It's always a wonderful day with Frank and Christine in the Idaho wine country! Their tour van is beautiful, so clean and spotless with plenty of room for you and your group. Plenty of chilled waters and any snack you could think of are well stocked too! You can be a Idaho winery regular or brand new, Frank and Christine will give you all kinds of great insight and can provide excellent suggestions for wineries to experience. They will take care of the reservations, tastings, and schedule. And they'll be your photographers too! I highly recommend for any occasion or just to have a wonderful weekend experience right here in the Treasure Valley. Thanks for another great tour experience!

We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the Idaho wine region with Caio Bella. We were celebrating a family member's 50th birthday and Frank made our day very memorable. He arranged a great set of three wineries (Kindred, Sawtooth and Koenig). The comfortable van rides, each wine tasting stop and the friendly interactions could not have been better. We arrived at Kindred just before noon and were first in line to order delicious pizzas from their wood fired oven. All three wineries offered a tasty array of different varietals for us to try. Then as a late afternoon bonus, we stopped at the Koenig distillery where a range of spirits are made. We are veteran wine lovers who have lived in Oregon and California. We were impressed to learn that Idaho now has a wonderful and growing wine making industry. It is well worth a visit and Ciao Bella is the way to make that visit in comfort and style with knowledgeable and friendly guidance every step of the way.

~Mr D & daughter, Italy Graduation Trip

We wanted to tell you what an absolutely FABULOUS time we had in Italy. It was the best vacation we have ever had, we loved every minute of it! We have travelled quite a bit, but never have we had such organization, quality, and downright fun that we had on this trip. Thank you soooo much for your help in organizing it. I am certain that we will be in touch in the future!

Once again you did an outstanding job in providing incredible tours as well as guides and drivers. They were very accommodating and worked well with such a diverse group. We were all extremely satisfied with the service and sights we saw. I will definitely recommend you to anyone I know traveling to Europe as well as contact you again if we decide to return in the future.

~Mr DC and Family, Europe

Thank you for assisting us in planning a truly memorable vacation. Satisfying patrons ranging in age from ten years to "advanced" adulthood is no mean feat, and I can unreservedly say that all of us wished that we could have spent more time in this truly beautiful corner of the world.

~ Mr. Douglas

Thank you again for all your help Nichole.  You seemed to think of everything which made the trip SO relaxing. You were so wonderful to work with us through our craziness with the move and home purchase!  I don't think too many people/travel companies would have been so accommodating and we really are grateful for your help. We will certainly use your services again the next time we go to Europe and I will recommend you to our friends who plan to travel there as well!

~Jenny & Jason, Anniversary Trip Paris & London

I can not thank you enough for your help.  It was the absolutely perfect trip and your suggestions for things, places, and people were so good it’s scary.  They were intelligent, insightful and passionate folks that borough a richness and depth to our experience that it hard to put into words or pictures.  I will treasure these memories forever.

~Tom G & Family, Switzerland & Italy

I would like to pass along the unanimous sentiments of my group regarding last week's tours of the Loire Valley chateaus and Versailles. Both guides chosen were excellent. Their knowledge, communication skills, and organizational/time management abilities created memorable experiences for all of us. It was a pleasure doing business with Ciao Bella, and we would certainly recommend your firm to anyone seeking to arrange local tours in Europe.

~Mr & Mrs V

Thanks for your note... we had an absolutely marvelous vacation! The Ciao Chase was a wonderful bonding experience. I would highly recommend it as a great family activity! Our cooking class in Provence with Gina was a big success as well. We will most definitely keep you in mind for our future travel as well as recommendations to friends!

Many thanks, Nichole!

~ Marnie and Marc

We could not be more pleased with everything Nichole did for us. She helped us plan, over several months, a month long stay in France, Brugge and Amsterdam. She made sure that she understood our tastes and pocketbook before she made the first reservation. She provided us with itinerary, accomidations, restaurants, guides, and many tips for travel. We were travelling with another couple who rented a house on their own in France that turned into a disaster. We contacted Nichole on a Saturday night and by Sunday we were drinking wine, all smiles, in our new lovely location. She goes beyond anyone's expectations. She is presently helping our neice with a holiday in Rome. Not only "would" we use her again... we will use her again.

~ Georgia & Wyatt

Hello Nichole,

Everything was wonderful. We loved our tours with Arnaud and Christophe, Everything was really memorable. The restaurant suggestions were also fantastic. I will definitely recommend your services if anyone I know is traveling to Paris.

We truly enjoyed our tour with Susy in Switzerland. We are definitely glad that we did that tour with her to get a feel for Lucerne and Mount Rigi. She is a wonderful, down-to-earth person that was a joy to spend the day with.

The activities and suggestions you made were appropriate for us and we will have great, long-lasting memories from them. We had a wonderful time in Paris and in Switzerland and we appreciate the work that you did for us to make our trip so special. Thanks again!

~ Gretchen and Brian

Everything was perfect! Our guides were great, especially in Rome and Switzerland.  We had a great time!!  Everywhere we went we told people about you and Ciao Bella, and we will definitely ask for your help anytime we plan to go abroad!!  We would love to post something on your testimonial page, and will pick our best shot and forward it to you.  Thank you again for doing such a wonderful job and helping us have the vacation of a lifetime!!

~ Gail & Jim

Buongiorno Nichole,

I want to take a minute and thank you for arranging my Italy adventure with my sister and two of her friends.  We were all very pleased with all of your choices in accommodations and guides.  You did a great job!  If there is a web site you would like us to post a positive review on from us for Ciao Bella tours, please let me know, we would be happy to accommodate.  I will definitely recommend you to my friends that want to travel to Italy in the future.  Hopefully we can meet you some day!

Dear Ciao Bella Tours,

Thanks for the WONDERFUL tours. ALL the tours worked out really well and are clearly planned out very thoughtfully. The drivers were courteous, conscientious, knowledgeable and good drivers. You even planned to have the weather cooperate, I'm sure! We will recommend you highly. Bill and I enjoyed every moment, including (and especially) your private guide Christophe! He made the day so special for my husband by taking us to St Lo on our Normandy Excursion. Perhaps next year will be our Italy trip? And we would certainly be in touch, should that come about. Thanks again and again!

~ Janet & Bill

How can we thank you? This has been a fantastic trip Again, thank you SO very much!!

Dear Ciao Bella,

We had a fabulous time! Christophe did a great job! Moulin Rouge was also great, the seats were up close to the stage so we could see everything. You were right, the dinner cruise was so much fun, the food was great. Thank you for all of your help, especially with the short notice. You can bet the next time we travel abroad we will use you again!

~ T.Simmons

My family truly loved the whole thing and your suggestions. Thank you so much for your good work and your responsiveness...and for the wonderful goodies in Venice and the tour of Pompeii. It was perfectly delightful, all of it!!! Great job!!! We will most certainly keep Ciao Bella in mind for any future European travel plans. We had a fantastic time!!! We'll have lasting happy memories of Italy...(and even some transient memories of the history of politics and art that we learned. We will indeed advise our friends about Ciao Bella. You are terrific and it was fabulous! I can't wait for the next one!!

~ J. Lind, California

Hello Nichole!

Just wanted to touch base and let you know what a wonderful time we had, thanks to you!! Everything went off without a problem. We loved the hotel in Salzburg for its Austrian charm, and the fact that it is removed from all tourist type places. Your guide for the walking tour of Salzburg & Budapest was extremely informed and very professional. I highly recommend them for any of your other clients. Thanks so much and we look forward to working with you again!!

Dear Nichole, You did an outstanding job putting together our tours. I'd use you again and give you the highest recommendation. Our tour guides were absolutely outstanding -- I'll send photos soon. It was a terrific trip and you played an important part in making it a terrific trip and your help is further reflection on how much you care about what you do.

Bonjour Nichole, Our tour to Normandy was excellent. Christophe was very knowledgeable and personable. We couldn't have had a better guide. We all enjoyed our tour and the American cemetery was so moving. Thank you for all your help in making the Normandy beaches the experience of a lifetime. Merci beaucoup!

Nichole, Everything you set up for us was wonderful. Arnaud was exceptional; He toured us through the countryside, as my mother was unable to walk the gardens at Versailles. The dinner cruise was all you said and more. The food was terrific and service phenomenal. Christophe was also an excellent guide at the Louvre. I thank you for all of your assistance, you really helped make our trip more memorable (hard to believe as Paris in itself is unforgettable!) Thank you again,

~ Michelle S G

Dear Ciao Bella, I just wanted to let you know that we LOVED Christophe and our Normandy tour. He did a great job. He was informative without being boring, and very patient with our limited American understanding of European history. Everything went great - even the weather was awesome! We loved the meal sitting outside at the café at Omaha Beach. We were especially moved by the memorial cemetery and ending up the tour at Pont Du Hoc. The roomy bus/van worked out great as well. I know that it wasn't what was originally planned for us, but we definitely appreciated the upgrade when the original van became unavailable. All in all our day in Normandy was definitely one of the high points of our entire trip. Thanks so much for arranging it for us. We have already recommended you to many of our friends and relatives, and I'm hopeful some of them will call you next time they are in Europe. Thanks again for all your help and the excellent service.

~ Scott Orr

Thank you so much for a wonderful day tour in Paris. Your communications prior to my trip were excellent and speedy. Our day together was well planed out, informative and beyond interesting. You are a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and very kind. You made Paris even more special then I ever expected. Thank you for a wonderful memorable day.

~ Janine S., NYC

We were very, very pleased with the New Year's Dinner Cruise. The directions and arrangements from Ciao Bella were great, the event was marvelous, and we had a wonderful time...perhaps the best time of our stay. I would highly recommend this company to people wanting a ride on the Seine and when we return to Paris we will use them again. The entire event was well planned and executed, the music was delightful, (we danced most of the evening) the waiters were wonderful, and the food was excellent. We loved it. Wonderful! It was nice working with you and will we contact you on our next trip, which, we hope, will be in May 2008!

~ C. Phillips

We just returned for our Switzerland and Italy trip...it was WONDERFUL! All your tours, guides, drivers were perfect for us. Everyone arrived on time to pick our group up, they were friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty. The hotels were incredible as well, we have some memorable moments in each city we visited. Thank you again so much and we look forward to another trip soon!

~ Diane & James, California

Your recommendations were "PERFECT". The people at the hotel you picked out were always helpful, and very nice. The room was great, and the location was also perfect. The pastry shop around the corner and the restaurants in that same area were great for food and wine and a short walk back to the room. We walked all over and as far as the Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, D'Orsay, etc. We did very good for 4 days in Paris! Our time in Italy was also great along with our tour Monaco, nice, etc. Thanks so much for all your help.

~ JoAnn & Ken, California

First I want to tell you guys that the trip was awesome. Both of you were great. We loved the hotel in Paris! One of my favorite things was the Seine River Cruise. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent everything. What an amazing memory. I will recommend your services to all our friends and family.

~ Honeymooners, Mr. & Mrs Pack, California

Ciao Bella Tours was recommended by a friend and we couldn't have been happier. We took a gorgeous bike tour outside of Florence where we saw breathtaking views of the countryside, had lunch with locals and then went to a beautiful winery. It was our favorite part of the trip. We still talk about it! The Ciao Bella girls were always so patient and helpful.

~ K. Quick, California

You expressed the wish that our trip was "everything we hoped it would be." We had very high hopes, in fact, based on our on-going communications with you (your graciousness, flexibility, knowledge and expertise), and we are pleased to say that although our hopes were so high, the trip exceeded our expectations, thanks to you.

~ Mr & Mrs T, Prague & Austria Trip

We are having a wonderful time in Austria! Salzburg was so very special, thank you so much! We do not want to go home!”

~ Mr & Mrs J, Anniversary trip through Austria

We are here with our family and we are enchanted. You have a line of people at home itching to work with you! Just wanted to let you know we made it are having the time of our lives!

~ Family C, Europe

Hi Nichole, we had a terrific time in Scotland and Ireland. All the hotels were excellent the drivers were all great, and we felt we saw all that we wanted to... we thank you for a job well done.

~ Family S, Scotland and Ireland

We had a great time in England. We liked all the accommodations you arranged for us. In particular, the locations were perfect, allowing us to walk to nearly everything we wanted to see and do. Thanks again for all you did to help us plan our trip!

Italian style.

All of our wines are made with italain style in mind. Meaning dry, crisp and refreshing, with particular attention and emphases on bringing out the highest quality fruit notes and aromas the wine has to offer

La Famiglia

Without La Famiglia there is no Ciao Bella. We are a family run boutique style winery. From Picking every cluster to pruning every vine by hand, our family works together tirelessly to bring a little piece of Italy to the Okanagan.

The picnic area

Enjoying Italian wine is best done with friends and family. Warm summer days enjoying a chilled a glass of vino in the picnic area is what it's all about. And not to mention a great date idea.

Tomatoes with basil fresh from our gardens drizzled with a delicious aged balsamic glaze from Modena Italy, Premium Italian meats and cheeses such as Friolano and Salami, artichoke hearts, crackers and Italian green olives can be enjoyed in the picnic area. Ciao Bella Winery is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery in West Kelowna, BC. We are proudly producing award winning Okanagan wines with Italian flair. Our patriarch, Luigi and matriarch, Melina hail from sunny southern Italy in the province of Napoli. Luigi grew up on the family farm near Napoli while Melina grew up in Somma Vesusviana, renowned since ancient times for the fertile volcanic soils of Mount Vesuvius producing the most beautiful grapes and wines. This is where our Ciao Bella Winery family story started, along with our love of family and wine shared at family gatherings and eventually bringing this passion to the beautiful Okanagan Valley.

For over 20 years Roberto Fiume has been growing the finest grapes and this is reflected in the awards won by our boutique winery. Most recently our 2016 Pinot Nero won Gold at two National competitions, the 2018 Wine Align and also 2018 The All Canadian Wine Championships and our 2016 Dolce Vino Dessert wine won Gold at the 2018 BC Best of Varietals.  Some of our past awards include a silver medal for our 2014 Pinot Rosé and Best Pinot Noir in BC at the Best of Varietal Awards for our 2014 Pinot Nero! Ask us who the inspiration for the labels was when you come in to visit us in the Wine Shop located at 3252 Glencoe Rd, West Kelowna.

We have a licensed picnic area so you can enjoy our wine right here and if your hungry we also have Spuntini (Charcuterie the Italian Way! ) and being a family run operation we don’t leave anyone out so if your the designated driver or kids are with parents we have non-alcoholic options (ie. Italian Sodas & Cappuccino’s)

CUSTOM TRAVEL PLANNING

Every single trip I coordinate is unique and tailored specifically to the individual client. My mission is to offer an extremely high level of personalized service, so that means no prepackaged  tours or large groups.  An important part of what I do is go to these  destinations in person,  research the area over many years  to find the perfect accommodations, local guides,  activities , restaurants and discover some hidden gems along the way. This is what makes your trip with Ciao Bella Tours so special. I'm able to create a truly unique itinerary that promises a personal experience you won't find anywhere else. The itineraries I put together are all tailor-made to fit your travel style and budget and I will make sure everything is as seamless as possible so all you have to do is show up and enjoy yourself!

So how does custom travel planning work exactly?

I start with an initial phone or email consultation free of charge to find out more about yourself and the trip you have in mind.  Together, we will look at who is traveling, the desired pace of the trip, your budget, as well as your interests and “must-see” places or experiences you would like included. I then follow up by email with an outline of the itinerary I have in mind for you. If at this point you decide you’d like to work together, I will ask for a deposit to create an estimate that shows a day-by-day program, transport options & travel times, recommended hotels, guided tours and activities with an overall trip cost.  We will fine tune the itinerary until it’s just right, making as many changes as needed. I’ll then make all arrangements and bookings on your behalf and invoice you for 25% of the total trip cost with the remaining balance due one month prior to your departure. I pay all suppliers directly so you don’t have to worry about making overseas payments.

About 3-4 weeks before your departure, I’ll send you a very detailed itinerary with everything you need for your trip including  free time sightseeing suggestions, dining recommendations including reservations and local insider tips. I will be available 24/7 while you are traveling in case you need assistance.

Custom Travel Planning Fees

As each itinerary is customized, so are my trip planning fees, which depend on how complex the trip is, how many travelers, how many destinations, etc. Please contact me for more details.
