There are more feminine designs such as rose gold luggage or more masculine options such as Darth Vader embossed on a black suitcase. Whatever you are looking for, I am confident you will find a Disney design you will like in the luggage featured above.

Sizes & Space

Next up is choosing the size suitcase you want and this comes down to whether you want a carry-on or a suitcase you are going to check in.

Carry-ons come in a range of sizes from 18 to 22 inches and I would always suggest going for a 21-inch case as it is the ideal balance between packing space and airline regulations.

If you want Disney luggage you can check in, think about your personal needs. How much stuff do you light to travel with? Do you pack light or do you like lots of options?

For those of you who pack light, a 25-inch suitcase is ideal. If you want to take a lot of things with you or go on long trips often, a 29-inch case might suit you best.

Hard or Soft Shell

All the Disney luggage I chose for this article comes with either 2 or 4 wheels along with a retractable handle and a side handle. This makes it super easy to tow your suitcase around the airport and to and from home during your travels.

I would highly recommend having a suitcase with 4 wheels as they are much easier to roll around. Make sure the wheels are of high quality though as when one fails, dragging your suitcase around becomes rather frustrating.

Internal Organization

Being able to pack all your things in different sections neatly makes a world of difference in my eyes, especially when you need to find something quickly.

Durability, Price, and Warranties

Durability, price, and warranties are all connected in the luggage world. Cheaper suitcases are not as durable, more expensive ones last longer and my advice is to buy a suitcase at the top end of your budget for this reason.
