C ampus tours are not specific to PA students but our locations (listed below) will be included in the general tours that are conducted by the Office of Admissions.

SIGN UP FOR A TOUR

While on your tour, look out for the following program-specific locations:

Riland Center The tour ambassador could show where the labs are located but it will difficult to enter the labs when classes and practice sessions are in progress.

Anatomy Lab (3 rd floor): State of the Art lab with cadavers. One cadaver per 8 – 10 PA students.

Institute for Clinical Competence (2 nd floor): Contains robotic patients, diagnostic equipment, and also Exam Rooms with live “Standardized Patients” (i.e. actors trained to simulate acute and chronic patient scenarios)

Cafeteria (2 nd floor)

Health Center (Clinic) ( 1 st floor)

Wisser Memorial Library This building contains classrooms, clinical skills labs, and study areas for the School of Health Professions. The tour ambassador will be able to show you the common areas and the locations of the classrooms. However, the classrooms and labs will be off-limits during classes and locked on other days to protect the valuable equipment.

Embarking on your graduate journey at New York Institute of Technology just got even more accessible and convenient with our new flexible and affordable prerequisite course options. We understand the importance of easing your transition into graduate studies, which is why we now offer alternative pathways to fulfill prerequisite requirements.

Information about your waivable prerequisites can be found on your offer letter.

• Option 1 (Recommended): Complete the prerequisite courses via the recommended third-party education provider below.
• Option 2: Other alternative sources to fulfill prerequisite requirements (pre-approval and consent from the dean is required. Please email [email protected] ).
• Option 3: Complete the pre-requisite courses asynchronously online from New York Institute of Technology online campus. *Please note that New York Insitute of Technology-Vancouver campus no longer offers in-person delivery for prerequisite courses

The below alternatives provides a more flexible and affordable approach to meeting prerequisite criteria before commencing your graduate studies at New York Tech Vancouver campus. By completing these prerequisites beforehand, you can streamline your transition into the academic journey upon arrival.

Please note that these courses are facilitated by third-party providers. While they offer valuable opportunities, New York Tech is unable to intervene in cases of disputes, provide support, or issue refunds for these alternative courses. We strongly advise enrolling in these third-party courses only after securing your visa and confirming your enrollment at New York Tech Vancouver campus . This ensures that your efforts align with your academic and immigration timelines.

Upon completion of a course, students are required to submit their certificate to [email protected] . This submission will enable you to receive a waiver for the corresponding prerequisite course.

As New York Tech prepares for the 2024-2025 academic year, several faculty members were recognized for their outstanding teaching, scholarship, and service through tenure and promotions approved at the Board of Trustees meeting on May 16.

“It is a privilege to recognize these educators and scholars for their achievements and commitment to the university and our students,” said Provost and Executive Vice President Jerry Balentine, D.O. “Their contributions in our classrooms, labs, and beyond are helping to develop the next generation of doers, makers, healers, and innovators, and we applaud their efforts to continually enhancing the student experience at New York Tech.”
