Diversity 2024 UK Tour Created By And Starring Ashley Banjo

Britain’s most-successful dance group, Diversity will soon get back on the road to start the 2024 leg of their Supernova tour.

Diversity’s Supernova tour is their biggest ever tour yet with over 120,000 tickets already sold across 90+ dates across 40 towns and cities. The tour also includes nine shows in their hometown of Southend at the Cliffs Pavilion. Remaining tickets are on sale now via https://gigst.rs/Diversity

Diversity have also confirmed that they will be supporting anti-poverty charity the Trussell Trust, which provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty while campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. Right now, millions of people across the country are facing a cost-of-living crisis as food and energy prices soar and families are feeling the biggest squeeze on incomes in a generation. Attendees on the tour are being invited to bring along food donations to the shows, where there will be collection points across the venue each night. There will also be collection buckets for any cash donations. All donations will be distributed to people in crisis across the 1,300 food bank centres in the Trussell Trust network. For more information on the items that are requested: https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-involved/ways-to-give/donate-food/ .

ABOUT DIVERSITY

Diversity took the nation by storm when they won the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and have since sold out multiple UK and Irish tours, with countless television and live performances. Alongside their Supernova tour, and in keeping with their progressive, innovative nature, Diversity last year launched Diversity Studios in their native Essex, offering in person and live streamed dance classes.

Last year, Ashley Banjo was awarded an MBE for his services to dance. Alongside choreographing and performing with Diversity, Ashley has been committed to educating people on dance, becoming a judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, and offering his expertise as a host and creative in the BAFTA nominated The Real Full Monty and International Emmy Award, Broadcast Award, and Royal Television Society Award winning The Real Full Monty: Ladies Night . Ashley also had the honour of becoming a co-presenter at the Pride of Britain Awards, working alongside Carol Vorderman.

Jordan Banjo has also hosted a variety of TV shows, including two series of BBC 1’s Primetime and BAFTA-nominated show The Greatest Dancer and recently was runner up on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity South Africa . Jordan along with Perri Kiely are also part of breakfast radio royalty, presenting Kiss Breakfast every weekday.

Diversity’s illustrious career shows how they continue to innovate, grow, and achieve. Collectively Diversity recently won Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment of 2020 at the British Academy Television Awards for their incredible Britain’s Got Talent routine, watch here .

Diversity’s sold-out Connected tour in 2022 combined playful, comedic routines with powerful statements on human connectivity. Big, relentless, and energetic, the tour dazzled fans across the UK.

Dance troupe Diversity have announced presale tickets for their upcoming Supernova tour that will stop in 44 towns and cities across the UK.

Founded by dancer and presenter Ashley Banjo , the group rose to fame during their stint on Britain’s Got Talent and, more than a decade on, they’re still going strong.

Giving fans across the country something to look forward to, they released a video teasing the extravaganza that’s set to be one of their biggest tours yet.

Calling it The Supernova Tour, presale tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 18 at 10am for locations including Eastbourne, Northampton, Nottingham, Portsmouth and Cornwall.

Posting an explosive reel hinting at what audiences can expect from the event, the announcement said: ‘We’re so excited to announce we will be touring with a brand new show!

Fans were quick to virtually share their delight and excitement following the news as congratulatory comments poured in.

Beginning next October, the tour schedule will continue on into 2024 where it will finish its run in April 2024 at Wolverhampton Civic Hall.

This new showcase follows in the wake of the troop’s current sold-out Connected tour that combined comedic routines with routines that made statements on human connectivity.

Never ones to shy away from promoting activism through dance, the group made their mark after winning a Bafta for their take on The Black Lives Matter movement during a performance on Britain’s Got Talent .

Bagging them the award for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment of 2020, the routine that walked viewers through what happened to George Floyd and the incident’s aftermath, caused a stir after receiving thousands of Ofcom complaints .

Diversity announce brand new 2021 UK tour

Find tickets here

Innovative dance group Diversity have confirmed details of a brand new tour.

The Connected tour kicks off at the Waterside Theatre, Aylesbury on Friday 19 March 2021, running across the UK throughout April and May.

The new tour centres around the world of social media, the internet, and the digital era we live in, and how it connects us all.

Creator and choreographer Ashley Banjo comments: “Every year that goes by, and every time we get to create a new touring show, I cannot believe we are still lucky enough to get to do this. But even after all this time, we are still growing, and this new decade and new chapter for Diversity is sure to be something even more special than the last. I truly do believe that we are all connected in more ways than one and I cannot wait to bring this to life on stage.”

Formed in East London in 2007 by lead dancer and choreographer Banjo, Diversity came to widespread public attention when they auditioned for the ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. Their first audition was a huge success, and the group were given three yesses from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan. After progressing through the semi-final, the group won the final of Britain’s Got Talent , beating off stiff competition from Susan Boyle in front of a TV audience of over 17million viewers.

ITV1 Britains Got Talent - Diversity Dance Performance - 2009 - 25th April

Since winning Britain’s Got Talent , Diversity’s career has gone stratospheric. They’ve danced for royalty at the Royal Variety Performance, for the prime minister outside 10 Downing Street, took part in the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in 2014 and performed to over 6000,000 fans.

A force to be reckoned with live, the dance group have completed nine sell-out UK tours so far. Their latest tour, Born Ready – The 10 Year Anniversary Tour, saw Diversity celebrate their ten years in existence, captivating fans all throughout the UK and receiving rave reviews.

Gruffydd will be supporting Diversity in their upcoming ‘Born Ready’ tour.

Innovative dance group Diversity are going on a huge tour in 2019 with their new show, Born Ready.

Formed in East London in 2007 by lead dancer and choreographer Ashley Banjo, Diversity came to fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. Their first audition was a huge success and after progressing through the semi-final, the group won the final, beating off stiff competition from Susan Boyle in front of a TV audience of over 17million viewers.

Since then, Diversity’s career has gone stratospheric. They’ve danced for Royalty at the Royal Variety Performance, for the Prime Minister outside 10 Downing Street and took part in the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games in 2014.

A force to be reckoned with live, Diversity have completed eight sell-out UK tours so far. Their latest tour, Ignite, saw them combine the world of street dance with the world of circus. Born Ready – The 10 Year Anniversary Tour marks a decade since the dance troupe won Britain’s Got Talent.

DIVERSITY 2021 UK TOUR ANNOUNCED

DIVERSITY 2021 UK TOUR ANNOUNCED

DIVERSITY Presents ‘CONNECTED’ 2021 UK TOUR ANNOUNCED CREATED BY ASHLEY BANJO

After nine sell out UK tours, over 600,000 tickets sold, and countless television and live performances Diversity have announced one of their biggest UK tours to date including two dates at London Palladium for spring 2021.

Last year marked 10 years since Diversity took the nation by storm when they won the third series of Britain’s Got Talent. Over the past 10 years thanks to the overwhelming support of their fans and the British public they have continued to wow audiences around the world with their innovative live tours and performances. They celebrated this incredible achievement with a critically acclaimed sell out 48 show UK tour, Born Ready.

This tour is set to be even bigger, and as Diversity promised their fans on the Born Ready tour, they will continue the legacy of Diversity and never let anyone tell them they cannot achieve something. To take them into the new decade of Diversity, Ashley has created a new show, ‘Connected’, which centres around the world of social media, the internet, and the digital era we now live in, but more importantly how this connects us all.

Creator and choreographer Ashley Banjo said of the forthcoming tour, “Every year that goes by, and every time we get to create a new touring show, I cannot believe we are still lucky enough to get to do this. But even after all this time, we are still growing, and this new decade and new chapter for Diversity is sure to be something even more special than the last. I truly do believe that we are all connected in mores ways than one and I cannot wait to bring this to life on stage.”

Ashley Banjo has returned to the judging panel for his third series on ITV’s primetime show Dancing on Ice, the final airs this Sunday on ITV with fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely competing for the winner’s trophy. Ashley has also hosted, choreographed and starred in the BAFTA nominated The Real Full Monty (2017-2019) and International Emmy Award, Broadcast Award, and Royal Television Society award winning The Real Full Monty: Ladies Night (2018) and (2019). Ashley’s show Flirty Dancing on Channel 4 completed it second hit series last December.

Fellow Diversity member Jordan Banjo is currently hosting the second series of BBC 1’s primetime show The Greatest Dancer. Watch the final this Saturday at 6.30pm here .

Diversity continue to inspire the next generation of dancers and cannot wait to launch their online dance classes 20DV and return to Butlins this summer to showcase their 20DV experience dance academies.

Jennifer Lopez shuts down question about her marriage to Ben Affleck during movie press tour

Jennifer Lopez quickly shut down a question about her marriage to Ben Affleck while promoting her movie “Atlas” this week.

The megastar appeared unfazed at the press event in Mexico City on Wednesday when asked about reports that the pair were rumored to be living separately .

Toward the end of a question-and-answer session, the singer was asked by someone in the crowd: “Your divorce with Ben Affleck is real? What is the truth?” according to a video shared on X by Glamour México y Latinoamérica.

Lopez was onstage with co-star Simu Liu, who quickly intervened by saying: “OK, we’re not doing that.”

Lopez gave the questioner a smile, then leaned in and said: “You know better than that.”

The question came after the panel discussion had wrapped up, according to video shared by El Gordo y La Flaca on Instagram.

After the question was shut down, Liu added: “If I could just end on one thing, Jen is a producer on this movie, and the reason why I’m here and the reason why Sterling was in this beautiful movie was because Jen cares. Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she’s a boss!”

The sci-fi film “Atlas,” which is set to release Friday on Netflix, stars Lopez, Liu, Sterling K. Brown and Lana Parrilla.

Lopez and Affleck, who were engaged in the early 2000s but broke up and spent 17 years apart, rekindled their relationship in 2021 and tied the knot in July 2022.
