See inside the $1.5 million luxury tour buses celebrities like Drake and Doja Cat use

  • Dreamliner Luxury Coaches builds plush homes on wheels for touring A-list musicians and their crew.
  • The company says it rents its 190 luxury tour buses to musicians like Drake, Doja Cat, and Olivia Rodrigo.
  • Rent for a full-service artist bus — a more than $1.5 million vehicle — starts at $50,000 a month.

Insider Today

Your favorite musicians probably all use a company you've probably never heard of: Dreamliner Luxury Coaches .

Going on tour involves more than just moving a musician from one city to the next. This is where Dreamliner comes in. The Nashville, Tennessee-based company is no typical bus operator like The Jet or Greyhound. Instead, its bread and butter is providing touring A-list musicians and their crew with luxury hotel rooms on wheels.

You'll definitely recognize some of Dreamliner's clients

The company's genesis can be traced back to the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, founder Rich Thomson purchased 12 tour buses from an individual who needed to get out of a personal guarantee. Three years and the acquisition of two more coach operators later, the company now runs a fleet of 190 buses and flexes a Rolodex of celebrity clients like Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA.

Country musicians — think the likes of Kenny Chesney and Chris Stapleton — rent these coaches annually, Jeremy Maul, Dreamliner's CEO, told Insider. He says he's also helped with all of The Weeknd's tours. According to Maul, even Taylor Swift's team has sought support from Dreamliner, although the singer has been known to travel in her private jets instead.

"We're the bus company you call when you've made it," Maul said, adding that about 95% of its clients are musicians. "We work with the big runs like the Beyoncés and the Zach Bryans."

Related stories

Besides these celebrities, the company also has corporate clients that will rent for events like meetings and corporate trips. These luxury hotel rooms on wheels are so popular, Thomson says Dreamliner's fleet is on the road for about 300 days a year with the average tour running for approximately 60 days — or longer if it's a country artist.

What it takes to build a fleet of $1.5 million buses

Dreamliner's 190 buses include different layouts like crew, star, and executive. The latter is geared towards corporate clients while "stars" are designed for musicians. The typical "crew" bus — for travelers who support the main act — can accommodate up to 12 people.

For an average arena tour, an artists' team will rent between 10 to 15 buses. For stadium runs like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, expect 15 to 20.

To build the mobile hotel rooms , Dreamliner typically acquires bus shells with only a dashboard, driver's seat, and steering wheel.

At the company's facilities in Nashville and Fontana, California, these bare-bone vehicles are then outfitted with plush amenities like mattresses with 900-thread-count sheets and bathrooms with showers.

Additions like Nespresso machines, smart TVs, and Le Labo candles create a true luxury feel. Some buses even come with a music studio for artists who want to record on the road.

Dreamliner's CEO says these post-conversion coaches are worth $1.5 million to $2 million each. Rent for one full-service "star" bus starts at $50,000 a month, which includes necessities like a driver, gas, cleaning services, and WiFi.

Following the recent acquisition of Hemphill Brothers, Maul says the company's only competitor is Senator Coaches, which predates Dreamliner. But he says there's a key differentiator between Senator and Dreamliner: The former is focused on massive rock bands like U2 while the latter targets younger artists like Drake and Justin Timberlake.

"We don't have a lot of small entry-level artists," Maul said. "Once you're a bigger band and you're on a larger or year-round tour, that's when you're going to want to work with us."

The luxurious interior of one of the Hemphill Brothers' celebrity campers.

It’s the Park-ed Hyatt.

In light of countless singers canceling their gigs due to the coronavirus , one enterprising Tennessee RV firm has devised a novel way to stay afloat — by renting celebrities’ idle tour buses to the public.

“We had to pivot our business,” said Joey Hemphill, co-owner of Nashville’s Hemphill Brothers, which has been servicing Tinseltown’s travel needs for 40 years. Unfortunately, business suffered badly beginning in mid-March with stars such as Post Malone and Cher returning home after renting nearly a dozen vehicles each, Insider reports.

Now, for $2,000 a night, non-celebs can stay inside one of the hundred-plus luxury campers that formerly transported the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Lady Gaga and even Oprah to their various shows.

Naturally, 2 grand to sleep in a trailer — no matter who used it — might sound steep. However, these million-dollar mobile mansions come with a plethora of upmarket amenities, including six bunks plus a queen bed in the rear, a fully-equipped kitchen, entertainment systems and a bathroom with a shower. Doors, windows and pop-outs can all be operated electronically.

“This is a rolling five-star hotel on wheels,” said Trent Hemphill, whose company has won the National Association of Music Merchants’ Parnelli award for Coach Company of the Year eight times, per its site. Not only that but each bus “is extremely custom, and no two are the same,” Trent said.

If that didn’t pamper the public enough, Hemphill Brothers also offers tailor-made trips — which include a driver — to anywhere in the continental United States. And travelers don’t need to make a pilgrimage to Nashville to begin their vacation: Their driver will come to them.

To help ensure a coronavirus-free caravan, the drivers are tested and the buses sterilized before each trip. “People can go on road trips to see this great country of ours safely,” said Trent.

The opportunistic duo said the luxury road trips are particularly desirable in light of COVID-caused travel shutdowns . “Down the road, it will open up, and music will be back, and people may feel safe to fly to Europe again,” said Trent, “but right now, it’s this unique opportunity.”

New York (Taylor's Version): This NYC Walking Tour Is A Must For Any Swiftie

Swift at Madison Square Garden

Welcome to New York, it's been waiting for you, Swifties. Dubbed one of the best U.S. destinations for music lovers , New York is a must-visit locale for anyone who loves to groove. Home to Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, and plenty of small concert venues, the Big Apple is a haven for music heavyweights like Jay Z, Beyoncé, and, of course, Taylor Swift. No wonder this heady city is included on our ultimate Taylor Swift road trip . Taylor Swift says her move to the Big Apple in 2014 inspired "1989," her first pop album. Since then, the megastar has made NYC into one of her home bases (actually, she owns four homes here), and we've got the perfect New York (Taylor's Version) walking tour to help you follow in her glitter boot footsteps.

Want to have the "Best Day?" Embark on our guided excursion to some of Taylor's favorite haunts — restaurants, bars, and hotels included. From her former Cornelia Street apartment to the leafy High Line to the Housing Works Bookstore, these places are prime spots to visit for Swifties. If some of them seem familiar, it's probably because they are. Many of these destinations have been either incessantly photographed by paparazzi trailing the Eras Tour singer or filmed in one of her music videos. This New York City walking tour is a must for any Swiftie.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Famed home of the fascinating Met Gala, The Metropolitan Museum of Art is purportedly where Taylor Swift met her former lover, Joe Alwyn. The main clue is found in the lyrics, "Flashback when you met me, your buzzed cut and my hair bleached," in the song "Dress." In May 2016, Swift attended the Gala with a much-talked-about bleached blond bob while Joe Alwyn sported a buzz cut. While you won't likely receive an invite to the big fundraising costume event, The MET, as it's referred to locally, is a New York museum you'll want to visit , Swiftie or not.

Inside this New York landmark, you'll find everything from a remarkable 10th-century B.C. Egyptian Temple (the Temple of Dendur) to Van Gogh's captivating "Self-Portrait With a Straw Hat."  It's closed on Wednesdays, so time your visit right. Also, tickets aren't cheap (they cost $30 for an adult), so plan to stay a while to make the most of your trip.  Feel free to nip into Central Park when you've finished exploring the museum. In true Taylor Swift style, its stone bridges and sparkling lake are about as romantic as you can get. Plus, this was the site of Swift's impromptu concert in 2010. Backed by an orchestra, the singer played a grand piano in the middle of the park to promote her new (at the time) album, "Speak Now."

Radio City Music Hall

Radio City Music Hall is one of the most iconic attractions in New York City, and it's located a 40-minute walk southwest of the Met. You could take the M3 bus from East 80th Street to 50th Street to save some steps. This museum is also the site of the infamous moment when Kanye West crashed the stage, interrupting Taylor's acceptance speech for winning "Best Female Video" at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Despite the moment's horror, Taylor went on (at the age of only 19) to perform her winning song, "You Belong With Me," in unconventional venues. According to MTV News , Swift said, "I think it could be really cool if it was unlike anything I've ever done at an awards show," when describing her plans for the performance. She sang the song while busking at the 42nd Street Bryant Park subway station, dancing on the F Train, and screaming "I love New York" atop a yellow cab in front of Radio City Music Hall.

While you probably won't see Taylor Swift perform here, that doesn't mean you won't be entertained. Visit during the holiday season to see the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes or catch a concert in the spring and summer. If you have time to spare, book a 60-minute guided tour . Tickets cost $33 per adult and include a glimpse at the famous auditorium and a peek into the Roxy Suite, a secret apartment inside the venue.

The Empire State Building

It's hard to find a more iconic view than the one from atop the Empire State Building, which you can reach in 21 minutes by heading southwest from Radio City Music Hall. Ever seen "Sleepless in Seattle?" How about "King Kong" or "Elf?" These are just a few of the noteworthy films that feature this landmark and its stunning vistas. The fourth tallest and most photographed of New York's skyscrapers, this is also one of  the city's most popular tourist attractions . Swifties, hold on to your friendship bracelets because this breezy spot was also the location of Taylor's premier performance of "Shake it Off." She announced the release of her "1989" album right here and posed for photos on the building's VIP, 103rd Floor Observatory. The main, open-air observation deck is located on the 86th floor and costs $44 for an adult to visit. Tack on a visit to the 102nd-floor deck for $79.

On September 27, 2023, the Empire State Building's official X account posted an image of the attraction's top floors lighted in red and white to pay homage to Taylor Swift's romance with American football star Travis Kelce. It also alluded to a now-famous term coined by the @tswifterastour X account , describing the singer's snack at a Chief's game, "Ketchup and seemingly ranch."

The High Line

Walking the High Line is one of the most refreshing and interesting things to do in New York City, and it's easy to reach by heading northwest for about 25 minutes on West 33rd and 30th Streets. An elevated park developed on a former railway track, this NYC landmark runs 1.45 miles from near "the Vessel" in Hudson Yards south to Gansevoort Street in the trendy Meatpacking District. According to her "Cardigan" lyrics, "I knew you, your heartbeat on the High line, Once in twenty lifetimes," Taylor Swift has likely been among the many romantics strolling the garden-lined walkway with their loves.

Known for its  unique city views of the Hudson River, neighboring buildings, and colorful murals, the High Line is an amorous place to visit in New York. Plus, it's free, which makes this a much more budget-friendly way to see New York's best views than a trip up the Empire State Building or to the Top of The Rock (a.k.a. Rockefeller Center). Our favorite thing to do when wandering this open-air museum is grab an ice cream or other sweet treat from a local vendor, ogle the frequently changing art installations, and stop to watch pedestrians while sitting in the "amphitheater" at the 10th Avenue Square & Overlook. If you're lucky, you may even catch a live public performance. It may not be an Era Tour concert venue, but we promise you won't forget your experience here.

Bus Stop Cafe

Swifties have long believed that the Bus Stop Cafe is the "bus stop" referred to in the lyrics of Taylor Swift's "The 1." In case you don't remember them, here's a refresher — "I thought I saw you at the bus stop, I didn't though." While Taylor herself has never confirmed this, you can't go wrong with enjoying a meal, especially brunch, at this adorable restaurant located at the corner of Hudson and Bethune Streets in the West Village. To get here, follow Horatio Street and Hudson Street for about four minutes.

A quick, 10-minute walk from Swift's former Cornelia Street home and close to the former home of her good friend Karlie Kloss, this family-run restaurant has been operating here since 1995. During Prohibition, the building was run as a speakeasy. Today, guests can munch on fried calamari or a house-made oatmeal banana flaxseed sandwich on focaccia bread. They also serve great cocktails like a refreshing pomegranate mimosa and mango chili margarita.

The Waverly Inn and Garden

According to PageSix , Taylor Swift is a frequent diner at The Waverly Inn and Garden , another iconic West Village eatery, which can be reached in five minutes by walking west along Bank Street. One of her most widely photographed dates at this tasty spot involved a certain Kansas City Chiefs tight end. Many photos of the two emerging from this swanky, celeb-infused hot spot were splashed on magazine and web pages across the globe. While opened as a somewhat private dinner club by former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter in 2006,  New York Magazine claims the restaurant has become more of a "reliable neighborhood joint" — if you consider a $54 iron skillet of sea scallops "neighborhoody," that is.

Don't let the price tag throw you off; this restaurant's dishes are moreish, and the ambiance is elegant and cozy, not to mention very romantic. Plus, you might spot an A-lister or two if you're lucky. With such a charming locale (the restaurant is housed in two brownstones), it is easy to see why Taylor and her friends (she's been spotted here with Cara Delevingne, Dakota Johnson, Lorde, and Jack Antonoff) enjoy eating here. If you're hoping to grab a bite at this beloved spot, be sure to book dinner reservations well in advance (we're talking months), as it's a sought-after eatery with very little seating.

If you couldn't get into The Waverly Inn and Garden or balked at the exorbitant price tag, head to one of Taylor's other favorite restaurants, nearby Via Carota . Located seven minutes southwest at 51 Grove Street, this Italian trattoria is a four-minute walk from Taylor's former Cornelia Street pad. Be warned, it's so popular there's often a line around the block. While delicious food is the major pull (reviewers rave about the tonnarelli cacio pepe), it's the restaurant's fame as a celebrity haven and its authentic Italian ambiance that entice people to wait it out until they get a table. Entreés will still run you around $28, but considering this is New York, that's not such a bad price, especially with the high quality of food on offer.

Yelp users suggest heading to the restaurant at 5 p.m. and putting your name on the waitlist, which could take anywhere from half an hour to three hours. Don't worry; you can head to a nearby bar to while away the time. The restaurant will send a text when your table is ready. Try visiting for a weekday lunch if you're not up to lining up for what could be hours and hours. We're guessing Taylor and her friends don't have to wait for their spot.

Cornelia Street

Walk about four minutes southwest on Grove Street until you hit Cornelia Street. Taylor Swift rented a 5,500-square-foot townhouse at number 23 while her Tribeca apartment was renovated in 2016. According to a New York Vulture interview with the home's owner, David Aldea, Swift loved his "crafty" style and asked if he could leave pretty much everything for her to use while she was there — like towels, furniture, dishes, etc.

The unique building is fronted by large, wooden arched doorways, and though you won't see this on your visit, the inside is home to a swimming pool that is situated in the living room. The "roof" Swift sings about in "Cornelia Street" is also hidden from view and likely refers to a private outdoor area off the main bedroom that boasts a fireplace and artificial grass.

Today, the house (well, the outside of it, anyway) is frequented by Swifties taking selfies and singing verses of "Cornelia Street," Swift's song on the album "Lover." Swift sings about renting "a place on Cornelia Street" and that if her lover ever left her, she wouldn't be able to walk the street again. Speaking of streets, this Greenwich Village neighborhood is hard to beat — great restaurants, cute cafés, and eclectic shops abound.

155 Franklin Street

It will take about 25 minutes to walk southwest to another of Taylor's NYC residences. She bought two neighboring penthouse apartments at 155 Franklin Street for almost $20 million in 2014 and had them renovated to create an enormous space featuring 10 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, and a billiards room, moving into the Cornelia Street house while the work was completed. In 2018, the New York Post reported that Swift purchased another apartment on the same block, this time a second-floor, 3,540-square-foot space for $9.75 million.

Swift also owns the three-story townhouse next door at 153 Franklin Street. She purchased this for $18 million, bringing her property spend on this block up to almost $50 million. According to the same New York Post article, it comes with a "paparazzi-proof garage." While the block itself is pretty unassuming — it's devoid of flashy stores, doorman-clad buildings, and popular restaurants, its location is perfect for someone who doesn't want to be in the limelight every second of the day. It's also super close to plenty of crave-worthy restaurants like Bubby's , which sits around the corner on Hudson Street and has been frequented by Taylor and Lena Dunham. Sarabeth's is another nearby eatery favored by Taylor. She's been spotted there with Karlie Kloss.

Housing Works Bookstore

The next stop on this New York (Taylor's Version) walking tour is a must for any Swiftie. A 22-minute walk east on Franklin Street and north on Broadway, Housing Works Bookstore is both unique and gorgeous. You might recognize this charming shop from the final scene in Taylor Swift's 10-minute, Grammy-winning music video for "All Too Well." It's here, surrounded by bookshelves and intrigued-looking women, that Swift reads her "novel" in the video's conclusion. Not a big reader? This eclectic store is also filled with music and movies, most of which have been donated, and 100% of their profits are gifted to help those affected by and living with HIV/AIDS. There's also a café, making this a perfect spot to enjoy a quiet respite.

According to Homes and Gardens magazine, Swift shot other parts of the popular "All Too Well" video in the Pound Ridge home of her friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. A bit far for a walking tour, this adorable New York State town lies almost 50 miles north of Cornelia Street, near the Connecticut border. You can hop on a train or rent a car to visit.

The Bowery Hotel

Taylor Swift's former long-time love, Joe Alwyn, was part of the creative process on her "Folklore," "Evermore," and "Midnight" albums — he even co-wrote some of the songs. On the credits, Joe used a pseudonym — William Bowery. According to Teen Vogue , many fans believe he chose this last name to honor the site of one of their first dates, the luxe (and super pricey) The Bowery Hotel . But in an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2022, Alwyn claimed he picked the name William for his great-grandfather and Bowery to represent the area he spent a lot of time in when he first moved to New York. Regardless of whether the pseudonym was tied to Taylor, it's known that the two enjoyed tasty food and drinks in this swanky locale, which lies a mere five-minute walk northeast of the Housing Works Bookstore.

While rooms cost anywhere from $655 to over $1,200 per night, guests can visit the hotel's fab Italian restaurant, Gemma , for a fraction of the price. Homemade Honeynut Ravioli will run you about $25, and a NY Strip Steak is $52. Reviewers on Yelp love the Torta di Cioccolato for dessert. Not cheap, but again, this is New York! And the elegant, rustic atmosphere is hard to beat.

Lovers of Today Bar

Swifties have taken to  Reddit to discuss their thoughts on the lyrics to "Delicate," and their arguments are quite convincing. According to these mega fans, the "dive bar on the East Side" mentioned in this "Reputation" song is the Lovers of Today Cocktail Bar at 132 1/2 East 7th Street. Open from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. daily, cocktails cost $16, which is pretty reasonable for this part of the city. And they come with super fun names like Hong Kong Garden, Another Girl Another Planet, Satellite of Love, and Fan Mail.

Small and intimate,  Yelp reviewers recommend this cozy spot for a date night. Looking to save a few bucks? Visit during Happy Hour, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Specialty Cocktails cost $9 during this time. While you won't likely rub elbows with Taylor while waiting for an Astral Plane, she and Joe Alwyn have been seen here in the past. To get here from The Bowery Hotel, it will take 13 minutes of walking northeast along East 3rd Street and 1st Avenue.

Coney Island

While not technically in New York, it's easy to reach Brooklyn's Coney Island by train from the city, which is why this has been deemed a summer playground for New Yorkers for years. In her song "Coney Island," Taylor and The National sing about "the fast times, the bright lights, the merry-go." This pretty much sums up Coney Island and its Luna Park amusement park. A song about a doomed relationship and the regrets that follow its breakup, this track captures some of the feels of this super buzzy, always interesting, and sometimes seedy beach town.

Here, you'll find rollercoasters, hang gliders, and the B&B Carousell that dates to 1906. Coney Island also boasts close to 3 miles of beaches, so you should pack a towel if you plan to visit in summer, which is the busiest and most ideal time to schedule a trip to this fun seaside spot. Don't miss a walk along the historic boardwalk, which opened in 1923. It stretches for just under 3 miles, running from W 37th Street to Corbin Place. Plus, you'll find benches like the one referred to in Swift's song lyrics, "And I'm sitting on a bench in Coney Island, Wondering, where did my baby go?"

'In March, when Covid-19 hit, all our 115 custom coaches came home due to concerts being abruptly cancelled.

'With the current travel conditions and the fact that artists are still not performing on stages for concerts, Hemphill Brothers had a unique opportunity to offer our custom-built luxury coaches and drivers to the public for travel. This is something we have never done before.

'Travelers can bring their bicycles, sand chairs, golf carts, golf clubs, fishing poles and whatever else they might need to enjoy their vacation and have fun.

Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour is wrecking all sorts of records. To celebrate, she’s making sure that everyone involved with the show’s making is happy and paid well for their contributions, granting million dollar bonuses to her entire crew.

Swift has been granting $100,000 bonuses to the bus drivers charged with transporting her sound and stage equipment all over the country, reports TMZ . Swift reportedly has around 50 drivers on her tour, a sum that adds up to around $5 million.

Swift has also granted juicy bonuses to the entire crew working on the show, including dancers, musicians, people that work in catering, and more. These bonuses total up to around 55 million dollars, reports PEOPLE .

Swift’s tour began in April of this year, in Arizona, and has gradually moved over the entire country. Her recent stop in Seattle produced such excitement that crowds produced enough seismic activity that it was tracked as a 2.3 magnitude earthquake. According to Poll Star, The Eras Tour has grossed over $300 million. CBS News reports that the tour could help add $5 billion to worldwide economy.

Swift is currently entering her last string of shows in the United States, with six shows scheduled in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium. She’ll be bringing The Eras Tour to other continents, with stops scheduled in Europe, Asia, and Australia. She’ll also be making her first ever tour shows in Latin America, having dates scheduled in cities in Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina.

Inside Taylor Swift’s Cozy L.A. Home and How to Get the Look

By Brooke Bobb

home items

We’ve seen the inner workings of the life of Vogue ’s May cover star , Taylor Swift . After all, she’s definitely not shy about posting photos of her baking parties and romantic vacations with a certain DJ to her social media feeds, but Swift has managed to keep the inside of her L.A. home relatively private, until now. The pop star recently opened her doors to Vogue ’s 73 Questions cameras, spitting out the clever, quick-fire answers to random inquiries while walking through her chic, cozy bungalow.

The Beverly Hills home is a mash-up of vintage country à la Nashville and quirky touches like arched doorways, patterned wallpaper, antique chandeliers and mirrors, a beautiful old wooden piano, and cat ceramics on shelves lined with classic books and her favorite Byredo candles. There’s always a Scrabble board nearby, and Swift also likes to keep her MTV Moonmen in odd places in the kitchen (note the one bookending the Nespresso machine). Outside, there’s a rustic terrace area, with charming hanging light fixtures and lanterns, as well as a decorated bike taxi parked near the lawn.

T.Swift has clearly filled her digs with the things she loves, seemingly all thrown together without much thought but with that same unassuming, accidental charm she’s become so famous for. To inject some effortless style into your own home, here are 15 items inspired by the dwelling of everyone’s favorite girl.

Taylor Swift talks Googling herself, which celebrity's closet she’d raid, and the bravest thing she’s ever done:

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour book looks: See the beautiful book covers that scream Swift

taylor swift tour bus interior

If your TikTok feed is anything like ours, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has taken over your life. We set our watches to alert us when it’s secret song time , we text our Swifties group chat which outfits she’s wearing in any given show and of course we’ve hosted a friendship-bracelet-making night.

And as book lovers, we figured the best thing to do with all of this energy and devotion… was to match book covers to Taylor’s different Eras costumes! (Please note, we’re just going for the covers here, not the actual content of the book.)

If you have tickets to a later show date and are (somehow) avoiding tour spoilers, consider yourself warned.

' Lover' era: 'Song of Silver, Flame Like Night' by Amélie Wen Zhao

You see the clock countdown on the screen. You hear a soft, repeated “it’s been a long time coming” –– and you know you’re about to have the best night of your life.

Up first in the Eras Tour is Taylor Swift’s 'Lover' era, in which Taylor emerges from a cloudlike petal in this gorgeous custom Atelier Versace bodysuit adorned with reflective blue, pink and silver jewels.

These jewels perfectly match the cover of Amélie Wen Zhao’s "Song of Silver, Flame Like Night," a YA fantasy inspired by the mythology and folklore of ancient China. In this story, one girl must find out the secrets of her nation’s past — and unveil the demons that sleep in its center.

' Fearless' era: 'Lies We Sing to the Sea' by Sarah Underwood

Taylor goes back in time to her Grammy-award winning 'Fearless' era, with hand hearts, twirls and country twang. And yes, she’s ready to dance in a storm in this Roberto Cavalli gold dress.

The fringe of this dress goes swimmingly with the golden waves featured on the cover of Sarah Underwood’s Sapphic Greek mythological fantasy "Lies We Sing to the Sea." If you’re a fan of "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller or "Lore" by Alexandra Bracken, check this title out.

' Evermore' era: 'Painted Devils' by Margaret Owen

Ethereal, witchy and so divine, the 'Evermore' era is next up! In a corseted and beaded yellow Etro dress, Taylor gives an homage to her opera-singing grandmother and sings fan-favorite "Champagne Problems" at the piano before a minutes-long break for applause.

We love how cottage-core this dress is, and the vibes and detailing go hand-in-hand with Margaret Owen’s "Painted Devils." In this much-awaited sequel to "Little Thieves," we revisit Vanja, the adopted daughter of Death and Fortune as she accidentally starts a cult, much like intro to the "Evermore" set of the show! This is a classic-feeling fairy tale that will put you in the headspace for a full listen of your "Evermore" vinyl.

' Reputation' era: 'Eclipse' by Stephenie Meyer

Are you ready for it? The 'Reputation' era is bombastic, bold, and absolutely iconic –– just look at this Roberto Cavalli catsuit!

Because "Reputation" is so unforgettable and also because we couldn’t get this image out of our heads from the moment we saw it, we think "Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyer is the best book look to go with it.

Don’t blame us, this pair is perfection.

  • "Eclipse" for $14 at Amazon
  • "Eclipse" for $16 at Bookshop.org

' Speak Now' era: 'Foul Lady Fortune' by Chloe Gong

We are so enchanted to meet you… and also to have "Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)" in our hands soon. We were all shocked that the "Speak Now" set of the Eras tour is only one song long, but what a song it is! And Taylor looks absolutely enchanting in this Nicole + Felicia ball gown.

"Foul Lady Fortune" by Chloe Gong is not only an amazing color match for this dress, but there's also a trail of smoke emerging from the bottle on the cover, much like the smoke Taylor disappears into at the end of the song. Plus, for all the longtime Swifties, doesn’t the bottle remind you of the Wonderstruck perfume from the "Speak Now" era?

  • "Foul Lady Fortune" for $18 at Amazon
  • "Foul Lady Fortune" for $24 at Bookshop.org

' Red' era: 'A Fire Endless' by Rebecca Ross

Loving him was red, burning red… a fire endless, you might say. We are obsessed with this epic Ashish romper and matching coat that Taylor wears for all 10 minutes of "All Too Well" during the "Red" set of the Eras Tour.

We love how the pop of the guitar puts the focus on the harp on the cover of Rebecca Ross’ "A Fire Endless," the sequel to her adult fantasy "A River Enchanted."

This duology makes a great comfort read for rainy days. It's inspired by Scottish folktales and feels like a modern classic.

  • "A Fire Endless" for $19 at Amazon
  • "A Fire Endless" for $19 at Bookshop.org

' Folklore' era: 'The Great Transition' by Nick Fuller Googins

Moody, wistful and flowing, Taylor’s "Folklore" set features some of her most show-stopping vocals, especially when she kneels on the ground to belt "Illicit Affairs" in this bohemian-inspired Alberta Ferretti dress.

The rippling fabric reminds us of water and sky, so "The Great Transition" by Nick Fuller Googins is a gorgeous fit. This is a climate utopia novel for fans of Emily St. John Mandel following a family navigating crisis –– it comes out in August, so preorder your copy!'

  • "The Great Transition" for $25 at Amazon
  • "The Great Transition" for $26 at Bookshop.org

' 1989' era: 'Revelle' by Lyssa Mia Smith

Swift is that girl in this Roberto Cavalli top and skirt. At first glance this set looks monochromatic, but up close the beading pattern reveals a complicated, kaleidoscope-like pattern.

Welcome to New York! "Revelle" by Lyssa Mia Smith couldn’t be a better fit for this outfit if it tried. This magical YA fantasy is inspired by Moulin Rouge but set in Prohibition-era New York City.

Oh, Taylor, we wish you would tell us when "1989 (Taylor’s Version)" is on its way!

  • "Revelle" for $20 at Amazon
  • "Revelle" for $19 at Bookshop.org

' Midnights' era: 'Glitterland' by Alexis Hall

Meet her at midnight! And by the "Midnights: set of the Eras Tour, it really is close to midnight! To close out her epic three and a half hour show, Taylor shimmers in this Oscar de la Renta bodysuit.

What could be a better fit for our bejeweled queen than "Glitterland" by Alexis Hall ? This sparkling LGBTQ romance follows Ash Winters, a former literary darling turned pulpy crime-fiction writer and Darian Taylor, an Essex-lad who is flashy and full of life. Like Taylor’s "Midnights" album, this story focuses on mental health, specifically depression, and we loved watching their love unfold. Read this romance expecting plenty of mirror balls!

Taylor Swift Has Received More Than 250 Custom Pairs of Louboutins for the Eras Tour

Look what you made her wear.

Taylor Swift performs at the Eras Tour wearing a pair of custom Louboutin boots

When Taylor Swift returns to the Eras Tour stage in Lisbon, Portugal, this weekend, there's no question she'll be dancing through the three-hour setlist in her favorite shoe brand. Swift has worn what looks like an endless collection of custom Christian Louboutin shoes on every leg of the 152-stop tour so far, with pairs color-coordinated to each era's outfit . Lover gets ombré glitter, knee-high boots; Red comes with chunky brogues; Midnights comes with stiletto boots sharp enough to kill a man, and so on.

In a new interview, the designer revealed just how many shoes it takes to outfit Swift for a concert spanning eleven original albums and 46 songs. Hint: It's in the hundreds.

Taylor Swift performs onstage at the Eras Tour wearing a white vivienne westwood dress and custom louboutin boots

Adding a set for The Tortured Poets Department to the Eras Tour, Swift also added custom Christian Louboutin shoes with a Victorian design.

Christian Louboutin told Vogue he has crafted more than 250 custom shoes for Swift's Eras Tour. That's slightly less than a pair per song in her 274-tune catalog. 60 of those sparkling new shoes were created specifically for the European leg of the tour, which started in Paris, France, earlier this month.

Are Louboutins to Taylor Swift what Manolos are to Carrie Bradshaw (that is, a shoe she can't have enough of)? Yes and no. In Swift's case, there's actually an element of practicality in the size of her collection. “When working for performers, it’s better to start with a very large number of styles that will end up in a selection of designs which seem the best for the stage,” Mr. Louboutin explained.

Taylor Swift onstage at the eras tour wearing custom louboutin boots

For her Lover set, Swift has worn a series of Louboutin boots with ombré crystal detailing.

Performing a marathon three-hour setlist can also do serious damage to one's shoes. (When Swift sings that she's in "stilettos for miles" on the track "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," she's not exaggerating.) The size and scope of her Louboutin collection likely reflects swaps and replacements for footwear that takes a beating night after night onstage.

Louboutin started seriously working with Swift and her stylist, Joseph Cassell , for 2018's Reputation tour. The designer told Vogue he considers the shoes as a finishing touch to her costumes—and they're ultimately in the service of supporting her through her setlist while also looking good.

"Performing requires a lot of skill and concentration, so whatever costume or shoes you're wearing must not become a distraction,” the designer said. “They need to disappear from your thoughts, allowing your voice to be the only instrument that matters, ensuring you give your best performance and convey emotion to the audience staring at you.”

In the 1989 set, Swift wears short, glittery boots to coordinate with her skater skirt and ombré crop top.

The European leg's introduction of two entirely new styles for The Tortured Poets Department —a lace-up Victorian boot and a silver metallic sandal heel—might not be the end of Swift's Louboutin tour collection. "She also likes to entertain her audience and surprise them, date after date," the designer said. "So, there might be more to come…”

Liverpool to Transform Into ‘Taylor Town' Ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Shows

So long, Liverpool. Ahead of Taylor Swift ‘s upcoming Eras Tour shows, the English city is now known as "Taylor Town."

The city is currently in the process of unveiling a temporary makeover to prepare for the pop star's three performances slated for June 13-15 at Anfield Stadium, starting with the tailored - or should we say, Tay-lored - name change. Plus, local creatives are designing 11 individual art installations inspired by each of Swift's studio albums to form a "Taylor Town Trail," including a playable moss-covered grand piano representing Evermore , a "red room" encapsulating Red and a Fearless mural based on the singer's lucky number, 13.

Banners spelling out "Taylor" have also already gone up across the front of St. George's Hall in the center of town, as captured in photos from local Swifties.

"One of the biggest stars on the planet is coming to the birthplace of pop," reads a notice on the Liverpool City Council website . "And to mark this musical moment for the ages, there are plans in place to give Swifties a proper scouse welcome."

The city is also planning a series of ticketed craft workshops - aka Liverpool Loves Taylor (Craft Version) - where fans can make origami pieces that will be added to one of the 11 main art installations. Participants will also be able to work on homemade Swif-tee shirts, collages and cupcakes inspired by the "Anti-Hero" singer.

The University of Liverpool is getting involved, too, by hosting a free "Tay Day" symposium for academics, students and fans to "unpack the cultural phenomenon that is Taylor Swift," according to the city council's notice. "The event will include critical karaoke sessions, where researchers perform their findings to some of Taylor's biggest hits and a series of interactive talks on subjects including her song lyrics, her award-winning albums and her place in feminism and the LGBTQ+ community."

Liverpool is just the latest Eras Tour locale to go all out ahead of Swift's arrival. For instance, Glendale, Ariz., temporarily changed its name to "Swift City" in lieu of the 14-time Grammy winner's kickoff show there in spring 2023, while Rio de Janeiro projected the image of a Taylor-themed T-shirt onto its iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in November.

New Taylor Swift exhibit in NYC allows fans to experience all eras

WABC logo

HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan (WABC) -- Taylor Swift has been breaking records and delighting fans on the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour, a splashy celebration of her career and new releases since the pandemic.

It's become a notoriously tough ticket to get. But even if you couldn't go to Swift's concert, you may still be in your costume era .

On the second floor of the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York City, fans can catch glimpses of Swift's "eras" for much cheaper. "Taylor Swift: Storyteller," features dozens of costumes and objects spanning her music videos, tours and awards show performances - from the lace gown she wore when performing "All Too Well" on the Red Tour to the "key to the castle" featured in the video for "Bejeweled."

The goal, museum director Tim Rodgers said, was to explore how Swift uses clothing and props to tell stories - almost as much as she does lyrics. "It's different than stars that use costumes or fashion in order to enhance themselves," Rodgers said. "Taylor Swift is using costumes and props like a vocabulary."

Rodgers said Swift's team came to MAD with the idea because of another exhibit they hosted - "Queer Maximalism X Machine Dazzle" - featuring the work of artist, performer and costume designer Matthew Flower, also known as Machine Dazzle. "It was totally unexpected," Rodgers said.

"Taylor Swift: Storyteller" opened ahead of Swift's three-night stop nearby at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. Like her concerts, the collection walks visitors through her genre- and decade-spanning career. There's the crystal-encrusted guitar she used when performing her 2010 album "Speak Now," a hooded bodysuit she wore during her Reputation Stadium Tour, the striped T-shirt she wore in a 2020 photoshoot for "folklore."

"She's a visual storyteller. Everything she does ... it feels very intentional," said Teresa Bocalan, a fan visiting the museum. "So it's really cool to see those outfits up close."

The exhibit is accompanied by a playlist of Swift's music videos - including her short film for the 10 minute version of "All Too Well" - which are projected on screens around the room. Lyrics scrawled in Swift's handwriting adorn key walls in the space.

But perhaps the centerpiece of it all is a more recent piece of Swift's lore: the flowing red wedding dress she wore in the 2021 video for "I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version) (From the Vault)," directed by Blake Lively and co-starring Miles Teller. The song, featuring Chris Stapleton, was an addition to the re-released version of her 2012 album "Red." Adorned with tulle roses, the dress was custom made for Swift by Nicole + Felicia Couture.

In the video, the red gown is a showstopper - or, more literally, a wedding stopper.

In the exhibit, it seems to hold the same power.

"We had people come in and look at that red wedding dress over there and literally start to cry," Rodgers said of the exhibit's opening weekend. "It is, for a lot of people, almost like a religious experience to see this clothing that Taylor once wore."

"I'm also super excited to see the 'I Bet You Think About Me' dress over there," said Greta Myers, a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology. "We haven't looked at it yet. I'm saving it."

A lot of fans have bad blood with Ticketmaster , but Swifties can visit the exhibit through September 4.

A seven-foot butterfly installation, a regal throne and themed murals are among the artworks being installed in Liverpool in celebration of Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour.

The city centre will be transformed from Beatlemania to Taylor Town as more than 150,000 Swifties descend on the city for the superstar’s sold-out shows at Anfield Stadium.

11 art installations will be dotted across the city, each inspired by the studio albums from her back catalogue.

In celebration of her self-titled debut album, which featured butterflies on the cover art, a seven-foot butterfly which fans can take photos by is being installed.

Her second album Fearless is being honoured with a colourful mural created by artist Molly Mural, while her purple-themed third record Speak Now will be marked with a lilac backdrop where fans can get their picture taken as if they are “living the popstar life”.

Swifties will be able to immerse themselves in a red room featuring giant red lips to celebrate her Red album before putting their heads in the clouds at the 1989-inspired installation which features hand-crafted seagulls.

They will also be able to channel her fierce Reputation era by taking a seat in a regal throne surrounded by snakes and skulls while the section dedicated to her Lover album will promote inclusivity with candy canes, rainbows and flamingo.

Her move to softer sounds on her eighth album Folklore will be honoured with a moss-covered grand piano which fans can play, while its sister album Evermore is being marked with a swing bench back-dropped by autumnal florals.

Fans will also be able to “take a seat inside the witching hour” at the installation inspired by her record-breaking 10th album Midnights.

Her latest release, The Tortured Poets Department, will be celebrated by a giant black and white mural where Swifties will be able to seek out Easter eggs from within the album.

Liverpool City Council’s Culture Liverpool team partnered with creative social enterprise Make CIC and a host of artists and makers from across the region to curate the installations.

The trail forms part of the city’s Liverpool Loves campaign, which aims for the city to come together for the gigs which will take place between 13-15 June.

Liverpool City Council’s director for culture, Claire McColgan, said: “The Taylor Town Trail is going to put Swifties in pure pop heaven.

"And even if you haven’t got a ticket to one of the concerts, it’s just going to be an unforgettable experience.

“As everyone saw with Eurovision last year, Liverpool knows how to embrace an event and transform it into something else entirely. We Scousify and then let it fly.”

She also thanked the artists and teams who have created the experience as she reflected on the boost to the city’s economy.

Ms McColgan added: “This is all about using that Team Liverpool approach which works so well and has a tangible impact when it comes to boosting the local economy and supporting local businesses.“

"Even though Taylor may only be in town for a matter of days, we hope the sector feels the impact for months to come.”

The Taylor Town Trail will run from June 8-16.
