• SEA CAVES  - Thalassines Spiles were till approx. 1960 seals were living. It’s a very quirky part of the coastal line where over many years the sea and wind have sculpted caves ledges and islets in a very artistic way.
• BANANA Plantation – Close to the Akamas region is the area of Paphos with most Banana Plantations. You will see from up-close what makes the Cypriot Banana so special 😉
• AVAGAS GORGE – Walk in the gorge which is well known for its 30-metre-high limestone walls. Rich vegetation and fresh springs create an atmosphere that will put you in positive mood for the rest of the day.
• LARA BAY - Well known as one of the most important breeding sites in the Mediterranean of the Green Back turtle and Caretta-Caretta.

Troodos safari will be one your most memorable trips on the Island taking in the breathtaking views from the highest peak of Troodos mountains and reaching some of the most remote places on the island. Our excursion will bring you to following places.

After pick up from your accommodation or agreed pick up point we take you to

• DONKEY FARM - Get up close and personal with these cute animals (RIDING is optional 7€ for 15 minutes).
• WATER DAM - see how we take care of water shortage on the Island during a quick photo stop.
• We will drive through the shades of the TROODOS FOREST on our way to the
• VENETIAN BRIDGE - Built by the Venetians (1489-1571) one of a series of bridges that where part of the old camel trail to move valuables of the Island.
• Further we go off-road onto the 11th century built KYKKOS MONASTERY which is one of the most famous and richest monasteries in Cyprus. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the monastery houses many treasures like one of the surviving icons ascribed to St. Luke covered in tortoiseshell and Mother-of-pearl.
• MOUNT OLYMPOS - The highest peak of the Island for a photo stop. (In winter weather permitted)
• TROODOS WATERFALLS – A visit to this small waterfall is always refreshing in summer.
• OMODOS VILLAGE - We come to this picturesque white village, where you can visit the old wine press take a look in some traditional houses and visit the monastery of the “Holy Cross”.
• WINERY – Visit to a local winery with some free wine testing, can’t say no to that 😉
• ROCK OF APHRODITE “Petra tou Roumiou” - BIRTH PLACE OF APHRODITE , the Goddess of Love. (in summer swimming stop weather & sea conditions permitted).

You will charter the entire Land Rover Jeep (max 10 passengers) with your own driver/guide who will take you on  THE TOUR BASED ON YOUR INTERESTS & LIKINGS!

The Jeep Safari on Troodos Mountains is a definite must during your holiday in Cyprus visiting the green heart the island, "Troodos Mountains" where time has stood still and long standing local traditions are still practiced. During the Troodos jeep safari you will meet the locals, visit forgotten villages, gaze upon breathtaking views from the summit of mount Olympus and feast upon scrumptious local delicacies. Stavros Tis Psokas: Travelling through Pafos forest were we will stop the jeep at a forest station to see the famous Moufflon in their natural habitat. Kykko Monastery: The richest monastery in Cyprus, which is situated about 3750 feet above sea level in the midst of a pine forest, in the centre of a cross formed by two hills and two valleys. This working day monastery is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Lunch at Pedoulas: village, "the cherry village of Cyprus". Time for an enjoyable traditional Cyprus lunch washed down with local "plonk" (not included in price!). Mountain Olympus: The highest peak of the Troodos Mountains at an altitude of 6400 feet. The views are breathtaking. Omodos: A village which in recent years has become a favourite resort for both Cypriots and foreigners. We will end our Troodos Jeep Safari passing by the birthplace of Aphrodite (rock) on our way back to your Paphos hotels or private accommodation.
