The Auburn University Athletic Department provides free tours of all of its facilities to any civic group. The tours are offered Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more information, email the athletic department at  [email protected]  or call (334) 844-9176. The general public can experience the pre-game locker room setup for the football team on Fridays prior to each home game from 4 to 6 p.m. Please enter at Gate 10 through the Jane and Mike McCartney Brick Plaza.

Auburn's New $91 Million Football Complex Sounds Incredible

Auburn University is home to iconic traditions , great memories , and the happiest college in America . Everything about The Plains is special and what makes the college football program great extends beyond the lines inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. The football facilities are second to none and they are only going to get better.

On the corner of Samford Avenue and Donahue Drive is the Auburn Athletics Complex , a 100,000 square-foot facility where so much magic happens. Staff offices, including athletics director Allen Greene, are in there. So are the digital media people who make all of those amazing hype videos.

Being in the Southeastern Conference certainly has its perks , and the virtual tour then-Auburn football co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Travis Williams gave in March 2020 is proof how good Tigers' student-athletes have it at times. The best is yet to come, though, because a $91 million facility is on the way.

What We Offer

The Recreation and Wellness center was built with the needs of the students in mind. When planning the new facility, the goal was to provide members with the best possible tools to improve their overall health and wellness. The result is a facility that is uniquely Auburn.

The heart of the facility is the 1/3-mile corkscrew track that winds through the building like a lifeline, delivering students and energy to the 100+ cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights around the Recreation and Wellness Center.

Other traditional recreational opportunities to engage members and keep them active include group fitness classes, Auburn Outdoors, a leisure pool, Intramural and Club Sports, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor soccer courts.

Available in half sizes only, lockers are equipped with their own lock. Lockers are available to students and members only.

Day-Use Lockers

Placed strategically throughout the facility and available for students and members at no additional charge. Lockers are available in half and wallet sizes.

Towel Service

$10 per semester

Grab fresh towels from the equipment desk any time, and drop them off on your way out.

Complimentary towels are available at the Equipment Desk.
