A Full-Day Jeep Tour

From 8:30 to 17:30. The tour includes pickup and drop-off from your hotel.

After paying the deposit for the tour here by PayPal, you will receive the time you must wait outside the hotel by email.

We will send you a nearby meeting point if you stay in an Airbnb apartment.

Payment and Booking

At the time of payment, you will pay only a tiny part of the amount through PayPal (A deposit).

Your journey begins as we pick you up from your hotel in Paphos.

The day begins with a visit to a stunning Water Dam, perfect for capturing some Instagram-worthy photos.

As we venture further into the Troodos Mountains, you’ll drive through the Troodos Forest, surrounded by towering pine trees and fresh mountain air.

Next, we’ll stop at the  Venetian Bridge , a charming relic from Cyprus’s past.

Then, we will take a moment to soak in the history and snap some pictures before we head to the renowned Kykkos Monastery.

Marvel at the intricate architecture and serene surroundings of this sacred site.

As we ascend Mount Olympos, the highest peak in Cyprus, we’ll pause for a photo stop, weather permitting.

Then, prepare to be enchanted by the Troodos Waterfalls, where you can enjoy a stroll and admire the cascading waters.

Our journey continues to Omodos Village, home to the Monastery of the Holy Cross.

Explore the village’s quaint streets and immerse yourself in its traditional charm.

We did get to try a small piece of halloumi during lunch but only of you ate in the restaurant we were taken to at your own expense. A standard tour bus is not suitable for us so we asked for a private tour. Constructour arranged for Viola to pick us up from our apartment this morning. From that moment until she brought us back this evening Viola was amazing. She is so knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Island that she brings Cyprus to life. She tailored the tour to match our needs and included Aphrodites Rock, Omodos, a wine tasting, a chocolate demonstration (and tasting), Kykkos Monastery in the Troodos mountains and others. OUR STORY: HOW WE CAME WHERE WE ARE TODAY

LAND ROVER TREASURE JEEP SAFARI

– BEST EVER JEEP SAFARI TO DISCOVER CYPRUS OUT OF PAPHOS –

Land Rover Treasure Jeep Safari was formally known as Hilde Jeep Safari the founders of the Jeep Safari in Cyprus.

The owner of the company Riccos, grew up in and around Land Rovers and to no surprise ended up with a big passion and great knowledge of Land Rovers. As a young driven man, he set up his own successful business with watersports/sunbeds on the beaches of Paphos from where in the beginning of the 1980’s he started developing the first Land Rover Jeep Safaris. What started as a need to show some special places to friends met on the beach developed in a full range of 4×4 trips for the people that were visiting his country. A completely unknown new concept at that time, with tours to the Akamas Peninsula & Troodos mountains that included BBQ’s & life music of course using Land Rover Jeeps.

Long wheel-based Series to start with and by 1989/90 moving on to Defenders. Hearing about these trips the tour-operators couldn’t wait to “get in” in this popular activity and the business developed quick. By mid-nineties the company was running over 22 Land Rover Defender Jeeps and picking up guests Island wide. It was that time the only company who was already going by Jeep to the famous “Blue Lagoon”.

Then came the time when commerce & scale took over and we felt we could not give our guests the quality of trips they deserved so we took the difficult decision to downsize, to stop cooperation with big holiday companies and to go back to the drawing board. BEST DECISION EVER! We developed the Safaris to trips we would like to take ourselves, a trip never to forget with special memories and who knows new friendships made.

Still operating today now under the NEW NAME LAND ROVER TREASURE JEEP SAFARI our aim is still to show our guests the real Cyprus with the real feel of the hospitality it’s known for with loads of info and a big smile in a safe way. 😊

Guide was knowledgeable and driver drove safely. Both were very pleasant and made us laugh. I am not very tall so the driver always helped me in and out of the jeep without me asking, which was so kind of him. We stopped at many wonderful places and had enough time at each location to take great pictures. The scenery on the drive was stunning and there was plenty of opportunity to use toilets and get water. The place we stopped for lunch (optional) was also lovely. We arrived back in paphos around half past 4 (i think) which was also great as it meant the day wasn't too long and exhausting. I would highly recommend this safari trip! Jeep safari vibes but just tropical version. You get the whole jeep experince sitting at the back, bumpy fun rides, views on views. It is a bit of a thrill but recommend people who love adventure!!! The guide was so lovely and talked to us about each monument and sight seeing around us. History was told and questions answered. The tour of small villages was much appreciated as well. Trusted the guide and felt safe even on the thrill rides to the mountains:))) managed to swim in the Blue Lagoon as well as Adonis Waterfull and had a delicious meal with the view of the sea. We visited a banana farm and were given a brief intro by our driver along with a banana! Off to various sites with view point stop offs and running commentary. The driver was hilarious and knowledgeable. The ride, bumpy, so be prepared- it is off road for most of the day. There's a coffee stop, a swim stop and a lunch stop (meals not included). The most beautiful nature pearls of southern Cyprus can be visited in one day! In addition, it is a unique company that transports all the way to the blue lagoon! And we were lucky enough to get the driver Jannís, who even the drivers of other companies bowed to and said without hesitation that we were extremely lucky to be driving with him. Even when driving through spectacular cliffs, you could trust him and feel confident, his charisma and sense of humor added even more color to the trip! without hesitation, my husband and I will repeat the trip if we will be again in Cyprus, but only with this company! The "guide" (I think his name was Lambros) was totally obnoxious, talked more about politics, Turkish "invasion" of Cyprus and how Muslims are "taking over" the island and "become majority", rather than telling us about the beauty of Cyprus! He even encouraged other people from the jeep in engaging themselves into Turkophobic and Islamophobic discussions! No mention about his sharp "jokes" against me and the disgusting way he told me to go to Turkey if I "dared" to have another opinion about his words, about the disgusting way he said "oh, maybe you are Muslim!"! To be honest, our trip wouldnt have been even remotely as good as it was i we wouldnt have gone to this trip. We never experienced driving skills like that, the ride on the jeep was as good as the views that we saw. Really i could not recomend this trip enough, I hope u get to ride with the purple jeep because the driver was trully amazing. From the banana plantations to the shipwrecks and the sea caves; from the Aphrodite’s baths to the Adonis waterfalls and from the turtle museum to the Akamas nature reserve, the blue lagoon swim and the visit to traditional Cypriot villages, the day was packed with variety and an endless supply of information and entertainment from Mario’s, our indefatigable host who gave us not only geographical information but also a flavour of Cypriot life now as well as in generations past. Troodos Jeep Safari – Day trip tour from Limassol

Valid until October 2024 – Every Wednesday

Jeep safari begins with a visit to Kouris Dam.  Enjoy the view point and the sunken church of Alassa village.

Continue with a stop at the picturesque Village of Laneia. Enjoy a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses.

Tour continues for visit to one of the largest waterfalls on the island – “Millomeri Waterfalls”.

Heading up to Ayios Nicolaos village for a break and coffee will then visit the ancient “Tzielefos Bridge”, hidden deep within the mountains, which in the past the bridge connected the two parts of Cyprus. 

Continuing further, there will be off-road driving towards Kykkos Monastery, which is, dedicated to the Virgin Mary.  it is one of the wealthiest and most lavish monasteries in Cyprus, and houses one of the three icons attributed to Apostle Luke the Evangelist.

For lunch there will be a stop in a traditional village tavern.

After Lunch, from there on Jeep Safari tour continues to Mount Olympus, which is the highest peak point on the island.

Finally the jeep Safari is completed with a visit to Omodos,  a traditional village, where the Church of Holy Cross can be viewed, translated as church of “Timios Stavros”. in the village one can explore the local souvenir shops. The different types of local wines can also be tasted as Omodos is considered one of the famous wine producing villages in the area.
