IT ALL BEGAN ALMOST 24 YEARS AGO when, together with a group of other enthusiasts, we started exploring the Romanian mountains. We discovered the excitement of experiencing new places and the joy of escaping the everyday bustle. Three years later, Christian Adventure Mountaineering School was founded. We wanted to make these wonderful experiences accessible to as many people as possible.  

Following the success of the mountaineering school, the next natural step was to extend the activity outside the borders. Therefore, in 1997, Christian Tour was founded. Since the philosophy of the newly founded travel agency was based on the same values as the school, to open up new experiences and places, we chose as logo a symbol that reminded of those special early days: the Bucegi Sphinx.  

In the past years, due to an excellent team of tourism professionals and the economic force behind us, Christian Tour has become one of the most important brands on the Romanian tourism market. Our field of activity is one of the most fascinating anyone can imagine: we set out our clients for dream destinations!

Friendship Tours was created in 1981 by its Christian owners with deep faith and a desire to serve and honor God. Our name says a lot about who we are and what we stand for. Every client becomes first and foremost a “friend.” The majority of our clients have worked with us for decades; some are second generation. Our commitment to service has developed a clear understanding of the needs of our clients.

Each year we take the time to visit all the hotels we use for our tours. Every guide we employ is personally interviewed. We continue to build relationships with our guides and applaud their dedication, knowledge and love for their native lands. By 2013 the brand had become very visible. Their communication needs were by now greater than ever, as Christian Tour had become the company that offered complete solutions for travel and tourism, regardless of whether it was a question of airline tickets, event organization, accommodation or simply holidays. The visual identity that we had created for them back in 2006-2007 needed to be upgraded, to provide the brand with the instruments it needed in order to be able to put its message across in all kinds of media.

Yeah, it sounds like a lot. We’ve led thousands of people on this journey of fundraising, and even though it’s hard work, it’s totally possible. We’ll guide you through the process! Don’t let this fear stop you from pursuing the Lord’s oall on your life!

Each World Race program is priced separately according to the trip and route; you can find the price of each trip by visiting the “Trips” page .

We encourage Racers to connect with a community of supporters for both prayer and financial support. We understand raising money can be intimidating, so we have Admissions Advisors committed to help you through the support raising process. (For more information, Fundraising 101 .)

If you’re worried about finances, don’t be. Over the years, we’ve learned time and time again when God calls, He provides. Still concerned? Check out this video for Our Top 5 Favorite Ways to Fundraise .

Yeah, we’ve heard that too! And sometimes, it can be true. We’re committed to doing mission trips well. In truth, both the long-term missionary and the short-term mission team bring a gift to the throne of our Lord. Long-term missionaries bring direction. Short-term missionaries bring velocity. Often our long-term partners are greatly encouraged by the infusion of life and resources into their ministry that short-term teams bring. It is the person with a long-term commitment to a community who plants a church and disciples its members. The relationships and vision they provide are essential. They are like the rudder on the ship, providing direction, steering the course. Short-term missionaries can be the wind in the sails which give velocity and thrust to the enterprise. They bring with them resources, a prayer base, and tremendous enthusiasm.

There is an online application process for all our World Race programs. Once you’ve submitted an application and paid the $49 fee, you can select your trip and route preference and schedule a phone interview.

We prayerfully review applications and look forward to learning more about you during the phone interview. By completing this interview, you are not committing to participate in a World Race program. However, as you complete these steps, it will help you decide if the Race is for you.

If accepted, you will secure your spot with a deposit, which also serves as your first donation.

After committing to a route, you’ll be connected with an Admissions Advisor. All of our Advisors on staff are alumni Racers, and their job is to help you with the planning, fundraising, and logistical information you need to prepare to go.

Yes! We do accept international applicants. However, due to the many obstacles including increased cost and complex, varying visa requirements, non-US applicants must coordinate additional logistics, including travel to and from Training Camp, and visas for each destination country.

All trip fees and charges must be paid in US dollars and tax deductions are only available for US residents. Non-US applicants must be fluent in English. Contact us for more details and to determine if you are eligible to apply.

Each day on the World Race looks a little different. Some days will be packed full with construction, VBS, evangelism outreach, relationship building, or praying for the sick. Some days could be slower –shopping for groceries at the market or spending time in prayer for the community and ministry.

The World Race is a program of the interdenominational mission organization Adventures in Missions (Also known as Adventures).

Our staff and leaders come from a wide range of Christian churches and denominations. Read our statement of beliefs for a deeper look at what we believe.

With the different backgrounds of our staff, our Racers, and the ministry partners we serve alongside, you will most likely experience worship styles, Bible teachings, and Christian community different than you’ve previously experienced. We encourage you to dig into Scripture and have ongoing conversations about these things. We love this picture of the body of Christ coming together, united in purpose to bring Jesus to the nations.

We recognize travel brings risk. We have worked hard to put extensive safety protocols in place. But, all Racers need to consider things happen that we can’t predict. People get sick and accidents happen. It is likely you will meet people suffering from a variety of diseases.

To address the issues we face, we have an experienced risk management team. They monitor political, health, weather, and other risks in the regions where we serve. This information includes the U.S. State Department travel warnings. All Racers have a travel insurance policy. The insurance company works closely with us to ensure you will receive the care you need. For more information about the insurance policy, click here .

We have external consultants who assist us in designing and managing our training and field implementation for safety protocols. Our internal risk management team creates contingency plans as needed so we are ready to move teams quickly if the need arises. We also have an extensive network of ministry partners and ministry connections worldwide who provide us with “eyes on the ground” as we assess situations.

We're just days away from the start of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials, a meet that will span nine days starting on Friday. 

There are plenty of fan-favorites and Olympic hopefuls to talk about, but we had another scenario worth pondering.

What if something far afield takes place? 

Here are two What-If scenarios that would shake up a handful of American teams across the distance and sprints.

2024 US Olympic Track & Field Trials

If christian miller makes the 100m team, does that leave kerley, lyles or coleman off.

Just under two months ago, Creekside (FL) phenom sprinter Christian Miller , broke the American under 20 100m record, clocking a wind-legal 9.93. 

Over the next several weeks, Miller also clocked a wind-aided 20.15 for 200m, strengthening his arsenal. This season alone, only 15 other men have gone sub-10 over 100m, and Miller sits No. 5 in the world, ahead of notable American sprinters Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley .

The real question is whether or not Miller will be able to keep his composure in an unfamiliar atmosphere. Not only will Miller be competing against seasoned pros. He'll be up against the fastest men in the world. 

This won't be anything close to easy for Miller, as he has to face a few juggernauts head-to-head if he wants to make history.

First and foremost, Noah Lyles .

The six-time World champion, American record-holder and defending world champion in both the 100m and 200m, Lyles has made it clear he's chasing the Olympic double. His lone 200m performance this year was a brisk 19.77, which was the No. 4 time in the world. 

His 9.85 performance in the 100m slots him at No. 3 heading into the Trials. 

Coleman and Kerley have each won a world title of their own, Kerley in 2022 and Coleman in 2019. Not to mention Kenny Bednarek , Ronnie Baker and Kendal Williams have all ran quick, sitting towards the top in the world leaderboard.

But if Miller makes the team alongside Lyles, there aren't enough spots for those men. 

If he makes it through the rounds unfazed, Miller would be in the mix to knock at least one of the three defending world champions off of the Olympic podium.

What If Parker Valby's Hot Streak Continues, She Runs Both Olympic Standards And Makes Both The 10,000m and 5,000m Teams?

Over the course of her final collegiate season with the Florida Gators, Parker Valby won an unprecedented five national titles across both the grass and on the track. She also posted three NCAA records, the indoor and outdoor 5,000m and the 10,000m. 

She's proven she's the best runner in the NCAA and arguably the best ever, but how does she stack up against the United States women's distance contingent. 

Unfortunately, Alicia Monson , the American record-holder in both the 10K and 5K is missing the remainder of the season following her surgery on her meniscus. 

Even without Monson, though, the crowd of women fighting for six spots is loaded with talent. Elise Cranny is the defending champion in both and recently ran 14:46.49 at the Portland Track Festival, which was her fastest time since 2022. She's yet to run a 10,000m, but her ability to dictate the race could see her maneuver her way to another U.S. title. 

Throw in the return of Elle St. Pierre (14:34.12) and a group of tested veterans including Weini Kelati (14:35.43), Josette Andrews (14:46.51) and Karissa Schweizer (14:48.60), and you've got yourself a world-class field. 

The worst part of it all is that the 10,000m will be equally as challenging. Kelati is the fastest woman in the U.S. this season, running 30:33.82 at The TEN in March. However, Valby is the only other American under 31:00 this season. Elly Henes and Natosha Rogers have qualifying times of 30:48.26 and 30:48.69. 

Honestly, with how consistent and elite Valby has been running over the last year, it's a very possible outcome, but it would take Valby's best for all 37.5 laps to come out on top of two talented fields. She is the sixth-fastest American over 5,000m, and her PB is just a few seconds out of a spot in the top three. Also, for convenience sake, she would want to run the Olympic standard in both events, eclipsing 14:52 and 30:40 over the 5K and 10K. 

That being said, she could get in through world rankings when it's all said and done ...if she finishes within the top three placements.

Ángela Aguilar and Christian Nodal dating: A look at their relationship

Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar are the new couple of the moment.

On June 10, the Mexican singers confirmed that they are in a relationship after romance rumors circulated online.

“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer,” Nodal, 25, and Aguilar, 20, told Hola! USA .

The publication also shared their first photos as a couple, which showed Nodal embracing Aguilar from behind and kissing her neck. The second photo showed them sitting together with Nodal playing the guitar.

The website noted that the pair began their relationship after Nodal and his former girlfriend and mother of his daughter, Cazzu, broke up.

Additionally, Nodal posted an Instagram video on June 11 addressing infidelity rumors between him and his former partner. He said he had a lot of respect for Cazzu (whose given name is Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli) and is now in a new relationship with “a woman I love.”

“Now I find myself living a precious experience with a woman I love,” Nodal said, later adding, “We are enjoying it, we are living the experience.”

On May 23, Nodal and Cazzu announced their split after two years of dating and eight months after their daughter, Inti, was born .

According to Billboard , in since-deleted Instagrams, Nodal said, in part, “Our love and respect for each other remains strong, especially in our role as parents to our wonderful daughter, Inti. I am deeply grateful for the moments we shared and will always carry those memories fondly. I appreciate your support and understanding during this time of change.”

The “Mis Amigas Las Flores” singer and the regional Mexican crooner surprised fans with their news — but the twosome have a history together.

2018: Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar go on tour together

Nodal and Aguilar have known each other for years. Nodal was a special guest during Aguilar, her famous father Pepe Aguilar and brother Leonardo Aguilar’s joint tour, “Jaripeo Sin Fronteras,”  in 2018.

July 2019: They performed at Premios Juventud

They also performed together at the 2019 Premios Juventud at Watsco Center on July 18, 2019 in Coral Gables, Florida.

November 2020: They release 'Dime Cómo Quieres'

In late 2020, the singers released their first collaboration, the song “Dime Cómo Quieres.” 

The song is about a guy who falls in love with a girl, but she isn't impressed by his romantic gestures.

“I couldn’t stop laughing while recording my part. When you record a duet well you have that human interaction and a lot of your facial expressions are a reaction to what the other person is doing,” Aguilar told Billboard when they released the music video. “But here, I was singing to a green screen and a guy from our production team who pretended to be Nodal.”

February 2022: They perform together again at Premio Lo Nuestro

The singers reunited in February 2022 when they were part of a Vicente Fernandez tribute at Premio Lo Nuestro. The pair sang alongside Grupo Firme singer Eduin Caz, David Bisbal, AB Luna and Camilo.

May 2024: Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar perform together

Days after announcing his separation from Cazzu, Nodal performed at the Arena Monterrey in Mexico. Aguilar was among the special guests that night and joined Nodal to sing their song “Dime Cómo Quieres,” according to Hola USA.

June 2024: They confirm their relationship and show PDA

On June 10, the pair released a joint statement confirming their relationship.

“It is not a new relationship; it’s the continuation of a story that life made us pause so we could grow and miss each other. Because when we let go, we returned even closer,” Nodal and Aguilar told Hola! USA .

The following day, on June 11, Nodal also addressed his and Aguilar's relationship — and infidelity rumors — in an Instagram video . Saying he had nothing but love for his ex, Cazzu, and their daughter, he said he was in a new relationship with a woman he loves.

“Now I find myself living a precious experience with a woman I love,” Nodal said. “We are enjoying it, we are living the experience.”

That same night, during Nodal’s concert at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Aguilar was a surprise guest. The duo sang her famous father Pepe Aguilar’s song “Por Mujeres Como Tu,” before singing their song “Dime Cómo Quieres.” 

In video obtained by Hoy Dia , the singers are seen kissing on stage and Aguilar calling him “my boyfriend” in Spanish.
