I purchased the BagSmart Cosmetic Bag in the large size in a bright yellow. I have dragged around the same old cosmetic bag for 25 years because it was PERFECT. I replaced it first with the ebag one. I didn’t like it at all. Gave it to my granddaughter. I then bought the BagSmart per your recommendation. OMG. Yes, I FINALLY threw out my old one. I found the perfect replacement. I love the Briggs and Riley Transcend Toiletry bag. The bag has a nice box bottom to keep everything situated when hanging and also some extra pockets for smaller items and cosmetics. I like the fact that it is a buckle loop instead of just a hook so that you have more hanging options. Of course the lifetime warranty is a plus because this is an investment piece.

With 2 little ladies, ages 11 & 13, any toiletry bag is simply a container to transport items – it never stays organized! As a result, we place all our items in an approved, clear bag (a.k.a. zip-lock or our ChicoBag ‘Travel Zip’) then, upon reaching our destination, I gather up available containers – glassware, mini trays, etc. – and organize the bathroom, not unlike our bathroom at home. It takes minimal effort, even for one night, but makes bed time & our morning routine so much simpler!

I was so excited to see you included the LL Bean hanging toiletry bag. I have used mine for over 2 decades. It’s very durable, just wipe with damp cloth if something gets on it. It’s big enough for my family’s items. It has lots of storage, organizational pockets, even a clear plastic zipper pocket, the best part is the hanging hook. We camp a lot and most of the time there is no place to put your things. I can usually find somewhere to hang it and it’s off the ground and out of the way of others in a communal bathhouse. The only drawback is it does take up a lot of space in you travel bag (I use the matching LL Bean adventure duffle bag) if you are flying. Since I mostly do lots of car trips, I’m not as limited for space. It works great for me. When flying, I use a quart size, freezer bag for my 311 items, then incorporate back into my hanging bag.

I’ve heard so many good things about this bag! I also still use a ziploc when traveling and insert it inside my toiletry bag afterwards. I try to avoid spills as much as possible.

I love my Hello Kitty one, haha. It’s a dark pink leopard-type print with two flat compartments and one expandable one for slightly bulkier items, so the case will lie flat if there’s nothing too bulky in any of them yet will accommodate things like hotel shampoo bottles, deodorant and soap cases if you want it to. I go it in LAX during one of my stop overs. 🙂

I’m not sold on any of them because they only work for checked luggage. I want someone to invent a hanging toiletry bag that can be used in carry on without having to take everything out and put it in a ziploc bag for going through security. 🙂

For something small to replace your ziploc bag, use a makeup bag with a handle. Easy!

This doesn’t sound simple… But it is … And works well.

I run a three bag system. 1. A clear zip lock bag which has my liquids in it – easy to remove for security on the plane 2. A messy bag which has other things – like my ear plugs, toothbrush etc … Things that I might need on the plane 3. A hanging toilet bag … When in transit, this holds things like my hairbrush.

Before entering the security zone, I open my bag… Open the toilet bag, and on top is the clear zip lock bag – and put it in the tray.

When I get to the seat on my plane, I also remove the mesh bag, and put the clear bag and mesh bag in my seat pocket. (And my iPad and headphones)… Then the rest of my bag goes in the overhead locker. I have every thing I need to flight with me, and everything I don’t need in the over head locker.

Next trip … Four weeks – and counting!!!

I have basically the same system! The 311 items are in a quart size baggie, which I keep handy in my backpack (I travel for work with a carry-on and backpack- backpack goes under the seat, suitcase in overhead). In other words, I’m not in and out of my suitcase- I put everything that has to go in a bin into my backpack so I’m only having to pull out from one place.

I love my Rick Steves toiletry bag. It holds a lot, yet is flat and fills well in my carry on suitcase. He also sells, a small mesh insert with a hanger that fits flat in this bag. It is perfect for your small bottle of shampoo and bar of soap, to take into the shower and hang on the shower head, if there is no shelf in the shower. Perfect!

As a team that's constantly travelling around the world, our editors have strong opinions when it comes to packing. A quality suitcase is a must, packing cubes are the secret key to travelling hand luggage only, and an organised wash bag is an absolute essential. The tricky part is pretty much every accessories brand, hotel and even airline has a wash bag now. Much like the mass of branded tote bags out there, the average bag tends to be a printed canvas zip-up pouch that can look nice but isn't that practical when it comes to travelling.

In our experience, the best way to choose the right travel wash bag depends on the kind of trip you're set to take.

For short trips: I love the ease of a clear case for stashing all of your essentials. Not only is it easy to find everything, but if you're travelling with only carry on luggage , a clear case avoids the need to unpack and repack your items into one of those plastic sleeves when going through security at the airport.

Russia showcases captured Western military gear ahead of Victory Day

R ussians are gearing up for a parade to commemorate Victory Day. According to reports, the Russian Ministry of Defense intends to display up to 30 pieces of equipment from twelve countries. This display includes Leopard tanks, Bradley fighting vehicles, and Marder 1A3 vehicles.

Bild indicates that this year's Victory Day parade in Russia will occur eight days earlier than usual. Starting May 1 at Victory Park in Moscow, an exhibition of Western equipment captured or destroyed in Ukraine will be on display. The exhibition aims to highlight the achievements of Putin's forces in the so-called "special operation."

The Kremlin's aim with this exhibition is propagandistic, seeking to showcase Russia's success in the conflict against Ukrainian fighters and their Western allies.

At the exhibition, attendees will encounter vehicles and firearms of foreign armies, combat documents, maps, ideological literature, and equipment, as menioned by Bild. Visitors will have the chance to see German Leopard 2 tanks, Marder vehicles, French AMX-10RC tanks, Swedish CV90 IFVs, and American Bradley vehicles up close. This equipment originates from military aid provided to Ukraine by its allies. Footage showcasing these machines being transported to Moscow has surfaced online, with one clip distinctly featuring the Leopard 2 tank.

Ukrainian armored forces are outfitted with Leopard 2 tanks, primarily models 2A4 and 2A6. These models are among the most favored tanks in the European sector of NATO, marking the advent of third-generation armored warfare technology in various military forces. Leopard 2s were first deployed by the Bundeswehr in 1979, leading to the subsequent development of numerous upgraded versions over the years. The 2A4 model, in particular, is highly regarded by the Ukrainians. Developed in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it is often hailed as the zenith of Cold War-era tank development.

This variant introduced a digital fire control system allowing diverse ammunition types and enhanced armor incorporating titanium and tungsten layers.
