I missed my connecting flight due to long lines at security and immigration. Need improvements
Food quality is deteriorating each time, last year was very good. I avoid the plane food lately.
Been flying on various airlines, all over the world, for 50+ years. The food on Brussels Air was easily the worst I ever endured.
I felt the overall quality of the plane and food service was less than that of their partner airlines, United. An example was wine was served in paper cups in premium economy class. There was no real silverware, napkins or a welcome kit other than a pillow and blanket.
Boarding time was a bit slow causing the flight to not leave right at 5 pm,but other than that it was fine.
I like the frequent mails we get when there is an update. Please keep it up
I have traveled to probably over a hundred locations worldwide, but had only one mixup of airport in Shanghai. Until Iceland and Stockholm. Reykjavik has 2 airports, Stockholm 4 (!). Please indicate clearly when a departure flight is scheduled from an aiport other than the international aiport. That would greatly reduce stress. Thanks
More than one hour detail with no explanation and no compensation
my husband's monitor did not work. there was a visibly ill family in my husband's row.
There was a two hour delay because of incompetence in scheduling fuel truck. Further, upon arrival in Roanoke, hand baggage was sent to baggage claim. We carry hand baggage because it contains valuable or sensitive materials that we do not want going through the baggage system. This is very poor and United needs to perform better.
I realize it almost has to happen, but giving up one carry-on is difficult. With the standard one in the overhead and one under the seat, I believe it could have worked. We chose British Airways because of its baggage allowance, but giving up on carry-on is a major negative in choosing BA in the future. Again, it is understandable. Everything else is top notch. Thank you.
The flight was excellent with very attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious and amenities were nice. Only trouble was the 1 hour and 20 mins I had to wait for luggage. Guess there was an electrical problem at the gate.
Economy class has no legroom so if you have the money worth to upgrade! Food was absolutely horrible! The crew was super nice!!!!!
the crew was very friendly. The check in staff was a different story. I was flying club and when I arrived at the check in desk the two people behind the desk waved me to another person. They were too busy chatting. This person checked me in and said to walk to the gate immediately. At it was 1h12mins before the flight, I asked if I could use the lounge. No, he said. Straight to the gate. Obviously it was crowded, uncomfortable and irritating as the flight was delayed and a herd of people were standing in front of the gate, hoping to get in first
Flight canceled two hours beforehand, BA reticketed us so that we would have had to leave from Edinburgh instead of Glasgow, where we were already at the airport. We would have arrived in Boston too late to get home to Vermont. Instead with some pressure we were reticketed from Glasgow on Lufthansa, which avoided Heathrow, a great benefit after our horrible experience at Heathrow when we arrived in Britain three weeks earlier. (Kayak assebled an itierary that did not leave adeqate time for the connection at Heathrow, where thousands of people were trying tio get through inadequate and badly staffed security and staff did not know the slightest details about where and which lines we should get in.) The British Airways travel experience is not to be recommended these days.
One of the flight was cancelled. My experience was poor.
THe flight, crew and service was good. The only problem was the long delay and that the Captain's announcment about the delay was only in English on a BUDapest Hungary flight.: And no one spoke Hungarian from the flight crew.
Horrible check in process. The app was unusable and the website very confusing
The food could have been better, but that is secondary. I felt safe.
Check in was unnecessarily slow. Not enough agents and the 3 there were working in so- mo. Terrible.

The data, which was based on Chase cardmember spending, found that London , Rome, and Paris were still the most-booked cities among vacationers. However, rising prices due to inflation continue to hinder plans. Last year, Virtuoso revealed that average rates for luxury hotels across Europe had surpassed $1,700 a night—a 69 percent leap from the average $979 per night people were shelling out in 2019.
At the same time, severe weather also shifted travel patterns, and this year is no different. In 2023, the continent was hit by flooding, wildfires, droughts, and the warmest year on record. “Last summer, Europe was so very crowded, on top of being unbelievably hot,” added Belles. Travelers are now seeking out cooler locations, even if that means heading further north. Data from Virtuoso recorded a 33 percent uptick in Netherlands bookings, a 31 percent increase in trips to Austria, and a 26 percent spike in bookings to Germany .
“Don’t worry about Italy, it’s going to be fine,” Belles explained. “But other parts of Europe are starting to attract significant numbers.”
