On the heels of their CMT Music Awards collaboration, Little Big Town and Sugarland have announced the “Take Me Home” Tour. Titled after the song they performed on the CMTs — Phil Collins ’ 1985 hit from No Jacket Required — the trek will kick off Oct. 24 in Greenville, South Carolina, and conclude Dec. 13 with a show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Country trio the Castellows will open all dates.

This isn’t the first time the quartet of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Philip Sweet shared the stage with Sugarland, the reunited duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. In 2008, Little Big Town, Sugarland, and Jake Owen performed Dream Academy’s 1985 single “Life in a Northern Town” at the CMT Awards, and LBT would join Sugarland on their Incredible Machine Tour a few years later.

Sugarland Tour Dates 2024 & 2025

Sugarland tour dates info:.

Sugarland tour dates announced! Jennifer Nettles and Christian Bush created a vocal duo with absolutely unheard-of talent that can only be known as Sugarland . After a long hiatus of bringing up babies and testing the waters as solo artists, the pair have now teamed up with Big Machine Records and Little Big Town for a MAJOR comeback album and 2024 tour and fans could NOT be more excited!

Sugarland Tour Dates 2024

“ We’re going on tour, guys! There’s going to be new music and new live shows ,” Nettles told fans during their first interview since the announcement of their return, joking that she could get some free tickets for Bobby Bones to give away to listeners.

Sugarland 2024 Tour Dates

About Sugarland:

The duo went on hiatus in 2013, just two years after a tragic stage collapse before their scheduled set at the Indiana State Fair killed seven people. They have both pursued solo careers, but the question of an eventual Sugarland reunion has always lingered.

Nettles tells Bones that it’s not a big shock to either one of them that they are back together, since “we never closed the door. We never said like, ‘We’re breaking up forever!’ We said, ‘Guys, we’re gonna go do other things.’ So when you don’t close a door, you can walk back through it .” Sugarland made their first live public appearance together in years at the 2017 CMA Awards on Nov. 8, presenting the Vocal Duo of the Year award. It’s an honor they have taken home more than once, and they set the rumor mill spinning once again by speculating about maybe winning it again, saying, “and well, who knows?” They confirmed the rumors on Nov. 9 in a press release that announced new music for 2018. No further details have yet been announced regarding either new music, or cities and dates for Sugarland’s 2018 tour.

Sugarland Tour 2024 | Events & Tickets

Sugarland biography, sugarland faq's.

  • Is Sugarland still together? - Yes! The band took a hiatus to focus on other projects, but never had a real breakup. Instead they are planning a comeback album and tour in 2018!
  • Who started Sugarland? - Sugarland was originally formed by Kristian Bush and Kristen Hall in 2002, with Jennifer Nettles joining on lead vocals in 2003. Kristen Hall left the group in 2005 just as they started achieving commercial success, leading to one of the biggest mysteries in country music. Wide Open Country goes into great detail on what happened behind the scenes.
  • Who was Sugarland's song "Stay" about? - Sugarland’s “Stay” is the first of the duo’s chart-topping songs to solely be written by singer Jennifer Nettles. Although she has never lived the storyline of the song, she knew the subject of betrayal is something everyone could relate to, yet she wanted to tell the story from a different viewpoint. The song was written four years ago and inspired by Reba McEntire’s “Whoever’s in New England,” which was written from the perspective of a wife whose husband is cheating on her. Nettles knew countless songs written from that viewpoint but none from the other two people involved. She says most people don’t realize that even the person who is doing the cheating gets hurt as well. Read more...

I grew up not far from Atlanta, Georgia, home to the music duo Sugarland and I have enjoyed their smooth country sound over the years. While I do miss the days, when they were a trio, I still love the sounds of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush when they perform together. I have seen Sugarland perform live, quite a bit, got to show that home state pride, and they never disappoint!

I last saw them live at an outdoor venue and it was one of the best shows I had even seen. As usual Sugarland had the audience’s attention from start to finish, something that can be hard to do when the audience can move about the area. This night it was as if everyone was frozen in time as everyone was focused on Sugarland.

There was an amazing backdrop that allowed those in the distance to see what was happening on stage and while I ended up close to the stage the backdrop just added to my enjoyment as the performers seemed larger than life. I cannot wait to see Sugarland perform again and I can only hope it is soon as I love hearing “Stay” live, I think I will be the first in line for a ticket.

Lindsey Ell opened the show. She was high energy and did great!

Frankie Ballard was up next. What a showman! He was so fun to watch. He made you smile. He really enjoys his job! He sounded great. He had the audience in the palm of his hand.

Sugarland! They did not disappoint! They were fabulous. They had you up and dancing and smiling the entire show. They sounded great! The stage was great. I cant say enough about what a great show this was.

ABOUT LITTLE BIG TOWN

GRAMMY, ACM, CMA, AMA, and Emmy Award-winning group, Little Big Town – consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook – first entered the music scene 25 years ago with hit songs “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the GRAMMY-nominated “Little White Church.” The band’s breakthrough albums Tornado and PainKiller produced multiple No. 1 singles, including “Pontoon,” “Tornado,” and “Day Drinking,” as well as the history-making, best-selling country single of the year (2015) “Girl Crush.” 2017’s The Breaker debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Charts to critical acclaim. The album features their GRAMMY-winning, multi-week #1 single, “Better Man,” as well as the 2019 GRAMMY-nominated, “When Someone Stops Loving You.” The band’s self-produced ninth studio album, Nightfall, was released January 2020 and hit the top of the Billboard Country Charts. The record included critically acclaimed and GRAMMY-nominated songs “The Daughters,” “Over Drinking” and “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” - the latter of which has reached almost 400 million global streams. In September 2022, they released their tenth studio album, Mr. Sun, which debuted as the Top Country Album released by a Group in 2022. Little Big Town has earned more than 45 award show nominations and has taken home over 20 awards, including multiple GRAMMY, AMA, People’s Choice, CMA, and ACM Awards, in addition to an Emmy award.

ABOUT SUGARLAND

Since the band’s inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly 10 million albums domestically, achieving high-mark sales with PLATINUM-certified THE INCREDIBLE MACHINE, 2X PLATINUM LOVE ON THE INSIDE and 3X PLATINUM TWICE THE SPEED OF LIFE as well as ENJOY THE RIDE. Their most popular songs include PLATINUM-certified “All I Want to Do” and “Stay,” 2X PLATINUM “Stuck Like Glue” as well as GOLD-certified “Baby Girl,” “It Happens,” “Settlin’,” “Something More” and “Want To.” Sugarland has also earned seven No. 1 singles to date and amassed over 600 million on-demand streams. Their critical and mainstream appeal have been magnified with industry accolades – five consecutive CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year (2007-2011), five ACM Awards (including Song of the Year and Single of the Year) and GRAMMY® Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Country Song for “Stay.”

ABOUT THE CASTELLOWS

Neo-Traditional Country music trio, The Castellows, bring a literal meaning to the phrase, “family tradition.” The band comprised of sisters Ellie (lead guitar), Powell (banjo) and Lily (vocals), hail from small rural Georgetown, Georgia, but now call Nashville home. The Castellows’ sound is traditional, yet modern. Authentic, yet harnessed. The common thread among the trio, other than their DNA, is their masterful three-part harmonies which blend together to create one singular, almost angelic, voice. The Castellows’ craft as songwriters is as robust as their voices, which is evident across the trio’s debut EP, A Little Goes A Long Way , which was released worldwide on February 9, 2024. The band wrote/co-wrote six of the seven songs that make up the project, with the promise of much more music to come. The band began turning heads of music industry insiders in January 2023. When spring arrived, The Castellows had signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville & Warner Records, collectively. Wasting no time on pleasantries, The Castellows immediately got to work writing, recording, and performing live. Tapping veteran producer Trina Shoemaker (Sheryl Crow, Nanci Griffith, Queens of the Stone Age), the first fruits of labor to be harvested from 2023 is the debut A Little Goes A Long Way. One year later, the three sisters from a cattle farm in Georgia are still turning heads, landing on multiple 2024 ‘Watch Lists’ including CMT Next Women of Country , CMT ‘Listen Up,’ Pandora, Country Now , Nashville Lifestyles’ ‘Five Groups You Need To Know,’ in addition to receiving a nomination for the CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year at the 2024 CMT Music Awards.

Little Big Town, Sugarland unveil ‘Take Me Home’ song & tour

The song is available now with a tour to follow this fall

Little Big Town and Sugarland have unveiled new music and a joint tour. The two groups have released a cover of the Phil Collins hit “Take Me Home” and will embark on a joint North American tour of the same name this fall with The Castellows. The Take Me Home trek hits 18 cities starting on October 24th in Greenville, South Carolina before it wraps on December 13th in Nashville. The closing night is a special Nashville homecoming for the band as it’ll be Little Big Town’s first show in town since 2017’s iconic sold-out ten-night residency at Ryman Auditorium.

The bands shared the news ahead of their 2024 CMT Music Awards performance where they’ll make their world premiere performance of the song on CBS.

“25 years of music and we can’t wait to celebrate it with you ❤️ We will be hitting the road this fall as we celebrate #LBT25 with Sugarland and The Castellows on the Take Me Home Tour,” Little Big Town shares on social media . “Proud to share our cover of the legendary @officialphilcollins classic ‘Take Me Home’ out now.”

“Excited to be sharing the stage with our longtime friends Little Big Town tonight on the #CMTawards, as well as announcing our new song and tour together!” Sugarland states on social media .

Various presale tickets are available starting on Tuesday, April 9th at 10 am local time ahead of the general on-sale set for Friday, April 12th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster . The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to take their concert experience to the next level. Packages vary but include premium tickets, an interactive Little Big Town coffee book, a limited edition and autographed tour poster & more. VIP package contents vary based on the offer selected.

Little Big Town and Sugarland’s rendition of “Take Me Home,” originally written and released by Phil Collins in 1985, gives the song a fresh new meaning but leaves us with a familiar longing. The performance served as a monumental homecoming for the two country music giants as they last shared the CMT Music Awards stage in 2008 for a rousing rendition of “Life In A Northern Town.” The groups will perform the song on the trek, produced by Live Nation and Sandbox Live.

Grammy, ACM, CMA, AMA, and Emmy Award-winning group, Little Big Town – consisting of members Karen Fairchild, Phillip Sweet, Kimberly Schlapman, and Jimi Westbrook – first entered the music scene 25 years ago with hit songs “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the Grammy-nominated “Little White Church.” The band’s breakthrough albums Tornado and Pain Killer produced multiple No. 1 singles, including “Pontoon,” “Tornado,” and “Day Drinking,” as well as the history-making, best-selling country single of the year (2015) “Girl Crush.” 2017’s The Breaker debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Charts to critical acclaim. The album features their Grammy-winning, multi-week No. 1 single, “Better Man,” as well as the 2019 Grammy-nominated, “When Someone Stops Loving You.” The band’s self-produced ninth studio album, Nightfall , was released in January 2020 and hit the top of the Billboard Country Charts. The record included critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated songs “The Daughters,” “Over Drinking” and “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” – the latter of which has reached almost 400 million global streams. In September 2022, they released their tenth studio album, Mr. Sun , which debuted as the Top Country Album released by a Group in 2022. Little Big Town has earned more than 45 award show nominations and has taken home over 20 awards.

Since the band’s inception in 2002, Sugarland has sold nearly ten million albums domestically, achieving high-mark sales with platinum-certified The Incredible Machine , two-time platinum  Love on the Inside, and three-time platinum  Twice the Speed of Life  as well as Enjoy the Ride . Their most popular songs include platinum-certified “All I Want to Do” and “Stay,” two-time platinum “Stuck Like Glue” as well as gold-certified “Baby Girl,” “It Happens,” “Settlin’,” “Something More” and “Want To.” Sugarland has also earned seven No. 1 singles and amassed over 600 million on-demand streams. Their critical and mainstream appeal has been magnified with industry accolades – five consecutive CMA Awards for Vocal Duo of the Year (2007-2011), five ACM Awards (including Song of the Year and Single of the Year), and Grammy Awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Country Song for “Stay.”

Sugarland is back together and is heading to South Mississippi with Little Big Town

M ississippi Coast Coliseum already announced that Little Big Town is coming to Biloxi Dec. 11, but now they’re sharing the billing with country band Sugarland on the joint 2024 “Take Me Home Tour.”

The tour starts Oct. 24 and the Biloxi show comes just before the tour ends on Dec. 13 in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the tour dates released by Sugarland. .

Tickets are already on sale for the 7 p.m. show at the coliseum. Prices in Biloxi start at about $35 and go to more than $300 for VIP premium ticket packages that include commemorative gifts .

Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush haven’t toured or released new music since their last album, “Bigger,” in 2017.

The band’s debut song “Baby Girl” peaked at No. 2 and they went on to top the charts singles “Want To,” “Settlin,’” “All I Want to Do,” “Already Gone” and “It Happens.”

Little Big Town has been playing for more than 20 years and is best known for songs “Boondocks,” “Better Man,” “Bring It On Home,” “Good As Gone” and the Grammy-nominated “Little White Church.”

The bands played together at the 2024 CMT Music Awards in Texas.

It’s possible the bands will have a Christmas song or two on their playlist in Biloxi. During a 2010 Christmas special, Sugarland was backed by Little Big Town on a performance of “Winter Wonderland.”

In a recent interview with Crash of the 96.1 The Rocket radio station, Ian Hill was asked about JUDAS PRIEST 's ongoing U.S. tour in support of the band's latest album, "Invincible Shield" . The 72-year-old bassist responded: "The tour's going great. It really is. There's a hell of a lot of interest in the band, I think mainly because, well, the album is very good and people had to wait a long time for it as well, because of what happened with COVID and what have you, the long protracted recording process. And, of course, there was also the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame [induction in November 2022]. I think that put a lot of focus on the band as well. And we were grateful for that. Everywhere's selling out, which is great news — most places, anyway. There's one or two places which aren't far away [from being sold out]. And I don't know — it's just all bubbled up again for some reason."

He continued: "Back in the '80s there, we were going out and playing in front of 15,000 people a night, things like that — it became a fad in the '80s — then it went back down to normal. And now it's having a resurgence. It's good news for all metal bands, not just us. [There is] a lot more interest, and you notice it on stage as well. You're looking down into the audience, and there's a hell of a lot of young people there — probably dragged initially, screaming and yelling by the parents, but they're loving it. They're getting into it. They're loving it. They wear the t-shirts. They know the words to the songs, which is amazing. And I think there's a great future for the genre. And, like I say, it's good news for us all."

Hill also talked about PRIEST 's touring plans for the rest of 2024, going into 2025. He said: "We've got about another three weeks, maybe, in the States. I mean, we've only really done the East Coast. We haven't ventured over any further than about Chicago. So we've got about a week off. Then we go back to Europe. We've already done one European leg, but there's a lot of festivals during the summer in Europe. So, we'll go and do all the festivals in Europe. And we've got August off, I think. And then we'll be back here [in the U.S.] in September to do to the rest of the states, do the West Coast and Texas and wherever — and Canada; we haven't touched Canada on this run either, so we're gonna be going up there too. That'll take us probably to maybe October. And we've got a little bit of time off then, and then off to Japan in December. [Then it's] Christmas and then possibly next year, South America, maybe Southeast Asia. We'll see what crops up next year. Then we'll take stock."

JUDAS PRIEST kicked off the U.S. leg of the "Invincible Shield" world tour on April 18 at Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Hill is the sole remaining original member of PRIEST , which formed in 1969. Singer Rob Halford joined the group in 1973 and guitarist Glenn Tipton signed on in 1974. Rob left PRIEST in the early 1990s to form his own band, then came back to PRIEST in 2003. Original guitarist K.K. Downing parted ways with the band in 2011, and was replaced by Faulkner .

Tipton was diagnosed with Parkinson's 10 years ago — after being stricken by the condition at least half a decade earlier — but announced in early 2018 he was going to sit out touring activities in support of JUDAS PRIEST 's "Firepower" album. He was replaced by "Firepower" and "Invincible Shield" album producer Andy Sneap , who is also known for his work in NWOBHM revivalists HELL and cult thrash outfit SABBAT .

"Invincible Shield" entered the U.K. chart at No. 2, just behind Ariana Grande 's "Eternal Sunshine" .

Prior to "Invincible Shield" 's arrival, PRIEST 's highest U.K. chart achievement was with 1980's "British Steel" , which reached No. 4.

PRIEST 's 2018 album "Firepower" entered the chart at No. 5.

"Invincible Shield" was JUDAS PRIEST 's fifth Top 10 album, after the aforementioned "British Steel" and "Firepower" , as well as 2014's "Redeemer Of Souls" (No. 6) and the 1979 live album "Unleashed In The East" (No. 10).

"Invincible Shield" landed at No. 1 in Germany, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as No. 5 in France, No. 8 in Italy and No. 16 in Australia.
