Rome, Italy

Seeing the Colosseum at sunrise is worth it alone, but we were blown away by the sights on this tour! Our guide Simone was amazing and shared little details alongside the history of all the places we stopped. I think we hit all the major places that were on our to-do list. The streets are mostly empty and it’s so beautiful to see the city before it wakes up. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who is able to run the distance at a comfortable pace! We went about 11 minutes per mile.

go running tour

Barcelona, Spain

This was such an unexpected and great service. Instead of running around on my own trying to add miles during my marathon training plan in an unfamiliar city, I was able to focus on the beautiful city. Mattia was super friendly, professional and accommodating. Besides being an amazing experience seeing the city in the morning at its most quiet, I also pushed myself to my fastest half marathon time at 2h 16 min, while holding a nice conversation with Mattia. I was definitely out of my comfort zone, as a lone runner. A million thanks to Mattia for making it so easy and enjoyable!

go running tour

Mexico City, Mexico

This was a fantastic tour. Citla is an excellent tour guide. She’s got incredible knowledge about the city and is very passionate about the city and its heritage. I’m delighted I did the tour and got to see some of Mexico city’s highlights. I would strongly recommend anyone wanting to explore the city to give this a go. Citla ran at a comfortable pace and we had many stops to chat, examine points of interest and take some photos. She’s a very patient guide and I think it will be an unforgettable tour for anyone interested.

go running tour

Paris, France

As another runner has said, this was the highlight of my trip to Paris. As a runner, there is no better way to explore a city. Wake up early and get your run in, while also seeing some beautiful gardens and buildings. You’ll hear all about the history of each place, and you can stop along the way for a photo. Aurélien even had me going for a fast final kick at the end! It was great!

Great Runs

Orlando & Disney/Universal Area

Includes orlando, winter park, disney/universal area.

go running tour

Orlando is a major leisure and business travel destination. Finding the best places to run in the Orlando and Disney/Universal area takes some planning. It’s possible to get stuck at a hotel near Disney or the Convention Center where it’s unpleasant or even unsafe (no sidewalks) for running. But there has been greater attention to making Orlando more run-able and walk-able. In the downtown area, the Orlando Urban Trail winds around several lakes, while just northeast of downtown, the Lake Baldwin loop and the Cady Way Trail are nice off-road options. There are some nice parks, lakes, and trails just north of downtown Orlando, such as the 14-mile Seminole Wekiva multi-use path. Winter Park , a suburb 7 miles northeast of Orlando has great running options: numerous trails, parks, pleasant residential streets, and a pretty downtown/commercial area. In southeast Orlando and near the Airport, there’s some decent running in the trendy Lake Nona area. If you’d like to have an in-person guided running experience in Orlando, we highly recommend our friends at Go! Running Tours .

In the resort area, Disney has been working to create running routes at its properties. The best bet in that area is Celebration , a planned community a 15-minute drive from Disney. If you want a great beach running option and have the time, drive the 70 miles to the Cape Canaveral/ Cocoa Beach area, where there’s 10+ miles of packed, flat beach running heaven. For a unique and rural run, drive 1/2 hour west of Orlando and enjoy the famed 10-mile Clermont Clay Loop . There’s nice trail running and water activities in Lake Louisa State Park , and in the Markham Woods near the northern section of the Seminole Wekiva Trail.

In thinking about Orlando geography, better to think about “areas”: Downtown; Disney/Universal/Convention Center/Celebration; some of the wonderful running north in Winter Park and surrounding areas; and some nice spots west of Orlando. We have a separate guide to the Space Coast area, from Canaveral/Titusville to Palm Bay.

The weather in Orlando can be both appealing and unappealing for runners. November through April is generally delightful for running — mild to warm, with the occasional hot snap or cool snap, and drier than summer. May through September is very hot and humid, with little relief, and there can be periods of heavy rain. Plan hydration carefully. And be wary of thunderstorms — an almost daily occurrence in the warmer months.

Orlando Weather

Orlando is a major leisure and business travel (conventions) destination, and there is no shortage of hotels. A quick hotel guide for access to decent running, by area:

  • Downtown : stay near Lake Eola, or near Gaston Edwards Park (Hilton Doubletree), for access to downtown & Orlando Urban Trail run. There are NOT that many hotels near Cady Trail or Baldwin Lake.
  • Disney . See the info on the Disney resorts with jogging trails. Best option is Disney Wilderness Lodge or hotels near there for access to extensive trails there. Another option is to stay near Celebration, toward the southern end of the Disney Resort.
  • Convention Center/Universal . Lots of hotels on International Drive, with good access to running on International Drive.

Downtown Fleet Feet . Pub runs Wednesdays, meet at Grafitti Junction Fit2Run. Florida Mall.  Group runs  Tuesdays 6:45 & lots of other events. Track Shack . Close to downtown/Gaston Edwards Park. Group Runs  Monday 6pm.

Disney/Universal/Convention Center Fit2Run  in Disney Springs is the only dedicated running store in the resort/conv. ctr. area.  Group Runs : Tuesdays, Thursdays 7pm in Celebration. Meet at  Imperial Food and Wine .

There are several athletic/shoe factory outlet stores in the mall just to the west of Universal Studios.

Orlando Suburbs . See map for some of the other run stores north of Orlando.

Orlando Runner’s Club  has group runs at 7:00am on a Sunday morning.

Running Tours Offer a Fun Way to Visit a New Place—Here’s Where to Try Them

The best way to travel is by breaking a sweat..

  • Copy Link copied

Running tours are great for those wanting to maximize sightseeing opportunities.

Photo by Marnie Kunz of Runstreet NYC

Six years ago, I suffered through one of the worst bouts of jet lag in my life. I had been traveling in Southeast Asia for about 10 days, but my mind and body were still stuck in Vampire mode. When I arrived in Siem Reap in Cambodia , my hotel concierge suggested I go for an early morning run to Angkor Wat. It would be a simple 5K, he told me—a scenic run that would recalibrate my body clock. I had a pair of sneakers and limited experience as a runner. He gave me a 5 a.m. appointment with the general manager, who would be my guide.

That morning, I ran from the city to the temples and arrived just in time to watch the sunrise over Angkor Wat. The experience put me on a runner’s high and made me a travel runner, aka that person who schedules a run in every city they visit. Over the years, I’ve run with guides in Tokyo, Washington, D.C., Torino, Italy, and more. I’ve even curated my own runs, reading about sites I’ve wanted to see in cities including Milan and Athens and dropping pins for my personalized 5K tour.

The advantage of running tours? “You explore the sites at your own pace, learn about the culture, see areas you might never have discovered on your own, and really focus on being present,” says Lena Andersson, founder of Go! Running Tours, a company operating in more than 65 cities and six continents. “You just need a pair of running shoes and an open mind.”

Running tours, long or short, immerse you in a location and its vibe. They cover more ground in less time than a walking tour, leaving more time to take in some lesser-known sites. Plus, you don’t have the headache of parking and locking up a two-wheeler like you would if you were sightseeing by bike. A running tour isn’t just about culture, curiosity, and combatting jet lag; it also brings a sense of accomplishment.

What to expect on a running tour

Running tours are usually a mix of running, site stops, and brisk walking. Most guides will share anecdotes as you run, but don’t feel like you need to keep up a conversation. Shorter running tours tend to average five kilometers (which takes about an hour), but you can find tours that go 10 kilometers or longer. Safety is always a priority, so guides use their expertise to design paths that avoid highly trafficked roads. You can schedule a running tour for any time of the day, but early morning hours are better for avoiding crowds.

There are two main types of tours: private and group. The advantage of a private running tour is personalization—you set the pace, intensity, and distance. Want to run Rome’s imperial monuments, baroque piazzas, and enjoy the Eternal City’s best cappuccino spots? You can do that.

“Private tours are ideal because you set the pace, the goals, and what you want to do,” says Raoul Spronken, founder of RunningTours.Net , an online marketplace for independent running tours around the world.

Group tours, on the other hand, are follow-the-leader runs. They can bring together more than 20 people for a set route, though some tours have multiple guides to create smaller groups when necessary. It’s a fun way to meet people, but it has no room for improvisation.

Running-tour offerings include the chance to learn about the medieval hot spots of the Netherlands’ Maastricht, street art in New York City, and local cuisine in Bangkok, Thailand.

Express Tour du Mont-Blanc

This is our most challenging self-guided trip – a true high-mountain trail run for the trail runner who can take care of himself in big mountain terrain over long days that include technical trails and lots of vert. If you’re an experienced runner who’s completed trail ultras and is comfortable with the weather and terrain of remote mountain environments, this could be the trip for you.

Courtney Dauwalter running through supporters in the UTMB®

The Tour du Mont-Blanc is famous world-wide for its challenge and beauty and has gained an iconic status thanks to the UTMB® series of races. The “TMB” covers 170km and 10,000m of ascent and descent as it wends its way from France, through Italy, then Switzerland, finally returning to its starting point in front of the St Michel church in Chamonix.

Run the Alps has privately offered this itinerary for a number of guests in past years. Now, we’re pleased to offer it to everyone. Although normally run in a week, experienced, exceptionally fit mountain runners can achieve the whole tour in four back-to-back days.

go running tour

This trip is for trail runners who have their eyes on one of the UTMB® races in the years ahead, or who simply want to test their limits on a classic mountain running route. The itinerary includes the UTMB® and CCC® courses, and much of the TDS®, OCC® and MCC® routes, too. This tour will enable you to gain familiarity with the whole area of the race route and would, of course, be ideal training for the UTMB®.

We’ll also include the Run the Alps Guide to Trail Racing in the Alps , for those of you prepping for an Alps race. As an official, licensed UTMB® Training Partner with UTMB®, Run the Alps has close links with the organization and can provide detailed information about the races, along with supporting materials.

Jason Gore looks back at unprecedented 2005 U.S. Open run at Pinehurst

Change Text Size

In 2005, Jason Gore made a Cinderella run at the U.S. Open at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 2. Gore was a regular on what is now known as the Korn Ferry Tour, and after three rounds, the Southern California native found himself in the final pairing with two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen. In this lookback, Gore chats about what it was like to find himself on the biggest stage in his career and what it takes to succeed at a Pinehurst U.S. Open.

Editor's note: After a final-round 84 at the 2005 U.S. Open, playing in the final group, Gore won three consecutive Korn Ferry Tour starts the following month to earn a Three-Victory Promotion to the PGA TOUR. To this date, no other player has won three straight Korn Ferry Tour starts.

On the second day of the 2005 U.S. Open

I remember playing the ninth hole on Friday very clearly. No. 9 is this testy par 3. It was kind of into the wind. And what do I do? I chunk 6-iron. Hit the top of the clubface and watch as the ball balloons into the wind. When it landed, I heard the thud in front of the green and then remember the ball rolling into the bunker short. This was a classic Pinehurst situation: ball on the downslope of the bunker to an elevated, domed green. I hit this bunker shot pretty close, turn to my caddie, Louis (Pullen), and just give this look like, I do not want that over again.

I get up to the green thinking all the hard work was done ... but then I see where my ball is for this knee-knocker, which I fortunately make to save par. And then, all of a sudden, I look up and believe I see (on-course announcer) Bill Kratzert standing right there. I’m like, Oh, crap. Something’s going on. I finished the day at 2 under par for the championship, and then I realize Bill is there to interview me because I’m near the top of the leader board. That’s when I started to know that this could be a heck of a weekend.

On the importance of making that par putt on No. 9 on Friday

At the U.S. Open, sometimes making a par putt is better than making a birdie. Especially at Pinehurst. There's never a comfortable shot at Pinehurst. I remember hitting a big drive on the par-4 eighth hole. I just nuked this thing 360 yards – you know, back when I was young and spry – which ran through the fan cross walk. I get up to my ball and have a lob wedge in my hand. With the flagstick back left, Louis turns to me and says, “Alright, you need to hit this shot 60 yards.”

I looked at Louis like he was crazy. We had something like 92 yards to the hole.

And then he says, “Oh, and hit it 40 feet right of the flagstick.”

I turn to him and am like, Dude, it’s a lob wedge. Why are we aiming so far right and trying to come up so short?

I mean, at that point in my career, we didn’t really prepare as much as we could have for golf courses. We, of course, played practice rounds and had makeshift yardage books. It wasn’t super detailed, but Louis always did an amazing job of giving me the opportunity to succeed. Louis knew long and left of the green on eight was a nightmare scenario. Me being stubborn, I wanted to hit it right at the flagstick. But I trusted Louis and hit the lob wedge 40 feet right of the flagstick. He turns to me and says, “Great shot.” I’m like, Seriously? That was a great shot with a lob wedge?

We get up to the green, I see where my ball is, turn to Louis with this little wry smile, and I’m like, "Oh, boy, thank goodness I am where I am, and thank goodness I have you." I mean, with the massive backdrop off the back of the green, I was just hoping to keep the putt on the surface. I was making aggressive swings to conservative targets ... and it was working. And that’s the thing about a U.S. Open at Pinehurst or any type of U.S. Open golf course for that matter: Making pars does not get old. There’s no letup with Course No. 2. That track will tempt you into doing something stupid and unnecessary, which is why I think it’s a piece of architectural genius by Donald Ross and all those who have worked on it since.

On making a birdie on 18 to close out Saturday – and the infamous fist pump

So I’ve slept on a share of the lead going into Saturday, and I’ve put together a decent round heading into my 54th hole of the championship. No. 18 is obviously this iconic hole, and I’m able to hit a pretty good drive to set myself up with a solid angle to the hole.

I ended up bouncing this pitching wedge or 9-iron to just about even with the flagstick to set myself up for what had to have been the easiest putt anyone could have. I mean, this thing was just a few feet, breaking an inch or two outside the right edge. The greens were so pure that all I had to do was not snipe hook it. I took the putter back, and literally the moment the clubface hit the ball, I knew the ball was rolling into the cup. Being a regular on what is now known as the Korn Ferry Tour, I had my fair share of lip outs and scar tissue ... but for whatever reason, everything just felt right on this putt. I watch this thing roll end-over-end-over-end until it tracked right into the middle of the hole.

I have such embarrassment thinking back on it, because I had no idea what to do to celebrate. I did this weird thing where I pointed at the ball as it dropped, and then I looked up at these massive grandstands with everybody standing up and screaming. I've got to tell ya ... it scared the living crap out of me. I just stood there like, Oh, my God. I gave a couple of fist pumps, turned around and walked over to Louis. I’ll never forget this: I stand right next to him and said, “Did I just point at the hole?” He just nods with this smirk on his face. I’m like, "Oh, gosh." I’m so embarrassed at this point that no matter what happens on Sunday, all I’m thinking is that’s probably how I’m going to be remembered.

But in all seriousness, that’s what major championship golf is about. I know it’s impossible, but I really feel like I heard that putt drop. I heard it rattle around the hole. I heard myself breathing. That was the moment that kept replaying in my head as I tried to sleep that night. It was scary. It was awesome. It was incredible. And I just remember thinking, I couldn’t wait for Sunday to be over, but I also couldn’t wait to do all of this again. It was every one of these emotions knowing that a U.S. Open Sunday was ahead of me with a chance to win the championship. I don’t know if I was frightened or excited, and since I had never been in a position like this, I was just going to have to learn on the fly.

On preparing for the final group of a Sunday at the U.S. Open and feeling like Tiger Woods for a day

So before every afternoon tee time when I was playing what is now the Korn Ferry Tour, Louis and I had a very specific game plan. We would get to the course before lunchtime, hit some wedges, go grab some lunch and then go out for a proper warm-up. My tee time was at around 3:30 p.m., and so I showed up at around 10 a.m. The broadcast teams there were like, "Oh, my gosh, he’s so nervous ... he’s arriving more than five hours early for his tee time." I was like, "No, this is what we do." So, anyway, I take three wedges and pick some targets to go aim at on the range. Honestly, it was this cathartic, grooving thing where we were working really hard on our shots from 120 yards and in. Hitting good wedge shots is obviously such a vital thing at Pinehurst. Since I was playing pretty well on the Korn Ferry Tour that year, I figured I would keep working on the same things.

Well, I finished my wedge session and I’m trying to stay as locked in to my process as possible ... but then the moment kind of took me. Suddenly, I’m walking back from the range, signing autographs, fist bumping with fans. At that point, I didn’t know what the heck to do, so I’m just trying to stay loose and interact with people outside the ropes. That was a little different than what I had experienced before, so when I finally went in for lunch, I made sure to try and stay calm. But I couldn’t help but let my mind wander to what had just happened with the autographs, what had happened earlier in the morning at Pine Needles (where I was staying) and seeing people point at me, whispering, “Hey, that’s him.” Like, I’ve never had that, and all of a sudden, it’s a crash course in Tiger Woods-ness.

Tiger had to deal with that every single day. Every day. To this day. I couldn’t deal with it for three hours. But, honestly, by the time I got to the first tee, I was weirdly fine. I had dealt with all the extracurricular stuff ... I was just so ready to put a peg in the ground and tee it up. I was exhausted thinking about the whole day. All I wanted to do was play.

On playing in the final group and how the day unfolded

I was nervous going to the first tee, no doubt, but I kept thinking about one thing that eased my mind. I worked with a psychotherapist who once told me something about the famous actor and dancer, Fred Astaire. My psychotherapist said that Astaire would put chalk on the ground to work on his dance moves. For Astaire, once he went out to perform, he would just dance and forget about the chalk. For me, I had worked on my X’s and O’s – going to the range for my wedges, for example – but once the music started, I just danced. And I was like, "Now’s my time to dance."

All that being said, I couldn’t put the tee in the ground fast enough when I arrived at the first tee. I was playing with two-time U.S. Open champion Retief Goosen. And, when I earned a spot on the 1997 Walker Cup team, and they announced my name, “Jason Gore, representing the United States of America,” I was shaking so badly that I couldn’t even put the ball on the tee. So this time, I went and teed the ball up four minutes early. I’m like, "Let me get this out of the way." I didn’t even know if I had the honor to tee off first. I remember looking back at Retief and the starter and just hoping I was going first. But the tee was in the ground and the ball was resting there, so you would’ve needed to do a lot to get me to re-tee.

By the time my name was announced, man ... the crowd was just insane. To this day – to this very moment – it gives me goosebumps. Somehow, someway I walked up and piped my drive. It was probably the most perfect golf swing I have ever made – just this high draw all the way down there on No. 1. Of course, I felt terrible because I wanted everyone to calm down for Retief. Which, Pinehurst fans being who they are, were quickly courteous to the two-time U.S. Open champ.

It’s funny, actually: I was super fortunate to play a practice round with Freddie Couples earlier that week, and I noticed that everyone – everyone – was yelling Freddie’s name as he was walking down the fairway. At one point I turned to him and said, “Hey, does that ever get tiring?” He turned to me and smiled: “Nope.”

As I was walking off the first tee, I was thinking about that, because everyone was chanting my name. I was like, "Dang it, Freddie, you were right." It was just a magical moment for me in my career – one that I wish I had experienced more often, but I’m so grateful to have had that opportunity.

From there on, things went in the wrong direction for me. This might be surprising, but when I went through the first few holes, I was actually relatively calm – probably from all the exhaustion leading up to my tee time. It wasn’t until I got into my round and woke up that I started to get nervous and change my game plan. Like I said earlier, we wanted to make aggressive swings toward conservative targets. My mindset went from that to, "Hey, let’s go win the U.S. Open." And you just can’t do that. I was making aggressive swings to aggressive targets, and that’s not a recipe for success at Pinehurst.

On the week in general

The final-round 84 was unfortunate, but I learned so much that week. My strongest memories are how great the fans were and how both the USGA and Golf Channel took care of me and my family. What some people might not remember is that on our drive to Pinehurst that week, our car was broken into in the middle of the night. The thieves stole clothes, the car stereo and a laptop. Fortunately, I still had some outfits, but that Southern hospitality is a real thing, and everyone pitched in to help. I’ll be forever grateful to the people of the Village of Pinehurst who were so gracious to some schlep that came out of nowhere and competed in the U.S. Open. Had I won that week, it of course would have been amazing. But what I learned no doubt helped me win three times that year on the Korn Ferry Tour and one time on the PGA TOUR (84 Lumber Classic).

It’s going to be a special thing to see crowds back at Pinehurst this year. And who knows, maybe there will be another Cinderella run from someone ... and hopefully they’ll be able to do what I couldn’t: win.

Fashion fans are running to Primark, eager to get their hands on new cowboy boots

And with Glastonbury just weeks away, and the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in full swing, if you’re looking for a pair to dance the night away in, you’ll need to check this out.

And fear not, you won’t need to break the bank on a pair, as luckily Primark has a range of colours available - and they’re less than £25 a pair.

A Primark store in East Kilbride, Glasgow , took to social media to show off their take on the cowboy trend, leaving many open-mouthed.

And not only are there stylish boots, but there’s also hats and trendy t-shirts too.

The short clip was shared with the caption ‘Taylor Swift might be gone, but country is here to stay’, as the chain penned: “Primark goes country.”

In the short clip, social media users were given a close-up look at the new-in, affordable items.

Not only is there a trendy pair of beige boots, but there’s also a black pair too, both of which are just £24 each.

A Primark employee proudly strutted through the changing rooms , showing off the boots, which will look perfect paired with a dress or pair of denim shorts for a warm day this summer.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ primark_eastkilbride , has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it was shared just 18 hours ago, but has quickly amassed 162,800 views.

Social media users were particularly impressed with the cowboy boots and many took to the comments to express this.

Fashion fans tagged their friends and loved ones to alert them to the shoes - and many were desperate for a shopping trip.

One person said: “I need the black boots.”

Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They "sell a lot of items" - Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They "do very little advertising"
  • While their clothes offer the "latest trends", they "don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels".
  • And lastly, they try to be "as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores". This includes things like asking "suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf".

For more information about how Primark keeps their costs so low, and are able to deliver such amazing bargains, visit the Primark website.

Another tagged a friend and added: “Let’s go.”

A third mentioned a Primark fan and commented: “We need to go to Primark.”

Not only this, but another fan advised a loved one: “Run to Primark.”

At the same time, a fashionista mentioned a Taylor Swift fan and penned: “You could use these for Taylor Swift.”

Bad Bunny Ends ‘Most Wanted’ Tour With a Historic Three-Night Run in Puerto Rico

By Juan J. Arroyo

Juan J. Arroyo

It’s a known fact that Bad Bunny saves his best shows for his homeland of Puerto Rico. The shows are longer, the guests are cooler, his monologues are more colorful, and his enthusiasm is through the roof.

This was the case when Bad Bunny made a three-day stop at San Juan’s José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum for his Most Wanted Tour this weekend, promoting his latest album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana . The local movie theater chain Caribbean Cinemas announced they would livestream the Friday and Saturday shows on their biggest screens around the island. In an effort to stop people from outside of the archipelago from buying up tickets, purchases for the Sunday show required a Puerto Rican IP address — another sign of how Bad Bunny wanted to keep things special back home.

One of the things that has endeared Bad Bunny to such a wide swath of young people here is how vocal he’s been about the issues that affect the island. He’s the rare artist who doesn’t shy away from giving his opinion about larger political, social, and economic issues. In 2019, he abruptly paused a tour to fly back and participate in the historic protests that forced the resignation of a controversial governor. Since then, he’s used his platform to rail against the Puerto Rican government. Ever civic-minded, he even offered 2-for-1 tickets for his Most Wanted show for those who had their voter ID up-to-date .

At a certain point in the show, what seemed like a brief lull between songs ended up being a purposeful minute of reflection for Benito. From the floating bridge he was perched on, he took in the sights and sounds of his fans roaring and clapping for him. He didn’t rush himself — walking slowly from side to side, stopping often to simply hunch over and look up and down, smirking like a man who can’t believe his luck and blessings. No music played, and he said no words, but the moment spoke volumes. The concert wrapped up with a celebration that was big and loud in its Puerto Ricaness. Reaching back to his previous album Un Verano Sin Ti he sang “El Apagón” as cabezudos joined him on the stage. He famously introduced general audiences to cabezudos — dancers wearing oversized puppet heads, usually made to look like specific public or historical figures — during his performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Here, they came clad in the same clothes and mask from his Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana ensemble.

As the cabezudos danced onstage, confetti rained down from the rafters, and a frenzied light show hyped up the attendees. Then, Bad Bunny bid everyone farewell. His final statement wasn’t  a speech, but the now iconic chorus blasting from the speakers: “Puerto Rico está bien cabrón.”  It’s where Benito shines brightest.

ABOUT LUCKI LUCKI separated himself from the pack years ago. He built a devoted fan following by creating songs packed with vulnerability and experience. His lyrics proved to be far more personal than preachy. In 2022, the same year the 26-year-old rapper released his debut album, FLAWLESS LIKE ME , the Chicago native achieved over 25,000 sales first week and reached #12 on the charts.

LUCKI showed growth, maturity, and perspective—without losing the soul that made him relatable. Video / singles “Super Urus” and “New Drank” are recent massive reminders, with over 50 million streams each, that a versatile artist who had a powerful introduction during the mid-2010s is still on the ascent.

LC Camel, Jr. hails from Chicago’s storied West Side. Now a father, LUCKI has credited his parents for their dedication. In 2013, roughly a year into recording, the budding artist self-released Alternative Trap inspired by an array of sounds. The free mixtape arrived amid a Chicago Rap Renaissance that thoughtful and innovative young people helmed. At just 17, the rapper, then known as Lucki Eck$, captured the angst and confusion of his peer group with a streak for the wild side. The Chicago Reader credited him as the city’s “best conscious rapper” not long after. He became a sought-out collaborator across styles, working with FKA Twigs, Danny Brown, Future, Playboi Carti, and Earl Sweatshirt. The project caught on, earning critical acclaim and putting LUCKI on the international map.

In the years that followed, LUCKI abbreviated his moniker to match his given name. He also launched the Freewave EP series, a display of quantity without compromising quality. Despite the expanding catalog, in mid-2016, 20-year-old LUCKI stepped out of the spotlight for nearly a year to be a proper father and self-care. In lyrics and interviews, the artist has been transparent about bouts with depression, prescription drug addiction, and a social disconnect.

By 2017, LUCKI returned to form, releasing a slew of projects. “Sunset” reached a new peak, streaming over 40 million times to date, with an enchanting beat and confessional lyrics. In 2019, Lucki’s Days B4 III built on that momentum, powered by anthems like “4 The Betta” and “Randomly.” Raps about relationships, hopelessness, and isolation resonated alongside messages from an independent artist who was clearly thriving on his own terms.

In 2022, LUCKI upped the ante. Future and EMPIRE label-mate Babyface Ray guest on the FLAWLESS LIKE ME album that finds the 26-year-old more comfortable with himself but still admittedly growing. A leading voice in Rap, LUCKI commands the 24-track album, which he considers his debut. To support the album, which nearly entered the Top 10, LUCKI performed sold-out concerts in London and Canada, as well as a sold out 25 city tour in the beginning of 2023. As he prepares to celebrate a decade of originality, authenticity, and consistent growth, LUCKI has cemented an incredible legacy, even if he is still writing it in real-time.
