This card is only worth getting if you are planning on staying in Christchurch for a while, as you have to buy the card for NZ$10 and be topped up with a minimum of NZ$10.
How do I use my SuperGold Card to travel for free?
Purchase a Bee card ($5) either online from beecard.co.nz or from reception at the Bay of Plenty Regional Council offices and request a concession be loaded by providing your Super Gold card details for verification. Tag on a bus using your Bee card with your SuperGold Card concession added to it at the beginning of your journey and tag off at the end of your journey.
