful. Hotels were unique--not the usual chains--always lovely and well located. Guides were beyond amazing--knowledgable about history, architecture and art as well as warm and engaging. I can't say enough about Audley's travel services. we returned last week from 3 weeks in…

we returned last week from 3 weeks in Zambia and South Africa ,although an expensive holiday the accomodations were terrific and everything went smoothly despite 6 flights in total . Every meet and greet were waiting as was the taxis etc ..a 1st class service organised by andrew garlick at Audley. the last word kithara safari was out of this world and so was the waterberry lodge experience in Zambia

Caroline Revnell at Audley did a great job for our trip to Argentina-Antarctica-Iguazu Falls. Helped us choose just the right ship for us for our Antarctic cruise (Ocean Victory) and great guides in Buenos Aires, Ushuaia and Iguazu. The hotel in Iguazu (Belmond de Cataratas) was superb. Their local appointed agents were also extremely helpful, especially as there was a 24 hour air strike in Argentina while we were there!

We chose Audley because my husband uses a wheelchair and we wanted to be sure everything was right for him. Exceptional

We had a fabulous experience using Audley travel to arrange our honeymoon. We had Suzi look after us who was very knowledgeable, easy to chat with and understood exactly what we wanted to get from our trip. South Africa boutique style

We decided to book a trip to South Africa but didn’t know where to start. After engaging with a specialist Andy Freeman at Audley, the process was so easy and relaxing. A few calls with Andy, great questions to know more about us and what we wanted from the trip and presto we had an itinerary designed just for us. It was great experience.

This was our first experience using a travel agent to plan a trip for us. It was a trip of a lifetime, and we are ready to do more. We went from Perth, Australia on the Indian Pacific Railway to Adelaide. From there we drove the Great Ocean Road through Port Campbell and down to Melbourne. We then flew to Sydney before returning home. Our highlights were Rottness Island, Winery Tour, Kangaroo Island, Grampians National Park, Pinnacle, Mackenzie Falls, Boroka Lookout, Phillip Island Wildlife Expedition (including the Penguin Parade), Lanes and Arcades Tour in Melbourne, and Sydney Harbour Long Lunch Cruise. Anthony was thorough in talking with us about what kinds of excursions and tours we were interested in doing on this trip. He was there to assist us before, during and after this trip.

Brilliant Holiday Company

Alison worked closely with us designing our dream holiday to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Once in a lifetime trip to Iceland

Audley travel organized a wonderful trip for my family of 7 to Iceland. We had fantastic, knowledgeable guides to help us get the most out of our experiences in this gorgeous country. We were basically taken care of every step of the way from arriving at the airport to being driven back. Our agent, Julia Mole was responsive to our requests and constructed the perfect trip for us. We really did have a once in a lifetime trip to Iceland including Northern Lights, Ice Cave, Lava tube, Highlands SuperJeep tour, black beaches, geysers, geothermic pools, many beautiful waterfalls, finding the elusive Arctic Fox ,and even seeing an erupting volcano (that we were able to get pictures of on our way back to the airport). We had a very happy group of travelers.

Catrin made our holiday to Australia absolutely amazing!! I love that you speak to 1 person only and it’s someone who has been there and done it all! You know you are getting the best information and that they know the best tips and tricks for that place! We had the most amazing holiday everything went very smoothly. We had only 1 hiccup during our holiday with a transfer (not Audleys fault) but we phoned the Audley 24 hour helpline and within 10 mins Audley phoned us back and had sorted the problem! You get an amazing fabric itinerary folder and travel tags, which both are very useful but also work as an a amazing souvenir where you can look back on your holiday in years to come! Thank you Audley and Catrin so so so much for making our holiday the best it could be! We won’t hesitate to recommend you or use you for our future holidays!

Great customer service and attention

We wanted to take a moment to express our positive experience with travel specialist Jasmine Scott. Our family had planned to take a family trip to Peru to celebrate my husband’s 75th birthday. We were so excited but knew little information about where to begin. Ms Scott was extremely responsive to our inquiries, she listened to our interest areas and presented options for our itenary and made a conscious effort to be mindful of offering a trip within our budget request. We were very disappointed when unforeseen family circumstances forced us to change our plan, especially after the diligent and attention Ms Scott provided in helping us plan. Not what they used to be

Not what they used to be, have used them numerous times in the past, so contacted them several weeks ago for our next exotic trip, spoke to chap on phone who said someone would call us back. 3 weeks gone and no response so booked with someone else, so thats a £9k booking they've lost

Fab trip from Toronto to Halifax NS though Quebec.

We had a super time travelling from Toronto to Quebec on to Halifax Nova Scotia - the itinerary set up by Audley - everything worked perfectly and we had great communication from Hannah. She helped us through what to expect in Canada and their pandemic requirements so were fully prepared. Great accommodation choices though we do like to also stay in a house and Audley were unable to accommodate that so we went partly alone with some of our trip. Magical Trip To Italy!!

We just got back from a 16 day trip to Italy and we we could not have done it without Audley Travel and specifically our travel agent Annie Arthur! Every aspect of this amazing vacation was planned expertly from our start in Rome, to Florence, then to the Tuscan countryside of Montepluciano (our favorite stop!), and ending along the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Their private drivers were on time, professional and courteous, and every train ticket and private tour Annie arranged was perfect. We truly felt like rock stars! We fell in love with Italy...the people, scenery, beautiful accommodations, and the FOOD!!! We are so grateful to Audley Travel for the magical itinerary that made this an absolute dream vacation. Pulled out all the stops at short notice

At very short notice, Will in the Sri Lankan team kindly organised a fabulous 5-day Sri Lankan tour on the back of a business trip I needed to do. Special Canada Trip

Just back from a wonderful and special trip to Canada taking in the beautiful Banff, Jasper, Clearwater, Sun Peaks and Vancouver. Outstanding Holiday in Kenya and Zanzibar

We consider ourselves very lucky to have discovered Audley and Ben Bovill when we decided to visit Kenya and Zanzibar. Ben is clearly an expert on the region and put together a spectacular itinerary with efficient and welcoming partners in country. In Kenya we visited three superb safari camps (Chui Lodge and Kicheche), the city of Mombasa then flew to Stone Town in Zanzibar and finally to the luxurious Baraza resort. Every stage was meticulously planned allowing us to simply enjoy our holiday. We were not only met when we arrived in country but also assisted when we were checking in as we departed Kenya to fly to Zanzibar. Ben's selection of the safari resorts and hotels was simply outstanding - every one unique and utterly charming. The Audley service is bespoke enabling us to add our ideas to the itinerary. We highly recommend Audley and the wonderful Ben Bovill.

Walk about Down Under

We were fortunate to have Haley set up our dream trip 2 years prior to our departure due to COVID. Our detailed trip contained all that we asked for. And Annie was able to assist us to reschedule an event that we missed due to a schedule change issue. She also aided us during our trip and kept in contact with us.

So far excellent

So far excellent ! We have had the benefit of sage advice from Dan Pullen and he has handed over to Joann Austin. Just about to set off on our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia and we are already seeing the benefit of booking with such a personalised service. Our first night meal at an independent restaurant has been reserved for us by Audley just on a phone call from us asking for a recommendation. Will update when back.

We love the format of Audley vacations

We love the format of Audley vacations: just my husband and me and not a bus-load of other tourists. Our trip to the Eastern Cities of Canada was loads of fun. Because Audley is short-staffed following the pandemic some of the details in our documents were inaccurate but overall it was a wonderful trip. Our first trip through Audley was to Colombia in 2019 and it was absolutely fabulous!

Canada fly drive

We had a flat drive from Calgary to Vancouver. Everything was arranged for us so we had the most amazing experience and could fully enjoy our trip without any worries. Very good knowledge of each area and useful hints & tips !

Our experience with Audley Travel was excellent from start to finish. Natasha held a video call with my wife and I to discuss our interests, expectations and budget and did a fantastic job of managing each. An amazing holiday in South Africa…

An amazing holiday in South Africa starting with Cape Town and ending at Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. Having used Audley before I would not travel with anyone else, their experience and knowledge of the area is exceptional and their attention to detail outstanding. Our specialist for this trip was Richard Baxter who had a lot of personal experience having previously lived in South Africa. However all the specialists will have visited the places before recommending. The highlights of the trip were Sabi Sabi, a game park with no boundaries, the Eats Tour in Cape Town and the WineTour with Pietman Retief. I would strongly recommend if you want peace of mind when travelling to use Audley they are quite simply the best.

Fantastic Honeymoon in Bali

We were referred to Audley Travel by a friend, and couldn't have been happier with the service we received. Mat Hall helped us plan a fantastic honeymoon in Bali. He was very knowledgeable with first hand-experience of everything he recommended. When we were in Bali the organisation / transfers / trips all ran very smoothly and it allowed to us to completely relax. When we required a last minute change during the trip, he responded immediately (despite the time difference!) and sorted our issue. The trip exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend Mat / Audley to anyone.
