The Outdoor Reclining Hammock Chair has been a New Zealand iconic favourite since 1997, sometimes referred to as a Hanging Chair, Swing Chair, or Swing Seat. Hammock World’s All Weather Hammock Chairs are designed and developed for outside living, and are fully weather-resistant against mildew and rot. Our Outdoor Hammocks are also known as Mayan Silk Hammocks - woven with the strongest and most UV resistant yarn available.

Our Hammocks are custom-made by the Indigenous Maya of Central America. Adult artisans in a cottage industry environment hand-craft our hammocks to our fibre and colour specification using a traditional weaving technique.

The World's most Comfortable Hammock Cushion consists of an inner and Pillow covered with superyacht quality soft Sunbrella® furniture fabric and includes a 5-year All Weather Warranty . Sunbrella® fabric resists mildew, rot, fading and chlorine stains - poolside colours stay bright and vibrant after many years exposure to sun, salt and rain.

Sunbrella® fabric is breathable. Most rainwater will 'bead' and run off, allowing the fabric and inner fill to 'quick dry'. The Cushion fill is a high-loft bonded polyester, which does not absorb water and will not mildew or rot.

Available with 1200mm wide Spreader Bar made in New Zealand. Includes Marine Grade ‘316’ (rust-free) Stainless swivel snap-hook, with sufficient 8mm Polyester rope to suspend from a height of 2.5m.
