Hadimba Temple: Located amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, the Hadimba Temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatothkach. Surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of goddess Hidimba herself. Manu temple: The Manu Temple is said to be the only temple dedicated to the King Manu, who was later known as Sage Manu in India. The temple is a pagoda structure that offers a glimpse into history and spirituality through its fascinating architecture. Some may find it difficult to reach Manu Temple because there is only a narrow road that leads to the shrine; however, the journey is certainly pleasant.  Van Vihar: Adorned with sky touching deodar trees, Van Vihar National Park is located near the Mall Road making it easily accessible. The favourite attraction of this park is a man-made lake that is open for boating. Manali Club House: The Club House in Manali is an amusement and adventure retreat set up on the banks of the Manalsu Nalla, a branch of the breathtaking Beas River. It has indoor and outdoor activities like Billiards, Carom, Video Games, Table Tennis, Roller skating rink, River crossing, Go-karting, Zip lining and Ropeway. It also has a restaurant and bar along with some small stalls for local shopping. Manikaran: Manikaran is  a famous pilgrimage destination for both Sikhs and Hindus. It is known for Gurudwara Manikaran Sahib and the hot springs. There are three hot springs where one can take a bath, one being inside the Gurudwara itself and the other two being privatised by the guesthouses. Different sections for men and women are made at the bathing place. The water in these springs contains sulphur which is believed to cure many diseases. Solang Valley: 14 kilometres to the north west of the main town of Manali, Solang Valley is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It is famous for adventure activities like parachuting, paragliding, horse riding, driving mini-open jeeps, zorbing, etc. During winters, Solang valley is covered with snow, making skiing is a popular sport here. Rohtang Pass: Located at a distance of just 51 kilometres from Manali, Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres on Manali- Keylong road. Activities like sledging, mountain biking and skiing are popular here. Due to heavy snowfall in winters, the pass remains closed from November to May.  Atal Tunnel: Also referred to as the Rohtang Tunnel, Atal Tunnel is a horseshoe-shaped highway tunnel that connects Manali and the Lahaul-Spiti valley, reducing the time taken by around 4-5 hours. Named after the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the tunnel is the world’s longest one above 10,000 feet and is constructed in the Pir Panjal ranges, under the Rohtang Pass.  Jogini Waterfalls: Jogini Waterfall is located about 3 kilometres away from the bustling town of Manali and around 2 kilometres away from Vashisht Temple. What makes it a popular tourist spot is the trek from Vashisht Temple, through pine trees and orchards, to the mesmerising Jogini Waterfalls cascading from a height of 160 feet. It is considered as one of the most romantic attractions in Manali. Vashisht Baths: Located inside the very famous Vashisht Temple in Manali, Vashisht Baths is a hot water spring, believed to possess medicinal values. Also known as Vashisht Springs, it is visited by a lot of tourists, many of whom take a dip in the holy water to rid themselves of skin diseases and infections. Kullu: Kullu, a popular tourist destination in Himachal Pradesh is located on the banks of the Beas river. Kullu is generally coupled with its sister town Manali. It has few important temples like the Raghunath Temple and Jagannath Devi Temple. There are many treks that also originate from this area include the Bijli Mahadev Temple Trek, Parvati Valley Trek, etc. With panoramic views and majestic hills covered with Deodar and Pine trees, Kullu is a nature lover’s paradise. Rafting is a popular activity here that starts from Pirni, around 4 km away from Kullu.

Things to Do in Manali

Skiing: Manali is known for its excellent skiing conditions with skiing enthusiasts visiting from all over the country. The undulating slopes of Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass are perfect for skiing. They are popular for amateurs to learn their first move while ideal grounds for professional skiing in Manali.  Paragliding:  The hillside town of Manali is famous for paragliding. Starting with a basic training course, the operators are well organized, competent and trustworthy. Medium flights involve a 15-minute flight, while long/high flights last between 40 minutes and 1 hour. Individuals with a paragliding license can opt for solo flights while amateurs are allowed to take tandem flights – where a pilot accompanies the individual and navigates the glider. River Rafting: River Rafting in Kullu Manali is done along the River Beas and is considered ideal for expert rafters as well as beginners. The section of rafting starts from a small district called Pirdi and it flows through various locations like Bajaura, Sarabai, Bhuntar, Shamshi, Mohal, Raisol and Katrain. Rafting in Kullu Manali usually starts at 10:00 AM and takes about 1.5 hours. It is open throughout the year and people are advised to avoid the time when there is heavy rainfall which can lead to the rise in water level.  Visit Old Manali: Away from the hustle and bustle that the town of Manali holds, Old Manali is a backpacker’s paradise. Lying at a distance of 3 kilometers uphill from the central city, Old Manali is often frequented by tourists from all across the world. Here you can sit back and relax in the lap of nature, away from the hullabaloo of city life. Along with the myriad other things, this is one of the topmost things to do in Manali. Zorbing: Zorbing is a fun hill-sport in this region that takes advantage of the picturesque downward slopes of the Himalayas. Tour Itinerary:

Day-01): chandigarh/ delhi — manali.

Service: Volvo Only– This is a late trip and it takes around 12- 14 hours. You can board a Volvo from Delhi. The excursionists will have a comfortable late trip by the Volvo. On your way to Manali, you’re going to witness the fantastic beauty and the graphic views that are worth watching. The cool breath of Manali also amazes the excursionists and takes their stress down.

Day-02): Manali — Local- Sightseeing

Day-03): manali — solang valley — atal tunnel.

Morning, after breakfast for a full day of sightseeing in – Solang Valley, “Kothi Village”, “Nehru Kund”, “Him- Valley”, “Apple Garden” , and Suiting Place .

While visiting — “SOLANG VALLEY” – one should also try their hands-on adventure conditioning as it’s one of the stylish places for adventures near Manali. You can enjoy conditioning similar to – Zorbing, Snow Scooter, Horse Riding, Paragliding, Snow-Skiing, and a lot further. And also can enjoy a short Trek to “Anjani Mahadev” . Overnight stay at a hotel in Manali. The Tourist can go to the – “Rohtang Pass” and witness the snow-eschewed mountains. Go through the “ATAL TUNNEL” and also visit Gulaba.

Please Note- The National Green Tribunal allows only limited vehicles to Rohtang pass per day. Rohtang pass will be subject to the vacuity of permit on the spot with fresh cost on sharing base or individual base as per guest demand & Rohtang is unrestricted every Tuesday.

Day-04): Manali — Kullu — Manikaran– Kasol

On a coming day, the morning after breakfast,  sightseers can visit full-day sightseeing – “Manikaran Sahib Gurdwara” – ( Natural Hot Spring Water) and enjoy the hot water springs that have medical parcels & take the blessings of God/  probity. The Tourist can explore the nearby places like – KASOL, Kasol Market, Shiv Temple, Flea Market, and Parvati Valley, and they can indeed do touring.

Tourists also visit – Kullu Valley, Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu Market, Kullu, Rabbit Farm & RIVER RAFTING  – River Rafting is also veritably notorious around there and visit- the crafts and Roquelaures- Factory. latterly, and return to the hotel, and have your dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day-05): Manali — Delhi/ Chandigarh Departure –( Overnight Journey)

Day-06): reach back delhi around 8 am.

On your 6th day, the excursionists will reach” DELHI” by 8 am.

So we were looking for a good package for a vacation to Himachal. Of the various quotes offered, we chose the services offered by Travel Vichar. After a lot of discussion and negotiation, we chose three resorts and destinations - Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala. The vacation started off well. The cab driver, Kushal, was courteous, polite and helpful. As we had a senior citizen with us, he made sure that she was comfortable. Our stays at Shimla and Manali were great (in fact, the hotel chosen for Shimla - Grand Welcome - was a last minute choice as everything else was booked and we didn't get anytime to research it. But looking back, this hotel gave us the best experience. Ashapuri at Manali was a good hotel but the architecture was inconvenient for us. Our main issue happened at Dharamshala. The hotel that we booked - Quartz Himalayan Brothers - had very shady vibes - didn't seem like a place where a family would choose to stay. The menu was limited as there was no kitchen in the hotel. They were sourcing the food from elsewhere. Food taste was so-so and we aren't quite sure of the quality as later my son had an upset tummy. We had time and again emphasized to Travel Vichar that we have a senior citizen with us. Yet the hotel refused to give a proper hotel room - saying that "You didn't specify that you wanted mountain view". When we contacted Travel Triangle/Travel Vichar, they said that this is general level of hotels in Dharamshala. To this we say, that the travel agent should have warned us that compared to Shimla and Manali, hotels in Dharamshala is not that great. We should have been offered another alternative or we would have extended our stay in Shimla Manali or whatever. The travel agent didn't even bother to check in with us, despite knowing that we were not comfortable there. In fact, they - the manager - spoke rudely with us, adding insult to injury. What also happened was that Unfortunately, we had a situation late at night - my son had an upset tummy - for which we called the reception. But nobody received the phone, as everybody was asleep. We had to deal with the situation ourselves. Our advice to anyone planning a trip to Himachal is try to avoid Travel Vichar. But this bad experience of the hotel should not take away from the beauty of the place. Dharamshala is a serene place with great views - with a generous scoop of spirituality. My experience is very bad with travel traingle. 1. Agent Sahil offered me a quote of 70k when i selected hotels and explained him what I was looking for like river side view, 4 star etc he offered me few good hotels lile allure grand in manali and a hotel in Dalhousie. Thsi conversation happend and advance was paid in jan- Feb because he said this will confirm my booking. 2. Also paid my second installment no one informed tht my itenary has changed. 3 few days before my planned trip, Kewal contact me and informs tht he cannot book allure as it was not available, this is 3 months after paying advance. 4.He also advised me to change Dalhousie as it was long and trying journey. 5. Which means now I'm paying 85k for a downgraded hotel and less killometer. 6. I don't want to cancel anything last minute and I agreed on condition that hotel wud be top class. 7. A day before journey I was informed driver would contact me for pickup from Delhi. This didn't happen 8. On the day i tried contacting the agent multiple times and was finally able to make contact with driver. 9.after a long and trying journey reached the hotel assigned, hotel was not bad but the room assigned was average. This was a basic room not what was promised. 10. Regarding itenary driver was not informed about the places. According to divert he was updated the day about my trip. 11. Drive informed that he was not informed about my solang valley and rohtang( this never happened as acc to driver rohtang was closed) so driver took me through atal tunnel and solang and asked me to pay 4,500 as it was not covered according to him if co.pany pays him he will refund that. 12 reach jibhi again I was promised stars and moon and was gives stone. Hotel again good but room provided wa basic not river facing funny part is this time room was booked for 2 adults and child not included Missed out Mt Kewal when I was in Manali threated tht he don't care if I'm satisfied or not but if I don't pay the remaining amount he will cancel my jibi which means on my wife bday iw 7d be left on road. I told I will for sure pay once I look the room provided. He didnt accept. He said if I'm not paying he will cancel jibhi or ask me to pay for manali. Very u professional 13 last but not the least while checking out jibhi hotel informed that co pant has not yet paid them and i shud pay thn for room and kid. Made multiple calls and got tht taken care of in 2hrs Sontravel triangle traingle team I'm very diaaapointed. Hotel provided at shimla is barowalia resort, which is a pathetic hotel. initially was promised to give Pahuna resort, but later changed. Itenary provided in the list cannot be completed due to not so super planning, only 60% places can be covered.. Driver is a good person and he is a good gentle man. after so much of complaints got a better hotel in Manali Varsha Inn a very good hotel thanks to Mrs. Sharma, but the itenary in manali should be planned for 2 days, 1 day is not sufficient, this has to be told to the customer, if customer is having budget problems cover only important places. Because of this creating unnecessary rift between customer and driver, luckily not happened in my case. Neelam is very helpful in co-ordinating things, but as an agency lot to improve.

I opted EasyGo Vacation for HP trip of 12 Days, And I was right in choosing Aman joshi from easygo vacation. He has been very helpful right from the first day i interacted with him. He was willing to change the itinerary and make adjustments just the way I liked it to be. The selection of places and the hotels with good view under a budget is what Aman good at. He is also good at explaining his thoughts. Our trip included Cab and transfers along with Hotels. And Driver - Goutam Sarkar was really nice person. He used to suggest time to leave the hotel each day before went to hotel at night and be ready 10 mins before we come down. he used to call us 30 mins before to make sure we get ready too. Hotel staff in all the locations were more than willing to help and accommodate our request. A pleasant family experience.! The rating can nothing be short of Extremely likely, because of Aman and Goutam. They were really nice persons to have interacted with. But there is small scope of improvement which I have brought to notice of Aman and hope he improves upon them for future tourists!

Overall experience with travel on ease was very good. I would say trip was planned and executed as per our plan. Hotels - it was a mixed feedback. Some places we got an excellent service and in some places it was not up to the mark. Transport - we got an excellent service . Driver was very cooperative. Further to improve 1. Hotel accommodation in some places 2. We had to follow up daily with Travel agent for accommodation, it was not provided upfront and we had to call him to get the details of the accommodation in some places, which needs an improvement
