Excellent content and value for money…

From the start of the booking process to arriving back in the UK on our return flight we felt valued and well looked after. The flights, transfers, hotels, transport and itinerary content all met or exceeded expectations. One internal flight was delayed whilst airside which we struggled to get information about. One guide was very poor compared to all the others who were really brilliant. If this is the usual standard of trip then we will definitely use the service again.

Patience paid off

I first spoke to Mark who was very pleasant & helped me with with my initial reservation. The following day I spoke to Matt (Mark was out of the office). Matt was the most helpful explained everything even going over & above to book myself & friend (as solo travelers). Morocco Holidays

We have been to almost 50 countries and this was the first group tour which has been one of the best holidays. Very well planned and the guide made all the difference. Online website is helpful for planning purposes. Although I would highly recommend speaking to a live agent to finalize your booking. Although I have not taken the vacation trip yet, and therefore, I cannot comment on the hotel quality, food and excursions. I will know after I complete my first trip with Exoticca. I have one concern though ...website has installed Adware on my PC. I have to figure out how to get rid of the Adware.

Great value

Your trips are always the most affordable. The only thing I think you are doing wrong is not providing water on the bus. When I went with you to Morocco, I couldn’t believe were left without water in a desert country. I recently returned from Thailand with Gate 1 and the water and wet wipes they gave us throughout the trip is what saved us from heat exhaustion.

Hassle Free & Excellent Trips

I have now been on two seperate tours with Exoticca. South Africa & Zimbabwe (Safari) Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand Two very different trips, but both very well planned and excellent guides. Extraordinary China 🇨🇳 tour

The pick of Beijing, Xi'an, Guilin and Shanghai was a thoughtful representation of the whole country both rural and urban, political and financial nerve centres. Well done. Visited lots of interesting tourist sites in each city English speaking tour guides were excellent Travel and arrangements prior to and during the tour was impeccable Quality of booked hotels in Beijing and Xi'an was low unfortunately. Those in Guilin and Shanghai were top notch. The schedule was somewhat hectic especially in the 1st week. Could be a bit more relaxed. The entire tour was fantastically good value for money

Would have liked Exoticca management to be more visible

Positive start to my vacation

Wow. The best service keeps getting better.

Vanessa helped me with paying the balance for my trip to Spain. She also answered many questions I had related to traveling solo and especially what Barcelona may be like. Great experience in the past

Great experience in the past. Went on Ecuador/Galapogos/amazon adventure in January. We love every minute of the trip. The tour guides were very informative and friendly. Improvements to raise a B+ service to an A+.

Although the travel agents are very personable, they need to be corrected at times, e.g., they forgot to upgrade from charm to superior, to request twin beds rather than a double bed, to resolve the issue of one luggage bag per person from Delhi to Male while all our other reservations to Delhi and return to NYC from Male allow 2 luggage bags per person. Otherwise the service is pretty good in general.

Very organized-Amazing Guide…

Very organized-our guide in Portugal was very friendly and knowledgeable and his enthusiasm for his culture showed! We took the culture and coastal tour and were awed with many lovely landscapes. I would have liked more time to explore in Sintra. There is some free time but be prepared to het your steps in!

All fine until paying the balance

All fine until paying the balance. For some reason I was unable to pay by credit card [which offers protection should anything go amiss]. I don`t pay by bank transfer for internet purchases; so in the end had to pay by debit card.

Do Not Recommend

Do Not Recommend! Made 1st down payment via credit card but two days later without notice the ONLY way to make the 2nd final installment was by wire! You should never purchase a trip via wire. Filed a complaint with my credit card company and after some back & forth my deposit was refunded by TM.

Best travel company we’ve ever used

We have travelled a lot and Exoticca, by far, has been the best experience. All flights, transportation, lodging, and excursions are taken care of the company and the local travel agencies they partner with. Once you book, be patient. Everything about the trip doesn’t come to you the second you pay. We booked four months out from our trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe and only had our international flight details the next day. Then a month and a half later local flight details came in and at the one month time frame, details about transportation, hotels we were staying in, etc began to populate in the very user friendly app. Let their process work, and be patient, and I promise you will have the best trip of your life.

In fact, according to Justin Chapman, a travel expert who specializes in safaris at Go2Africa , tipping in some locations may actually be seen as offensive.

Here are his rules of thumb depending on where you’re visiting this summer.

How much to tip in Europe

It varies from country to country, but in general visitors don’t need to leave a huge tip in most of Europe. In some countries it’s becoming increasingly common for a 10%-15% service charge to be included in the bills in places like restaurants, while in others, it’s up to the visitor’s discretion.

Chapman said a good rule of thumb for Europe is to leave a little change and round up to the nearest euro on a bill if you’re not sure what to do. The same goes for taxis, bars and coffee shops.

How much to tip in Africa

In most of Africa, Chapman said, a 10%-15% gratuity on restaurant bills is customary, as are tips equivalent to $10-$20 per day for staff at your lodging or any tour guides you may do business with.

How much to tip in Central and South America

A 10%-15% tip is customary in most restaurants in Central and South America, but tips are even more important for tour guides, who Chapman said rely heavily on that income. In Colombia, he said, $10-$20 per day is appropriate for guides, while $5-$10 is all right in most of the rest of the region. Chapman said it’s especially important to tip generously for guides in Brazil. 

Taxi drivers across the region don’t necessarily count on tips, but rounding up to the nearest whole currency amount is often appreciated.

How much to tip in Asia

Tipping is not widely expected in Asia, and can actually be seen as offensive in some countries, particularly in China and Japan. In Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and Vietnam, tipping is becoming more common and around 10% is generally seen as an acceptable gratuity there.

In general, Chapman said, it can often be best not to tip in Asia if you’re unsure to avoid inadvertently causing offense.

Where will euro 2024 be held  .

Germany will host EURO 2024, having been chosen to stage the 17th edition of the UEFA European Championship at a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Nyon on 27 September 2018. Türkiye was the only other nation that bid to hold UEFA EURO 2024. West Germany hosted the 1988 edition, but this will be the first time Germany has staged the UEFA European Championship since reunification. The 2006 FIFA World Cup also took place in the country.

When is EURO 2024?

The UEFA EURO 2024 final tournament is scheduled to take place from 14 June to 14 July 2024. The group stage runs until 26 June, with the knockout stage beginning on 29 June.

As the host nation, Germany are seeded in Group A and will occupy position A1; they will therefore play in the opening match – against Scotland – at the Munich Football Arena on Friday 14 June. Germany/West Germany have featured at every EURO since 1972. West Germany won the 1972 and 1980 editions, while the reunited Germany triumphed at EURO '96 .

Who has qualified for EURO?

The draw for the final tournament was held in Hamburg on Saturday 2 December.

What is the tournament format?  

The format will be the same as for UEFA EURO 2020 . The top two in each of the six final tournament groups will proceed to the round of 16 along with the four best third-placed finishers.

Where and when will the final of UEFA EURO 2024 be played?

Berlin's Olympiastadion will stage the final on Sunday 14 July 2024.

What are the EURO 2024 host cities?

The ten venues chosen to host games at the tournament include nine of the stadiums used at the 2006 World Cup plus the Düsseldorf Arena.

Uniquely, the Munich Football Arena will be staging matches for the second EURO in succession; Bayern München's home ground was one of 11 arenas that held games during UEFA EURO 2020.

FUSSBALLLIEBE, the Official Match Ball of UEFA EURO 2024 that will be used during the final tournament , was unveiled in November 2023 by UEFA and adidas at a special event in front of the Olympiastadion in Berlin. German for "love of football", FUSSBALLLIEBE features adidas Connected Ball Technology for the first time at a UEFA EURO.

Who is the EURO 2024 mascot?

The official tournament mascot is named Albärt following a vote conducted among UEFA.com users and schoolchildren across Europe, through the UEFA Football in Schools programme. Albärt, a teddy bear, won 32% of the vote. The ursine mascot was first introduced to Germany fans in Gelsenkirchen in June 2023, ahead of the national team's friendly game against Colombia.

The volunteers will represent Germany in the ten host cities and stadiums during the event, welcoming guests from all over the world, as well as playing a central role in making the tournament a EURO for all, bringing to life the motto 'United by football. Is there an official EURO 2024 song?

FIRE – from Italian producers Meduza, American pop-rock trailblazers OneRepublic and German singer-songwriter Leony – has been released on all streaming platforms.
