Cancelled holiday

I had a holiday booked to Las Vegas in February but unfortunately we had 2 close family members deaths within 3 weeks and had to cancel 6 days before travel. Phoned them and they were amazing within 2 days the hotel had paid full amount back into my bank account the flights by British airways took about 8 weeks but I did get a full refund Well done travel republic x

Phone sales agent Karen W was excellent & an absolute delight. I went ahead with the booking via her. Feedback for TravelRepublic online team: I didn’t go ahead with reserving online (hence Karen rung me back) was because the booking terms displayed “Flexible Hotel changes up to Wed 02 Apr 2025” was way too vague! It seemed to suggest only changes allowed, but in fact it can be cancelled up til 2 April (minus the deposit). Much more clarity should be provided (on par with other online travel agents) to ensure people confident to proceed with bookings online.

Just so straight forward making a airport shuttle transfer for June we used them in April when we went to Spain and they were there to pick us up from the airport and there at the hotel when we left to take us back to the airport can’t fault them atall and the price is very very good.

Booking process seamless from start to finish. Very happy with the transfers to & from the airport as this is sometimes a bit of a pain. Also easy to add on extra luggage. Given that we decided to book a last minute holiday (within a day of leaving!) and we hadn’t heard of Travel Republic before, I’m really impressed and would use them again.

I was disapointed about the agents handling my request to change the number of travelling, even the term and condition of change of acomodation stated I could do so, only paying very little to do so and I was within the date stated on those terms was not enough for the lady I spoke on the phone. It feel that was not interest at all to be helped, she was very happy with me to say I agree with her rather to try and do something about my request. I book with Travel republic for cost

I book with Travel republic for cost, they tend to have more budget options. I have used many times to book separate hotels rather than a package which tend to be more with other competitors. Although this time upon booking there was a non- refundable booking fee added. I normally like to have a couple of options booked with a flexible cancellation policy, so I can choose the most suitable option. However I couldn’t do that this time without losing the booking fee if I cancelled.

Has anyone used TR for transfers? are they reliable and if its a shared coach has anyone experienced a long waiting time at the airport or pick ups? Does anyone know what company they use?

Normally transfers take some time , waiting on others arriving etc , and getting a free tour of all the hotes where you are staying

The bus that connects Maspalomas with Las Palmas costs € 6 ... (12 return).

If you can possibly justify/afford we'd recommend paying extra for a taxi transfer. Last time the coach return from the hotel to the airport took 2 hours from Maspalomas and seemed to visit every possible hotel - some more than once!!

Cancelled holiday

I had a holiday booked to Las Vegas in February but unfortunately we had 2 close family members deaths within 3 weeks and had to cancel 6 days before travel. Phoned them and they were amazing within 2 days the hotel had paid full amount back into my bank account the flights by British airways took about 8 weeks but I did get a full refund Well done travel republic x

Phone sales agent Karen W was excellent & an absolute delight. I went ahead with the booking via her. Feedback for TravelRepublic online team: I didn’t go ahead with reserving online (hence Karen rung me back) was because the booking terms displayed “Flexible Hotel changes up to Wed 02 Apr 2025” was way too vague! It seemed to suggest only changes allowed, but in fact it can be cancelled up til 2 April (minus the deposit). Much more clarity should be provided (on par with other online travel agents) to ensure people confident to proceed with bookings online.

Airport transfers

Just so straight forward making a airport shuttle transfer for June we used them in April when we went to Spain and they were there to pick us up from the airport and there at the hotel when we left to take us back to the airport can’t fault them atall and the price is very very good.

Seamless experience with Travel Republic

Booking process seamless from start to finish. Very happy with the transfers to & from the airport as this is sometimes a bit of a pain. Also easy to add on extra luggage. Given that we decided to book a last minute holiday (within a day of leaving!) and we hadn’t heard of Travel Republic before, I’m really impressed and would use them again.

Disapointed about the agents.

I was disapointed about the agents handling my request to change the number of travelling, even the term and condition of change of acomodation stated I could do so, only paying very little to do so and I was within the date stated on those terms was not enough for the lady I spoke on the phone. It feel that was not interest at all to be helped, she was very happy with me to say I agree with her rather to try and do something about my request. Please find your term and condition of change of acomodation : Below you’ll find the last date you are able to amend or cancel your hotel up until. For more details on how to amend your booking, please visit our Support Centre by clicking here From 12 Nov 2023 to 04 May 2024 the cancellation charge is £15.00 From 05 May 2024 to 10 May 2024 the cancellation charge is £339.00 For your attention I phoned on the 3 th of May and was denied any changes.

I book with Travel republic for cost

I book with Travel republic for cost, they tend to have more budget options. I have used many times to book separate hotels rather than a package which tend to be more with other competitors. Although this time upon booking there was a non- refundable booking fee added. I normally like to have a couple of options booked with a flexible cancellation policy, so I can choose the most suitable option. However I couldn’t do that this time without losing the booking fee if I cancelled.
