Showcasing a star-studded lineup of world-class comedians, Royal Comedy 2023 officially kicks off in Feb. 3 in Orlando before making its way to Atlanta. Tickets go on sale to the general public 10 a.m. local time on Friday, Nov. 11 at Ticketmaster.com .  Ticket prices start at $59 plus additional taxes and fees. ORLANDO, Fla. – Get ready for a comedy coronation at the University of Central Florida Friday night as the kings and queens of laughter roll into town.

The Royal Comedy Tour is coming to Addition Financial Arena at 8 p.m. and features a star-studded lineup that includes Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Lavell Crawford and Don “DC” Curry.

Sommore is known for being a trailblazer to women in comedy, with such specials as “Chandelier Status” and “A Queen With No Spades,” and has starred in a number of films, including “Soul Plane,” “Something New” and “Friday After Next.”

Bruce Bruce has been seen on stage, TV and film in everything from Netflix’s “Family Reunion” to Ice Cube’s “XXX: State of the Union.”

Taylor Swift Announces End of Her Eras Tour Era: “I Think I Once Had Hobbies”

There’s long, and then there’s “perform a very physical three-hour-plus concert 150ish times around the world throughout two calendar years.” The latter is where Taylor Swift finds herself, announcing onstage at her 100th Eras Tour performance that her December 2024 run in Vancouver, Canada will be the end of the tour.

While introducing the 10-minute extended version of “All Too Well” (speaking of long) Thursday evening in Liverpool during the first of her three planned shows there, Swift announced the news.

“You know, this is actually the 100th show of the show,” she said, saying that it “blows my mind.”

“This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life,” she said. But all good things must come to an end, or so we hear. “This is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is gonna end in December,” she said. “Like, that’s it.

“And that feels like so far away from now,” she added. “But then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour. Because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do a hundred shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.”

She went on to admit that “this tour has really become my entire life. Like, it’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore. Because all I do when I’m not on stage is, like, sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups and think about what you might want to hear. So when I’m not on the stage, I’m dreaming about being back on the stage with you guys.” She thanked the fans for their effort and told them that “I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us.”

Notably, Swift has dropped the (Taylor’s Version) re-recordings of two of her older albums, Speak Now and 1989 , during the tour’s run, plus the super-sized 31-track album The Tortured Poets Department . Oh, and she released that record-breaking concert film Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour . And she nabbed a historic fourth Album of the Year Grammy . That to-do list of hers has gotten plenty done, and there’s still time yet for more of the singer's signature surprises.

Though she sings in “Gorgeous” that she’ll “stumble on home to my cats,” Swifties know that there’s someone else the singer has been spending time with offstage, and he also has whiskers, despite being human. Swift stayed up late Thursday night to virtually join in on celebrations for boyfriend Travis Kelce as he and the Kansas City Chiefs accepted their latest championship hardware during the ring ceremony for their 2024 Super Bowl win. While Swift couldn’t do a repeat of February’s post-game celebrations (smooches, lip-sync serenades , and all), she hopped onto the Instagram Live cast of the ceremony to watch Kelce put a ring on it and dropped some choice all-caps comments in real-time.

“JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LET’S GOOOOOOOO,” she commented on the stream, throwing in some “AHHHHHHH” and “YESSSSSSSS” to make her feelings clear. Eventually, she decided that it was time to get some sleep, presumably to prep for Friday night’s show and have those dreams about being onstage that she talked about. “Gotta go to sleep it’s so late here love you guys❣️❣️❣️,” she wrote in parting.

The Eras Tour continues its European run through August, before Swift takes a several-week break. In mid-October, she concludes the tour with stops in three U.S. cities, then a final jaunt to Canada to close out the run, which began in March 2023. Then, perhaps, she will rediscover her hobbies.

Amanda Seales is a comedian and creative visionary with a Master’s in African American studies from Columbia University. Seamlessly blending humor and intellect, her unique style of smart funny content spans various genres across the entertainment and multi-media landscape. She is best known for her iconic role as “Tiffany DuBois” in HBO’s “Insecure” and her debut stand-up comedy special, “I Be Knowin,” and as a former co-host on daytime talk show “The Real”, host of NBC’s “Bring the Funny,” and host/writer of the groundbreaking 2020 BET Awards.

Joe Dombrowski, presented by Comedy Records, is having a full weekend residency at the Royal Theatre from November 14th to 16th.

Native Metro Detroiter, Joe Dombrowski took the world by storm in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that landed him multiple appearances on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Don’t get it twisted though! It takes at least 20 years to be an overnight sensation! Joe has been doing stand-up comedy since he was eight years old in his third-grade talent show. He’s never stopped! Since Joe’s rise to fame, he has been traveling the globe with his stand-up comedy which often highlights his outrageous family dynamics and of course his time as a former elementary school teacher.

Joe has been featured as a headlining act at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal and the New York comedy festival and will also be headlining two shows in the 2024 Netflix Is a Joke Fest at The Hollywood Improv. Joe is also incredibly humbled to be hosting a monthly show at the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, CA beginning fall 2024. When he’s not getting creative on stages and screens, Joe spends his time in Seattle, Washington producing his podcast “Social Studies” where he recaps outlandish stories from fans all over the country.

Dr Jason Leong is coming back to the Royal Theatre this August 17th at 7:30pm!

Dr Jason Leong has had a hectic couple of years, becoming the first comedian from Southeast Asia to have TWO comedy specials on Netflix – “Hashtag Blessed” (2020) and “Ride With Caution” (2023). And featured on Comedy Central’s “Stand Up Asia.”

He returns to Canada having put his name well and truly on the world comedy map after selling out the global tour of his previous show “Brain Drain”, which culminated in Leong becoming the first Malaysian comic to appear at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival. Where he was invited to the New Faces International showcase.

Comedian Joe Avati is bringing the laughter to the Royal Theatre October 25th, 2024 at 7pm!

Liza Treyger is coming to the Royal Theatre on November 22nd!

Liza Treyger is a stand-up comic who most recently was seen recurring in the Netflix series SURVIVAL OF THE THICKEST. Additionally in film and television, she has appeared in Jordan Peele’s NOPE, the Judd Apatow movie, THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND, and HBO’s PAUSE WITH SAM JAY. Liza has Netflix and Comedy Central half hour specials and has appeared on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS, CHELSEA LATELY,  @MIDNIGHT , LIGHTS OUT WITH DAVID SPADE, THIS IS NOT HAPPENING, HORACE AND PETE, and many more fun things. She and Kara Klenk co-host, THAT’S MESSED UP, a podcast about LAW & ORDER: SVU. What makes Liza most proud is she regularly performs at The Comedy Cellar and The Comedy Store.

Urzila Carlson, has become one of the biggest names in comedy in Australia and New Zealand!

Her trademark deadpan humour and cheeky wit has seen her win fans the world over for her television appearances and live shows. A touring powerhouse, Urzila has toured the globe and sells out live shows year after year.

In the first half of 2023, Urzila embarked on a highly successful tour of her show It’s Personal throughout the UK, captivating sold-out audiences. Following this, she triumphantly returned to Australia with her new show, Just No! earning the prestigious People’s Choice Award for the second consecutive year at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Looking ahead to 2024, Urzila will embark on an Australian Tour with her new show Just Jokes in 2024 and appear at Netflix is a Joke Festival in LA in May.
