Global superstar, Karol G , announces her awaited return to the stage with her “MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO” stadium tour. The tour promises to further propel Karol’s superstardom, following her albums stellar accomplishments like making her the first first female artist to reach #1 on Billboard Top 200 with a Spanish-language album. Produced by Live Nation, the six city tour will begin on Friday, August 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and make stops across the U.S. in Pasadena, CA, Miami, FL, Houston & Dallas, TX, and East Rutherford, NJ.  

The announcement arrives a couple of weeks after her dazzling debut on Saturday Night Live, where she performed “TUS GAFITAS” and “MIENTRAS ME CURO DEL CORA,” and participated in a sketch about Spanish class that starred Ana de Armas, Marcello Hernandez, and Mikey Day . This tour adds to the star’s growling list of accomplishments, which most recently include becoming the first female artist to sell out three back-to-back shows at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico. Captivating more than 90,000 attendees, Karol brought her heart to the island giving the world a glimpse of what is to come with this tour.

After recently releasing Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) , Karol G embarked on her first-ever U.S. stadium tour last week on August 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The queen of the urban genre is set to headline a 15-date concert run, produced by Live Nation, featuring stellar guests such as Young Miko , BadGyal , and DJ Agudelo888 . And the demand has been so high in our country that the Colombian had to extend the list of dates up to two times .

Without a doubt, she’s at the pinnacle of her career, making history with Mañana Será Bonito debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 200 Albums chart. This achievement marks the first No. 1 all-Spanish-language studio album by a female artist. Her tour will take her to various cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Chicago, and Orlando, among others.

Just hours after officially wrapping her two-weekend performance at Coachella, Karol G announced she’ll be hitting the road once again with a new summer and fall tour.

Coined the $trip Love tour — which is produced by AEG Presents — the Colombian singer kicks off the trek on Sept. 6 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. She’ll make pit stops in New York, New York, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas, and more before wrapping on Oct. 29 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.

“There has never been a tour where they sing to love so nasty,” the singer wrote on Instagram, alongside a nearly one-minute video showing footage of her in a bed, and other scenes of professional pole dancers.

The announcement comes on the heels of a successful week for Karol, who not only performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but also released her new single “Provenza” and won six awards at the 2022 Latin American Music Awards ,including the coveted artist of the year and album of the year for KG0516 . Additionally, her Becky G-assisted “Mamiii” continues to hold the No. 1 spot on the Hot Latin Songs chart.

$trip Love tour follows Karol’s 2021 Bichota tour, which grossed $10.9 million and sold 128,000 tickets across 24 shows according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

Tickets for the 2022 trek go on sale at noon local time on April 29 via KarolGMusic.com . Artist pre-sale will begin at noon local time on April 26 with code “AMOR.”

After captivating a sea of blue-wig-wearing fans at Coachella , Colombian singer-songwriter Karol G has officially announced the dates for her new “$trip Love Tour.”

The tour, produced by AEG Presents, will visit 30 cities in North America starting with the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, on September 6. The circuit will also make stops in New York, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Las Vegas and more before wrapping in Vancouver, BC on October 29. The full itinerary appears below.

Since the start of her global breakthrough, Karol has surpassed many important milestones in her career, with Coachella being the latest. The two-weekend festival saw the singer paying tribute to Latin American pop culture with a musical showcase on the world-class stage honoring Selena, Shakira and more.

Karol was also accompanied by special guest Becky G , with whom she sang her successful collaboration, “MAMIII.” On weekend two, J Balvin joined her on stage as a surprise to perform his hit “Mi Gente.”

And although we’ve heard Karol on a myriad of features and collaborations (most recently on “Un Viaje,” with Jotaerre and Alejo), she also premiered a new tropical pop song on the festival stage titled “Provenza.”

Just in time for summer, “Provenza” merges reggaeton melodies and afro-beats to support the catchy chorus: “Baby, ¿qué más?” The single was released alongside an accompanying music video shot in the Canary Islands and directed by Pedro Artola.

Her previous 2021 “Bichota Tour” was her first U.S. round-about and sold out in multiple locations. This time around, Karol promises to deliver her greatest hits on 30 stages across the U.S. for her biggest tour to date, “Strip Love Tour.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 29 at noon local time.

The year’s sultriest tour is officially underway.

Karol G’s historic ‘Mañana Será Bonito Tour’ where she becomes the first female Latinx entertainer to headline a stadium tour continues Friday, Aug. 25 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

After that, she’ll perform ten more concerts at stadiums all over North America up until Sept. 28.

That includes back-to-back headlining gigs at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 7 and Friday, Sept. 8.

As of now, tickets are available for all 11 remaining shows to see the “TQG” singer live.

Karol G is making her return to the stage with a Summer 2023 stadium tour.

The “MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO” tour kicks off on August 11th in Las Vegas Further dates are scheduled in Pasadena, Miami, Houston, Dallas, and East Rutherford, NJ over the course of August and September. Additionally, Karol G will play Lollapalooza in Chicago.

Update : Karol G has added new headlining stadium shows in San Fransisco, San Antonio, Chicago, Atlanta, Orlando, and Boston.

For the newly announced dates, registration for a Ticketmaster Verified Fan pre-sale is now ongoing through Sunday, June 4th. The Verified Fan pre-sale will commence on Wednesday, May 7th, followed by a general on-sale on Friday, June 9th at 12:00 p.m. via Ticketmaster .

How Karol G’s tour is helping fans heal heartbreak

Over two nights in Southern California, Colombian singer Karol G not only celebrated a historic achievement but was also able to provide a therapy session to the 120,000 fans that converged on the Rose Bowl Friday and Saturday nights.

This week, Karol G became the first Latina to get a Spanish-language album to No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart with “Mañana Será Bonito.” Her tour, by the same name, also includes her new album, “Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season),” which was released days prior to her first show in Santa Clara. The album features artists Peso Pluma, Kali Uchis, Young Miko and more.

Before the show, fans were eager to share their stories of heartbreak and the recovery that Karol G’s songs helped provide.

When“Gucci Los Paños” plays in the car, Ana Godoy of Riverside turns up the volume and thinks of her ex.

“Las noches que por ti sufrí. No me las paga ni toda tu plata,” Godoy reads the lyrics off her phone and recalls her former love, “He did me so dirty, and honestly this song has helped me.”

Fighting back tears, so she doesn’t ruin her perfectly crafted pink eye makeup before the show, Godoy shared that she will probably cry when Karol G performs this song. By then, Godoy will have captured enough selfies that the tears streaming down her face will serve as a reminder that she overcame the heartbreak and lived, just like Karol G.

As the lights began to dim to signal the start of Friday’s show, amid the excited screams of fans, an animated storybook appeared, narrated by the familiar voice of Morgan Freeman.

He narrates the story of Carolina, a mermaid who spent her days swimming through the sea and soaring through the skies until her world turned dark. Seeking solace from her pain in the ocean, Carolina flies up to the sky causing her heart, and the world around her, to freeze.

The animated video symbolizes Karol G’s public breakup with artist Anuel AA in 2021.

Karol G’s vulnerability in her songs is what has made fans like Monica Muñoz of the Inland Empire all the more connected to the Colombian singer. “I was with somebody for seven years, engaged, and it didn’t work out. So I just feel so close to her,” Muñoz said.

“She was a big part of my healing process,” Muñoz said, adding that Karol G’s song “Amargura,” which shares feelings of jealousy and bitterness that linger after a breakup, helped her heal from her own breakup. “It’s been a year, but I’m good. Happy. Better. No more sadness,” Muñoz said. Now she’s looking forward to songs that put her in a good mood after a hard day’s work, like “Ojos Ferrari.”

Karol G began Friday’s concert with music from her “Mañana Será Bonito” album, specifically her highest charting song, “TQG,” featuring superstar Shakira, who also faced a public breakup with ex-soccer star Pique.

Between the first couple of songs, Karol G told the audience that this was her first sold-out concert, which caused her to add another day in Los Angeles. It was both a moment of reflection and gratitude for the artist as she looked out at the crowd in amazement.

The animated storybook theme continued between sets with Carolina the mermaid wandering through the frozen sea encountering a small butterfly, voiced by RuPaul. The butterfly is meant to symbolize her fairy godmother, who helps Carolina get rid of self-pity to take control of her life. “The time has come to be strong and tell yourself you can do it,” the butterfly says, waving its wand, and a new Carolina the mermaid appears ready to dominate as “La Bichota”.

“She feels what a girl feels when you’re going through a really bad heartbreak, honestly,” Erica Alderete of Boyle Heights said. She takes Karol G’s new bichota era to heart, “At the end of the day, you know, estamos facturando….if you ain’t got time for me, well I ain’t got time for you,” Alderete said.

While some fans looked forward to her new songs, notably “Oki Doki,” “Mi Ex Tenia Razon,” with more upbeat rhythms, Jesus Garcia of Modesto looked forward to Karol G’s more sentimental piano ballad, “Ocean.”

He takes the lyrics “Me siento grande por ti” to heart, adding “if I don’t believe that in myself, how can I have someone else feel that for me?”

Garcia views Karol G as an inspiration. “I started following her from the very beginning where she performed in a theater with no chairs to a stadium that has 60,000 people.”

Though the song “Ocean” was once dedicated to her past love, Karol G told fans Friday night to continue to cherish the lyrics and give it a new meaning. People in the crowd hugged and kissed, some even turning from the stage to face each other as they slowly danced side to side.

She owns her hurt and uses it as a tool for collective healing in her music. Her music reminds fans that healing is not linear and that it is OK if today is a bad day because tomorrow will be better.

An animated Morgan Freeman returned before Karol G’s final set: “There’s a bichota inside every single one of you. You just have to embrace your authentic self just like Carolina did,” he says, legs crossed in a library as he closes the storybook.

“Que chimba la vida,” he adds, reminding the audience that “Mañana Será Bonito.”

Karol G holds the current record for the most tickets ever sold on one tour for an international artist in Guatemala and the most on a tour, with over 100,000 tickets sold over the two nights in Costa Rica. She was also the first female artist to sell out at the Olympic Stadium in the Dominican Republic for two nights.

Karol G is the first and only artist to sell out two nights at Estadio Monumental in Venezuela and the first female artist to sell out three National Stadiums in Chile.

But the journey doesn’t end here

Who else is doing it like La Bichota? Over the weekend, Karol G concluded her Latin American run of shows for the Mañana Será Bonito tour in São Paulo, ending a record-breaking, 12-country, 15-city tour during which she sold more than a million tickets, according to Live Nation.

After the successful run in Latin America, Karol G will bring the Mañana Será Bonito tour, which celebrates her Latin Grammy-winning album, to the road in Europe starting in June. She’ll stop in Zurich, Amsterdam, London, and Paris, before headlining four consecutive nights at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

“Those true fans, who have been there since Karol was a local singer in Medellín, understood the magnitude of her MetLife moment. It was proof of how global Karol has become, and how far her career has taken her,” wrote Rolling Stone ‘s Julyssa Lopez in a review of her New York City show. “[Fans gave] Karol a triumphant standing ovation, all of the fanfare fit for pop royalty.”

Latin superstar Karol G sold over one million tickets during the Latin American leg of her Mañana Será Bonito Tour, shattering several records across numerous LatAm countries.

In support of her fourth studio album, the Colombian singer embarked on the second leg of her ‘Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful’ Tour in February after wrapping up a 15-city stadium run across the United States, plus two multi-act ‘Mañana Será Bonito Fest’ shows at her home Estadio Atanasio Girardot stadium (cap. 45,900) in Medellin, Colombia.

Beginning the Live Nation-backed LatAm tour in Mexico, the Grammy-Award-winning songstress became the first Latina artist to sell out three nights at Mexico City’s Azteca Stadium (cap. 87,523) — the largest stadium in the region. She went on to do two nights in Guatemala, where she sold the most tickets for any international artist in the country. In Costa Rica, she broke Coldplay’s record by selling 104,686 tickets over two nights at the country’s national stadium.

Breaking records at nearly every stop on her 15-city venture, Karol G became the first female artist to sell out two nights at the Dominican Republic’s Olympic Stadium (60,000) and three shows at Chile’s national stadium (60,000). She’s the only artist to sell out two nights at Venezuela’s Estadio Monumental (84,567) and became the fastest Latin female artist to sell out two stadium shows in Argentina with her two Estadio Vélez Sarsfield (49,540) performances.

The reggaeton starlet kicks off her debut European tour next month, and is already breaking records in the continent

This leg concluded last Friday (10 May) at São Paulo’s Centro Esportivo Tietê (16,000), G’s first show in Brazil. Organisers upgraded to the sporting complex from the 8,000-capacity Espaço Unimed after high demand for the Spanish-singing starlet from the Portuguese-speaking market. She’s due to return to the country to co-headline the seven-day festival Rock in Rio in September.

Next month, the 33-year-old reggaeton starlet will tour Europe for the first time, starting at Zürich’s Hallenstadion (11,200). The 18-date arena tour, to which eight shows were added after the initial announcement, will see her play two nights respectively at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, London’s The O2, Paris’s Accor Arena, Milan’s Mediolanum Forum and Lisbon’s MEO Arena.

The European leg will close with four stadium performances from Billboard’s 2024 Woman of the Year at Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu (85,000), the first artist to sell out four consecutive nights at the venue.

Here’s What Happened at Karol G’s ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ Show in Brazil

Karol G wrapped up the Latin American leg of her Mañana Será Bonito Tour on Friday night (May 10). The Colombian superstar brought out a few of the country’s top artists as her special guests. 

Back in February, Karol G kicked off the Latin American leg of her tour in Mexico City. Since then, she has performed in stadiums in countries like Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina. Karol G was originally scheduled to perform in Brazil on May 9 at the Espaço Unimed. Due to high demand to see her live, she moved the date to May 10 and changed the location to the massive Centro Esportivo Tietê.

During her concert in Brazil, Karol G donned a green and yellow outfit, which are the colors of the country’s flag. Throughout the tour’s run, she performed “Tá OK,” the Brazilian funk banger by DJ Dennis and Kevin O Chris. Last year, DJ Dennis released a remix of the song featuring Karol G and Maluma. While singing “Tá OK” live this time, Karol G brought out DJ Dennis and Kevin O Chris to join her onstage.

Another special guest for Karol G’s concert in Brazil was Pabllo Vittar . She brought out the Brazilian drag pop star to perform the Major Lazer hit “Sua Cara,” which originally featured Vittar and Anitta. In Instagram stories leading up to her Brazil concert, Karol G revealed she was practicing the Portuguese language. She put her skills to work when singing “Sua Cara” live with Vittar and having a blast while doing it.

On June 8, Karol G will launch the European and U.K. leg of her Mañana Será Bonito Tour. Her first stop will be the Hallenstadion in Zürich, Switzerland. Earlier this month, Madonna brought out Pabllo Vittar as a special guest for her record-breaking concert in Brazil.

Her latest fashion moment comes after the singer performed in Argentina and Chile, as part of her world tour following the release of her album. Apart from traveling around the world and performing for her fans, she also received incredible recognition at the Latin American Music Awards, where she was honored with six awards, becoming one of the biggest winners of the night, alongside her boyfriend Feid, who also received six awards.
