Poppy Announces Summer Co-Headlining Tour Dates with PVRIS

In addition to her recently released single, “Church Oufit,” on April 3, Poppy is now revealing that she will hit the road in 2023 for her Godless/Goddess Tour.

The 18-date trek will kick off on August 18 in Seattle, Washington, making stops in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, and Pittsburgh before wrapping in Ontario, Canada on September 15.

The singer shared the news on social media, writing, “Excited to announce the Godless/Goddess Tour with  @thisispvris ! Tickets on sale April 7 at 10:00 am local.”

While fans are excited that Poppy is back on the road, many of the commentators to her post were disappointed that the tour wasn’t coming to city near them.

“not you skipping Chicago & Milwaukee,” wrote one fan.

“NEW YORK OR PHILLY PLEASE ADD MORE DATES,” added another.

Poppy = Electric performance that would appeal to a wide audience! Poppy sings some mesmerizingly quieter lyrics which are violently (in a good complementary way) teamed up with a raucously strong drummer and 3 guitarists. {Bring earplugs, seriously- you will still hear everything and avoid getting a hearing aid when you are old.} To get a feel for what I'm describing, seek out her excellent duet with Grimes: Play Destroy.

A note on VOWWS, the opening act on 1-25-20;

Two musicians. He sings and plays guitar, reminded me of Depeche Mode & Chris Isaak. She sings and plays the keyboard/mixer/turntable(?), reminded me of a mix of Berlin and Mazzy Star. Very enjoyable music.

Poppy's show was absolutely amazing! She interacted so much with her friends, and she performed all of her songs very well. One of my personal favorite parts of the concert is when she decided to "share" a box of doughnuts by throwing them at the crowd! She graciously accepted all of the gifts fans offered her. However, the best part is when she reached out to me and told me "I know you!" I felt soooo lucky that she actually recognized me, and she did this to only one other person. This was definitely the best concert I have ever been to.

Poppy was amazing! the venue was pretty small and there weren't many people, so that was even better! Because of that, she was so close to me (she touched my hand multiple times and even took my phone for a second!!) and it felt way better than a huge concert with a thousand people. and i knew that the people there were real fans just like me:) also it wasn't too expensive and it was totally worth it, even if her performance was pretty short...

she said she'll be back in belgium and i just can't wait!

Poppy and Titanic Sinclair have such a strong online presence. Seeing them live was absolutely surreal. Their viral videos have give them as many views as highly reported and advertised celebrities. The Poppy show included all of the elements from their videos, creepy moments, conspiracy theory fodder, and awesome pop music. I am so happy that Titanic Sinclair was also there, I left starstruck and inspired.

So good! A lot more adults than I expected, but she puts on a great show, it’s lots of fun to watch!! I only wish she sang some songs from her EP, but the ones she did sing were great!!! It sounded a little lip syncy, but that’s kind of her style, so I thought that was fine. And she talked to us, which I usually think is very important to a concert! Overall a great show!

POPPY WAS AMAZING!!! There were a LOT of younger kids there who were OBSESSED, but they were really cute and Poppy interacted with them a lot, so it was really cool to see that :) There was ONE 12 year old bitch there that kinda ruined EVERYONE’S mood there but other than that, the concert was very amazing and I would totally go again! :) I’m not in a cult led by Poppy

100% the best show I've ever been to! Better than Katy Perry, better than God smack, better than everyone I've seen! So unique and energetic, merch prices were really cheap! I would totally go again! I would go 1000 times again if I could! Aviva was amazing opening for her, and overall the concert was great!

Poppy has really improved their stage performance. They have a live band now, and they sound quite good. I miss the extra stuff that they used to do between the songs with Computer Boy and Charlotte. But, this is made up for by the fact that they can play their new heavier songs such as X.

I had a great experience at the concert. I got to confess to her, while she was on stage, she gave me a Poppy Beverage and it tasted great. Her overall performance was amazing. I would recommend everybody to go see her. Tickets are cheap too! Rate 11/10. Would definitely see her again

Definitely the weirdest concert I have ever been to. But will definitely be seeing her again. I had a blast. Only complaint is that the concert was pretty short, but given that she really one has an EP and 1 album out there isn’t much content out their right now.

Poppy Announces Rescheduled North American Tour Dates

After postponing her fall tour last year, the enigmatic Poppy has announced a new run of tour dates with 32 stops in the United States and Canada on the international 'Never Find My Place' tour.

The pop-turned-metal-gone-dream-punk musician has continued to shake things up since the September release of her latest album,  Flux , having released a new song, " 3.14 ," which was dedicated to her pet cat. She showed off her eclectic taste in music and affinity for doom and black metal in an 'What's In My Bag?' episode from Amoeba, guested on a new song by electro-industrial group HEALTH and launched her own metaverse with the PoppySphere app .

With a fresh set of tour dates on the books, Poppy will embark on a North American run which kicks off on March 8 in Sacramento, California and finishes up back in the 'Golden State' with a May 26 date in San Diego.

Poppy Announces New Album, Shares New Single “Knockoff”: Stream

She kicks off a co-headlining US tour with PVRIS kicks off next month

Poppy will unleash a new album titled Zig  on October 27th via Sumerian Records. In advance of the LP’s release and a previously announced late summer co-headlining US tour with PVRIS, she has dropped the single “Knockoff.”

Poppy had previously teased the new album with the strong lead single and album opener “Church Outfit” — a Heavy Song of the Week selection — back in April.

The only knock on that track was its rather brief duration, though the latest single “Knockoff” effectively mitigates that criticism. It’s the second song on the album, clocking in at three minutes, and acts as a continuation of “Church Outfit” with a strong electronic beat and full-blown industrial-pop production.

Zig will mark Poppy’s first LP since rejoining Sumerian following a brief stint with Republic Records. The label change is indicative of Poppy’s shift toward a heavier and more industrial sound over the years.

“The only thing more exciting than signing an iconic artist for the first time is signing them again, when they choose to return home,” stated Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen at the time. “Poppy is a pioneer and lover of music, film, pro-wrestling, the unorthodox and the avant-garde. That is why I believe Sumerian is still the best label in the world for her. We are thrilled to have her back.”

Poppy announces details of ‘Never Find My Place’ world tour

Poppy has unveiled details of a full world tour called ‘Never Find My Place’.

The tour will kick off on March 8 in the US and will be punctuated by a group of festival appearances this summer, including Roskilde, Welcome To Rockville and When We Were Young.

This will be Poppy’s first tour since her ‘I Disagree’ tour was cut short in early 2020 following the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

Poppy will arrive in the UK in November and will kick things off in Bristol, before heading out to London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Earlier this month, Poppy shared a new song, ‘3.14’, written for her cat, who’s named Pi.

The track was first released via the artist’s recently launched MetaVerse app ‘PoppySphere’ on January 11, which is described as “a virtual 8-bit universe for fans to explore, with dynamic rooms and secrets to uncover as they navigate a realm of iconoclastic creation”.

‘3.14’ marked Poppy’s first original song of the year, although it is unclear if the track will feature on an upcoming project.

Prior to the release of ‘3.14’, Poppy began teasing a new era of her career with a series of eerie videos . The first, titled ‘Glass’, landed on December 22. It shows Poppy taking a sip from a porcelain cup before smashing it to pieces, crossing her arms and staring into the camera.

The second video, ‘Blow Away’, arrived on December 27. Poppy is seen swivelling around while blindly staring into space against a droning soundtrack.

The third, and latest teaser, ‘Dessert’, runs at two-and-a-half minutes, and arrived on January 3. It sees Poppy slowly spinning around, while holding a slice of cake with a knife in her hand.

Poppy released her fourth full-length album, ‘Flux’ in September. The record received a four-star review from NME , with El Hunt writing: “Ultimately ‘Flux’ feels like a record about holding clear boundaries, constantly shifting in the face of set expectations, and following your creative gut instead.”

Poppy and PVRIS unveil The Godless/Goddess co-headline tour

Poppy and PVRIS will tour North America together on The Godless/Goddess Tour, with support coming from Tommy Genesis and Pom Pom Squad.

We’ve had new music from both Poppy and PVRIS (separately, obvs) within the past week – and now they’re set to go on tour together!

The pair have just announced details of The Godless/Goddess Tour in North America, with support coming from Tommy Genesis and Pom Pom Squad.

The Godless/Goddess Tour will kick off in Seattle on August 18, and wrap up just under a month later in Toronto. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 7 at 10am local time.

Just yesterday, Poppy unveiled brilliant new single Church Outfit . Meanwhile, last week PVRIS confirmed details of upcoming album EVERGREEN , due out on July 14 via Hopeless. So fingers crossed we get to hear lots of new stuff from both Poppy and PVRIS live on this tour.
