US Visa Scheduling New Portal India: Login, Customer Care Info
The US Department of State Bureau of Consular Affairs, as part of their regular upgrades to their systems, changed the US Visa Appointment Booking website in India in July 2023. As with any system, there are many issues with the new system. If you are applying for a US Visa in India , you must use the new website and contact relevant customer service details.

US Visa Appointment Booking Website URL for India: The US Visa Scheduling New Portal for India is https://www.usvisascheduling.com/en-US/
Redirection to atlasauth.b2clogin.com – Not Spam : As soon as you navigate to USVisaScheduling.com, you will be redirected to something that looks like “https://atlasauth.b2clogin.com/xxxxx…”. The redirection of the website to https://atlasauth.b2clogin.com/ is not spam. It is a new authentication system used by the US Department of State. The b2clogin.com is owned by Microsoft and nothing to worry.
Create Account, Login : If you do not have an account at USVisaScheduling.com, you will need to create a new account and use the username and password to log in to the system. Common Issues Contacting Customer Care
- Long Wait times : Some users have reported that they were put on hold for about 50 minutes. So, be prepared for a long wait.
- Not connecting: Sometimes, the numbers do not seem to connect as reported by some users. Do not be disheartened if there are such issues. Keep trying after some time.
- No one Answering : Sometimes, it can also happen that no one is answering the customer service number, this was also reported by few users. So, keep trying after some time, if no one picks up.

Sharat, If you are goind to the old portal, it will keep doing that. Can you check, if you are going to the new portal. Try to clear cookies and cache and try on the new USVisaScheduling website. If it repeats more, call the customer service.
I’m experiencing the same thing…I sign into the portal to make appointment for biometrics but there are no options to make appointment…please help

While making a call, auto answer says to press this number & that number. While keep pressing the numbers as instructed, you don’t get connected to anyone & it says that you have not press any options. I really couldn’t understand the problem. Please sort out. I can’t see any option to schedule an appointment on my portal at all it’s blank. What should I do. I have also emailed and called but nothing worked. On left side of screen there’s no option to book appointment or any other action.
I am Sayali Kulkarni. I have my US Visa appointment tomorrow and on 18th January. I wanted to postpone the appointments of mine but, was unbale to login because answers of security questions didn’t match. I tried to contact call center via phone and mail. But, received no reply. The DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form, is for temporary travel to the United States, and for K (fiancé(e)) visas. Form DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State website via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant’s eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa.
Visa applicants must submit a completed DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for all nonimmigrant visa categories, including applicants applying for K visas. ( Note: For K visa cases in process at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate prior to October 7, 2013, review the limited exceptions explained in the FAQs below.)

Important Notice to Visa Applicants: After you have completed the DS-160, you must take these next steps below:
- Print and keep the DS-160 barcode page. (You will not need to print the full application.)
- You must schedule a visa interview appointment. (The U.S. Embassy or Consulate does not schedule an appointment for you.) Visit the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website where you will be interviewed for country-specific instructions.;
- Pay the visa application processing fee . Review country-specific instructions on the U.S. Embassy or Consulate website.

Call center agents are located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (outskirts of New Delhi), and Hyderabad. Help is available in Hindi, English, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Telugu. There is no fee for calling the call center. They can answer visa related questions.

The US Embassy in India is moving its customer service center to a new platform, suspending customer calls, appointment booking and fee payment services from July 25 to 28. The services are set to resume on July 29 and customers have been asked to ensure all entered profile information is accurate and complete.

- Ensure that all the data entered in your profile is complete and correct. If you need to correct any of the information, please do so as soon as possible.
- If you plan to pay a visa application fee in the near future, please do so before July 24, 2023, as payment services will be unavailable from July 25 to July 28 to enable the system change. Services will resume on July 29, 2023.
- If you have paid your visa fee but not associated it to your profile, please ensure you log in to your profile and associate your payment by entering the payment receipt number into your profile.
- If you are a travel coordinator, group coordinator, or family, and you added dependent visa applicants to primary applicant profiles, please ensure that each dependent/applicant has a unique email address. This may mean changing the email address you currently have listed for them. Please contact our call center if you need help updating this information.

English- and Tagalog-speaking customer service agents are ready to assist you Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The call center is closed for Philippine and U.S. holidays .

If you are a nonimmigrant applicant, you may check your DS-160 and visa application status online here by entering your interview location and your DS-160 barcode number. If you are an immigrant visa applicant you will enter your case number.
Instant: Enter your passport number below to check on the status. If your passport is ready for pick-up, please bring supporting documents and collect it in a timely manner. If your passport is not collected in a timely manner it will be sent back to the Embassy or Consulate.
Email: Send an email to [email protected] and in the subject and/or body enter a valid passport number exactly as it was entered at the time the appointment was scheduled, and you will receive an automatic response with the status.

- The U.S. Embassy/Consulate where the visa applicant will appear for an interview
