To make travel more accessible to young people. Under30Experiences cultivates joy, authentic experiences, and a supportive community through travel. You don't just come on a trip with us...it's so much more than that. Our trips are designed specifically with you in mind.   And we travel differently. We support local communities, believe in eco-friendly sustainability practices & show you a country authentically as travelers, not tourists. We love cultural immersion experiences. Our groups are never more than 18 people, creating a more authentic experience for everyone! We are a team of travel-obsessed humans, and we can't wait to share our passions with you!

Before your trip, you'll have the opportunity to join a custom WhatsApp Group and connect with other travelers on your trip! Many travelers meet the airport or for pre-trip drinks if they are from the same city. Others coordinate plans to stay in a country after their trip. During your adventure, our Trip Leaders do their best to foster an open, supportive environment, where people feel safe to truly be themselves. We are a safe space for everyone! ‍ After your trip, you'll be an official U30X Alumni, and part of our larger community, where you'll have access to our network of thousands of past travelers. We are constantly hosting meetups that range from simple happy hours, to hikes, to outdoor movie nights. More than 70% of our travelers come solo, but they all leave with friends. Our Trip Leaders are trained to politely breakup conversations about politics if they get uncomfortable—we want our community to be a place where everyone feels welcome, and where our travelers can escape the noise of daily life We have zero-tolerance policy for racism, bigotry, and sexual harassment.

All you have to worry about is getting to the airport in your destination! We take care of the rest and meet you there. From accommodations, to transportation, to meals, and knowledge of the best local spots, we hook you up with everything you need. ‍ Before your trip, we'll help you with any questions you may have and share access to resources that will help you make the most of your experience. Our Trip Leaders and Regional Managers are tourism professionals who show you the places where the locals go. They are trained in First Aid, CPR, and have emergency protocols in place for every trip.

Other companies pack you in a bus with 40-50 people & drag you around like tourists. We provide authentic, cultural experiences with plenty of time to chill... giving you more time to explore and less time in the van. Enjoy boutique accommodations handpicked by our staff. You'll never have to worry about staying in another dirty hostel. We take our feedback seriously and are always looking to improve. It's our goal to understand exactly what our travelers want, and we're constantly tweaking our itineraries to give you the best experience possible.

Avoiding the tourist traps and combating overtourism is critical to our mission as a company. We seek cultural experiences, and try our best to build positive relationships around the world. Under30Experiences does our best to keep your hard earned money in the local economies of the places we visit. We have a strong preference for locally owned, family run vendors, with sustainability policies in place. On many of our trips, we offer community projects to give back, and do our best to keep money in the local economy.  We are extremely careful to get to know the leaders of the local organizations we support and understand the true needs of local communities. The last thing we want to do is make assumptions about a local area without doing our due diligence. Under30Experiences is not a "voluntourism" organization. Our travelers attend our trips to go on vacation, not to dig ditches or rebuild houses. But, we also understand that young people have a deep desire to make the world a better place... When we can support local organizations that give back to a local community, we absolutely do!  Our team is passionate about protecting the environment and keeping our planet healthy for generations to come. We understand traveling to another country can be intimidating. That's why our staff is highly trained, First Aid & CPR certified, and is there to keep you safe. We have detailed internal emergency response plans for when the unpredictable happens. Our team carefully reviews our vendors emergency protocols each season to ensure our travelers safety. Under30Experiences has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, and hate speech. Anyone who violates these rules will be asked to leave our trip.

You’ll get up close to Berlin’s history and vibrant art scene, as well as the jaw-dropping architecture of Prague and Vienna. You’ll hike around a ridiculously scenic mountain lake on the way to Salzburg. You’ll get immersed in Innbruck’s alpine charm, live out Italian fantasies in the Tuscan countryside, and sample the most mouth-watering cuisine in Rome. Day 1 Amsterdam

Arrive at any time, find a comfy spot in the hostel to relax or go out to explore before meeting fellow Roamies in the evening.

Remember booking this trip months back? Now, you’re actually on it, in the places you hoped to experience. What a cool feeling! Soak it up with an included bike tour of Amsterdam. Hop on two wheels and cruise along the city's canals like the locals do. Then, travel by train from Amsterdam to Berlin where you will have a free evening to explore this fascinating city. You could also spend the evening unwinding in your hostel. Maybe play some cards as a group. Anyone ever heard of “Pitch”?

Day 3 berlin.

Let loose today, we dare you. Why? Because it will be fun, especially with your newest pals. Get your bearings with an orientation walk with your CEO around the city. Then, it's your turn to explore the tangible history and melting pot of cultures at work here. Head straight for the Berlin Wall, walk through the Brandenburg Gate, and feast those eyes on the Checkpoint Charlie Museum.

Want to try something even cooler? Rent a bike and visit the now defunct Tempelhof Airport which doubles as a beautiful park space in the city. (A best-kept local secret if we do say so ourselves). At night lounge in the hostel or witness the vibrant nightlife Berlin is known for.

Day 4 Berlin/Prague

Prague is up next, with a few treats along the way! First up on your journey is Dresden, Germany. Home to a booming art scene, we think a visit there to wander around the cobblestone streets, is a must. Explore the picturesque old town, stroll through the charming streets and take in the beautiful views of the Elbe River. Step back in time and admire the stunning reconstruction of Frauenkirche, a must-see landmark in Dresden. Indulge in the art and culture scene.

Afterwards, hit the road and arrive in Prague by early evening. Your day doesn’t end here, gather as a group and go on a highlight walk with your cool CEO passing must-see places like, the TV Tower of Prague, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, and John Lennon's Wall, followed by a beer tasting to experience Prague's famous brews.

Day 5 Prague

Soak up the atmosphere of Prague on a highlight walk of all the city has to offer. Afterwards, hit up the famous Charles Bridge with your friends, admire the clock tower in the main square, or sit and sip a thirst-quenching brew at a traditional Czech beer hall with a side of meat and potatoes. It’s guaranteed to be a loud, lively and marvellous time! Remember, it's all up to you.

Day 6 Prague/Vienna

You're in for a day of unbeatable views! Get ready for another round of those back-in-time feelings as you stroll through the Medieval town of Cesky Krumlov on the way to Vienna. Be your own Queen (or King) of the castle as you explore 13th century ramparts with the added bonus of spectacular views. Slip into your inner explorer and see the Old Town from the top of the round bell tower, people watch from a cafe in the main square while you debate as a group where to have lunch, and then toss a coin to make the decision.

Finish the day in Vienna where you’ll get to know the city as a group on an evening highlights walk. Pass sites like, St. Stephen's Cathedral, Rathaus, National Library, The Hofburg and much more. Later, kick back, relax, and have some laughs at your hostel.

Day 7 Vienna

We’re excited for you today! The day is yours after a short walking tour, but don’t let the freedom paralyze you. We have plenty of suggestions. You could seek out famous landmarks like, The Vienna State Opera House, Belvedere Palace, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, and Vienna City Hall.

Remember, we all need a little downtime during our travels, so if you need a break we get it. Grab a coffee, order a slice of mouthwatering cake and settle yourself in with your pals on a café terrace as the world moves on around you. Don’t worry, you still have plenty of time to keep finding a few world-famous museums and indulge in typical Austrian desserts like strudel or Sacher Torte. Keep in mind your CEO just might know the best secret places that will really set your experience apart from the main crowd. Ask away!

Day 8 Vienna/Salzburg

If you have a soft spot for beautiful alpine lakes that border two countries, today is going to check off all of those boxes. You’ll be able to wander around the clear waters of Konigsee, smell the fresh air, and find that inner peace that comes from being in the great outdoors.

Salzburg is up next, so don’t forget to save some of that wanderlust energy! You’ll go with the group on an orientation walk of the city. Wander the historic squares and quaint little side streets of Salzburg Old Town. Climb Festungsberg Hill to visit Hohensalzburg Castle, or find the birthplace of Mozart and meet up to go to the museum there.

Day 9 Salzburg/Munich

A whistle blows in the distance as a conductor shouts, “All Aboard!” You rush to the platform, jumping on with just moments to spare. While this may not be exactly what happens today, it will pretty much be along those lines when you hop on a train from Salzburg to Munich. A city with a big heart, as charming as it is laid back, and as buzzing as it is calm will be waiting for you upon arrival.

Spend time in Marienplatz, home to the Old and New Town Halls. Find the famous glockenspiel, or one of the many great beer halls, or the green dome-crested towers of the iconic Church of Our Lady. The vibe is totally up to you, have a pint, or two, or three!

Day 10 Munich

Set your inner detective on the loose in search of the best experiences in Munich. Visit museums, art galleries, lush gardens, and main squares. Learn about the history and culture and shop, eat, drink, and walk until you drop. If you need time to recuperate, opt to stay in the hostel and relax in the common areas before the group welcomes new travellers in the evening.

Day 11 Munich/Innsbruck

Day 12 Innsbruck/Venice

Pile onto the bus again and head into the epic scenery of the Dolomites. Think filling your feed with crystal clear mountain lakes and snow-capped peaks. Take a hiatus from the road and stroll around Lake Misurina in the province of Belluno. Known as the “Pearl of Cadore”, you won’t be disappointed with what you find here. The mirror-like reflection of the mountains in the lake makes it seem as if you are walking in a dream.

But don’t forget, Venice is the real end goal of today, so try not to get too attached to Belluno, we bet you already did. Tonight join your CEO for a nice cold beverage and see where the night takes you.

Day 13 Venice

“Oh what a night, what a beautiful night…” This tends to be the song stuck in our heads whenever a visit to Venice is on the table. Can’t you just hear that accordion? After becoming acquainted with Venice's cuisine on a CEO-led food tour, and learning of ghostly legends, the day is yours, no judgments here on what you decide to do. From canals to gondola rides, and inspiring architecture, what’s not to love?

The main city is small enough that you can walk it in several hours with the added bonus of getting those steps in. Explore the canals, relax in the small squares, and go cafe-hopping for coffee, pastries, wine, or all three, because why not? See Venice from the water on a gondola ride through the canals, run through the pigeons or people watch in St. Mark’s Square, take an elevator ride up to the top of the Campanile Di San Marco for panoramic views of the city below. Your only real job today is to have a blast!!

Day 14 Venice/Florence

We promise your tastebuds will thank you and rejoice with what’s on the menu for today’s adventure. All aboard the train from Venice to Florence. Being one of Italy’s most sought after food capitals, make sure you stuff your face while here. Eat the city’s signature pasta and venture out of those comfort zones to sample any specialty dishes you may stumble upon. Your CEO will point you in the right direction on CEO-led food and market tour.

This evening happens to be perfect if you are looking to relax, eat some more (if you can), or recover from those food comas in your hostel before a quick highlight tour of the city.

Day 15 Florence

Live your best life on this free day in Florence! Grab some pals, lace up those walking shoes, and let the good times roll. Take in famous works of art hung in the Uffizi and Galleria dell’Accademia. “Oh and ah” at the grand architectural masterpieces of the Duomo and the Palazzo Pitti, and smell the flowers in Boboli Gardens. Looking for more chill vibes? We got you covered. Walk along the Arno and over the Ponte Vecchio before eating your way through the Firenze’s many cafes, ristorantes, and gelato shops.

Day 16 Florence/Rome

Leave Florence behind and catch the train to Rome. Upon arrival grab your travel mates and enjoy a walking your before letting your appetites run wild on an afternoon food tour; cue those Italian fantasies. Sample pizza, gelato and more as you learn about the heart and soul behind Italian cooking.

Highlights in Bucharest include visiting the colossal Palace of Parliament (constructed by former dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu), watching a performance in the gorgeous Romanian Athenaeum and relaxing in the pretty Cişmigiu Gardens. 

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

The capital of a little nation often overlooked by travelers, Luxembourg City has a fairy-tale feel about it with a grand palace overlooking quaint, cobbled streets. Surrounded by forest-clad valleys and vineyards, it's an ideal destination for gourmands – there's an impressive number of restaurants featured in the Michelin Guide, eight of which have received at least one star.

Riga, Latvia

With an UNESCO-listed medieval old town, regenerated riverside and a restaurant scene offering everything from modern new Nordic to traditional cookery, there's a lot to love about the Latvian capital. It's best to get a sense of its complex history through the eclectic mix of medieval, Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings in the handsome city centre, then head up to the spire of St Peter's Church to take in the maze of terracotta roofs from above.

Belgrade, Serbia

One of Europe's most energetic capitals, Belgrade has plenty of buzz about it. With cool clubs (its summer barge parties along the Danube and Sava rivers are legendary), eclectic music scene, creative community and clutch of designer hotels, Belgrade is becoming quite the hip destination. Add to that the city's handsome old town, ancient citadel and regenerated riverside districts, it's a wonder this Danube River city isn't on more travelers' must-visit list.

Vienna, Austria

It's renowned for art and culture but Vienna is all too often edged out by schmaltzy Salzburg. Those that bypass Vienna do so mistakenly. The riches of the Kunsthistorisches Museum with its Rembrandts, Vermeers and Rubens are worth planning a visit around alone. Then there's the prestigious Vienna State Opera , magnificent St Stephen's Cathedral , splendid Baroque palaces and the array of beautiful Art Nouveau coffee houses. In winter its pretty squares are usually flooded with festive markets.

Vilnius, Lithuania

Vilnius might be small but when it comes to attractions, this former European Capital of Culture is a big hitter. It boasts the largest medieval old town in central and eastern Europe with ample parks, squares, historic churches, bars, cafés and restaurants to amuse you. Walking up Castle Hill to Gediminas' Tower , the city's best-known landmark, then meandering through the winding lanes below and watching the city go by in the bustling Cathedral Square is one of the best ways to spend a perfect day in the Lithuanian capital.

Sofia, Bulgaria

With plenty of museums, galleries and a lively nightlife, it's surprising that Sofia isn't on more city break hot lists. Dominated by the vast, domed St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral , Bulgaria's capital is stunning and best explored on foot to take in the magnificent buildings, from the National Theatre to former mineral baths. There are plenty of green spaces to wander around as well, like Borisova Gradina , the city's oldest park.

Podgorica, Montenegro

Podgorica is another diminutive city that's unlikely to bowl you over with its beauty, but the Adriatic nation's capital is worthy of a stop en route to blissful beaches, wineries and mountains. Built around the confluence of the Ribnica and Morača rivers, Podgorica has striking bridges, pretty parks and some remainders of its Ottoman-era old town, such as the 17th-century Clock Tower. Petrović Castle, set within a lovely park in the charming Kruševac area, houses the city’s Centre for Modern Arts.

Valletta, Malta

The sun-drenched Mediterranean archipelago might be best known for its beaches, but the ancient capital is equally alluring and perfectly proportioned for a weekend break. There are lavish palazzos and centuries-old churches, such as the awe-inspiring St John's Co-Cathedral (which contains original paintings by Caravaggio). The formidable Grand Harbour is a highlight – the Upper Barrakka Gardens are great for panoramic views over this former European Capital of Culture.

Vaduz, Liechtenstein

Straight out of the pages of a fairy-tale book, little Liechtenstein is one of Europe's least-visited countries. The German speaking principality sits between Switzerland and Austria, and its capital Vaduz is surrounded by some seriously majestic alpine scenery. Views aside, its best-known landmark is the 12th-century Vaduz Castle, the official residence of the Prince of Lichtenstein.

Ankara, Turkey

Declared the Turkish capital after the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1923, cosmopolitan Ankara typically loses out to package holiday destinations or alluring Istanbul. But the city has a fascinating history beyond its status as the capital and its mix of modern and historical architecture is very telling of its past. Ankara Castle, Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and Anıtkabir – the mausoleum of the first president of the Turkish Republic, Ataturk – are among the best historic attractions, while the sprawling Gençlik Park has an amusement park, two miniature trains and over 40 kiosks selling all manner of wares.

Bern, Switzerland

With its well-preserved medieval old town, snow-covered Alpine backdrop and the pretty River Aare, Bern is a lovely city. The laid-back vibe means it doesn't feel like a bustling capital – and all the better for it. The arcaded streets of its UNESCO-listed historic area are perfect for pottering, with plenty of small shops and cafés. Top attractions include the Zytglogge (clocktower), Gothic Bern Minster , Museum of Fine Arts , Einstein House and the Einstein Museum .

City of San Marino, San Marino

The capital city of Europe's least-visited country (and third-smallest state) sits perched on the slopes of Mount Titano and commands amazing views of the Appenines. The car-free medieval center of Città, as it's commonly known, has ancient arches, ramparts and palazzi to explore. It might be small but, as one of the world's oldest republics, it's steeped in character and history.

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Most visitors arriving in Ljubljana pass through quickly en route to Lake Bled and the Julian Alps. Big mistake – the city has one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Europe, a vibrant festival scene, cutting-edge art galleries and sophisticated restaurants. The traffic-free historic center is a delight to explore with its mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. The hilltop castle offers excellent views while the National Museum of Slovenia houses some of the country's most prized and ancient treasures.

Oslo, Norway

Often shunned in favor of Arctic cruises and quaint Bergen further up the coast, Oslo has slowly been raising its profile. With a compact and walkable historic center, leafy green spaces and cutting-edge modern architecture, there's lots to love about this Nordic capital. Some of the top things to do here include walking up the roof of the ultra-modern Oslo Opera House and checking out the nearby Deichman Library , plus kayaking down the Oslofjord or exploring the islands and enjoying the city's bar scene.

Brussels, Belgium

The political center of Europe, there's much more to Brussels than just the seat of the European Parliament and home to many other EU institutions. It's packed with museums and some of Europe's best architecture. The imposing Grand Place is a good way to start exploring the city and its quaint charm. The Musée Fin-de-Siècle is great for art lovers, while the Belgian Chocolate Village , an enormous space dedicated entirely to chocolate, is a must for those with a sweet tooth.

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Founded by the Ottomans in the 15th century, Bosnia and Herzegovina's beautiful capital retains a lot of its Turkish heritage, especially in its atmospheric old bazaar and historic center Baščaršija. Known as the Jerusalem of Europe because of its religious diversity, with a Catholic church, synagogue and mosque sitting side by side, this is a place to saunter from cafés to its souk-like stalls. The Tunnel of Hope museum just outside the city center is an excellent place to learn what life was like during the 1992-96 siege, following the declaration of independence from Yugoslavia.

Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK

There's a great energy about this proud city in Northern Ireland that is all too often overlooked. However, Belfast has its fair share of friendly pubs, traditional live music venues and world-class attractions, such as the Titanic Belfast , Ulster Museum and The MAC culture center . St George's Market is a must-visit for sampling Northern Irish produce. Time to spare? The magnificent Mountains of Mourne and the Giant’s Causeway are a short drive away.

Warsaw, Poland

Quaint Kraków might steal the limelight, but those in the know go to Poland's capital Warsaw. Heavily bombed during the Second World War, the painstakingly rebuilt medieval old town (now an UNESCO World Heritage site) is a remarkable feat and a wonderful place to explore. Another noteworthy landmark is the striking Monument to the Warsaw Uprising – the painful history behind it is well-documented at the excellent Warsaw Rising Museum . It also has elegant parks, most notably the Royal Łazienki Park with its Neoclassical palace.

Yerevan, Armenia

The capital of Armenia is one of Europe's least-known cities and all the more intriguing for it. Its skyline is dominated by Mount Ararat, the symbol of Armenia. Visitors can climb to the top of The Cascade stairway for spectacular city and mountain views or meander through the narrow lanes of the old quarter before seeking out somewhere to try khoravats (traditional barbecued meat). A harrowing but important visit is The Armenian Genocide Museum and its moving memorial.

Tbilisi, Georgia

It might not have entirely escaped the eye of tourists but it's fair to say the capital of this small Caucasus nation isn't one of Europe's big hitters. Those who do visit congregate in the delightful old quarter where most of Tbilisi's historical sights (including Narikala Fortress ), cafés, bars, museums and charming streets are to be found. Incredible food and wines are another huge reason to seek out this city. Those looking to relax should check out the city's traditional hot sulfur bathhouses.

Zagreb, Croatia

There's no doubt Dubrovnik overshadows the rest of the country so those seeking a quieter escape should look towards Croatia's inland capital. Located along the Sava River and framed by Mount Medvednica, Zagreb might not have beaches, but it does have all the pillars of a great city break: a charming cobbled old town, wonderful food and a fantastic art scene. Once its most famous sights – namely the twin-spired Zagreb Cathedral and colorful St Mark's Church – are ticked off the list, there's a maze of cute backstreets to explore.

Andorra la Vella, Andorra

Sitting at 3,356 feet (1,023m) above sea level, this is the highest capital city in Europe – and one of the smallest. Wedged between France and Spain, mountainous Andorra is mostly known for its ski resorts, but Andorra la Vella is worth a visit for different reasons. There are some great boutiques, reputable restaurants and well-preserved Romanesque architecture. One of the city's most significant buildings is 16th-century Casa de la Vall , which was the seat of the Parliament of Andorra from 1702 to 2011.

Skopje, North Macedonia

The cafés, mosques and stall-lined, winding streets of Stara Čaršija (Skopje's old hillside bazaar) are the best place to soak in the North Macedonian capital's history and culture. Most of the city's Ottoman- and Byzantine-era sights sit across the 15th-century Kameni Most bridge, including traditional bathhouses and Fortress Kale . From its ramparts, a stunning view opens up over the old town and across the Vardar river to the city’s modern buildings.

Nicosia, Cyprus

Cyprus is known more for beach holidays than sophisticated city breaks but exploring its split capital (the only divided capital in the world) is a real insight into ancient and modern Cypriot culture. The southern half of the city (known as south Nicosia among locals, Nicosia in English and Lefkosia in Greek), is the capital of the republic while the northern half, known as Lefkoşa, is Turkish-occupied. Top spots include the old quarter of Laiki Geitonia, the Cyprus Museum with its archaeological treasures and charming cafés serving traditional pastries.

Chişinău, Moldova

A blend of brutalist Soviet buildings and modern high-rises, Chişinău might lack the architectural riches of some European capitals but it has charms of its own. The city is surprisingly leafy with lovely parks and a clutch of interesting museums. Some pre-Second World War buildings remain, including a 19th-century orthodox cathedral with beautiful frescoes. The cathedral square is a lovely place to wander around the open-air flower market, bars and restaurants, and sample some of the famed Moldovan wine.

Tirana, Albania

One of the last European countries to shake off communism, Albania's capital has a certain charm with wide avenues and brightly colored buildings. The Albanian National Museum and the National Gallery of Arts are both well worth a visit, as is the Et'hem Bey Mosque, one of Tirana's last remaining examples of Ottoman architecture.

Helsinki, Finland

Stockholm and Copenhagen tend to overshadow Helsinki when it comes to Nordic city breaks, but this cool capital has plenty to offer. Great museums, striking buildings (like Finlandia Hall overlooking Töölönlahti Bay and Sibelius Monument), cool boutiques and hip designer hotels make Finland's capital a more-than-worthy contender. There's a pretty harborside area, the UNESCO-listed island fortress of Suomenlinna , a fantastic food scene and a plethora of saunas too.

Tallinn, Estonia

With its 13th-century walled old town – all cobblestone streets, quaint courtyards, medieval spires and pastel merchants' houses – and pretty position on the Baltic Sea, Tallinn is a serious looker. It's garnered a reputation as a place for cheap beer and late-night bars but there's far more to it. The hip Kalamaja district is excellent for restaurants, cool shops and the brilliant maritime museum Seaplane Harbour .

Simple, well-located accommodation

All your accommodation is taken care of and on our trips rooming is organised on a twin-share basis. We pair up solo travellers with another traveller of the same gender as per the gender marker on each of their passports. We also have an optional single supplement available on most trips for travellers who prefer to have their own room. 

Local, sustainable transport

Getting from one place to another each day is included in your trip experience. We like to do things the local way, which can mean anything from Japanese bullet train to a Thai tuk tuk.
