Jessica Mauboy fans have a lot to look forward to as the singer has now confirmed the dates for The Boss Lady Tour in 2022.

Posting the full leg of her tour on her Instagram page on Thursday,  The Voice Australia   coach also shared a a preview of what's to come. 

'Bringing my band, bringing the classics, bringing my bustily vibes!' she said.

This comes after Jessica first announced news of her upcoming Australian tour last week.

She went on to say that she cannot wait to get onstage with her band once 'it is safe' to do so' amid the pandemic.

'2022 could not come soon enough!! Australia, I’m so excited to come dance with you all when it’s safe to do so,' she added. 

Jess will begin her leg of the tour in Canberra on March 22, before making her way to Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and her hometown of Perth. 

She'll also treat fans in Adelaide and Melbourne, before finishing off the tour on The Gold Coast.

If 2021 has been a rebirth year for Multi-ARIA award winning singer-songwriter, actress, and Voice Coach Jessica Mauboy, 2022 will be her watershed one.

Making new music and continuing her role as a leader and disruptor, Jessica Mauboy returns to the stage with ‘The Boss Lady’ tour. This exciting new tour's track listing will read as an anthology of Jessica’s global smash hits since her first solo album in 2008, elevating them to a new era of empowerment. 

As ‘The Boss Lady’ tour takes flight in 2022, all her plans in the lead up demonstrate Jessica Mauboy is exemplifying her new era of liberty, with more news around her tour imminent.

Jessica Mauboy announces her national 'The Boss Lady Tour' set for 2022

Australia's 2018 Eurovision Song Contest entrant Jessica Mauboy has announced a national tour set for March and April 2022. 'The Boss Lady Tour' includes eight dates on the mainland, where she will be supported by Caiti Baker. This will be Jessica's first tour since her 2017 'All the Hits Live – The Australian Tour'.

Jessica has been keeping herself busy as a coach on Channel 7's 'The Voice Australia'.

She has also been planning a wedding, and has been making the best of the Sydney lockdown by working on new material in her home studio.

In a recent interview, Jessica has said an album is imminent:

"I want to structure this record in a way that's not just portraying the light stuff, but the heaviness that brings life.

It's important to be able to acknowledge a past experience, to have an understanding or to see it in a way that allows you to move forward."

Jessica Mauboy has grown up right in front of Australia's eyes and has come a long way since she was that shy teenager who auditioned for 'Australian Idol' back in 2006.

Over her career she has released four albums, acted in two films, toured, supported Beyoncé on a tour, represented Australia at Eurovision in 2018 and taken on charity work, particularly supporting young Indigenous kids' education.

At Eurovision she performed 'We Got Love' and made it to the Grand Final in Lisbon.

Jessica Mauboy Announces ‘The Boss Lady’ 2022 Australian Tour

Jessica Mauboy has announced she’ll hit the road with her full band in tow next year, announcing a run of dates dubbed The Boss Lady tour kicking off in late March.

The multi-ARIA Award winning singer and songwriter will perform headline dates in Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, with support from Caiti Baker . According to a press release, Mauboy’s “anthology”-style sets will see her performing cuts from across her back catalogue, from 2008 solo debut Been Waiting up to new music that’s set to arrive later this year.

“I am so excited to announce The Boss Lady Tour mob! I can’t wait to see you all, with my band doing what we love the most. We’ll be playing all the fan favourites and I can’t wait to share new music on the tour too,” Mauboy commented in an accompanying statement.

“We’ve planned for the tour to be in the new year, so for the time being we continue to be safe. Everyone’s health is the number one priority as we navigate through these challenging times. Stay safe and love you all mob.”

See dates and details below. Tickets go on sale next Thursday, 2nd September from midday, with a Telstra Plus pre-sale kicking off on Monday, 30th August.
