Guided Nature Walk Along Serene Andreas Creek

Visit spectacular Andreas Canyon in the beautiful and scenic Palm Springs Indian Canyons. Enjoy a guided 1-mile nature walk through a lush palm oasis along a serene Andreas creek. The springtime brings spectacular wildflower displays and an abundance of animal and bird life. The canyons are sacred to the Cahuilla Indians and are historically important to scientists and nature lovers. Footpaths wind along the canyon, and your experienced naturalist guide will share interesting facts about the Aqua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, who developed complex communities in these lush oases. NOTE: This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to complete a 1-mile nature walk. The ground is uneven in places and guests must climb up and over medium sized rocks in places. Indian Canyons Walking Tour by Jeep

This tour takes you on a jeep ride through some of the most beautiful and rugged terrain in the area, all while learning about the Agua Caliente Cahuilla Indians who once called this place home and have lived in the area for thousands of years. What To Bring

Wear closed-toe shoes with rubber soles (such as tennis shoes or hiking boots). Sandals and shoes with high heels are not recommended.

Wear comfortable clothing. Dress in layers as desert temperatures can change quickly. In the cooler months (November – March), it is suggested you bring a light sweater or jacket.

Don’t forget your camera! The photo opportunities are amazing on all tours.

Water is provided.

Safety First

All drivers are insured and safety is always the number one priority. The guides maintain contact with the office, all vehicles contain a first aid kit and fire extinguisher, and all guides are CPR and First Aid certified.

FAQs: Answers to common questions about red-jeep tours

Can they pick me up at my hotel?

Hotel (resort, vacation rental, etc.) pickup is offered on Group and Private Tours that are booked “by the Whole Jeep”. Public Tours and Private Tours that are booked “by the seat” depart from a centralized pick-up location.

Can we hire one of the guides to take us to other places?

Absolutely! If you have your own transportation but would like to hire one of our knowledgeable guides to take you hiking or touring in the area, give us a call and we will be happy to help you arrange a custom excursion.

Can you accommodate groups of 15 or more?

Yes. In addition to our smaller groups, we also offer larger group tours . These are generally priced per vehicle rather than per person. You will want to contact Red Jeep or go online and request a quote as prices vary.
