DaniLeigh Announces ‘4 Velour’ Tour, First Headlining Run of the U.S.

DaniLeigh, fresh off her new EP, MY SIDE , now announces the “4 Velour” Tour, her first major head­lining tour of the U.S. The five-week, 21-city “4 Velour” Tour will begin on September 9 at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California, and conclude on October 13 with a homecoming performance at the Novo in Los Angeles.

The week before MY SIDE came out, Dani released her most recent “Heartbreaker” single and lyric video. She had made her eagerly anticipated comeback in May with the heartbreakingly honest tune “Dead To Me,” whose music video debuted this month.

R&B starlet DaniLeigh has been pouring out fresh material in the form of songs such as ‘Dead to Me’ and its housing EP ‘My Side.’

DaniLeigh Releases ‘Heartbreaker’ Video

The song appears on her latest project, "my side.".

DaniLeigh continues to make moves. The multi-platinum entertainer has unveiled a video for “Heartbreaker.”  

In the Maxx & Madison-directed video, DaniLeigh gets incredibly comfortable in a spacious home decorated with thin, white curtains and minimum fixtures.

She sheds the top layer of her clothes, getting down to her bra and panties. From there, she gracefully floats across a living room in a scene that she choreographed.

“Heartbreaker” is taken from DaniLeigh’s latest project, My Side , released on July 22. The honest tune has been streamed nearly 429,000 times on Spotify. 

The seven-track EP, which had songwriting and production input from the legendary Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, includes the previously shared “ Dead To Me ,” which was the lead single. It has an accompanying music video. On Spotify, “Dead To Me” has surpassed the 2.7 million mark, the most played song from the EP. 

Rated R&B’s Antwane Folk called DaniLeigh’s My Side her “most forthcoming project to date.” She’ll support the candid EP on her 4 Velour Tour later this summer.

Her first headlining trek begins on Sept. 9 in Santa Ana, California. She’ll perform additional shows nationwide before she concludes on Oct. 13 in Los Angeles, California. Tickets for DaniLeigh’s 4 Velour Tour are available now.

DaniLeigh is about to hit up a stage near you with her U.S. tour titled 4 Velour . She is promoting her new EP, MY SIDE .

This marks her very first headlining gig in the United States.

DaniLeigh turns up in LA for last night of ‘4 Velour Tour,’ brings out Ty Dolla $ign and Dreezy

DaniLeigh brought the vibes in Los Angeles last night at The Novo. The Miami-native, LA-based artist kicked off her first major headlining 21 city tour in the U.S. September 9th, and ended it in Los Angeles October 13th with openers, music artists, Larrenwong and Jilly Anais . “4 Velour Tour” is inspired by her EP, My Side .  Remixd Mag was there to cover the whole thing.

DaniLeigh has been on a mission to regain momentum since the drama of her past relationship with DaBaby, and has chosen to put all that into her music. Back in May, she released her first single, “Dead to Me,” which really set the tone for what listeners could anticipate in the My Side EP. A week prior to releasing the EP, she released “Heartbreaker.”

Dripped out in a black bedazzled leather outfit, DaniLeigh opened up her set at The Novo in Los Angeles with her single, “Superstar,” off of her 2020 Movie album. She then made her way throughout the stage for just about an hour and a half singing slow ballads such as “Put U On,” and “Bullshit” for the first half of the show. DaniLeigh’s daughter, Velour, walked onto the stage and shared a special moment with the audience as she embraced her while singing, “4 Velour,”  which inspired the name of the tour.

DaniLeigh then switched gears for the second half of her set as she performed her more upbeat tempo dance songs such as “Diamonds on Me,” and “Levi High,” in which she even changed out of her heeled boots into some sneakers to be in dance mode for. As an artist who got her start in the music scene through dancing, DaniLeigh is known for her fun, playful, and sultry dances, and she really displayed that during her show. 

Before wrapping up her set, DaniLeigh surprised the audience by bringing out Los Angeles’ very own, Ty Dolla $ign to perform “ I Wish .” She later brought out Dreezy to perform her song “Close to You.” As the night came to a close, she then thanked her fans for coming out to support her before singing her popular “Easy” song, and closing out with her smash hit “Lil Bebe.”

“4 VELOUR,” Dani said of the tour, which is named after her daughter . “For you, my baby,” the recording artist exclaimed. “Thank you to everyone that came out this run,” DaniLeigh wrote to her fans. “Thank you for my team working so hard,” she added.

“It meant the world ‘cause it wouldn’t be possible without that beautiful crowd [in] each city,” the recording artist said of her supporters. “I hope I made a fan forever to those that came out and I’m excited to keep growing and glowing!”

DaniLeigh’s new album addresses her life’s changes that have transpired over the past few months. Since her last project, Dani has become a mother, gone through a very public breakup, and gained lessons that she hopes to pass along to her daughter one day.

“I feel like I’ve grown a lot,” Dani said of her creative process during an interview in 2020. “I’ve grown with my pen for sure,” she added. “I feel like my pen has gotten stronger,” the recording artist said of her songwriting capabilities.

“[I’ve also grown] as a woman,” DaniLeigh continued. “I’ve just grown up more,” she added. “The Plan was when I was 22. I’m 25 now so I’ve definitely gone through more life, and I always have my sound—my sound is my vibe which is like R&B, trap, you know those types of production beats, but I’ve definitely grown. It’s just all growth.”

Velour made DaniLeigh a mom for the first time last July. The little one is her father DaBaby’s fourth child. The VELOUR tour began in Santa Monica, California, last month and ended in Los Angeles, California, this past weekend. You can stream DaniLeigh’s new album on all major music platforms.
